Discuss John 12 Page 4

This morning I thought more on Lazarus & the parable of Lazarus, in thinking about it: maybe the parable/story was also about how the "Rich" in scriptural knowledge, not sharing or helping while Lazarus had "wounds the dogs would._." alone in his suffering, while the other had historical words of hope, healing, redemption, deliverance.

Just thinking: even though Lazarus in real life may not have been financially poor, his sister had been tormented by 7 demons, in front of the ' religious ' for they judged her openly, Lazarus who dwelt with his sister/s suffered.

Jesus walks in, delivers, redeems, forgives, restores & teaches GOD's words. Mark 16:9, Luke 5:17, Luke 5:29-32, Mark 2:14-17, Matthew 9:10-13, Luke 8:2, Mark 16:9,

John 11:2, John 12:1-11, Luke 7:36-50, Luke 8:2, believing Mary to be Mary Madgelene, & reading John 11:2, (as the only time Jesus feet were anointed with oil, & wiped by a Mary's hair)

Luke 16, interestingly in the Parable/story the "rich" man cried "Father Abraham, have mercy._.._" & "if they hear not Moses an the Prophets._."

    John 11, & John 12,

Thank you Fred , for me , the most disgusting thing about the Pharisees is that they actually wanted to kill Lazarus . This evil of theirs boggles my mind . My guess is that he went into hiding after Jesus's crucifixion , maybe even before . Christ is fearless , true love is the bravest attribute , for true love even us mere mortals will risk ourselves for some one we love . Christ knew where he wanted to be and this should be our desire , our deepest desire , the World to Come . Thy Kingdom Come Dear Heavenly Father , when it is Your Will . Great post Fred , much love in Christ .

One can learn from the intensity and the power of wrong thinking when we do not except Christ. Jesus refers to it as the light. Believe in the light while we have Him. These words compared to nothing less than life here on earth and the life hereafter, called eternity.

He that hates this life, profound as it may seem, are the effects of living in Christ.

Even so we are in the world, doing the will of God, confronting sin in the world.

One may begin to wonder what heaven will be like after leaving this place?

Jesus once again confronting the Pharisees, who did not have far to come, watched Christ having dinner with Lazarus.

So, Jesus takes the opportunity not far from the temple giving the place for Mary to show Her Faith with the anointing of Christ feet, while Her brother looks on! Her brother, this one Jesus clearly raised from the dead after 4 days in the tomb!

The fact that the Pharisees, Simone, and Judas were all there is evidence that Jesus was giving these another chance to believe who He is. This is power, Christ is fearless in the eye's of an unbelieving hateful people ,who only wish to kill Him!

    Repent and be baptized

WHAT IS A UNBELIEVER; the unbelieving?

The Israel of OLD believed in God.

    Even devils believe in God.

But the Israel of OLD didn't believe the words of God.

The Israel of NEW have the same problem, they don't believe the words of God.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me.

Romans 5:10 For if, WHEN WE WERE ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED (already completed) to God by the death of his Son ......

1 Corinthians 15:28 ....and GOD WILL BE ALL IN ALL.

Revelation 21:8 .. the UNBELIEVING and ALL LIARS.....shall have their part in the LAKE OF FIRE.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue Satan, which say are Jews (born again), and are not, BUT DO LIE ........

    God Bless You!

    Hi Zori.

There's those who believe the book of Isaiah have 2 authors because of the contrasting styles between the 1st half of the book and the 2nd half. However Isaiah wrote both halves of the book of Isaiah.

Do a careful research on John 12:37-41. and you will find Jesus contributing both half of the book to Isaiah by quoting from each half of the book.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

I think if you trace out commentaries on Judas in the Gospels and Acts you get the answers to both of your questions.

