    Brother Rick,

Amen to that! Jesus was teaching His disciples about humility. History tells us that household slaves did the job of foot washing, but not a Hebrew or Jewish person. Even if a Hebrew or Jewish person was a slave, they did not lower themselves to wash someone's feet.

Now can you imagine Jesus getting ready to wash the disciples' feet, and that it was a shame and an embarrassment for a Hebrew slave to do that task? It had to be somebody else other than a Hebrew slave that would wash the guests' feet.

So now here's Jesus approaching Simon Peter in Matthew 13:6, and He's getting ready to wash Peter's feet. And Peter wasn't having anything to do with it. In Peter's mind, he's probably thinking that Jesus, being a Jew, he cannot wash anyone's feet. That's the job of a slave, a servant. Peter says in verse 8 "You shall never wash my feet."

Peter is not trying to be rebellious. He is trying to be courteous in the sense that first of all, no Jew should be washing anyone's feet! But Jesus Himself, the Master, the Rabbi is doing it? Peter says "You are never going to wash my feet." Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

So Jesus is teaching humility. Jesus is taking the "low-road" in the form of a servant. And as you say, Jesus is setting the example on how they will need to love and serve each other when He's gone. Jesus says in John 13:15, "For I have given you an (example), that ye should do as I have done to you.

What I notice is that Jesus did not say that you should do "what I have done" to you, but you should do "as I have done" to you. He is saying that I took the position and function, the menial task, the lowest task that even a Jewish or Hebrew person would not even do, even if they were a slave, and this is what you are to do for one another. Humility!

Our brothers and sisters in Christ must come first, even before ourselves. That's what it's all about!

    John 11:55, Mark 14:12, John 6:4, Luke 22:1,

    John 12:1,12,13, John 13:1-2,

    Matthew 27:15,

1st Sabbath being the Passover feast.

    Exodus 12,

    2nd Sabbath Matthew 28:1,

Psalms 81:3, also significant Mark 15:33, total solar Eclipse, New moon?

We should be careful not to follow after traditions set up by men, but Study to understand. Colossians 2:8, Matthew 15:3, Mark 7:9

Why would Jesus rebuke them over tradition? Because even today it causes doubt, & confusion amongst the church.

Hopefully these scriptures are helpful. GOD's WORD is truth.

    Tradition is not 100% reliable.

    Hi James.

I Agree with the disciple "Is one who follows ones teachings.

Look how that is supposed to look like from the rest of the world.

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

( BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER. )

This is a Love we can't manifest in the flesh. It's a Love we can't do on our own.

    God bless.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea, and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

    Acts 1:8

Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part in me.

    John 13:6-8

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Excepta man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

    John 3:5

And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Phillip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

    Acts 8:38

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Phillip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

    Acts 8:39

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

    Ephesians 5:26

Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

    Acts 10:47

But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

    John 19:34

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

    1 John 5:6

In that day shall the branch of the LORD ne beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even ecery one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Acts 16:33, in context Acts 16:27-34

Acts 16:15 in context Acts 16:14-15

    Acts 18:8

    1 Corinthians 3:3

    John 13:35

    Hebrews 10:25

    James 1:27

Please note the scriptures I've listed & pray about what I'm about to say. I once witnessed 2 children who asked to be baptized by the Lead Pastor, they were skipped over, another Pastor replaced the old one & once again those 2 children a boy & a girl asked to be baptized. That Pastor also asked them questions on the Bible, doctrine, taught them a special class, privately then decided not to Baptize them. In a short time other youths were baptized & they were skipped over again. I watched as those two children served in the church, many days & even during the celebration of the others getting baptized. Whom was more like Christ? Later those 2 children were baptized without classes & with people who barely knew them. Please pray for wisdom.

    Matthew 19:14

If you judge to strictly remember :

    Matthew 7:2 , Matthew 7:1-5

Hi Louis. I believe that it was John who is referred to in John 19:26,27. Why I think this, is because in other places (e.g. John 13:23; John 20:2; John 21:20) John resorts to this expression "the disciple whom He loved" & speaking in such a manner was common when the focus was taken off oneself. We can also think of 2 Corinthians 12:1-7 as an example, where clearly the Apostle Paul is speaking of His experience of Heaven though not naming himself as the one.

