Blackfoot. That problem you cannot get away from the corruption of the world reason is if the clothing

You wear was made in a sweat shop in china corrupt if you buy groceries from a chain who,'s family is involved in witchcraft it's corrupt. That:s why when we receive

Things from God they are blessed because of what was done by Jesus Christ.

In Gospel of John 1:29 John the Baptist proclaimed behold the lamb of God which

Taketh away the sin of the world meaning Jesus Christ sacrifice paid for all of

What sin or broken fellowship produces. That's why when we receive things with

Thanksgiving it's covered by grace. He paid for what we do not know but if you

Know the source whole different situation covered in Romans Chapter 14.

    Hi Adam

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

    Yes, I do Adam.

If so, do you believe Jesus is the Word as it says in John 1:14 and that He is God and created everything as it says in John 1:1-3?

    Yes, I do Adam.

And do you believe Ephesians 2:8-9 is true that we're saved by grace and not by works?

I believe both writings of James and Paul, meaning, we are saved by both grace and works because the two apostles contradict each other.

Going back to your first question,

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

Yes, meaning, I don't believe Paul over James nor James over Paul but I believe both are teaching true doctrines making the entire Bible 100% true.

    Paul says,

We are saved by grace through faith and not by works for if it is by works it is no more grace. (Ephesians and Romans)

    Grace comes through faith...

    And James says,

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ( James 2:26)

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. ( James 2:17)

The only conclusion to these doctrines and believing the Bible 100% and not just parts of it would be to say we are saved both by works and grace.

Making what the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi says,

We are saved by grace, after all we can doa true doctrine.

And solidifying Isaiah's doctrine which says,

They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. ( Isaiah 29:24)

Which, I believe, is speaking about the Book of Mormon.

Adam, do you believe Paul is correct? and do you believe James is also correct?

Hi Paul, welcome and I'm sure you'll find an interesting dialog in these forums.

I'm a truth seeker too and believe the Bible. I am interested in what you believe about these 3 questions...

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

If so, do you believe Jesus is the Word as it says in John 1:14 and that He is God and created everything as it says in John 1:1-3?

And do you believe Ephesians 2:8-9 is true that we're saved by grace and not by works?

    Hi Dere.

    Salvation goes out to everyone.

John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 John 2:2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.

Revelation 22:17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let HIM THAT HEARETH say, Come. And let HIM THAT IS A THIRST come. And WHOSOEVER WILL, let him take the water of life freely.

Romans 10:9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

I did a thorough study on when Jesus died. It was very interesting that men follows the traditions of men. Paul already warned us in Colossians 2:8

I personally confirmed that Jesus died on Wednesday. Just as the pattern of a wonderful God has created a day, so understanding that a day starts in the evening and the morning Genesis 1:5. Then next a great God gave the Jews a great and only sign of Jonah 1:17 and Matthew 12:40 a prophetic sign of when Jesus will die, buried and resurrected for 3 days and 3 nights. Our God is such a great Intelligent Designer so that the true believers will not be deceived tossed to and fro ( Ephesians 4:14) by any so-called Religious Christian Deceivers. So by knowing this you will know who is lying to you and to stay away from this cult. Revelation 18:4

It was also a perfect match on the day of Passover and the Sabbath. Noticed the day Mary went to the tomb and her preparation of her spices. I will leave a room for you to study.

So anybody says Jesus died on Friday, it is fake news they are making you a merchandised 2 Peter 2:3; Revelation 18:11; Revelation 18:12 Stay away immediately if they do not listen to the truth. The truth will set you free. John 14:6. The greatest and intelligent thing God said is that there is no other interpretation in the word of God. So if you do not get it you must be a lost person and not saved or just not reading your Bible enough. I do want ALL to be saved 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. I just hate the Nicolaitans (2X) Revelations 2:6; Revelation 2:15. Beware of many modern Pharisees.

Main thing is that we true believers 1 John4:2-3; 2 John 1:7 should not be divided 1 Corinthians 1:10; Luke 11:17. We need each other Romans 12:4; 1 Corinthians 12:12 & 20

We are truly in the last days. Psalms 2:1-12. God wants everybody to understand The Word of God. Many of you will not believe. It is expected. Many will meet Jesus in the cloud 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. See you soon.