The set of scriptures that speak about Judas before he committed himself to betray Jesus are: Mark 3:13-19, Luke 6:13-16, John 6:61-71

The event that triggered Judas to act on his decision to betray Jesus: Matthew 26:6-16, Mark 14:3-11, John 12:3-8

Judas identified as betrayer at the last supper: Matthew 26:20-25, Mark 14:17-21, Luke 22:21-22, John 13:18-31

Once his betrayal was set in motion: John 17:9-12

At the betrayal: Matthew 26:45-50, Mark 14:40-46, Luke 22:45-48, John 18:1-9

After completing his betrayal: Matthew 27:3-10, Acts 1:16 and Acts 1:20

We must acknowledge Jn 2:24-25 was true of Christ before He chose any of His disciples. He was never deceived by anyone that temporarily followed him but fell away, including Judas, John 6:64. No prophet had been in Israel for centuries, so Christ alone had this ability when He came until Pentacost. After Pentacost the hearts of certain individuals could be revealed by Christ's Spirit to born again believers that are specially given that gift, such as Peter ( Acts 5:1-13, Acts 8:1-25) Note, Jusas, Ananias and Saphira, and Simon all had their hearts exposed as false thru their follies with money.

Judas was a disciple and he was broken off the vine, but he never had the fruit of the Holy Spirit and was never pronounced pruned/cleaned by the Father or Jesus. We know this because Judas was broken off by the Father before Jesus told the disciples they were pruned/cleaned branches abiding in Him, the true vine, who would bear fruit in John 15. Judas was marked unclean, he was never born again of the Spirit at Pentacost or made an Apostle for the great commission. He died a disciple without the fruitful presence of the Holy Spirit. He is proof that false fruitless brethren can be among us who depart 1 Jn 2:18-20, but not proof some are broken off by God who actually bear fruit by abiding in Jesus.

    (1) His miraculous birth was prophesied 800 years before His coming: "Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel" ( Isaiah 7:14, KJV).

    (2) The prophecy was fulfilled to the letter. "Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus" ( Luke 1:30, 31, KJV).

    (3) Jesus demonstrated human characteristics: He became tired ( John 4:6). He thirsted ( John 19:28), He ate food ( Luke 24:40-43), He showed feelings ( Mark 6:34), He wept ( John 11:35), He knew temptation ( Hebrews 4:15), and He died ( John 19:30).

Jesus Christ Accomplished the Works of His Father:

    (1) He died on the Cross. This is the fundamental theme of the Gospel.

The fact of His death-One-fourth of the Gospels are dedicated to His Passion and Resurrection. (a) For this purpose He came into the world ( John 12:27). (b) His death was prophesied hundreds of years before He came ( Isaiah 53:3-8).

The meaning of His death. (a) It was a ransom for sin ( Matthew 20:28; Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 1:18). (b) It was to pay the penalty for sin ( Romans 3:24; 1 John 2:2; 4:10). Man is the object of God's wrath because of rebellion and sin, but God took the initiative in satisfying His wrath by sending His own Son to Calvary. (c) It is a reconciliation. The enmity between us and God has ended ( Romans 5:10), and we are restored to God ( 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19). (d) It is a substitution: He died in our place ( 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:21). (e) In summary, the matter of sin has been completely dealt with ( 1 Peter 2:24; Hebrews 9:26; Hebrews 10:12).

    (2) He was resurrected from the dead: This is unique and fundamental to Christianity.

The reality of the Resurrection ( John 20:1-10; 1 Corinthians 15:4).

The credibility of the Resurrection: (a) Jesus predicted it: Matthew 13:39-41; Luke 24:1-7. (b) The tomb was empty: John 20:11-13. (c) Many witnesses saw Him alive: the women ( Luke 23:55, 56); Mary Magdalene

Psalms 88:1-5, suffering feeling like death draws near him. Crying out to GOD.

    Psalms 88:6,10,11,12 could even be considered prophetic, pointing towards Jesus CHRIST: 1Peter 4:6, 1Peter 3:18, like Psalms 86:13, 2Samuel 22:6, Psalms 18:5, Acts 2:25-36,

Vrs. 14, 15 seem also to be prophetic to Jesus CHRIST the MESSIAH , John 12:23-50,

Israel of God, the Children of God, are a Spiritual Race, not a physical ethnic race. How can we be sure?

    "God is a Spirit"

    John 4:24

"... Israel is My son; even My first-born:"

    Exod. 4:22

If God is a Spirit, His children must be of the Spirit; not a physical race of people who are centralized in one place in the world. God told us He would strike the Shepherd (Jesus) and the sheep would be scattered. The Israel/Children of God are among every race and in every corner of the world.

