"In my Father 's House are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself. that where I am, you may be also. " My comment is that this is a continuing statement - not just what he did 2000 years ago for his disciples and others, but this statement includes new 2015 year Christians and others after this date until He comes. The individual who stated that He did this 2000 years ago needs to cheerfully understand that this includes her also if she is a believer.

Jesus loves us so much we must keep our faith in him and love him back by obeying his commandments. Jesus is faithful to his promises and he will never leave us comfortless, just keep on praising him and thanking him for everything he has done in our lives and thank him for sheding his blood to us in order for us to be saved and must have life in abundance. Jesus loves you and we must repent and be born again in spirit, follow Jesus and live like Jesus until rapture. Jesus is coming soon to take back his Church, blessed are those who will be found in the Church prasing God, worshiping God and serving God will be saved at the time of rapture. Jesus loves us.

THE HOLY GHOST IS A GIFT THAT GOD HAS PROMISE TO EVERY BELIEVER AND IS GIVEN TO ALL BELIEVER 'S THAT "ASK " FOR IT... 'HAVE YOU RECIEVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YOU HAVE BELIEVE? '

Can one be saved by faith yet disobey the 5th commandment which teaches love of one 's neighbors by teaching first the5th commandment, still be saved? I believe so. I also believe generally speaking that Jesus ' s last words just before he said "It is finished " -- to John, "Behold, your mother " to His mother, "Behold, your son " is the fruit He wants to see from believers fruit of the first commandment of the two that sum up the ten is obedience to His commandments . So when I hear in bible study, a believer who wants to accept the call of God to leave on mission, leaving his 75 year old father behind for 3 years-- I say this believer may be saved, but he is "doing corban " - replacing care of one 's elderly parents - with an ostensible call to mission.

In verse 16, it describes Holy Spirit as a helper. IN this verse it highlights that those who choose to associate with the world can not receive the blessing of holy spirit. They chose not to know or recognize god 's authority. However, those who do, can gain a free flow of holy spirit, which enables us to endure in this system of things.

Here we hear from Christ himself that God is greater than he is. Jesus Christ himself is the Son of the most Highest. All those that inherit salvation through Christ, will also be sons of the most Highest, not sons of Christ, BUT, Christ has been given by the Father the highest rule in his kingdom, as Jesus Christ is the firstborn of all us Sons of God. Christ belongs to the Father. Christ is the word, and we see here in John 14 Jesus says that the word is the fathers. Christ is the visible image of God, but you must understand that he is not the unseen God, but he is within the unseen God and God within him in the same sense that we will know we are in him and him in us on the day of his return as Christ said here in John 14:20. Christ light is the building block of all life and it is Gods love that holds all things together and commanded there existence. Just as Jesus Christ was sent, so we was sent forth from the beginning to create all things. All things are for him and by him. He is the laborer, the mediator, for both God and Us. Christ is the image of God, and we are the image of them both. Christ is God of Gods, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, because as sons of God, thats exactly what we will be in his kingdom. We will be Gods, kings, Lords.. Shalom

Trinitarian Alert:Well,Paul wrote this years after Jesus 's death so lets compare scripture rather than leaning on our own reasoning. This passage says that God is the head of his son, Christ. Ok, lets go right to the source himself,Jesus, and see what he has to say. At John 14:28 Jesus conferms that his Father is greater than he is.If Jesus were God, how do trinitarians explain this?
  • Lilian on John 14 - 10 years ago
Jesus is the only mediator between man and God. Jesus himself is the word of God, He who loves Jesus word will keep his commandments. Obedience is the perfect key to follow Jesus. When the Holy Spirit dwells us we understand and will see God 's glory no matter what religion you have we are the children of God. Renew your Faith in Jesus as he is the only way, the truth and the life that God our Father has anointed Jesus for us to know. What amazing love from Jesus. We are always sealed by his promises that goodness and mercy will always follow us. Jesus loves you

You can find the scripture in II Timothy Chp 4 1-4, verse 5- For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. Believe in GOD 'S Word, and be Obedient to Him, let Yeshu Jesus rule in your life and be Baptized Eph 2:8-- For by Grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a Gift of GOD. And Jesus said in John 14:15-- If you love Me, keep my Commandments... AMEN!!

No person comes to the Father except by Jesus. Jesus is the only Way to Eternal Life. Exodus 3:13-14 says,And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Moses needed confidence and and God said to tell him that I AM was sending Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt by I AM 's power. John 14 passage is a treasure because Jesus is talking about being the WAY to eternal life and being the only Way to God. Also that Jesus would send the Holy Spirit in His name after Jesus ascended back to the Father, coming on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. John is one of my favorite books in the Bible. Yes, God has different names but only one begotten Son, Jesus and we have life in His name, when we trust and obey Him.