A lifetime of struggle under the poverty line. All min wage jobs, one after another, paycheck to paycheck, never enough to save. I live in dangerous apt complex with murder, hijackings, etc. I have no savings to retire. Stamina, energy, health waning as I get older. Bad back, over exhaustion. Got fired from another crap job and find myself unemployed yet again. Rent got raised by 25 percent. Car troubles. Tired of the struggle. I want the American dream. I want to buy a house and retire. I want to win the lottery. And if I do I will pay it fore-ward. As I'm pushing 60, with brain fog, severe exhaustion, I just want things to get easier. The easy yolk of which Jesus spoke. I've done the hard yoke. I want the bitter cup removed. I drank 3/4 of it. No more, please. Matthew 18:19-20 - Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Please agree with me in Christ's name that my health, finances, improve. And for that matter, relationships improve, or lack thereof. I suffer social phobia. I have no friends, wife. I could go on and on. I just want to be happy. That isn't a sin, btw, to want to be happy. John 10:10- I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Jesus said, "I wish that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2. Let's see what else God's Word has to say in regards to your snarky comment against Jesus.

A few verses before in 2 Peter 1:11 it says "Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." Do you believe Jesus is your Lord and Savior?

Do you know what "Lord" means?

The same old straw man fallacy shows up again that God the Son isn't God the Father, but no one is claiming that. This attack on Jesus is repeated so much it seems to fall into the disingenuous and lie territory.

God is powerful enough to do what you don't comprehend as a man. Whether you comprehend that or not doesn't change reality or the truth. The Bible says that in John 1 the 'word was God' and was there at the beginning, so do you believe it?

More of God's truth about God:

Luke 4:34 - "Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God."

Luke 4:12 after satan put Jesus to the test Jesus says "Do not put the Lord your God to the test."

Isaiah 7:14 - Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us"

Isaiah 42:5 "Thus saith God the LORD..."

Isaiah 42:8 "I am the LORD: that is my name..."

Hebrews 1:8 "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom."

    Godhead:

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:29

    Romans 1:20

    John 1:18

God is we and us plural:

    Genesis 1:26

If the Bible flat out said Jesus is God like it does would you believe it?

Where are the verses that say Jesus isn't God the Son? (none)

Where are the verses saying Jesus IS God the Son (above, numerous)

And where are the verses where Jesus verbally denied being God? (none)

Hello Bee V. Thank you for sharing all that is on your heart, especially your agony over your husband's spiritual state.

But to your first question: "What verses apply to a Christian wife who was a fornacator before she was married?" I'm assuming that the woman in question wasn't a believer at the time of her indiscretions. But even if she was a believer, almost all sin is forgivable when truly repented of & cast aside, as we read in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And as Paul & Barnabas urged the Gentiles to "turn from these vanities (sins of idolatry & false worship) & turn unto the living God" ( Acts 14:15). Forgiveness from God comes when we repent of our sins & purpose in our heart to turn from them.

And then to your husband, and particularly the state of his soul before God & his disbelief in the authority & veracity of the Scriptures. This is always a hard area to deal with as once a person has in his mind that something is false, then any proof given may well be rejected. However, I would base my discussion with him on: on what basis was he saved (just from a man's word, or from that word that originated from the Bible)? If he has doubts about the Bible, then he should have doubts about his salvation, the reality of God & Jesus, & in fact much of history of that time. Onto Page 2.

You're right bro S. Spencer, we do tend to focus on that which causes us to wonder - where nothing more is said about what Jesus wrote on the ground. Yours is a good guess as also the many others who have their suggestions; but they can remain only in our thoughts.

Mine were directed to Isaiah 55:7, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Could Jesus have written along those lines, 'God is merciful to sinners - show mercy', as they readied themselves to hurl their stones. And then Jesus stood up & spoke to them, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." With those words & whatever Jesus had written on the ground, they got the message, that mercy ought to prevail, even as Jesus put aside His authority to administer justice to her.

Yet the Law was still in force - but Jesus' coming brought in a transitional period, where the Law began to fade away, for the 'fulness of God's Grace & Glory' now stood before them ( John 1:14), culminating in the full expression of that Grace, at the Cross. Even if the religious leaders had the power to judge & penalize, Jesus was showing (even through this encounter with this woman), that mercy & forgiveness was now the order of the day, as this was to be seen in Jesus Himself present with them - that the harsh implications of the Law and entrance of God's abundant Grace in Christ, had absolutely no correlation, indeed, diametrically opposed to each other.

The Law revealed sin & only brought death & sin abounded by the Law for there was no mechanism within the Law to bring about a change in heart & life. Grace now came through Christ and was able to deal with that unbridled sin - that Grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." ( Romans 5:20,21). Those leaders might not have learned this, but at least seem convicted.

