A Theological Investigations, reputed Catholic scholar Karl Rahner states that “in
St. John’s First Epistle ὁ θεός [“the God”] so often certainly means the Father that it must be understood of the Father throughout the Epistle.” Also, the French Protestant Bible du Centenaire concedes in a footnote that the Greek allows for a non-Trinitarian translation. Incidentally, it not be forgotten that, probably in the fourth century C.E., an overzealous Trinitarian Latin scribe added to 1  John 5:7 the words “the Father, the Word and the holy spirit; and these three are one.” This addition, known technically as the “Johannine Comma,” was protected by the Vatican until
1927, in spite of the fact that even some Catholic scholars had raised doubts about its authenticity
as early as the sixth century. This dishonest insertion shows the lengths to which Trinitarians will
go in their efforts to prove their doctrine

    God’s Name and the Trinity
Something that makes God very real to Jehovah’s Witnesses is their knowledge and regular use of his personal name, Jehovah. ( Psalm 83:18) When a member of one of Christendom’s churches reads in his Bible the anonymous expression “the name of the Lord,” it means little or nothing to him. Similarly, when he prays “hallowed be thy name,” the chances are that he does not know what name he is praying about. Jehovah’s Witnesses know their God, they know his name and, like the psalmist and Jesus himself, they love their heavenly Father’s name.— Psalm 5:11, 12; John 12:28; 17:6, 26.
Since God’s personal name appears literally thousands of times in the original-language Bible, why has it been expunged from many of Christendom’s Bible translations, and why is it never used by the hundreds of millions of Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant “Christians”? Could the dogma of the Trinity have anything to do with this most extraordinary religious fact?
Interestingly, the Catholic Jerusalem Bible renders Deuteronomy 6:4: “Listen, Israel: Yahweh our God is the one Yahweh.” And a footnote, after giving another possible translation, states: “But it is more likely that we have here a declaration of monotheistic faith.” This, then, is the one God of whom Jesus, speaking as a Jew, stated: “We worship what we know.” ( John 4:22) And this Catholic Bible admits that the name of that one God is Yahweh, or Jehovah. Now, according to Trinitarian theology, Yahweh, or Jehovah, is the name of the God of the Hebrew patriarchs and the Jews, the God whom Jesus came to reveal as “the Father,” or “God the Father.” It follows that for Trinitarians the divine name Yahweh, or Jehovah, designates only one of the supposed “Three Persons” of the “Godhead.” The “Second Person” has a name (Jesus), but the “Third Person” is the anonymous “Holy Spirit.” Christendom’s churches cannot logically use a name for God that does not designate the entire “Godhead.” So their members are condemned to worship a mysterious triune God that has no name.Yet, instinctively, many Catholics feel the need to worship someone they can know and name. This, no doubt, explains why many of them worship Jesus or even Mary. This same instinct to worship a God one can name is even reflected in religious architecture. In scores of Catholic chapels, churches and cathedrals in France and other countries, above the high altar or elsewhere there is a gilded, rayed nimbus representing divine glory. In the center is a triangle, symbolizing the Trinity. Paradoxically, inside the triangle is the Tetragrammaton, the four Hebrew consonants of God’s name, Jehovah. But how many Catholics today realize that it is God’s name?
    “One Lord, Jesus Christ”
After having stated: “There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him,” the apostle Paul added: “And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6) Jehovah’s Witnesses subscribe to that further statement. Jehovah, the Father, is the Source; Jesus, God’s “only-begotten son,” the “firstborn of all creation,” is the means by which the Father accomplishes His will.— John 1:2, 3, 14; Colossians 1:15, 16.

I was mistaken in my thinking. I understood the verse to mean the following:
If I be lifted up = praising God, lifting our voices in praise and worship to God Almighty.
In that = He (God) would draw all men unto him.