"... They which are the children of THE FLESH, these are NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: ..."

    Rom. 9:8

The Children of the Spirit are of God; THEY are the True Israel.

The Day of the Lord in Joel is the same as in Isaiah 13:9-11 & Matt. 24:29-31. It is the Wrath of God, final day judgment. Jesus returns on the very last day of the world which eliminates the possibility of a Millennium period BEFORE these things take place.

Jesus tells us in John 6:39, 40, 44, 54; John 11:24 & John 12:48 that He is coming on the Last Day of the world. That is the SAME DAY that the Wrath of God takes place. That's why it is called the Lord's (Jesus') Day.

These verses coincide perfectly with the Matt. and Isaiah verses above.

"A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, ..."

    Joel 2:2

"The earth shall quake ... the heavens shall tremble: the sun and moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army: for the Day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"

    Joel 2:10-11

"...let the Bridegroom go forth of His chamber, and the bride out of her closet. (this is Jesus returning for His saints on the same day as the Wrath of God/Day of the Lord - coincides perfectly with Matt. 24:29-31)

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible Day of the Lord come."

    Joel 2:31

There is no place for 1,000 yrs between Jesus' return and the Wrath of God. It does not fit.

    John 12:32

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

    See Numbers 21:8 and 21:9

I don't need to defend this. I just remembered something from 30 years ago. That's all. Even Wesley agrees:

    Numbers 21:8

A fiery serpent - That is, the figure of a serpent in brass, which is of a fiery colour. This would require some time: God would not speedily take off the judgment, because he saw they were not throughly humbled. Upon a pole - That the people might see it from all parts of the camp, and therefore the pole must be high, and the serpent large. When he looketh - This method of cure was prescribed, that it might appear to be God's own work, and not the effect of nature or art: and that it might be an eminent type of our salvation by Christ. The serpent signified Christ, who was in the likeness of sinful flesh, though without sin, as this brazen serpent had the outward shape, but not the inward poison, of the other serpents: the pole resembled the cross upon which Christ was lifted up for our salvation: and looking up to it designed our believing in Christ.

    Hi Dennis.

    Ephesians 6:12.

Just wanted to bring clarity to what I posted and what has been presented. I used 2 Corinthians 4:4. You see the work of Satan that hinders the mind of most of the world.

All the blessings mentioned in the other post is offered to the "whole world" but few will receive it. Mathew 7:13-14.

The Lord is calling a people OUT of the world."His Church" starting with the Apostles who was to be a whiteness but to be separate from the world where Satan is the prince.

Here is just a few scripture references of the Lord and our relationship to the world as we stand.

    John 17:9-16.

    John 12:31.

    1 John 2:15-17.

    John 1:6-12.

In Revelation-12:9. Scripture says Satan deceives the whole world. You see by then the church is taken out of the world Gods children Will be with him, They're children of the light. Satan is the ruler of darkness. Ephesians 6:12.

When a person is not born again "Born from above", He is what is called "In the flesh" and that flesh is controlled by principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness. His father is the prince of this world! Satan rules in his heart.

The Lord came to give you a NEW heart and a new spirit as he promised the Jews in Ezekiel 36:26-27.

    More references:

Beginning with Luke 4:5-7. Here you see Satan tries to temp Jesus to bypass the cross where he will bruise Satans head and have the final climax in Revelation.

Did you notice, Jesus never refuted satans claim?

This is why Paul stated this in Romans 8:19-22.

This is why Abraham pitched tents looking for a land who's maker is God.

Peter says we are strangers and pilgrims.

When Christ come set up his literal kingdom he will rule with a rod of iron and rule in mans heart.

    That has not happened yet.

    God bless.

    John 12:26 KJV

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. AmenHere the Lord Jesus does not mention women but says. (any man).

