It's my opinion that Judas did believe but used his freewill to do evil. Christians have freewill to choose good or evil. Grace doesn't give people a license to sin or to be complacent or to turn from the faith and be of this world. If actions and works didn't matter Jesus would not have said in John 14:15 if you love me obey my commandments. Some are deceived by Satan to ignore this.

Brianna, here are some more KJV Bible Scriptures that proves that Jesus Christ was Almighty God. Matthew 1:23 John 5:23 John 8:58 John 14:9-11 John 10:30-33 John 20:28 John 14:6-7 2 John 1:7 1 Timothy 3:16 1 Timothy 6:14-16 Hebrews 2:17-18 Hebrews 4:15-16 Hebrews 1:8-9 1 Peter 2:24 John 15:13 Romans 5:8 Philippians 2:5-7.

My faith in God is fully restored after reading this chapter. I was scared and I felt I was drifting farther and farther away from God, but after praying tonight, God gave me the idea to look for help on the internet, which lead me to this chapter. Verse 27 is my favorite

Rev.14:22- If the commandments are done away with , why would Jesus say "Blessed are they that do His commandments that they man have right to the tree of life". The Sabbath is a part of the ten commandments. If the law is done away with there is no sin. Rom. 7 Paul talk about the law, Rom.7:12, why would God do away with the law if it is holy. John 14:15.
  • Vernon Cartwright - In Reply - 5 years ago
You are correct to say the Sabbath was changed. It was not changed biblically, neither did Christ change the Sabbath to Sunday. No where in the Bible will you find the word Sunday. Exodus 20:8-11, Mark 2:27,28, Luke 4:16. If we are followers of Christ, we will follow His example that He set for us. John 14:14 If you love keep my commandments.

Jesus said it over and over again he was a weakling without the spirit of God his Father in him. How Christans can mess that up and pervert his words is beyond me. When man are blind they are blind to the word. John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
  • Adam - In Reply - 5 years ago
The book of James and the book of Romans explains this exact topic and does not come to the conclusion you wrote. These are the words of God which can't be just cherry picked or disregarded. Have you read those books and prayed about it? The Bible also warns against false teachings and anyone saying sin is totally 'ok' doesn't sound like it comes from God, but the devil. John 14:15
  • Adam - In Reply - 5 years ago
Hi Kennneth, I've been hearing this opinion more and more recently and I've read the Bible, prayed about it and feel convicted that this is only a deception by satan. The holy spirit has confirmed that while Jesus has washed our sin away through his grace that we are to make a full effort to avoid sin. Matt 5:48, John 14:15- if not then you don't love Jesus according to the Bible.

What you're Saying is that you Don't Believe God, that The Word Became Flesh. A Body Made of a Woman( John 1:14, Galatians 4:4) --- A Spirit Hath not Flesh and Bones( Luke 24:39) / The Promised Seed is Christ( Genesis 3:15, Galatians 3:16) The Holy Spirit is Our Comforter and Teacher( John 14: 16, 26) What you're Doing is Twisting His Word for you're Foolishness, Which is Heresy. Ask Forgiveness

The Commandments that Jesus refers to are the ones from Mount Sinai. The many Mansions refers to peace and bliss, and comfort(as compared to homeless tents). That Jesus went to the Father means he will not incarnate to rapture anyone. He speaks spiritually of these matters, not literally! Jesus is the least straight forward of all, so one must have ears to hear, not presumptions! Keep the Ten

Jesus’ second coming and the Rapture of the Church are two different Events! Jesus is gone to Prepare us our Mansions: NOT ROOMS: He is the: Way: TRUTH: LIGHT: LIFE: DOOR:GOOD SHEPHERD: FRIEND THAT STICKETH CLOSER THAN A BROTHER: ADVOCATE: AND MUCH,
MUCH,MORE: OUR ALL-IN-ALL: HE and the FATHER ARE ONE: HE IN ME AND I IN HIM: IF YE HAS SEEN ME: HE HAS SEEN THE FATHER ALSO: I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE

1 Timothy 2:5 reminds us of the words that Jesus spoke to his disciples in John 14:6 - "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." When Timothy refers to Jesus as a "mediator", he is once again telling us that Jesus is the only one that works to effect reconciliation and settlement between God and Men. Sinful and wicked Man can never expect to be in the presence of the Holy Father because the gulf between Man and God is great due to our sin. Jesus bridges that gulf for those who believe in Him and are cleansed of sin to enter Heaven through His Grace and Forgiveness.

2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Psalms 51:11: Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

    Does a Christian ever have to pray this in light of John 14:16? And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? (Except ye, being witnessed by many, know of them whom ye confess not.) It is written, Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. For the love of money is the root of all evil: Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

  • Paul Douglas on Leviticus 26 - 5 years ago
To love God is to keep his commandments.... 1 John 5:3, John 14:15, Ecclesiates 12:13. The Saviour did not take away your sins. He ended the law of sacrifice only. The Most High God hates Sinners, Sirach/Ecclesiaticus 12:6. If anyone willfully sins, the sacrifice cannot be used to repent that sin, Hebrews 10:26.

Genesis1 "let us make man in our image"...the word is "man" not ladies. It so interesting you admonish Satan for changing GOD's word, yet you do it by claiming something not recorded. Unless you scapegoat your way thru by saying "man" is intended to be "man kind" as generality. Whomever you are memorize James 3:1 do more, pray often type less. John 14:9 -Jesus was a Male. A woman comes from man. Adam was created first for a very good reason. Masculine Feminine are not the same. "Father in Heaven" makes it clear. Jesus did not teach us at anytime GOD was Unisex nor genderless. In Fact when ye pray...it is recorded... Father in Heaven. May GOD Grant you the wisdom knowledge of His Word.

Anyone Can Look Up Solomon on Their Devices or a Concordance,it Says Meaning of Solomon: Peace. It May Also Give a little History About 40 YEARS of Peace When Solomon was King of Israel. There were No Wars. Total Peace. Some People Will Make False Claims,Saying Things,That are Not in The Bible. They have no Scriptures for Support. We Need to Study His Word to Know when The Wolf is Prowling
