Why not all people come to salvation today

john 12:37-40 therefore they could not believe, because esaias (god's words on his tongue) saith .....

luke 22:67 art thou the christ? tell us. and he said (god's word's) unto them, if i tell you, ye will not believe.

these words came out of god's mouth and god said his words would not return unto him void.

    isaiah 55:11

philippians 1:9 for unto you it is given in the behalf of christ, not only to believe on him ....

no one can believe unless god's causes them to believe.

john 6:29 .....this is the work of god, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent....

2 thessalonians 2:11 and for this cause (unbelief) god shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

2 timothy 2:13 if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

luke 3:13 ... exact no more than that which is appointed to you.

jeremiah 46:17 ....pharaoh king of egypt, is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed.

psalms 102:20 to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those appointed to death.

job 23 :14 for he performeth the thing that is appointed for me.....

1 peter 2:8 a stone of stumbling, a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient, whereunto they were also appointed.

there but by the grace of god, go i.

satan's spiritual relationship with antichrist parallels that of God to Jesus.

-God's Spirit is counterfeited by satan spirit

-Jesus' Spirit is counterfeited by antichrist spirit

-Holy Ghost is counterfeited by the false prophet spirit

    1) Jesus's ministry was 42 months

To: ( Revelation 13:5) antichrist receives 42 months

    2) ( Revelation 1:8)

    To ( Revelation 17:8)

    3) ( Revelation 5:6)

    To: ( Revelation 13:3)

The three evil spirits that God had stricken us with, to prove us, are gone. ( Revelation 16:13) ( Revelation 19:20) ( Revelation 20:10). It is the dragon (satan) the boss that gets locked up for 1,000 years..

Below is conclusive "mirroring" evidence of the spirit world hierarchy:

( Daniel 8:24) And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

"but not by his own power" as that power comes from the dragon, given from God.

( Revelation 13:2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

"the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority". satan gives power to antichrist, antichrist is the son of satan, but antichrist is not satan. antichrist is under the possession of satan.

( Titus 2:13) Many scriptures point to Jesus being God, but this hierarchy evidence can't be overlooked. Jesus told his adversaries all along who he was, but they didn't have the wherewithal to grasp it, Jesus continually said His power was not of His own, but of the Father. The theologians argue this paradox out to contention.

( John 5:19) ...The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do....

( John 12:49) For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me....

James. Indeed, "God (the Word) was in Christ" - none can doubt that Truth, as Jesus only spoke what was given to Him of the Father. And yes, "God put his words in the mouth of his Son". John 12:49,50: "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." Also John 8:28, etc.

Therefore, there can be no argument on that score as Jesus spoke those words as the Son of God. But the question remains: where was Jesus before His appearance on the Earth, coming as a Babe, born of a woman? And this is the difficulty with many: how can this human Jesus have a pre-existence? How can God's spoken Word even be made into flesh? And then we could & should also ask: How can God send out His Spirit to accomplish His Will on Earth if God is One, not two, three or more? It seems reasonable to understand that if God can issue out His Spirit (from within Himself) to do a Work, so can He issue out His Word (from within Himself) to bring it to His people. This He did through the prophets of old, but "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds" ( Heb 11:2).

Leaving aside John 1, Heb 11:2 tells us that God's Son brought God's Word & this Son is heir of all things & through WHOM God created the worlds. This is written plainly: that God's Word was made flesh to bring God's Word (and we know why He had to be man). Is it because you cannot envisage that a Word from God can be given flesh? Is not "God able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham?" Are Jesus' Words, "Before Abraham was, I am", have any significance to the pre-incarnate Jesus Christ? Let us not limit the Power of God by our weak human understanding & perceptions. I would be interested in how you would interpret these Scriptures.

    Hi Bob,

Obviously you took my post incorrectly. I'll try using Scriptures again.