Then in John 21:20-24, Peter questions Jesus about "what shall this man (?) do?" And then the brethren believed "that that disciple (?) should not die". Again, who is that disciple? John then says in verse 24, "This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true." Or, 'I am that disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things...". Therefore, we can say with all certainty that the disciple whom Jesus loved was indeed John, the Apostle who referred to himself as such.

    Hi Brother Spencer

Nice to hear from you. I'm glad to hear you say that you believe in the 10 commandments, and that you take them seriously. It's what God wants from us!

I agree, none of us will be able to be perfect, and keep the 10 commandments at all times, or remain perfectly sin free. That doesn't relieve us from trying, and when we fail, we can ask God for forgiveness through his son Jesus Christ. His sacrifice on the cross, is God's gift to us to allow us to obtain forgiveness of sin, not an excuse to say I believe and continue to sin!

You offer up this scripture: Matthew 22:36-40, and John 13:34-35, I agree, this is Jesus summarizing the 10 commandments, to Love God, and Love our nieghbor. So, if we believe these verses, then it's only logical that we should also believe all of the other scripture related to Jesus asking us to observe and try our best to keep the 10 commandments!

Many Christians today, including some on this site, seem to NOT believe they will be judged for keeping God's commandments and producing good works. I've previously submitted this scripture in some of my previous posts on this site. This scripture is (very powerful and enlightening) from Jesus speaking approximately 40 years after his death:

    Revelation 22:12-14

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

A simple question Brother Spencer, Do you believe this scripture above? Yes, or No?

    God Bless.

    Hi Brother Dan,

Sorry so late getting back to you, I'm traveling..

Now Addressing your questions to me. Yes I believe in the 10 Commandments and it seems I take them more seriously than you think, Maybe more seriously than you. I believe they are required and if you break even one of them once you are guilty of them all!! I also know no one ever have been able to keep them,

NOW WE COME TO CHRIST AND THE FINISHEDWORK ON THE CROSS.

In the context of my post did the Cross put an (total end )of sin in your life externally AND internally or Positionally? God is Holy and your righteous works have to be perfect!!

And yes every facet of the law with all ordinances and Commandments went together, It was called the ministration of Death, Study 2 Corinthians 3:6-18.

In true repentance you are admitting you fall short, A born again Christian has renewed desires to keep them, ( And by the Spirit he works towards doing so.)

But if we think one fraction of our filthy rags is atonement for our sins you just spotted your Garments!! ( White raiments).

Without Christ atonement you best not even lust in your heart and break one Commandment. AND THAT YOU CANNOT DO!.

The law pointed towards Christ because the 10 Commandments could never Change the inner Man.

Here's the center of the Lords Commandments. John 13:34-35.

    Study John ch 13, 14, and 15.

When you get to Ch 15 The Lord opens up with ( I AM THE "TRUE" VINE.) Contuary to Israel who was the vine that was supposed to bare fruit and who the law was written to.

    Note:

Matthew 22:36-40. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. YOU CAN'T DO THIS APART FROM CHRIST.

God bless. I will continue when I get back in town.

Me again.. after reading further in John.

More of what Jesus has to say about him and God the Father being one in the same:

    1. "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins."

    John 8:24 KJV

    2. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."

John 8:51 KJV - "This is another remarkable claim that only makes sense if Jesus is God, and is one with God the Father. Jesus promises eternal life to those who keep His word."

    3. "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."

John 8:58 KJV - "With this dramatic phrase Jesus told them that He was the eternal God, existing not only during the time of Abraham but before unto eternity past. Jesus claimed to be the great I AM, the voice of the covenant God of Israel revealed at the burning bush ( Exodus 3:13-14). This is the third time in this chapter Jesus uses the phrase I AM ( John 8:24, 8:28, 8:58) The ancient Greek phrase is ego emi, which was the same term used in the Greek translation of the Old Testament in Jesus' day to describe the Voice from the burning bush. In using the phrase I AM, Jesus used a clear divine title belonging to Yahweh alone ( Exodus 3:13-14, Deuteronomy 32:39, Isaiah 43:10) and was interpreted as such by Jesus' listeners ( John 8:58-59). "I AM was recognized by the Jews as a title of deity." (Tenney)"

    4. "Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he."