    S Spencer,

Thank you, be safe traveling, been there done that, don't get to a point you have to pull out your briefcase to verify what city you are in. Agree this subject can be set out, and agree with 1 Cor, 15:45-49 but also agree with Rom. 5:19. Same with John 1:18 John wrote this after Jesus ascended like John 3:13. I agree about the Father, but all scripture tells us of the Son is He is the beginning, nothing was before Him.

    Be safe, and God bless.

    Exodus 25

    continued...

The gold of the cherubim needed to be heated and beaten to forge them into the shape of the cherubim. They are placed at the (side) ends of the cover with their wings outstretched above the top of the cover with their faces looking down upon this place on top (the Mercy Seat). How the angels desire to look into the mercy and grace of the gospel of Jesus!

These cherubim are to be forged onto the Mercy Seat so that it is all of one piece. YHWH promises to meet with and speak with Moses from upon the Mercy Seat. This tells me that the only way to commune with God is due to Him showing mercy to us. The Mercy Seat is the top of the Ark and covers the Testimony-Book of the Covenant-inside. The Mercy Seat-the Body of Christ-covers the transgressions of the Law that YHWH knows all people will disobey, yet the Law remains untouched, standing true fand good for all time. Some say that the ark represents the throne of God in heaven.

The next item for the tabernacle is the Table for the Shewbread (Bread of the Face or Presence). The table is also made of acacia wood with very specific dimensions, overlaid in pure gold with molding all around the edge. This, too, has four rings attached at the outside corners with wood overlaid in gold poles to go through the rings (and not to be removed). Table is to have a sturdy frame and four legs. Next, the utensils are to be made-pans, pitchers, and bowls-all of pure gold. On the table the shewbread is to always be on this table. The shewbread-unleavened-may be a reminder to the Israelites of the manna given to them in their desert years to sustain them and it also represents Jesus as the Bread of Life we are to eat and live. ( John 6), also, "Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." We are to feast on the Word, Jesus, ( John 1:1) who came from the Father, as well as the Scripture, that testify to Jesus from start to finish. We need to be nourished by Him continually.

    Hi Brother Ronald.

I love you too Brother and it is always pleasant talking with you.

I haven't read much of the replies, I've been traveling, but I will when I settle down maybe this weekend.

However I intend to sit this one out.

Adam posted a question that I never heard or seen brought forward.

What % of God is in Christ.

The other side of the coin is What % of Mary or Adam and Eve is in Christ. We know all humanity goes back to Adam and Eve.

That's where it gets interesting. Adam in us have to die and we have to be born from above "Born again " in order to get an Ernest of the spirit. Christ didn't.

1 Corinthians 15:45-49. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

And as we have BORNE the image of the earthy, we shall also BEAR the image of the heavenly.

As you said, The glory Christ had with the Father is incomprehensible to us considering God is spirit and there is one spirit and Christ is in the bosom of that spirit.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, WHICH IS IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER, he hath declared him.

Our relationship to our father doesn't help us relate to that!

If we go back to our father we go back to a time where we didn't exist. The Glory of Christ in the father is from everlasting to everlasting.

It's interesting The demons and Satan seems to comprehend that.

    God bless.

    S Spencer,

We have had discussions before and have called each other brother that I am honored to be. I think you know I do not believe Jesus became a son at the birth of Mary, for everything was created through Him. I replied to the thread of what Adam posted but it does not show under all, if you would like to read it.

I love every one of you guys, the question, what % of God was Jesus? God is from eternity nothing was before Him, so shouldn't the question be what % of God are we? Nothing existed before Him, and all came from Him.

The glory before the world was? Jesus the Son of God was before all, Col. 1:16 through Him was all created. Was that from eternity or the beginning of creation does scripture really tell us? Like John 1:1 In the beginning. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega the first and the last, the beginning and the end. What division has this created?

Like in the other post I said, He gave up the glory He had and lived a life in the flesh that only could fulfill the law. God could not because He is incapable of sin. I don't think anyone can say what was the glory He gave up was because no scripture tells us (speculation), we have to imagine what we cannot, truth is simple, not complicated, but we know He will return in the glory of his Father, Matt. 16:27.