YOU BETTER READ THE SCRIPTURES CAREFULLY BECAUSE YOU ASSUME WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CLAIM TO SAY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS INSTEAD OF ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFIC SCRIPTURES AS IT IS WRITTEN IN

    John 12:23 KJVS

[23] And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

    John 12:22,26 KJV

[22] Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. [26] If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Jesus was talking to the Philip, and Andrew as only men except women in John 12:23. There are other scriptures of

    John 12:25 KJV

[25] He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Jesus said to them that represents that He is male except She is female because that is exactly what Jesus pointed to any man with quotes as "He"except any woman with quotes "She" that "He" that loveth his life shall lose it; and "he" that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

The Biblical word "He" means male or man that is called MANKIND

THE BIBLICAL WORD "SHE" IS FEMALE OR WOMAN THAT MEANS WOMANKIND

    Leviticus 18:22 KJVS

[22] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

    1 Corinthians 11:3-5 KJV

[3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. [4] Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. [5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

    EVERY MAN AND EVERY WOMAN
  • Free - In Reply - 3 years ago
Hi Firmvictara69 in peace. False teaching. I know of many women who do service. Even virgins of both men and women. Most recently today it is mentioned in John 12:3 In Jesus Holy Name. Then Mary took a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

And in the verses afterwards, the one who was to betray Jesus growls.

So we know that the woman is not seen as highly placed in the Christian ranks. Also with the Taliban, and other groupies. Religious people are the worst thing on earth. I will mention to you something very serious. If the man does not have the ability to lead his family. Thees menn destroy the whole family as well.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Amen

Here the Lord Jesus does not mention women but says. (any man).

Be blessed in His Holy Name Jesus Christ. Wich u a good day and hopefully u have this note in a book which is to yourself. It is not a sermon in any case.

:) you found a word that many Christians have comforted themselves with. And has been on many a treaty extradition. And so true, it says that He loved the world. But I would suggest to you dear friend that in such contexts when one does not understand everything in a verse, one must read what is around. Then you will see the composition of the Bible verse. Please read the entire chapter. John 3. Stay blessed in His Holy Name.

John 12:35Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. Amen

Dear friend, always be ready for the good cause of the Lord. Trust Him to deliver you in all situations. Always have good intentions and force yourself to obey the Holy Spirit. Then you are doing the right thing. Fast and pray with sincerity. He notices you. Do you want to serve Him, or yourself? He demands all of you dear ones. This is where we fall short. But then we have Jesus and lean on. He who went through the heavens for my sake and yours. He who was crucified on Calvary and went down into the realm of the dead and released the prisoners. His Holy blood that had to flow once and for all. Here is the focal point of believing in Him, and wanting to sincerely serve Him.

John 12:35Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, let darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

Remember that we also live only a short time here on earth compared to Eternity. So it is important that we look for the Light when we have the opportunity. Light is Jesus. Let your yes be Yes and your no be No. And do not so much and big, because the more i at least think it will be wrong. Because i can not think like God. But i seek and want to understand His will. For He has bigger thoughts always bigger than mine. Everything i think and create builds in my life will perish that day i go too the Lord Jesus. But what you build in the Holy Ghost will live forever in Jesus Christ becouse of His eternal sacrifice at Calvary. Because of that, He will always be King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His Name Is Holy Forever. Come soon Lord Jesus. Amen

    Hi Adam

I'm not interested in what you belief but I am interested in what the true belief is according to the word of God. If you are interested I am willing to discuss with you according to the scriptures. I realize this can be a very touchy subject but I believe it is very important to have a true understanding about God.

You mentioned about the word Bible and the word trinity and that neither of them is mentioned in the book we call the Bible. The word Bible is describing a book that we believe God is the author of where the word trinity is describing God. These are two totally different things. There are probably a number of things we could call the book that is called the Bible. But I think we would be in agreement as concerning of the book we call the Bible. The thing is that if the author didn't use the word trinity to describe himself we need to be very careful using words that he didn't use. I agree that just because something isn't in the bible doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered. I believe there is a unity in the bible which involves not only God and Jesus Christ but all true believers.

One of the passages you used is 1 John 5:7 This passage is not used in later versions. Why? But for argument sake lets say it should be there. What is it actually saying? They are one. One in thought and one in action. Jesus did exactly as his father wanted him to do. That verse in itself is not enough to prove what you are saying. It proves unity between the father and the son. John 1:1 again proves that Jesus did everything his father wanted him to do. The verses in Genesis shows God and his angels at work in the creation and John 10:30 again shows the unity between The Lord Jesus Christ and God. I would go one but I'm running out of space. I'd like to show you a few passages to consider.