    John 13:19 KJV

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

I know how many perceive these verses and this is not to debate that, it is to show my understanding if someone wants to study it.

We see in ( John 13:1) this is right before the last Passover Jesus would attend before he would be crucified, and Jesus just then knew His hour had come. We see this by what He told them in ( Luke 22:14-16). We must keep in mind the things coming, Jesus being arrested, crucified, and His resurrection was hidden from the apostles until after His resurrection and He appeared to them.

When Adam sinned, sin filled the dwelling-place that God could no longer dwell in man and man could not dwell in God. The word mansions are the same word, Strong's 3438 mon meaning lodging, dwelling-place, room, abode, mansion. Jesus told them He was going to prepare a place for you. We know where He was going, the cross.

Jesus did prepare a place He gave is life, body, and blood and that dwelling place that Adam filled with sin, Jesus paid the price and now God through Jesus by the Holy Spirit, God can now dwell in man and man can dwell in God.

Jesus will return, His second coming and when all is new, we will forever be with Him.

God bless us, and our ears open.

The Sight of The True Church

" By this shall all men know that ye are My Disciples, if ye have love to one another." John 13:35

In God, love reaches its highest point and is the culmination of His glory. In the man Christ Jesus on the cross, love is at its highest. We owe everything to this love. Love is the power that moved Christ to die for us. In love, God highly exalted Him as Lord and Christ. Love is the power that broke our hearts, and love is the power that heals them. Love is the power through which Christ dwells in us and works in us.

Hallo dear friend in Jesus. Ty for your information and im so glad. Becouse u tell about the peace, the thru, the light and what christian supposed to do, who is not likely easy to live after. Understand me right, we have the Holy Spirit who tell us the law! Who tell us right things too do. Thats all about the life Christianity stand for. And forever we will do the right things. What we really do is a different thing. . . If so we need to confess.

What we bring in too the churches for example?

And here we need too look at each other with fully Love. Becouse all have grown differently with God. Some is a new born all the life. Some is seriously reading and studying the scripture from early morning too late night. Someone take the service of pray, and some lay they're hands on other ppl too heal them and soo much more. Some is singing for the Lord, and some are reading. Nowone is not useful. He Ia the Head.

And all is happy about that way of living. It doesn't make one more worthy anyway. We need too see the Lord in each other. See the Spirit of God, see the Love. And carry over with each other, always! A scripture who follow me is when Jesus wach the feet in

    John 13:14

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

    John 13:6

Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

We need too see the mercy and live after it, as good as we can. That is one of the Spirits. Becouse in another script Jesus said.

Luke 9.54And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

55But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

56For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

God bless Love u all in Jesus name.

    Hi Brother Carleton.

It has been a busy week. Sorry for my late response.

1 John 2:1-2. is straight forward and a blessing to the whole world if the receive it.

Here is where I believe Is one of the most ignored and misunderstood sections in the scripture, considering its importance. ( NOTICE WHAT I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED )

1 John 2:3. And HEREBY WE DO KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: HEREBY KNOW WE THAT WE ARE IN HIM.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

HE THAT SAITH HE IS IN THE LIGHT, AND HATETH HIS BROTHER, IS IN DARKNESS EVEN UNTIL NOW.

( He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.)

BUT HE THAT HATETH HIS BROTHER IS IN DARKNESS, AND WALKETH IN DARKNESS, AND KNOWETH NOT WHITHER HE GOETH, BECAUSE THAT DARKNESS HATH BLINDED HIS EYES.

( This is divinely done by the Holyspirit, it's not left up to you! This is part of the gathering together, bound together by one Spirit.) "HEREBY we know" WE CAN KNOW!! The Spirit don't lie. So we should examine ourselves to see if the Holyspirit worketh in us. Confirmed ( NOT BY YOUR DOCTRINE ). But by Love for the BRETHREN.

    Here's more-

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Peter understood what level of Love this is in John 21:15-17.

    God bless.

Precious Bob, ONE verse does not make Sound Doctrine, Correct?:

"JESUS Said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM."

    ( John 8:58)

IF JESUS is not THE "I AM" {ETERNALLY Existing One} Of ( Exodus 3:14), then please advise "Exactly WHO" is HE?

