Amen verse 3 the only way we can know Him is by the Holy Ghost Jn 14:17 but ye know Him for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you.Jesus speaking of the Acts 2:4 promise of His Spirit. Romans 8:9 without His Spirit we are none of His.1Corinthians12:3 no man can say Jesus is Lord,but by the Holy Ghost.No man can truthfully say Jesus is Lord until. he or she recieves the Acts 2:4 Holy Ghost

Jesus Christ, ( the lamb) prayed for us to Jesus, ( the Father,) and said I have manifested THY NAME to men. The name which is above every name. JESUS! The prayer was completed by the Holy Ghost who transmitted the message in the Spirit. What an awesome gift.The Godhead complete was at work on our behalf at that moment. I praise, honor, and extol the King of Heaven.

I thank God for Jesus, for giving me a chance to live life right through Jesus Chris.

We see how Jesus was convinced that the Bible is God’s Word, which provides the best guidance in life. Following Jesus’ example, we must read the Bible daily, study it, and meditate on what we learned

Jesus was praying for His apostles and all that believed on Him through their words.

The faith is not what you believe or what I believe, the faith is what the apostles wrote for us to learn. We are to believe the message the apostles taught. Jesus prayed for those who believed on Him through the apostles words. John 17: 20.

Verse 16 helps us to see that loyalty to Jehovah God and His Kingdom will help us stay neutral and remain seperate from the world.

V. 11 - " ,,, keep through thine own NAME ..."; another prophesy Of Acts 2:38; there is POWER in the name of Jesus!! - to keep us in our walk with Him.

Bible Reader, read Hebrews 10:12. Jesus is sitting on the right hand of The Father. Our high priest and His Father. Also, Matthew 28:19 states Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. By Jesus Christ himself. Couldn't be clearer. Read John 17:3, the Lord's prayer.

"..THOU HAST GIVEN HIM POWER OVER ALL FLESH, THAT HE SHOULD GIVE ETERNAL LIFE TO AS MANY AS THOU HAST GIVEN HIM." Notice that He didn't say, that He is the death, burial and resurrection; but the Resurrection and the Life! Jesus did not come to condemn an already lost humanity, to lead them by the hand to their doom; but to rescue, to heal, to make perfectly whole; to save and reconcile and bless!

"I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word." Not all have this Light given to them. Not every one is granted access into this grace. Not for the world, but for "those whom Thou hast given me;" does the Lord especially pray, for all these things to be done in us. WHY? Because we keep His Word!

John 17 is a wonderful outline of the true Church of Jesus the Christ. Jesus prays to the father that his people are to be one as he and the father are one. On the day of Pentecost the were ONE accord. The fulfillment of the law of Christ is always oneness I. Relationship one with another; John 13:34-35.

I think this is an awesome prayer. No one will ever love us more than Jesus. I would truly be lost without me. He is my saviour and my LORD. May I PRAISE HIM all the days of my life.

Sanctify them by the word of Jesus Christ, the living and active word that reaches to the bone marrow of all who believe. Abraham was accounted righteous by his faith in God's word. We must pray for the changing power of God's love to heal sin sickness disease and death.this is the victory that Christ Jesus-accomplished on the crossthrough the power of the Holy Spirit.

There is nothing as beautiful as the words of Christ, and the hope found therein.

John 17 clearly shows us that Jesus pleaded for our case then as he is still doing now before our Father.Jesus extended the love and blessings from God to whoever believes,seeks and acknowledges Him.

Jesus further asks God to bless his followers while still in the world not to take us out of it but to keep evil away from them.
God's love is so manifested by Jesus,Glory to Him

Never noticed before but seems like the first part of the prayer Jesus is praying for His disciples. Then vs 20 stars praying for those that believe their word to be one. . wow does that include me.

Breathtaking. This is true Agape' Love. Thank God for Jesus that day by day we can walk in this same love and truly have this kind of love for one another.

Lord Jesus bring me ever closer to thee and take my anxiety and fears and cleanse me with thy precious blood once and for all.burn into my heart that thy atoning death paid my sin debt in full and use me and mold me as you see fit.you are the way to life eternal, my spiritual life is thy hands LORD JESUS amen!

Do you know Jesus Christ like he must be known. That being Jesus should be more important than your wife and family. He needs to be our first love always. He is our constant truth and gives us our bearings as we live our lives for Him each day, because it truly matters to the Godhead. May you know Eternal Life in Christ Jesus.

"These words spake Jesus"
What a loaded statement! Could anybody else have spoken them? Is there anybody else qualified to make them? If John had stopped at these four words could anybody have imagined what was to follow? "These words", revealed the heart of the 'Word'.

In the beginning was the word, the word was with GOD and the word was GOD

God is good all praises belong to him. Now there is hope for eternal life for us believers in Christ our Lord and saviour. Thank you Jesus.

His prayer is so unselfish and holy...

He alone own our lives even till eternity and there is nothing good in this world outside He....Hallelujah!