    1 Tim 2:5, John 5:19,30 John 7:16, John 12:49

    Thanks for your time

    I wish everyone look through 20-40 pages of Past Room History and count how many comments were about: Sabbath, Water Baptism or dates of Jesus's birth or death;

There are a lot of end time events happening today. They coincide with events in Daniel, some minor prophets, what Jesus, Peter, Paul, John the Beloved spoke of.

Israel is barely 10 miles wide. Joggers can run it forward and back every day; if not for tunnels, drones, snipers, etc. Things the Jews dig up almost every day. Do we pray for their wonder and excitement to find that maybe Jesus is/was their Messiah? The Palestinians are searching for the Mahdi to be revealed? They hemorrhage on YouTube every day, which group is going to fight another group and then March on Israel.

These are (wars and rumors of wars). We'd do well to keep an ear to the ground. Tracking earthquakes, disasters, financial shifting, are other SIGNS.

We are admonished to watch and pray, be looking up; be ready (10 virgins) AND TO SPOT THE SIGN: the Temple Built, and a world leader sitting on the Throne of David.THE ABOMINATION of DESOLATION.

Take Syria. Word says they will be totally destroyed to the ground. China and Russia may use the restored Silk Road for trade, ship oil or troops.

There are so many other inspiring stories in the Bible. Like when Nehemiah rebuilt the walls. Those things parallel to Intercessory Prayer; watch towers; spiritual warfare. I always try to make sure I keep my eye on Jesus who is interceding for the Saints. Do we truly Love Him well?

    Feed My Sheep. John 21:14-22

Jesus is asking all of us that same question.

I say this with great humility and soberness: Jesus says, feed my sheep; carry my lambs in you arms of prayers. Lift up the fallen. The body of Christ is separated from the Head. Let's get connected. Anything we do for self__is FLESH.

If I offended anyone, I'm not going to stroke any egos (including mine). Lift up Jesus.

    Gerard,

Traditions and holidays in Christianity have pagan influences that are with us today, and it is up to us individually what we do we do, we live, and we die unto the Lord. Your concern on the day Jesus was crucified, you are right, three days and three nights do not fit with Friday. What day of the week fits and are there scriptures that show what day it was?

We know Jesus rose on the first day of the week and it was before sunrise, Luke 24:1 Mark 16:9 John 20:1. The first day starts sundown on the Sabbath day the seventh day, so it was after the sun went down on the seventh day while it was still dark.

In John 12:1, he writes six days before Passover, Jesus in Bethany, and John 12:12-16 the next day Jesus rode into Jerusalem. This would be 5 days before Passover and with Jesus fulfilling this feast it would be the tenth of Nisan when the lambs were taken up Exodus 12:1-6. We call this Palm Sunday. The Passover day is on the 14th which is a preparation day for the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a Sabbath day, Exodus 12:15-16.

So, if Sunday is the tenth, Mon. 11th, Tue 12th, Wed. 13th, Thur. 14th, Passover day, the day Jesus was crucified. Friday a Sabbath that John called a high day, John 19:31, Saturday a weekly Sabbath two Sabbaths back-to-back. If it was on a Friday, it's like you said, it does not fit, if it was any other day like Sun. Mon. Tue. Wed. the women could have gone to the tomb before the weekly Sabbath with the spices for Jesus' body.

If you would like I can give the scriptures that cover what Jesus did each day after he rode into Jerusalem, it matches as well.

    Hope this helps.

    God bless,

    John 11:55, Mark 14:12, John 6:4, Luke 22:1,

    John 12:1,12,13, John 13:1-2,

    Matthew 27:15,

1st Sabbath being the Passover feast.

    Exodus 12,

    2nd Sabbath Matthew 28:1,

Psalms 81:3, also significant Mark 15:33, total solar Eclipse, New moon?

We should be careful not to follow after traditions set up by men, but Study to understand. Colossians 2:8, Matthew 15:3, Mark 7:9

Why would Jesus rebuke them over tradition? Because even today it causes doubt, & confusion amongst the church.

Hopefully these scriptures are helpful. GOD's WORD is truth.

    Tradition is not 100% reliable.