    Love all of you guys,

    God bless,

    Hi Adam,

Actually Jesus isn't the Son of God. Christ is. Who is Christ except God's Son as He created Him. And what is Jesus except the Christ in Him. Jesus' appeared, took on the form, was in the likeness, being found in fashion of a body. Philippians 2:7,8. His reality is Spirit, since His Father is Spirit. John 4:24. We know what James 3:11,12 says. To paraphrase, woolly mammoths don't produce rabbits, and neither do redwood trees produce poppies. We know also flesh can't produce spirit. It is highly illogical Spirit producing flesh. God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5. Light does not produce darkness, only Light. God is Love 1 John 4:8. Love creates Itself and nothing but Itself. The truth of Jesus is not a body, but Christ, Who like God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, wholly loving and wholly lovable. Jesus, who appeared as a body has the Mind (Spirit) of Christ. Jesus (his Mind) has nothing that does not come from God; the difference between both me and you now is that He has nothing else. So yes, Christ is God: 100%! The flesh profits nothing. John 6:63. Where in the Scriptures does it say God is a body; and they that worship Him must worship Him in body and in truth?

And yes, Christ is God's Son, an extension and complete sharing of God's Self (Mind). The Trinity in It's Oneness transcends the sum of It's parts. They are One.

    Peace be with you

also as jesus christ said to fulfill all righteousness. The law ended in practice with john the baptist that's why in

John 1:17 grace and truth came with Jesus christ. Also notice in Acts 1:5-8 john indeed baptized with water but incontrast

ye shall absolute tense be baptized with Holy spirit the lesser the law replaced by Grace via the spirit. The first one works

the second without merit cannot be earned through works must be believed by romans 10:9+10 God given then the works is

Hi Grae. I realize you've written to Adam, but if I may, I'll just briefly write this.

You've stated, "(your belief that Jesus is not God is) totally clear to me from my reading of the whole Bible." And you feel frustrated that folk believing as you do are barracked by those who don't. I don't sense that this happens. What I do see is that one side presents their belief & the other side presents their belief & that is up for discussion, as per these Discussion Pages. If you feel that these others are heavy-handed in their presentation, then they have presented Scriptures to show the Deity of Christ & hope that folk will use those Scriptures to argue their case.

I know Adam has presented a long list of references in the past, as I have also shared some. Has anyone even attempted to discuss those verses? One person did try to discuss John 1:1-14 with me, but conveniently changed the meaning that after Jesus was born into the World, God's Word came into Him. I've often presented one particular verse ( John 17:5): "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." And none have given their understanding of this verse.

So, this can be frustrating to us also. For me, I wonder, 'have folk missed reading this verse altogether; have they read it but have their own understanding or even changed it; or, will it shake their belief, so best avoid discussion? You've read the whole Bible, you write. How do you, one who doesn't believe in the Deity of Jesus, deal with John 17:5? I would really like to know, because if I were in your position, that verse alone would shake my long-held belief severely.

"The VOICE of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:"

    John 1:20-23

20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

23 He said, I am the VOICE of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias (Isaiah)

I'd like to ask a question directed at anyone who believes Jesus isn't God the Son or a part of any Godhead and may be open to responding. I come in peace to ask a question for my own understanding and I won't respond to this thread as I know how passionate the discussions on this topic can become.

The regular brothers and sisters here probably know that I believe Jesus is God the Son, because of what it says in John 1:1, 1 John 5:7, etc. I feel lead to defend Jesus when I sometimes see comments denying His divinity, especially if to influence newer believers, but I won't post again here.

My question is: do you believe Jesus as the Son of God has any % of God the Father in Him? If so, what %?

In human terms, most of us understand that when a father has a son that about 50% of his DNA and genes will come from the father, and 50% from the mother. Because there is no mention of the Son of God having a mother, one may presume that most of any inherited traits may have come from God the Father through some kind of miraculous act.

Basically, if you don't believe Jesus is God, do you believe that any % of God-ness may have been inherited from God the Father (and what scripture says)?

    God bless.

    Brother S Spencer:

No one is going to change someones opinion, that's the Holy Ghost's job, we are just to preach truth.

Truth does not contradict God's words.

    You don't go to heaven.

You (sinful flesh) DIED on the Cross, you, the (glorified) BODY of Christ, was raised back by the resurrection of Christ.

The Spirit (in a glorified body) goes back to God that gave it.

Christ, the glorified Body, (LIFE and TRUTH) is in man ( Colossians 1:27).

Philippians 2:13 For it is God (Christ in you) that worketh both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

Those chosen in this age, WILL BE ONE with Christ: IN MAN bringing man to GOD ( John 1:51).