    1) a created non-angel being son of God"? 2) Michael the archangel? 3) a pro-created human only son of God? 4) JW's idea of a-little-g god in the NWT Jn 1:1? And, Exactly HOW do Any of "these" FORGIVE sin, NOT "Being God Almighty"?

Is it not Infinitely Better to Adhere to ALL "Inspired" Scripture ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17), and Compare Scriptures With THEMSELVES" With The Help Of our Blessed Teacher, God, The Holy Spirit ( 1 Corinthians 2:13), Correct? ie:

WHO Is "The EVERLASTING/ETERNAL God, With No Beginning Of Days!"?:

"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the

thousands of Judah, yet out of thee Shall HE Come Forth Unto ME That

Is To Be Ruler In Israel; Whose Goings Forth Have Been From Of Old,

    From EVERLASTING." ( Micah 5:2)

"Without father, without mother, without descent, having NEITHER BEGINNING OF DAYS, Nor end of life; But Made Like Unto The SON Of God;.." ( Hebrews 7:3)

"JESUS CHRIST, The SAME yesterday, and to day, and for ever." ( Hebrews 13:8)

    ONLY God Is ETERNAL/EVERLASTING!:

"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever THOU Hadst Formed the earth and the world, Even from Everlasting To Everlasting, THOU Art God." ( Psalm 90:2)

"I Said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not That I AM [He], ye shall die in your sins." ( John 8:24)

"Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe That I AM [He]." ( John 13:19)

If you only read KJV, then you know the translators supplied the Extra [bracketed] words, Correct? Thus, JESUS, The SON Of God, The Father, Did, In BIBLICAL Fact, Say "That I AM!" Correct?

Please be Enlightened, Enriched, Exhorted, Encouraged, And EDIFIED, In:

The Great "I AM" JESUS CHRIST!

    Amen, Amen Sister!!

It seems the person mentioned needs to understand the consequences of sin and God is Holy and will not ecquit the wicked.

Nahum 1:3. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Most people who say believe in God but not Christianity believe if there good deeds out weigh their bad deeds they will be OK.

And constantly compare theirselves to other sinners. They don't understand the wages of sin is death. The preaching of the cross have no effect on them.

1 Corinthians 1:18. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

This is why our walk and to Love the Brothern is so important.

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

    God bless.

    Hi Dianne.

Sorry it took so long to respond to you, I am working on my honey do list.

The works Jesus is talking about in John 14:12. Is his miracles and being that he will gift his disciples with the Holyspirit shortly after his death, to work and perform these same miracles, as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

And he also said in Galatians 2:8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) The apostles was given the Holyspirit and a measure of grace to take to the whole world to lay down the foundation that we are to build on. Paul said this grace was mighty in him. By the Holyspirit they was able to raise the dead!

But with all that being said that's not what he wanted the outside world to gaze upon when determining whether they was a follower of him or not. Here is what he wanted the world to see, which was given by the same spirit.

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. This was also working mightily in them.

Here is another example of what the spirit had to do in their lives. listen to the Lord after Peter forbid him to was his feet but then allowed it to be so.

John 13:12-15. So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

("Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.")

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

There is a lesson in humility.

    God bless.

    Hi Sister Dianne.

I Speak with a since of urgency but not directly to you, Sorry if it Sounded that way I was using the current strife that's been on the site and tense debating as an example of spittual deficiency.

We forget how we received what we received. It's by the Spirit of God that eyes are open, It's by the working of the spirit we are sanctified and fruitful for the ministry. Jesus said in

John 16:12-13. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus commanded the desciples to wait on the spirit before he sent them out.

He also taught them through the washing of the feet.

He often said those who have ears to hear let them hear.

Our walk and kindness to one another is not by our effort it's by being connected.

And we haven't seen that connection at large! Our validation is not on our well versed presentation, We can read and search the scripture daily for a thousand years without conviction and a conversion and all we get is the letter and be as blind as the jews at Christ coming.

Our life is a testimony that Christ is in us because true conversion brings fruit and our works follow.

This is a site where we don't have to go out to evangelize. This is a site where the lost come to us and they should see Christ in us as in John 13:35.

We are the laborers, everyone is not going to accept the Gospel, but we work

when the job is not getting done whether by our walk or by mouth, God will judge his Church.

We're either hot, cold, or luke warm.