Brother Earl. You stated the following: "they don't BELIEVE that ALL MEN are God's CHURCH". I don't believe it either. God's Church, or Christ's Church, comprise only those saved by the Blood of the Lamb. If they include the wicked & unrepentant as well as those entering into salvation & its blessings with unbelief in their hearts, then that brings shame on Christ's Work towards salvation & makes the Cross meaningless. If Christ "draws all men unto Him", then the only ones who are accepted of the Father are those of whom He spoke, "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." ( John 12:47,48). And God's Judgement is certain, final, & eternal - no second chances to those who die without Christ ( Hebrews 9:27; Hebrews 10:27-29).

"Judah was the only one that had five brothers, so this (reference in Luke 16:27,28) was addressed to the house of JUDAH, creation is the PROMISED SEED of the house of JUDAH." If the reference is to Judah's five brothers, then what is Judah doing sitting in hell in torments? Hopefully, the Jews didn't realize that Jesus was talking about Judah in hell & his five brothers about to enter there as well.

"since Christ is the church, and Christ is creation's brother". Not sure how you work out that Christ is creation's brother. Christ is indeed the Church ( Colossians 1:18,24), but He is also the Creator without familial relationship to His Creation ( Colossians 1:15-17). He does love His creation, but the only brothers He has, are those whom He has purchased with His Own Blood ( Acts 20:28).

Please read these scriptures: John 7:1-53, Mark 2:1-28,

This discussion came up Holidays 2019, there was hatred towards not wearing masks in donut shop Southern California 80-90 degrees near beach. Teenager asked "wouldn't Jesus just be nice" then it hit me with fire inside my spirit. I replied "Jesus would be the first to bring alarm!" "If they were going to arrest people for getting too close, touching the sick, HE'd probably be first" I could envision HIM hugging & healing people & upsetting the "norm" as "enforcers" would say "HE isn't allowed to do that."

    Luke 13:1-17, Luke 13:20-35, * Mark 3:1-6,9,10, *

Hypocrisy of crowds, sporting events, parades, but Jesus crowds? Mark 2:2, hypocrisy= John 19:31, Luke 4:14-44,

not wearing masks, HE'd probably be taking them off, elderly & children 1st. Would the creator of man, mankind, want them breathing carbondioxide, weaking their lungs, hiding HIS glory? 2 Corinthians, 1 John 1:1, seeking to save themselves? Luke 17:33, Matthew 16:35, Luke 8:35, John 12:25, Matthew 6:25

    Luke 6:1-19,

John 9:1-7 can you imagine? criminal charges today?

+ HE actually gave commands to heal the sick, Matthew 10:8, Luke 10:9, Acts 4:28-30,

"The saddest thing about all the hate, meaness, is when this is over, people will remember how badly they were treated" "let's try to remember that & be kind"

    Matthew 25:39

It's almost 2022. Those mandates have caused division, job loss, depression etc., yet what proof of any good?

To further answer your question: I have been in much prayer about it & I do not take lightly any scripture. I believe in USA we are a "Nation under GOD" being The People we are the ones with the Governing authority as per The Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution & all States Constitutions. The people putting forth "Mandates" know they have not authority to call them "laws" they are therefore those that "resist the power & Ordinances of GOD" & the Higher power is GOD.

    Hopefully these are helpful.

    * John 11:1-8, John 11:1-45

Brother Earl, Brother Adam, I believe this is an important issue to discuss. Perhaps it is the HOLY Spirit that is having us gather here together to discuss this.

I'm only addressing the two of you by name (right now) because you are both correct (on most) of these issues & today Earl I think people do need to know & address; there are differences in eternity & grave. Today the world faces many issues & decisions that lead to the grave. (I have lost many loved ones, from decisions that led to destruction, ultimately the grave) examples smoking, addictions, drinking etc.) we today have sugar flooding our foods & obesity even in medical practice. The biggest discussion in society, religion & political is actually right in line with 'which destruction?' "death', immunization, etc. Luke 9:25, Mark 8:36, John 12:25, Matthew 16:26,

I would like eveyones input on= What do feel the LORD leading us to discuss about the differences? Where our focuses should be? How do we discuss people making bad health choices?

Please even address this Matthew 15:19, if you would.

I would like to grow some in understanding.