What does Jesus say about faith? "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." ( John 3:16-18) What does Jesus say about them who believe not? "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." ( John 10:26-29) Jesus said, "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. ( John 12:46-48) "Without faith it is impossible to please [God]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is..." ( Hebrews 11:6) Jesus came. People saw. People heard. Some believed. Their hearing and seeing Jesus led to belief; their belief on what they heard, saw, and believed became their faith. "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." ( Romans 10:17)

The doctrines/teachings Faith Alone = Salvation is a half truth doctrine. Because, even one verses in the bible you cannot read that through Faith our Soul can enter into the kingdom of heaven. Many verses in the bible that to enter into the kingdom of heaven is in your own works/individual works to follow the words of Jesus Christ. Old test. prophesy is in verses: Exeq. 14:14, 14:20, & Exeq. 18:27. New test. verses; James 1:21& 22, Acts 2:40, Fil. 2:12. In Mat. 7:21, faith alone cannot ride this verse because to enter into the kingdom of heaven is the one's who doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Faith and Good Works = Salvation to enter into heaven. Our heavenly Father will not judge to our faith to him. But our heavenly Father will judge to our works whether good or bad. Jesus in his life on earth grappled continuously with unbelievers. He was sent to do one thing and that was to give Israel the words of truth from God. Few believed so he raised Lazuras from the dead. Some believed, then a voice from Heaven Glorifying. He states that those who love their life in this world shall lose it. And rightly has Issaia said that seeing we won't see even the miracles, for we harden our heart and will not believe that which manifested before us.

well according to Revelation chapter 8 verse 1, it is speaking of that God Almighty himself is silence, he have shout down on many; especially to the grown folks who are over 35; up years of age. for he said that we the grown folk knows better; know right from wrong; when we do not listen to him;apply;comply to him; his needs that is exactly what we as people of his creation is going to faced up with, with plenty of destruction, bad conditions; plus situations. And so, if we as people, especially the older folks who knows better; have the knowledge that God is real; plus he talks and respect him for the person; the God that he is; do the right thing then none of this would or could have happen to us; in the world. But because of our hard head; defiant ways that is why things is going like this, but trust me there are more where this comes from. However, let me tell you something the LORD MEDAD YAHWEH do not abandon his people, his children unless his children; we abandon him first, for he is ah God of love; he doesn't want this for us; for we brought this crisis; dilemma on, why? Because we have sin; done wrong to him;plus towards him;so, what is for him to do? turn his back on us, yust like we did to him; trust me; when he, God Almighty does that, the means he is sick; plus tired of our foolishness; plus stupidity towards. So when he, God MEDAD YAHWEH turns his face; back the other way, that means he had enough; allows the enemy to have his; their way with us, you; the world for being so aunrey; unattentive to him; his needs. So for right now he,GOD ALMIGHTY is very silent, we especially us old folks are practically on our own. Now for the younger children; generation he is attending to their needs, for they don't know as much as us, older ones. For us older ones; generations was to be the ones putting the younger ones in check; plus in order. So you see why all of this craziness is going on, for the seal of protection of us; others is; have been broken, remember when the seal have been broken it means that we are no longer sealed or protected like we was before, now remember the seal have; has many sides to it, for I'm sure it is not only talking about one way. I know this because the holy spirit, MEDAD YAHWEH, GOD ALMIGHTY have told me this, for no one could have given to me this insight but only him, for after all he knows all; plus sees all. shalom for this have been pearl Abiygayil Yisrael B.K.A. disciple Mary for the holy spirit, my dad; God have told me of who I am this day; if it wasn't for Medad Yahweh I wouldn't have known this again. And based on the holy scriptures, the torah; tanakh it can be verified on John chapter 11:1-57, 19:25-27, Luke 10:38-42; plus, John 12:1-3.And so, there you have it.