Ezekiel 14:9 And if the prophet (of man) be deceived when he has spoken such a thing, I the Lord HAVE DECEIVED that prophet .....

1 Thessalonians 2:11 For this cause GOD SHALL SEND them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

The whole world is DECEIVED, only the Holy Ghost can reveal truth.

1 Thessalonians 2:12 That they ALL (everyone of us) might be damned (JUDGED, now or later, by God's words) who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when ALL THINGS (in the ages to come) SHALL BE subdued to him, the shall the Son also himself be subject to him who put all things under him, that God may be ALL in ALL.

We either come to truth now; and become ONE with the WORD, in this age, or latter, in the ages to come. God's CHOICE.

Psalms 22:27 And all the ends of the world SHALL REMEMBER (when they are resurrected back into bodies of flesh and judged by God's words) and turn unto the Lord: for all kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

ALL God's WORDS will be fulfilled ( Isaiah 55:11).

    God Bless You.

    Hello again Giannis,

Again, we do differ on this. I will share a few more of my thoughts, not to be argumentative, but to share what I believe. I believe that every single person will one day stand before God and will have to give an account. No person will have an excuse. To me, it does not matter that a person believes in "a god." What matters is that the person believes and surrenders their life to the one true God, Jesus Christ.

There is a tremendous principle being taught in John 1:9. Every single person that is born into this world is at some point enlightened to the truth. There will be no excuse. No one will be able to stand before God and say I didn't know the gospel message about salvation, but I was a good person and always made the right choices because my conscience told me to do so.

Jesus tells us in John Chapter 14 that no one can come to the Father except through Him. In other words, there is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ. So this would eliminate all those who believe in a god, regardless of who their god is, or how good of a person they were.

Psalm 19:1-4 says that creation, the language of creation goes throughout the world. There is no language that does not understand the language of creation. And creation speaks of the Creator. Also, Romans 1:19-20, Paul says that what is known of God is clearly manifest as God reveals the truth of the invisible God to every person.

As far as the Muslims, Buddhists, and all other religions who are worshipping a different god because they "never heard of Jesus," I would also say that they are all without excuse. Now I know some people like to use Romans 10:18 to support what they believe are people, such as primitive tribes, who have never heard the gospel message. They say how is that fair? And they use Romans 10:18, which says how will they believe if they don't hear a preacher? And how are they going to hear a preacher if no preacher is sent?

I am running out of space so I'll send a (part 2)

    Predestination and John 8

The first 12 verses describe a woman caught in adultery. The fact that the man wasn't brought as well was suspect. Jesus gave instructions for the man without sin to throw the first stone; and when He remained mercy triumphed over judgment. It should be noted; however that in verse 11 she was told to "go and sin no more". In verse 12; Jesus appeals to the fact that He is the light of the world.

Then; when disputing with the Pharisees and giving what seemed like a clear message of salvation and how He was connected with the Father; verse 27 shows that they really didn't know what He was referring to. Verses 31-32 describes what is often called "Perseverance of the saints". It makes clear that to produce good fruit; we must remain in Him; which of course is only possible for those sealed with the Spirit ( Eph. 1:13-14).

In verse 33; another lie is told; as we see elsewhere in John that they were never slaves. Then; continuing to verse 38; Jesus reveals whose father they have. They are thinking about physical ancestry; Jesus is talking about spiritual authority; and spells iit out continuing to verse 48. The situation deteriorates further when Jesus is accused of having a demon (v. 48; following v.52-53; then Jesus gives a clear statement that He is the "I am" or God Himself; and the last first shows yet another attempt to stone Him where He escapes. (See John 1:11 to summarize this book). They are spiritually blind; but held accountable having physical vision (see John 9:41; Isaiah 43:8)

Jesus always spoke of his Father in Heaven.

    Matthew 16:17

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in HEAVEN.

    [not in Rome]

    Matthew 23:9

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in HEAVEN.

    Mark 13:32

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

    Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father

    WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.

Some Blood of Jesus scripture references:

    Hebrews 10:19 and 13:12; Ephesians 2:13

    1 John 1:7 and 1 John 5:6

    Matthew 16:17

I do not want to offend. The Pope, nor any priest of the Catholic Church should be called Father.

    God is a consuming fire.

As long as we keep those facts straight, we are ok. The council of Nicea, adopted the King James Bible for all faiths to use.

The way things are going, in the World, now: is a good time to be following Jesus.

