The Bible says there's one God and it says God has 3 persons or entities. It sounds like the question is: to what degree is God one and to what degree is God 3 separate entities. That is hard to answer exactly to what degree which is why different churches will emphasize one side or the other. Hello. I don't remember reading "altar call" in the New Testament. I don't remember anyone in the New Testament describing such an experience. We can cry for a variety of reasons, especially when moved by other people around us, so it doesn't necessarily prove anything. It sounds like you were in a pentecostal or charismatic type event.

Hello stan, yes we have been given the "right" to be called the sons of God! But, sticking with this chapter, read verse 35, unto whom the word of God came. We are in the sheepfold now, but we don t go around calling ourselves sons of God-do we? i am content to be a follower, a christian.