Jesus were given his disciples and followers specific commands, a kind of worldwide works that individually should follow,if truly they are an obedient followers. This is about the preaching work about the Kingdom of God and discipleship making. Please read Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:18,20

But most people around the world still do not know what is the Kingdom of God? And which among many religions are truly followers of Jesus, since Jesus himself warned that "many" will confess him as Lord but "will deceived many"- Matthew 24:4,5

The safest things to do is to stay at home and wait someone to knock on our door. Why? Because Jesus had specific command to his true followers, at Matthew 10:5-11 Jesus commanded his follower to " Preach the good news of the kingdom of God through house to house method, village to village and city to city." Also read Acts 20:20

Yes, if we are truly determined to obey Jesus command, We should stick to his "specific" teachings and wait until we meet this kind of people, right on our doorway. Ask them like, " Do you know what is the Kingdom of God?"

Here are some truth about the Kingdom of God:

    When Will
    God’s Kingdom Come?

“LORD, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?” ( Acts 1:6) The apostles were eager to know when Jesus would establish his Kingdom. Today, some 2,000 years later, people are still eager to know: When will God’s Kingdom come?

Since Jesus made the Kingdom the theme of his preaching, you might expect that he discussed this question. And indeed he did! He spoke extensively about a marked period of time that he called his “presence.” ( Matthew 24:37) That presence is closely tied to the establishment of the Messianic Kingdom. What is this presence? Let us consider four truths the Bible reveals about the presence of Christ.

    1. Christ’s presence would begin a long time after his death. Jesus gave an illustration in which he likened himself to a man who “traveled to a distant land to secure kingly power,” or to “secure a kingdom.” ( Luke 19:12; footnote) How was that prophetic illustration fulfilled? Well, Jesus died and was resurrected; then he traveled to the “distant land,” that is, heaven. As Jesus foretold in a similar illustration, his return in kingly power would come only “after a long time.”— Matthew 25:19.

Some years after Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostle Paul wrote: “This man [Jesus] offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually and sat down at the right hand of God, from then on awaiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet.” ( Hebrews 10:12, 13) So a lengthy period of waiting followed Jesus’ arrival in heaven. The wait finally ended when Jehovah God made his Son the King of the long-promised Messianic Kingdom. That was when Christ’s presence began. Would humans on earth see this momentous event?

    2. The presence is invisible to human eyes. Remember, Jesus discussed the sign of his presence. ( Matthew 24:3) If his presence were visible to human eyes, would a sign be needed? To illustrate: Imagine that you are traveling to see the ocean. You may see road signs directing you along the way, but once you are at the shore, standing at the water’s edge with the vast expanse of water stretching out to the horizon, would you expect to see a sign with a big arrow pointing ahead, emblazoned with the word “Ocean”? Of course not! Why have a sign to point out what you can easily identify with your eyes?

Jesus described the sign of his presence, not to point out something that humans could see with their eyes, but to help them discern something that would occur in heaven. Thus, Jesus said: “The kingdom of God is not coming with striking observableness.” ( Luke 17:20) How, then, would the sign show those on earth that Christ’s presence had begun?

    3. Jesus’ presence would be marked by a time of profound troubles here on earth. Jesus said that his presence as King in heaven would be marked on earth by wars, famines, earthquakes, pestilences, and lawlessness. ( Matthew 24:7-12; Luke 21:10, 11) What would cause all this misery? The Bible explains that Satan, “the ruler of this world,” is full of rage because he knows that his time is very short now that Christ’s presence as King has begun. ( John 12:31; Revelation 12:9, 12) Such visible evidence of Satan’s rage and of Christ’s presence has been abundant in our time. Especially since 1914, a year that historians acknowledge was a turning point, has this evidence appeared on an unprecedented and global scale.

All of that may sound like bad news, but it is not. It means that the Messianic Kingdom is ruling now in heaven. Very soon, that government will exercise its rule right here over all the earth. How, though, would people know about that Kingdom in order to accept its rule and become its subjects?

The bad news we hear every day proves that good things are coming soon
    Two women discussing Jesus' prophecy

    4. Jesus’ presence is marked by a global preaching work. Jesus said that his presence would be like “the days of Noah.”* ( Matthew 24:37-39) Noah was more than an ark builder; he was also “a preacher of righteousness.” ( 2 Peter 2:5) Noah warned people that a judgment from God was on its way. Jesus said that his followers on earth would be doing something similar during his presence. He prophesied: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”— Matthew 24:14.

