BSP; you bring up a very important point, although I have to show you something about that. In this very chapter is described quite differently than what you say: "Let the priests the ministers of the LORD weep..saying, Spare thy people O LORD.." It is part of our duty as Christ's disciples to walk in His steps of feeling compassion and hurt WITH those suffering, to stand up for them before God.

Verse 21: Those who are righteous in God's eyes will have no reason to fear these things. Jehovah God will not destroy the righteous along with the wicked.

Joel2 shows that God is merciful.if we truly repent and turn away from our sin He will forgive us and restore all that we have lost in sin. It's also painting a picture of the end time which depicts hardships war, terror etc but only those who truly serve God and worship him will be saved. They will be exempted from evil of this days. It will be a lifting up. Visions great ideas of the end time will be poured out from God to His children. Gods children will be creating new jobs opening up new businesses. There will be abundance for us. God will restore us and get ready for His return. We would also be an instrument of restoration of the lost world to Him. Praise God

The book Joel is showing us the true makeup of God,He can send His wrath when He's trying to get His people's attention , He will warn man too ,because He loves man..He would rather share His love thourgh the Holy Spirit to comfort not chasten ,but if your His He will save you..

Messiah calls upon us to be the light of the world amidst darkness, Matt, 5:16 I have often heard verses 7-9 of this chapter compared to Romans 8 concerning the manifested sons of God , but this is hard to swallow especially since Messiah says that the thief cometh not, but to steal, kill, and destroy, but that he Messiah is come with life, and that more abundantly. Jn. 10:10.

God can never allow me fail, everything happening to me that looks like a storm is only trying God not me. and God will win for me in Jesus name Amen

This solidifies my assurance in restoration and faith in God 's protection and promise.

The word came by the Spirit of the Almighty God. Reading Joel 2 is like walking through the gate of heaven it is full of assurance from the Lord. We as Christians are currently experiencing tremendous persecution and untold attacks from the enemy. But reading through Joel 2 gives me so much assurances and faith in the promises of God. The prophesy in Chapter 2 is being fulfilled as we speak !

....He is strong that executeth His word...

I thank God for his word, it keep on building my faith and hope that all that I hve lost God will restore it in his unique way. Blessed.

It is so amazing how I was thinking about a portion of this chapter yesterday and got to find out where it is in the Word today from a prophetic word sent to me by email. I thank God for His word which He always does what he says he will do. This chapter of Joel reminds and helps me to keep the faith and stay focused. Hello Sylvester mckinney, jr.: I am curious, how does Genesis 6 gives you the Holy Ghost? The Holy Ghost is not mentioned until in Isaiah 28: 11 Isaiah 33: 19 Joel 2: 28 and 29. Then it fell on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2.

God is so faithful, he watches over his word to preform it.

An Awareness of the situation that surrounds us in the moment of need, allows God to take away the sin and worries that confronts us daily. Without God we are nothing, with him we are everything that we should be. To take away reflects to us the lack of understanding of where we went wrong. Asking and seeking forgiveness restores his mercy to us out of love. This enables us to serve God more effectively on the path to righteousness.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT! If Zion represent the people of God and Its habitation, why are the people in these places at tremble. Why do God 's people tremble at his coming or being at hand? Is this judgment first in the house of God? Should we not rejoice in his appearance to us or even his acts toward the nation.

Good news I Am the Lord our God, continually does great things! I 'm completing 7 of 8 sessions chemotherapy this week. My treatmesnt are biweekly, on Thursdays, so I did have to miss work sick crappy days were limited to the weekends, my days off . Because I color coordinated my outfits w bandanas no one knosw I 'm currently receiving chemo, unless told. Through this season breast cancer did not wound my faith. People don 't want to glorify God for sustaining me... they rather credit my youth 49 , my muscles mass a little tone however it is the word of God, the word is living running water. God delivers and His works in me is a wonder to those who knows Him not.