I never said Christ and the Father was not a relationship. You brought this up. I never said Christ is the Father or the Father is Christ as it seems you took it. I know it's a Father Son relationship. Again John 10:30, John 14:11, John 17:21. Revelation 3:21. For a couple.

Some say the Father being in Christ means He left Heaven. God spoke from Heaven several times proving that false. Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5, John 12:28.

Here are a couple stating the Spirit of Truth or Holy Ghost as He/Him: John 14:17, John 14:26. Putting the three in ONE as in 1 John 5:7.

As I've been trying to answer your questions though you seemed to have veered from mine. No one knows the depths and ways of God. He can do anything He wants. Isaiah 40:28, Isaiah 55:8-9. Just like giving all His power and authority to His Son so we honor Him just as we honor the Father. Matthew 28:18, John 5:22-23. Not knowing your beliefs on this but no one can say Christ did not exist before He was born here. Christ Himself stated this and there are other Scriptures that back this up also. John 17:4-5. All I do is use the Scriptures. I have no private interpretation as that is not what the Scriptures are for. 2 Peter 1:20.

Nothing is falling apart for me. I've given you many Scriptural verses as I have not seen one from you. Also I really don't even know your motive for making the first post the other night. The reason I made the reply is because you said something about a "man made trinity doctrine". Which I showed you is not man made it's Biblical.

Still not getting into how many titles the Father and Son share. Not knowing if it would make any difference to you.

I'm not here to argue and don't take my post that way please. You may have your own view.

Again as I hope I've answered your questions. I'll just leave the one again.

Do you believe the Scriptures I've posted?

    Thank you. God Bless.

I agree, when Christ speaks....the words come from God his Father. Amen.

    John 12:49

"For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak."

    John 14:10

"Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

    Paving the Way

    -

Two thousand years, or so, ago

    Jerusalem rejoiced

for all the future hopes they had

    at last were being voiced.

    -

    The King had ridden into town;

    a donkey was His ride.

They laid their clothes before Him and

    "Hosanna!" they all cried.

    -

To make His travel smoother, they

    put palms along His way.

    To them, these branches symbolized

    a victory that day.

    -

They hoped that He would free them from

    the Romans' rule for good.

It's true, He came to free them, but

    they all misunderstood.

    -

They had it wrong when He once asked

"Who do you say I am?"

They all were thinking lion when

He came to be a lamb.

    -

When He was crucified, then rose,

    there was no gleeful throng.

They thought their hopes were ended, and

Thank God that they were wrong.

    -

The King for which they paved the way

    with branches where He trod

had paved the way for all our souls

    to reconcile with God.

    -

We just began to have a chance

    to enter Heaven's gate.

The King has paved the way for us,

    so let us celebrate.

    Chris,

Also, we can look at Philippians 2:6 which says, Who (Referring to Jesus), being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

2 Corinthians 4:4 says, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

There is a word in the Greek text that can be defined as the out beam, or radiance of God's glory. It is the word APOUGASMA. It is a word used to describe Christ, being the out beam of God's glory.

I like to imagine shining a flashlight on a wall in a pitch-black room. The light I see on the wall is Christ. But if I were to take that same flashlight and point it at my eyes, its brightness would be so great that it would blind me. Thus, our image of the Divine Glory of God is enlightened and more vivid by the beauty of the scriptures!

I believe what the inspired writer of Hebrews wanted his readers to draw is apparent and fitting. Christ is the "effulgence" of God's glory ( Hebrews 1:3) because as the Word, He became flesh so that the grace and truth of God's glory could be seen by all ( John 1:14,17-18).

Jesus is the true light that radiates forth prevailing over all shades of darkness ( John 1:5). Just as no one can stare directly into the beam of the flashlight or spotlight without being blinded by the extreme brightness, in like manner, none can see the Father because of His Divine Glory.

But, as the light of the flashlight shines forth from the bulb revealing its essence, Jesus shines forth as the visible manifestation by which the knowledge of the glory of God is declared to all ( John 1:14,18; 2 Corinthians 4:6). For he who sees Jesus beholds the Father! ( John 12:45; 14:9,10).