Again my message is for the brothern to contend for the faith! And not be lured into vain babbling. Use what talents we have and earn more. And be vigilant everyone amongst us is not with us. The truth will manifest them.

This Msg is directed to the brothern.

    Amen Jesse.

Disciples wasn't just evangelists, Your walk is a way of witnessing. What ever we do we should do it by the Power of the Spirit. Not as a task. God equips us differently for the work. However I think we will be surprised how far the word has went out. I have a friend who is african that went to seminary and take the Gospel to his tribe in Africa which was all Muslim. He was nervous but when he got there he was surprised that the Gospel and Churches have been already built. And the cults is there too unfortunately.

I believe the world will be judged by their response to what light they received.

And our works will be judged by what we done in the spirit and what's in the flesh will go up in smoke.

But we also should be aware of how we're being observed

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER.

There's more than one way to give Christ to the lost.

The problem at times seems to be what's being presented whether by message or by example.

    Amen God bless.

    Hi Dianne,

First, Jesus rose before sun rise on the first day of the week (Sunday), on the Feast of First Fruits, one of the feasts they were required to come to Jerusalem. Jesus fulfilled it, being the First Fruits of those who slept. Whatever day Jesus was crucified does not change what He endured and what He did was for us.

There are five days covered in scripture from the day Jesus rode in to Jerusalem till He was crucified, starting ( Matthew 22:12) ( Mark 11) ( Luke 19) John covers it differently ( John 12:12-50). This will rule out Wednesday because that would put Jesus' riding in on a Sabbath, he could not ride the colt/donkey, it would break the Sabbath law.

In (John12:1-8) it is six days before Passover, some say He traveled from Jericho so it could not be on a Sabbath but ( Luke 19) He went up to Jerusalem but then says it came to pass, so He could have been close to Bethany before the Sabbath. ( John 12:12-16) the next day Jesus rides into Jerusalem. So, if Jesus rode in on the first day, my choice, what is called Palm Sunday, gives you Thursday or if He rides in on the second day, Monday, gives you Friday.

    Things to consider;

The third day, or the third day from? Three days and three nights? Days start and end at sunset. What preparation day, the Passover day or Friday? Passover is the 14 th of Nisan, a preparation day, one day separate from the feast 15 th - 21 st, People then and now consider it an eight-day feast and calling it the feast of Passover or the feast of unleavened bread, it is two separate things.

You see in ( John 13:1) ( Luke 22:1) ( Matthew 26:17) and in ( Mark 14:12) the first day of unleavened bread when they kill the Passover. They kill the Passover on the 14 th same day Jesus was crucified, not during the feast of unleavened bread, that started the 15 th. We have to look close with eyes wide open.

This is not enough to rightfully cover. I hope this is enough for studying, and not just enough to confuse.

I was responding to the posts about 1 Thess: 4:17, 18

The Rapture; Caught Up; In the Clouds

    End of Days

I am an Evangelist. I see lambs, sheep, wolves, hirelings and those called to be shepherds.

I'm just going to leave it at that and ask God to raise up more shepherds who care for the Sheep. To guide, in one accord, all those who want to know what the Caught Up is, and how to be a participant in that?

Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. All of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and gives grace to the humble.

Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love & good works.

    Hi Larry.

Yes. And for the most part the Lord Speaks to us through his word.

and he sent his Spirit to. empower us and guide us.

Here's a few scriptures to consider.

Take these verses and put them into context by reading the whole chapter.

John 13:34-35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

This Love mentioned here is an act "CAUSED" by the Holyspirit!

1 Peter 2:2. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2 Timothy 3:16-17. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

John 6:28-29. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

1 Corinthians 2:12-13. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1 Corinthians 2:12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Romans 8:14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Again Yes we should go to the Lord for guidance.

I hope that helps God bless.

    Amen Aria,

Especially the part, "He's your Lord and savior.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.

For God so loved the world, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

GOD IS LOVE, BUT HE IS ALSO JUST AND HOLY.

God doesn't save us by his love.

Love is by the means he sent us a savior.

God also doesn't compromise none of his attributes,

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

    Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, SEE THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER WITH A PURE HEART fervently: 1 Peter 1:17-22.

There's your Commandment in John 13.

and it will manifest beyond words.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

    James 2:18.

    God bless.