Read John 14:9. If you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father, Jesus told Phillip. Jesus lived the Father 's will. Verse 16 of 1Timothy 3 is so beautiful and says so much. I think of the passage of scripture in Matthew 3:15-17 when I read that.

I thought that this passage refers to all believers, no matter what faith you followed. Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Hindu,Judaism, etc.! If you believed in God, Yahweh, Jehovah....The creator of us all, no matter what name you place to our Lord. I once heard that He gave his name to Moses as "I am " when Moses asked while on the mount and God appeared as the burning bush.

Hello Wayfarer: Please read the following information for I have already addressed these comments. When God said "let us " If you would please go to page 5 up under this Chapter where I gave Russel2079 a 4 part answer to this same question date 10-14-14 times 10:12 pm and 10:13pm, you will find my answer to your question. I also addressed the questions about "let us make man in our image AFTER our likeness ". Anonymous asked this same question on page 6 of the Chapter date 10-10-14 it is in 3 parts times 1:18pm 1:19pm 1:20pm. Please read my comment. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, in 1 John 5: 7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. There are other scriptures that show the oneness of God, John Chapter 1 1 Timothy 3: 16. Jesus declared he was the Father to Philip, John 14: 8 and 9. The Holy Ghost name is Jesus Christ, John 14: 26.

Going off these old comments, I think we just need to interject some sense, first off, ver.9 it says: And it shall come to pass AT THAT DAY. is usually speaking of the Coming of the Son of God in his Glory and the Glory of the Father and His Angels. There are other references in the bible to this, being a catastrophic worldwide event, all flesh being destroyed like in the flood, except for the children of God that make up the Bride of Christ. The chosen of God. and what I 'm going to say next will offend some who read this but, The Obedient Ones, that 's what makes them different. It is those who believe and live by all ten commandments, including the fourth which is the the 7th day Sabbath, it is the same commandment that the Israelites, perished in the wilderness because of there unbelief. I John 14:15-If you love me, Keep my Commandments. And that 's what He means. AMEN!!

Hello James: If you look into the Webster dictionary there are a lot of words that have multiple meanings. You have to read the content of the sentence and look at the sentence structure to know what is being stated. Then above all you have to have the Holy Ghost or a person who has the Holy Ghost help with the understanding of the word of God because it is the Holy Ghost that does the teaching and opens up your understanding, John 14: 26. The King James Version is a wonderful book. I would not change one thing. In regarding verse 16, this means to communicate to talk, if you read the scripture right before it then you will get the understanding.

Hello Jayson Duvan: God does give man a chance to repent, under each dispensation of the Bible. We are now living in the Dispensation of Grace. Under this dispensation man is given the opportunity to become saved by following Acts 2: 38. This is how Jesus Christ becomes your personal savior. A person must be born of water and spirit to enter and to see the kingdom of Heaven. There is no getting around this. Is a person has not the spirit of God he is none of his, Romans 8: 9 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his ". This scripture did not say all Jews or all Gentiles or some people it stated "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his ". This means any of mankind. The spirit is the Holy Ghost who is named Jesus Christ, John 14: 26.

Hello M. Lynn You are welcome. Knowing that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh and that all things were created by him and without him nothing can be made that was made, John 1 3 "All things were made by him and without him was not any thing made that was made ". Nothing is impossible for him to do.

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Acts 2 38 is the beginning of our Christian walk. We need to be spreading the Word of God by living His Word, planting seeds of hope for a future, making disciples of all nations, be shining lights for the dark world, always pointing to Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith. Many people are blinded by money and miss the riches of Christ. Judas saw our Savior Jesus perform many healings, miracles and people raised from the dead but Judas chose a different path. We need to pray that our nation, friends and families repent and come to Jesus, the giver of true riches.

Hello M. Lynn Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. There is no three beings in the godhead to worship. There is only one. 1 John 5 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one. Also read 1 Timothy 3 16. The choice is yours to serve him in spirit and in truth by following Acts 2 38.

This Chapter is a beautiful read of why faith is the ultimate imperative in our relationship to the Father and Son. His explanation to Judas was an open heart invitation to the trinity, the choice is ours.

Part 3 of 3 Ephesians 4 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. There are many religions, but there is only one faith. Faith is what separates what is true and not true. The true believers believe in the word of God as it is written by the Apostles follow what Peter stated on the day of Pentecost in order to be saved, Acts 2 38. According to Paul epistle James 1 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world , James was saved. He was of the same faith as Paul and Peter.

Part 2of 3 If I can say it like this, in regarding the scripture John 14 2 In my Father 's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you , Jesus is not saying that he is going to build anything for us. He is going to prepare a place not build. Think about it like this, when a person visits or relatives move in, you make room for them in your abode or home. This is what Jesus was saying. The mansions are already there. God does not find rest in us. We find rest in him. Matthew 11 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest .
