Part 1of 3 Hello Sandesh tiwade The body is a temple for the living God. 2 Corinthians 6 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them and I will be their God, and they shall be my people . This scripture is referring to the filling of the Holy Ghost by God within the body of a person who has followed Acts 2 38. After we have followed Acts 2 38 then we become the living temples of God.

Could someone tell me why they think fasting isn 't taught more. Jesus said His followers would fast more after he left. I don 't understand why I don 't hear more sermons on fasting but there are many in churches who would never dream of missing the monthly potluck after worship.

Yes,Sandesh, we need to pray Jesus comes soon. We need to love one another more. Our job as the church is to not argue but tell people about Jesus so He can add them to the body, church. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male or female for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if belong to Christ, then you are Abraham 's offspring, heirs according to promise. " Galatians 3 28 29 We always need to follow what Jude 3 says and earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to all the saints, beginning in Acts 2.

In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed, Father help them to be one as we are one so the world will believe you sent me. John 17 17 21. Yes, we need to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing in the lost and lifting up the fallen. Not arguing on who has more truth. Jesus is the Way and we find rest in Him. There us no other name under Heaven whereby we are saved but Jesus.

THERE ARE MANNY ABODES IN MY FATHER 'S HOUSE AS OUR LORD SAYS ,HE WAS THE HOUSE ON THIS EARTH . MANNY ABODES ARE THE BELIEVERS. THE WAY WAS CROSS AND HIS COMING WAS IN RESURRECTION . SO WE THE BODY OF CHRIST IS THE PLACE WHERE GOD FINDS REST. THOSE WHO THINK OF MANSION OR MATERIAL HOUSE SHOULD THINK THAT WE HAVE GOD WHO CREATES BY HIS WORD SO CAN YOU THINK THAT LORD JESUS IS BUILDING ABODES FOR LAST 2000 YEARS.HE IS BUILDING HIS BODY MATT 16 18 , YET NOT COMPLETE. WE NEED TO PRAY THAT HIS BODY CHURCH SHOULD BE BUILD. THERE ARE MORE THAN 90000 DENOMINATIONS IN CHRISTIANITY AND SORRY TO SAY THAT EACH DENOMINATION THINKS HE IS BETTER AND PERFECT , THEY UNDERMINE OTHERS. THERE IS NO ONESS, NO HARMONY ,THERE IS ALWAYS CRITICISM WITH ONE ANOTHER. WE NEED TO PRAY THAT THERE MAY BE HARMONY WITH EVERY BELIEVER OF ANY RACE , COUNTRY , COLOR , LANGUAGE ETC. SO THAT LORD WILL COME SOON

Isn 't it exciting to talk about heaven? I wonder why there are not more sermons and books on heaven?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Joni G. John 14 2 In my Father 's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you . If it were not so Jesus would not have said it. I believe there are physical mansions. We know that there is furniture of some sort, because in Revelation 4 1 thru 4 there are thrones mentioned. There is a city mentioned in heaven that is surrounded by gates, Revelation Chapters 21 and 22. It is not beyond the realm of belief that Jesus Christ has mansions, physical mansions made for us. We will be singing, rejoicing, and praising God forever. There will be no more sickness or hatred. However, this still does not mean that we will not have furniture and places to live. The four and twenty elders sit and then fall down and worship God, Revelation 4 10.
  • Joni G on John 14 - 9 years ago
I wonder what kind of mansion Jesus is building for us? He knows us inside and out. It won 't be a physical mansion of course. We are going to be praising Him forever and ever. When I was a little girl singing in worship, I remember the preacher saying we would be singing praises forever. I thought, won 't we get tired? No more tiredness. Rest in the Savior. He will also explain many things to us...

Hello Nancy Yes, you are absolutely correct. It is part of the salvation plan. You cannot just get any kind of baptism. It has to be the correct baptism. The correct baptism is so important that Paul rebaptized 12 men the correct way, Acts 19 1 thru 7.
  • Nancy on John 14 - 9 years ago
Baptism IS NEEDED for salvation...repent and be baptised everyone of you for the remission of you sins... maybe not said in exact words .
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Baptism is not only a work but a deed as well. The word work means activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. You make up your mind to follow Acts 2 38. You are putting for a physical effort to get the job done by being submerged in water according to the scriptures. The word deed means something that is done, an act or action. Colossians 3 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. The baptism means to submerge in water. The Greek word baptizo means to dip or to plunge. The symbolic meaning of the baptism is the burial. There are many examples of this throughout the Book of Acts. The baptism is so important that in Acts 19 1 7 these 12 men had to be rebaptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Jesus said it Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2 38, the Apostles carried it out. Even Paul who is the Gentiles Apostle baptized Acts 19 1 thru 7. Baptism is very important and part of the salvation plan.