Recently, the Pope went to Israel and counseled them to give the West Bank to the Palestinians.

In the Book of Genesis, God made a Covenant through Abraham concerning the Lands of Israel; which includes Jerusalem. The Final wars of mankind will be over Who Owns Israel.

Dangers of lukewarm church (conclusion for now)

I am not going to attempt to state whether those who are lukewarm now will make it to the Bema Seat and go through the fire and suffer loss in 1 Cor. 3:12-15 after they are raptured; OR if that means that they will have to endure part of the Tribulation to make their garments white; as the Tribulation saints apparently do. We see both time frames that appear to be mentioned with verses in Rev. 3 as well as Revelation 7.

What I will state is that we need to trust Him to overcome the fear of death. That always starts; as Christ's example to us; with being a suffering servant with the needs of others above our own; serving rather than being served. Ultimately; our physical death brings that conflict with the flesh to a conclusion. Going back to the themes of the world; flesh and the devil; things which easily ensnare us need to be overcome through His propitiation and atoning sacrifice on the cross. Many have although they won't say it; deluded themselves to think that they have no sin (1 John 1:8). If Paul struggled with it; we surely will as well. We have potential to remain sinless in our conduct; but must be wary of our minds; because the enemy will attempt to make those who ARE born again THINK that all sorts of unclean thoughts originate with them. In reality; we need to arrest it at the gate; and not allow our souls to once again be taken captive by the snares of the devil. ( 2 Tim. 2:26).

Keeping our mind on things above; the cloud of witnesses ( Heb. 11:29) in heaven we also realize that we shall return with Him in the clouds someday; as well as stand in heaven as Kings and Priests ( Rev. 1:6) seeing all the judgments on earth will put our focus in the right place. I will conclude with this thought; whether it is now or the Tribulation where undoubtably new believers will have to in a large part be martyred; or what is coming in the near term lukewarmness should make us puke as God does.

John 1: 2, tells us we become his sons once we are saved. All mankind is his creation, but we are not his children unless we are in Jesus Christ.

You are welcome. Please allow me to make myself be clear. Please read the entire chapter of John 1. John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. When you see capital letter "W" Word in the Bible it means Jesus Christ. John 1:14. The lower case "w" word means the Bible. You cannot come to God the Father but by Jesus Christ John 14:6-7; For through him (Jesus Christ) we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18; it is a mystery Colossians 2:2-3; God gave to Jesus everything we need to know Revelation 1:1. In conclusion, There is one God the Father, one God the Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and one God The Holy Spirit. Three persons if you will, manifested from ONE GOD. Thank you so much for your question, I know how hard it is to many people understanding this concept, for I now have to be careful explaining it to you as well. Very happy for the opportunity. Glory to God.

More verses to prove Jesus is God. I will pray that you will be guided by the Holy Spirit in your journey to God. Agape.

I'd like to share 2 thoughts on predestination:

    1. Regarding John 10:36 "neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" if you look at the context Jesus is talking only about his sheep. The sheep are His followers, or, Christians. Not everyone is a sheep. They are choosing to follow Jesus and choosing to believe and choosing be sheep by their own freewill and decisions. We know this because of what it says just prior to that. John 10:25-27. In v26 he says they are NOT His sheep because they don't believe. So, if we combine this verse with Matthew 7:13-14 one can presume that most are NOT sheep. Many most are wolves and some are wolves in sheep's clothing. Matthew 7:15.

    2. Jeremiah 29:11 "I know the thoughts" or "plans" and hope for a "future" some translations say. Just because an all-knowing God can know this doesn't automatically mean its robbing you of freewill. You are not an automatic robot following a specific script. God is big and powerful enough to know everything and also let us have freewill at the same time, even if little human brains have a hard time comprehending it. God is much bigger than our assumed limitations. God is also big enough to change His mind, as happened relating to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Maybe God's plan is just a broad overview of what would be best for you, maybe like a map, but its up to you whether you follow it or not. Maybe you take a few detours along the way, maybe you get confused and even go the wrong way at times. This doesn't automatically mean you are following God's plan. Maybe you're not following Him at all. I think if you ask most people who believe in predestination, they generally admit that when they ordered a chicken sandwich for lunch and held the pickles that it was mostly their choice and not necessarily God's plan. Or when a Christian sins 1 John 1:8, I don't think most people actually believe that God causes people to sin. God forbids us to tempt or lead others to stumble in sin: Luke 17:1-4.

    God bless.