    Thanks Chris!

The leaders in the time of Jesus were wicked pretenders of religion and Jesus exposed their hypocrisy:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. ( Matthew 23:15)

And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. ( Luke 11:39)

Jesus was perceived as a threat to the religious leaders so they conspired to kill him:

Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. ( John 11:47-48)

Even Pilate saw through their facade:

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. ( Mark 15:9-10)

The great wonder of this is that God knew all this and worked it all together to provide the needed sacrifice for our sins through his Son Jesus Christ:

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. ( Acts 2:23-24)

Hi, Stewart, This is hard to show in a short post but here goes. Good Friday has been a tradition for many years. If we go back to the 1st Passover which this Passover should match the lamb was taken up on the 10th of Nisan and sacrificed on the 14th. We must keep in mind the Jewish day begins and ends at sundown. Jesus fulfilled the feast of Passover so, it was the same as the first. We see in John 12:1 Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. The next day Jesus rode into Jerusalem. That would be 5 days until Passover that would be as called today Palm Sunday, Sun.10th of Nisan, the next day Mon.11th, Tue.12th, Wed.13th, Thur.14th of Nisan the Passover day. The next day is Fri the 15th the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread which is a holy day.

Jesus said he would be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. Some say Fri, Sat, Sun. on the third day. Ok, first we know Jesus was crucified on Passover day but Passover day is also a preparation day for the Feast of Unleavened Bread because that is a holy day and no work could be done except to eat. John called it a high day. When the sun went down Wednesday13th it became Passover day the night of the Lord's Supper. In the garden, the betrayal, arrest, trial, and crucifixion all were done before the sun went down that started the 15th, the night they ate the Passover. Remember the days start and end at sundown.

Fri.day15th=1day Sat. night16th=1night Sat. day16th =1day Sun, night17th =1night all equal 2 days and 2 nights Jesus rose before the sun came up.

Thur. day=1day Fri. night=1night Fri.day=1day Sat night =1night=1night Sun night=1night Jesus rose befor the sun came up. All = 3 days and 3 nights.

I hope this was not too confusing but if you read in Exodus the first Passover will help. Many think they ate the Passover meal on the 14th but it was eaten the night of the 15th, that is part of the confusion. Ron

Hello Clarence. Ephesians 2:8 . Being saved is an act of faith , believing that Jesus is Gods son, that he lived a sinless life and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin and rose again the third day and ascended into Heaven! You except these truths from the Bible , and your sins will be forgiven , and you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, you will become a new creature ,and will one day live in Heaven for all eternity! Matthew 10:32

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

    Luke 12:8

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

    Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    1 John 4:15

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

    John 12:42

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

    Romans 14:11

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

    Philippians 2:11

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    2 John 1:7

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

    Romans 15:9

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

    John 9:22

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

  • Theo - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
As we can see in Genesis 1, the earth and darkness(sky) and waters were existed even though there's no mention that God had created them. Thus, the creation of the heavens and the earth in verse 1 let us know that God re-created the heavens and the earth when they already had existed.

If the light of the first day was the sun, what's the sun of the fourth day(the greater light, Gen 1:16)? And the evening and the morning were the first day, how could there be the morning before the sun was created of the fourth day? Thus it doesn't make sense if we interpret the light literally. The Light that God searched on earth was the pastor who had the word of truth and whom God was pleased with(ref. Jeremiah 3:15). Jesus said, 'I have come as a light into the world ( John 12:46),' "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.( John 8:12)." And God said about Jesus who is the light, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"

God chooses a pastor to light up the darkness. Darkness means ignorant spirit(ref. 1 Thessalonians 5:48). There was only darkness before the light was existed on the first day. However, the light, the pastor who had the word of truth appeared, and the truth and untruth were divided. Just as natural light divides darkness and light, night and day.