As we saw in the preceding article, God’s Kingdom will destroy all the governments of this world. The preaching work alerts people that this heavenly government is about to act, giving all an opportunity to escape the coming destruction and become subjects of that Kingdom. The key question, then, is, How will you respond?
Will God’s Kingdom Mean Good News for You?

The message that Jesus preached was one of incomparable hope. After the rebellion in Eden thousands of years ago, Jehovah God purposed to form a government that would set matters right, returning faithful humans to the condition that God had in mind for them from the start—life eternal in a paradise here on earth. What could be more thrilling than the knowledge that this long-promised government is ruling right now in heaven? It is not some remote, abstract concept but a living reality!

Now, God’s appointed King is ruling in the midst of his enemies. ( Psalm 110:2) In this corrupt world alienated from God, the Messiah is fulfilling his Father’s desire to search out all who want to come to know God as he really is and to worship him “with spirit and truth.” ( John 4:24) The hope of living forever under the rule of God’s Kingdom is available to people of all races, ages, and social backgrounds. ( Acts 10:34, 35) We urge you to take hold of the marvelous opportunity before you. Learn about God’s Kingdom now, so that you can enjoy living under its righteous rule forever!— 1 John 2:17.

Jh. 8:3-11 The woman was taken to Jesus for judgement. Jesus said go and sin no more. You mean no one can obey this command, Jesus is so merciful saying this word if no one can obey. For ex. of a father righteous in this world, He will not command his 4 years old son/daughter to bring 5 gallons of water in a can, since he knew it is heavy. Our God also cannot command to his people that we cannot do. To enter into the kingdom of heaven is dual. Faith to the Lord Jesus Christ heartily & faith to his words. I would not deny that faith alone can saved. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us an example to the one on his side also hanging on the cross whom he has given a promised to enter into the kingdom of heaven. After that promised he was dead, so nothing bad works or evil thoughts he can do again because his body is dead. Not like us, to compare the faith to one of the robbers because we are alive, so after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, our evil thoughts, evil eyes was there and also of being a liar. To erase this we have to work and practice to follow his words and ask him for help and pray that all our bad works will be clean before his judgement. We know we are all temporary here,so why not we prepared on that day to come. There are so many verses to support that salvation of our Soul is individual/own works and not by faith whereby many believers was deceived. Old test. Exeq. 14:14, Exeq. 14:20, Exeq. 18:28. New test. Acts 2:40, Phillip. 2:12, 1 Tim. 4:16, & James 1:21-22. Our God will judge to our works whether good or bad. Our God will not judge to our faith to him. But God judge us is based in his words. Supporting verses: 2 Cor. 5:10, Ecclesias. 12:14 & John 12:48.

Dear Linda, I wanted to respond also to the part of your letter about God's Word saying that no man has seen God at anytime. I found the scripture, and some more that relate to it. No man can see God, but mankind, to whomever He will reveal Himself, can see His Christ; His Image; His only begotten Son, which is also His Word; words, and is the Sword of His Spirit, and we can see God, the Father IN the Face of God's Word; God's only begotten Son; Christ Jesus. The reason Christ is the ONLY begotten of God; the Father, is because Christ was always with God, always existed, was always part of that which is God, and literally CAME FORTH from God. All mankind that receives Christ is born of; begotten of, God BY Christ; BY God's Word, and by His Spirit, thus the Spirit of God's Word. For, the WORDS of Christ are spirit and life.
It is IN the Face; the WORDS, of Christ, that we see; perceive, and come to know, the Father. As, Christ Jesus is the EXPRESS Image of God, the Father. As, Christ was/is the very HEART of God, the Father, expressed unto us. Christ IS the Word, and thus the WORDS of the Father, speaking unto us. As it is written:

I John 3:I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

When Christ Jesus says 'My words,' they are not His as far as where; Who, they came from. The words of God's Word; Christ, are the words of His Father, just as Christ; God's Word, is God's; the Father's.