Hello I cannot stress enough that we are living in the last days. You must follow Acts 2 38 in order to be saved. You must have the correct baptism. Does baptism save you alone? The answer is no. You need to repent and God has to fill you with the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God give utterance. However, baptism is part of the salvation plan. The preacher must call the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. The correct and true baptism will bring about the following Being baptized the correct way, you are baptized unto his death, have put on Christ, buried with him, and the answer of a good conscience toward God. Romans 6 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Galatians 3 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Colossians 2 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 1 Peter 3 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ Everyone needs to be baptized and in the correct way so saith the Word of God.

Hello Mockingbird I do not think that you are saying the same thing as I am are you? Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. The only way that Jesus Christ dwells in us is through the power of the Holy Ghost which he gives to those who truly repents. The evidence after receiving the Holy Ghost is the speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God give you utterance. There is only one being in the Godhead bodily. There is not three beings in the Godhead bodily. Jesus Christ is God all by himself. It is a mystery, but it is the truth, 1 Timothy 3 16.

Salvation at the moment we are immersed into Christ. Water baptism is the final step in being saved. Before that we have heard the beautiful Gospel, have believed in Christ 's death, burial and resurrection, have confessed his name to be the Son of God, repented of our sins. By grace are we saved through faith. An active faith. If we were saved the moment we believed, there would be no example of people being baptized into Christ on the day of Pentecost. Peter who knew the Jews were cut to the heart for crucifying Jesus would have said, you believe. Welcome to the kingdom, church, new birth! He did not. When asked what they should do, Peter told the Jews to repent and be baptized. They received the gift of the Holy Spirit as we do today. Their hearts were ready to obey and grow. We are but jars of clay holding this beautiful message! Let us gently lead others to Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, King and friend. Let 's ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth and point to Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Sometimes we focus on the natural reasoning of things, losing at the same time, our spiritual purpose.Because God is spirit, then our thoughts and spiritual perspectives should also be spiritual minded. Then our connections will connect.

some times we getso caught up in a doctorine that we mar our fellowship with one another. the truth of the matter is that John the Baptist minerstry died with him.He himself said I must decrease that he may increase. st john 4 3 tho Jesus himself baptized not,but his disciple. Jesus never baptized a man into water. His baptism was spiritual baptism that he would perform unto men after his resurrection. So then water baptism now is kind of circumcision of the heartand as circumcision is fleshly so is a water baptism since it is performed by a man but the HOLY SPIRIT CIRCUMcise the heart. Jesus never toold any one to take the thief of his cross and baptism him, but said directly to the thief, this day thou shall be with me in paradise.

Oops Ar..I didn 't realize it did an At..lol... Amen Ar ...I am in agreement with you.! The word of God says the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing , but to those of us who are being SAVED it is the power of God!! So since the bible clearly states it is the power of God...it is not possible to be saved by participating in any fleshly desire..the gospel is a simple message of faith. I agree with you Ar people try to make the message of salvation complicated. God 's word also says that the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God...He has more wisdom than man and with God all things are possible!!
  • Jane Doe on John 14 - 9 years ago
Amen...Thanks At...I appreciate your thoughts! Again as Mrs Robinson states she believes we have to follow some ritualistic law, formula, extra work to be saved... God is not impressed from our movements. He is not concerned about our outward freshly desires, He looks and sees our hearts...The word says for flesh and blood can 't enter the kingdom of heaven...we enter the kingdom only when we have been born again... if we are born ONCE we will die twice, if we are born twice we will die ONCE! Meaning of course born by the Holy Spirit who comes into our hearts at the moment we place our trust and faith in Him for salvation! Mrs Robinson sounds to me like you are hung on several wrong interpretations, no where have I ever read, no where does it say in God 's word we are to follow any formula to be saved...only to place FAITH in Jesus for the work in His death and resurrection! The word of God says, without faith it is impossible to please God..and those that come to Him must believe He is who He says He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him...