When there are full of dark spirits due to ignorance, choosing a possessor of truth as light is the first thing that God does when He starts re-creation. God chose pastors whom He was pleased with( Jeremiah 3:15), such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, and He was with them and created new world.

It doesn't matter with any specific fruit species on the sixth day What we can know is that God gave the people He created, every herb that yields seed and tree whose fruit yields seed as food. Thus people became the lord of the creation and heir of God's work.

May it be the joyous journey for you!

David, thank you again. I do agree with your understanding of sin, that it encompasses more than obedience to the Ten Commandments, though many 'Christians' today think nothing of uttering an expletive or telling a 'white' lie, considering that to be normal. Also, I agree with your example 1, in dealing with the entrance of sin into the mind ( James 1:15). Your example 2 (not Exodus 2, I assume), on Judas, I see differently. Judas already had sin in his heart as keeper of the purse ( John 12:3-6), being recorded as a thief as he probably dipped into it often. So sin was already there - Satan came to tempt him, sin revived & Satan gained another notch. As for Judas & the rest of the disciples, I never considered them to be saved - they were carnal men, moved by God to follow Jesus, to believe in His Message, & to await that day of Pentecost when they would be truly transformed & be born again.

However, sins like that of Judas, where contemplation & decision to act are necessary for sin to be the outcome, are not always so well defined. The other day while at the traffic lights, a driver went through a red light but the car going through the green light managed to brake in time. My immediate thought (& look on my face) was one of shock & anticipation of the worst - soon followed by a sense of loathing & mental derision of that driver. I did not have time to contemplate my response - it came out in an instant & sadly a response that was sin as it wasn't in keeping with how a life holy to the Lord would behave. No one witnessed my sin - but God did. So there would be times in our lives when we may not be able to make a decision to not sin, but yes, our lives should be so fine-tuned so as not to respond the way I did.

John 12: 28-30 the voice in Heaven indicated that a special event will take place in the future--that is God's name will be glorified again in the future just like Jesus glorified God name by doing all the work that God asked him to go and do it on earth.

Jesus indicated clearly that the voice that came from heaven is not for him but for the people. this means that people must not confused when similar things happen in the future (out time). This prevent the people from confused in case they confused just like they did when Jesus came down on earth when they think Jesus is just the son of Maria and Joseph.

The most recent comments are confirmation what spirit you are of and the spirt you serve ( Luke 9:55; John 8:34).

There are not too many songs being heard in Eastern Canada, similar to California, but for different reasons. People that make their livelihood of the leading industries have their food basket slowly taken away. China has closed the borders to most products (e.g. lobster) and farmers have little to harvest as a result of the severe drought. The rural communities have been dying for the last ten years and the list of businesses that are closing is staggering. It is clear by your comments that you do not know what 'sin' is. It is not an act as you have been made to believe, but rather the 'fruit of the natural man' and is the very reason we urge you to repent. It means to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

Hospitals are a 'stronghold' ( 2 Cor. 10:4) of Satan's divided kingdom and his world ( Matthew 12:26; Luke 4:6; 11:18; John 12:31; 14:30; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2; 6:12; 1John 3:8) and the love you speak of is the love of the world and we know that you have not the love of God in you ( John 5:42).

So our message will remain the same: ye must repent.

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

    In His Service.

"The doctrine of Jesus Christ is the word of the heavenly Father. The doctrine of the Son and the testimony of the Holy Spirit is above (excels) all the teachings of the prophets, and it contains all that is necessary and conducive to salvation.

Nor can the will of the heavenly Father be found anywhere so clearly as in the words of Jesus Christ, by whom he has in these last days spoken, made known his will, and fully expressed it; hence all that is contrary, or not conformable, to the words of Christ, is not God's word or will; for "no other foundation can be laid, than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ"

    Revelation 3:5

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

    Romans 15:9

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

    John 9:22

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

    1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you bought a 60 inch screen tv, you'd read the owners manual wouldn't you?

You'd want to know what that tv can do?