There are so many beautiful and deep things touched upon in the prayer that Jesus Christ prayed to His Father in John, chapter 17. One thing is that He says, in so many words, 'Father, you gave mankind ME, and I gave them your WORDS.

John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou GAVEST THEM ME; and they have kept thy word.

7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

8 For I have GIVEN unto them THE WORDS which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

    20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is NOT MINE, but the Father's which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with THY LIKENESS.

I John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, NOW are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when HE shall appear, we shall be LIKE HIM; for we shall see him as he is.

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

    3 Who being THE BRIGHTNESS his glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

To enter into the kingdom of heaven is dual. Faith to the Lord Jesus Christ heartily and faith to His words. Not like us, to compare the faith to the one of the robbers because we are alive, so after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, our evil thoughts, evil eyes was there and also of being a liar. To erase this we have to work and practice to follow HIS words and ask Him for help and pray that all our bad works will be clean before His judgement. We know we are all temporary here, so why not we prepared on that day to come. The word salvation in Eph. 2:8&9 is very broad. The meaning of salvation is someone is in bad condition/situation and then in turn became to a good condition/situation. There are many ways to receive salvation. For example in material things: salvation from hunger, salvation from accident & sickness. In Spiritual things, there are also many ways to receive salvation: 1) 1) 1Cor. 9:21-22- salvation to those who have no knowledge, continue to Rom. 10:3, 2) Eph. 2:8&9- salvation through faith. this kind of salvation is that our sins was saved. Ref. verses: Mat. 9:2 & Acts 10:43. This kind of faith is not a guarantee to enter into heaven. 3) James 1:21-22 - salvation of our soul. This is a guarantee to enter into heaven. If your soul is pure, perfect, holy & blameless. 4) Rom. 5:9 - salvation from the wrath of God, because this world will suffer various destruction. There are verses to support salvation of our Soul is individual/own works and not by faith where are many believers was deceived. Ref. verses: Acts 2:40, Philip. 2:12. 1Tim. 4:16 & James 1:21-22. Our God will judge to our works whether good or bad. Our God will not judge to our faith to Him. But God judge us is based in HIS words. Supporting verses: 2Cor. 5:10, Ecclesias. 12:14 & John 12:48."

I agree, and I praise God so much for sending forth His only begotten Son; His Word; His righteousness, to be born into the world in that body of the form of a man, to take our place of sin, and death, and that we may be in Him, and Him in us, and that we may, in the name of Jesus, take authority over all the power of the enemy that seeks to seduce, lure, and distract, mankind from God's Word. For, the real enemies of all mankind are devils, that work to pervert and corrupt the righteousness of God in the eyes, and ears, and minds, of mankind, as it is written
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, CONDEMNED sin in the flesh:
For this cause He came, and for this cause may we more and more lift Him; our Head; God's Word; God's Power, UP, declaring Him; declaring the Word of God; Lifting Him up with our voices, over all the power of then enemy, and that as many of mankind as will hear, and receive Him, will hear, and receive Him. For, as surely as Christ Jesus was raised up, upon the cross, we raise Him up that is risen, and victorious, when we declare Him; God's Word, Who is our HEAD; our Lord, and Saviour. As it is written,
Psalms 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies ROUND ABOUT ME: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
    And, as it is written,
John 12:32 And I, IF I BE LIFTED UP from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Our Heavenly Father will chastise His people as sorely as necessary, all those that continue in sin, doing all He can to get their attention, their eyes upon Him, their hearts seeking His merciful forgiveness, because there is no sin worth spending eternity in eternal damnation, and there is no chastisement so sore that it would not be worth it all, should it move one to call upon the Lord, to repent of his/her sins before God, and be saved from the wages of sin, which is death in eternal damnation.