I would like to add one more comment. If a thief today does not repent and change his wicked ways and does not follow Acts 2 38 and he dies still in the sin of thievery he is not going to heaven. Deuteronomy 25 16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God. In the scriptures you will further find more things that God hat. 1 Corinthians 6 9 10 Know ye not that unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. These are just a few of many sins and things that God does not like.

Hello Ar I believe that those who died before the day of Pentecost that followed the Law were saved. When Jesus died on the cross the graves opened up and people saw the saints which had died arise from their sleep and walk into the holy city, Matthew 27 52 53. However, now that the dispensation of grace is into play the salvation plan is Acts 2 38. When you refer to John the Baptist and his baptism, this is why God had Luke write in Acts 19 1 thru 7 about the 12 men that Paul encountered that were baptized unto John s baptism and they had to be rebaptized under the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and then they were filled with the Holy Ghost and now those 12 men are saved. If I can say it like this, Jesus did not forget about them. He looked into their hearts and sent the true preacher to them to tell them about the salvation plan. They accepted it and God fulfilled his promise that Peter spoke about on the day of Pentecost. These men lived during the Law, were baptized unto John s baptism, and because they now lived under the new age of grace, God allowed Paul to teach them and bring them into a better way. This is what John stated himself while in the wilderness. He stated that we should not believe on him but on him that come after him. The answer is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Mrs Robinson 's remark of 10 24 2014 John the Baptist was baptizing in water those who repented their sins. Or don 't you even accept John the Baptist as "Jesus only " believer???? I am sure some people died between their water baptism.....before the Pentecost. Are they condemned to eternal death?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
There is no death bed salvation. John 3 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God . Now that we are under the Dispensation of Grace, you have to have the correct water baptism and the spirit of the Holy Ghost or you will not enter into the kingdom of God. This is a hard pill to swallow, but if a person under this Grace Age do not get saved according to Acts 2 38 they will not go to heaven. There is no praying them out of purgatory. There is no purgatory. There is no praying them into heaven from the coffin. These are facts. I did not write the Bible I am merely stating what is in it.
  • Ar on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hi Jane ! I was so blessed from your comment that I had to respond to it. God reveals His truth to genuine hearts who are searching for it.Many people have accepted the Lord on their death beds a few days before their death and couldn 't be baptized . These people are in Heaven now. Our Savior gives everybody the same chance until the last breath. He is full of love and righteousness. God bless you and every one who believes and accepts the Truth without complicating it. The Word was written by simple people with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We people make it complicated for no reason.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Jane Doe I would like to chime in. We can deduce that he was not baptized. If I can say it like this, the reason why the thief did not have to be baptized is because before Jesus laid down his life on the cross or died, the law was still in place. It was not until the Holy Ghost fell on the day of Pentecost that the Grace Age and the church of began. Paul speaks about it to the Ephesian Church who is already saved, Ephesians 3 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you ward . I have not stated anything that was not fact. The scriptures speak for themselves. I hope and pray that God will remove the coverings off of your eyes so that you may see that there is only One God and his name is Jesus Christ. The thief showed faith in Jesus Christ. Now we must not only show faith, but belief that he is God manifested in the flesh, and that we must follow Acts 2 38. There is only one Lord, one faith, and one baptism.
  • Jane Doe on John 14 - 9 years ago
In response to Ar... thank you! You know I am very blessed ! I 'm blessed in the truth of God 's word...I 'm blessed that God reveals His truth to us and protects us from those who wish to distort and deceive the truth of who He really is. I don 't know about you Ar..but I 'm sure you can agree that thank you Jesus we are under grace and not under the law! For we are saved through FAITH,and this is not from yourselves, it is God 's gift not from works so that no one can boast.! We know that Abraham believed God and it was accounted unto him for righteousness..no amount of following a law can save..when Jesus was on the cross and was between the 2 crooks one of them repented the other did not...The one that repented said to Jesus,LORD remember me when you come into your kingdom...Jesus replied, today you will be with me in paradise... the crook was not baptized before he died ,and yet Jesus said he would be with Him in paradise! Romans 10 6 10the message is near you,in your mouth and in your heart. This is the message of FAITH that we proclaim if you confess with your mouth ,Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation. Which is exactly what the thief on the cross did..
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Ar and Jane Once again remember you quoted the scripture, but the very last part of that scripture states that all three are one. This is the truth in which we hold dear. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. This same John that wrote the Book of St. John wrote these three epistle as well. He states who the Word, that the Word was in the beginning, and that the Word was made flesh, but more importantly he states that the Word was God. The Word name is Jesus Christ.