Same thing. The Bible is the Owners Manual (Jesus). These following scriptures are enough to show that you need to come to know what you have.

Desire the pure milk of the Word. Strong meat belongs to them that are exercised in their faith.

    Matthew 11:29

Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

    John 12:26

If any man serve me, let him FOLLOW me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

    Mark 12:24

And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because YE KNOW NOT the scriptures, neither the power of God?

    Luke 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, that they MIGHT UNDERSTAND the scriptures,

    Matthew 22:29

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, NOT UNDERSTANDING the scriptures, nor the power of God.

    Luke 4:21

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

    John 20:9

For as yet THEY KNEW NOT the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Comment: strong meat makes your hair stand on end, your eyes wide and mouth drop, saying: WOW!!

The Lord Jesus Christ is the light that will drive the darkness away.

    He says:

"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" ( John 8:12).

"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness" ( John 12:46).

He laid down his life on the cross and shed his blood to pay the penalty of all our sins. Then he was raised from the dead and ascended to the throne of God to plead with God our Father on our behalf ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Hebrews chapter 2; 1 John chapter 2).

He has given us power by the gift of the Holy Ghost:

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust ( 2 Peter 1:2-4).

If you draw near to God (only by Jesus Christ) the devil has no hold on you:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ( James 4:7).

    Sharelle,

The believers do not entangle themselves in the affairs of this life ( 2 Timothy 2:4). This current world is Satan' kingdom ( Matthew 12:26; Luke 4:6; 11:18; John 12:31; 14:30; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2; 6:12; 1 John 3:8). In fact, for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith ( 1John 5:4).

Seek, and ye shall find (Mathew 7:7).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

Ephesians 4:18 - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Matthew 13:14-15 - And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall NOT PERCEIVE.

Proverbs 28:13-14 - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them, shall have mercy.

Hebrews 3:8 - Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Mark 8:17 - And when Jesus knew [it], he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Exodus 9:12 - And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

Exodus 7:3 - And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

John 12:48 - He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Mishael : It takes Spiritual Warfare to free a person to hear Gods Word. See sermons on YouTube, about that. See Ephesians 6. Don't let the devil scare you. He knows Jesus stripped him of his authority to steal souls. Watch some Charles Capps videos too so you will understand your authority through the Blood of Jesus.

    Hello Jose,

Yours is not a foolish question, but complex to many and controversial to fools. It is fools who engender strife and show they are ignorant time and time again

In verse 28, Jesus was not giving an order but was urging in this context. It is no different to you or someone strongly encouraging a parent to buy this, or choose that, or do something that seems obviously good. This said, it does not negate the concept of the Trinity because it supports the tenet that the son is not the father, but that also the son is equally God as some will argue that Jesus did give an order

In verse 30, the voice was a witness to the crowd so that they will recall it during or after the crucifixion and be encouraged out of their fear and doubts that it was really the Messiah with them. Therefore, it was a prophecy for their sake

If any man lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives it liberally , but let him ask in faith .

    Foolish questions gender strife .
  • Jose Sanchez on John 12:30 - 4 years ago
I have a great question , when the Lord Jesus said: "Father glorify thy name" , did Jesus give an order to the Father? , but this can't be, because Jesus said , "my father is greater than I"

And the verse "this voice came not because of me , but for your sakes". What does it mean?

I hope to get an answer.

    Have a nice day.

Jesus said otherwise in the Bible. Luke 19:10, Acts 17:26, John 12:46 - he came to save the lost of all people, not just who you claim are your 'own people'. Why do you care about skin color so much? Why not eye color? Why not height or weight? We're all individuals of equal value, not members of fictional political tribes. Satan is deceiving people into believing they are unequal and trying to divide everyone and some are believing the lie.

Lamentations 4:7 - you know Jesus was from Nazareth, right? This says they're white so that counterbalances the assumption that because someone's hair is like wool it must be black. Other races can have wool-like hair too. There's plenty of hair variety within the races.
