The five smooth stones are part of a Rock ( 1 Corinthians 10:4) i.e. Jesus Christ . So Jesus Christ is nothing but word of God ( John 1:1 & 14). Matthew 21:44 Its a weapon and Lord has given us spiritual weapon to fight against all demonic powers against us. They are 1. Faith : Hebrew 11:1,6 Hebrews 12:2, Galatians 5:22(F.O.S), 1 Corinthians 12:9(G.O.S) Ephesians 6:16(A.O.G), Matthew 17:20 2.Word of God: John 1:1, Psalms 107:20, Isaiah 55:11, Hebrews 4:12 3. Prayer : Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 17:21 4. Anointing : Isaiah 10:27, 5. Obedience : 1 Samuel 15:22. If we have this five spiritual smooth stones which formed from Jesus , we can overcome this world. ( 1 John 5:4). David had faith in the Lord and put it into action, also had the special horn anointing to break all the yolks by obeying to the voice of the God. David was a man of prayer. Big things comes in small packages. Victory is ours. Let God's name alone glorified,
Amen.
Yes, Jesus is deserving of praise. You do well to praise Him and realize that He is all you need. I agree that He died for all. There are many places in scripture that show that Christ shed His blood for all and that salvation is offered to all who will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You quoted Part of John 3:16, but here are a few other verses that agree with what you are saying: 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 John 4:14, 1 John 2:2, John 1:29, John 4:42, Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:10, Hebrews 9:26, Hebrews 9:12.
So you are correct in saying that Jesus suffered and died for all, but unfortunately not all will receive Him. From what you are saying, I can assume that you've received Christ. Continue to praise Him and always keep Him first in your heart and life. God bless!
Why do you assume Christians have a narrative? Do you believe the Bible?
This is what happens when someone refuses the word of God. When a person refuses the word of God they are refusing God. (See John 1:1) If any man denies the Lord, he shall be denied. (see 2 Tim. 2:12)
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
What God is really saying in Genesis 1:3 that He IS (Hebrew: hayah) Light instead of "let there be light". The "I AM" is light "I AM" light.
This is the first message to the earth that had become without form (with the form of His righteousness) and void of the knowledge of God and the heart of mankind became darkened. Mankind needs to have the knowledge of God declared unto him.
This is the message which we have heard of Him and is declared unto us: that God is lightand this message is found from the beginning in Genesis 1:3.
1 John 1:5 KJV
(5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
The message was from the beginning in Genesis 1:3 that was heard..the Word of life. This Word or Saying of life is that "God is light" and in Him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:1 KJV
(1) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
This light shines within our very own hearts when we hear the voice of Jesus who comes to open up the Scriptures to our ears. It is the witness of God within us about His Son whose voice we are to hear. It shines in a dark place (the heart). The bright and morning star arises within our hearts when we hear the voice of the Son interpreting the Scriptures.
2 Peter 1:19-20 KJV
(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
"And there was light"as we are to become children of light when we have that light within us. While we have the light, we are to believe in the light so that we may be children of light.
HOWEVER, that being said, the person is not wrong at all as one can lose their salvation. I am sorry for those who have lied to you saying otherwise by picking and choosing (usually from brother Paul-it's as if they follow him rather than Jesus), but in taking in what Jesus says and the Bible as a whole, you certainly can. I would recommend in reading all of (1-3) John ( 1 John 3:8-9, 1 John 1:6, ! John 3:6 specifically), Hebrews (Hebrew 10:26 specifically), and the Book of James regarding the point, but we can look at one simple parable from Jesus at the end of Matthew 18 ( Matthew 18:23-35 specifically) completely dismantling the false and utter lie from the devil OSAS doctrine. For we see a man who have sinned, was cleansed, forgiven, and saved and, then after this he sins again and is taken by the tormentors (hell). We also got Romans 11:22 (The same Paul these Calvinistic OSAS guys like to quote from), "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be [cut off.]" Couldn't be clearer.
These people, are liars from the flesh, not getting their the truth from the Bible or the Holy Spirit but from either their flesh or men of the flesh learning from other men of the flesh. God Bless you, brother. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and Guide you, there are liars in many places, including here as you can see above (excluding Mishael). Blessings! ;)
We have examined the Scriptures and come to different conclusions. This is the beauty of the Word of God. Let us all keep learning and growing in His word.
I will leave you with some final thoughts and questions concerning these particular topics.
The information concerning the two separate and distinct accounts of the creation of man and the separate instructions given in Genesis 1:26-29 from that given in Genesis 2:4-7 can clearly account for the creation of mankind in general and the creation of Adam in particular.
If we are all ancestors of the singular man Adam you say accounts for Genesis 1:26-29 AND Genesis 2:4-7, how have we such distinct and separate races upon the earth after 6000 years of interbreeding?
One race mating with the same race does not produce another race or all the races; neither does migration.
If we are all derived from one man, than we would only have one nation to speak of because we would all be of the same lineage! How then do we in the third dispensation of time (when we are all with God again) still find a distinction between the house of Israel and the other nations? In Revelations 21:24, we find the different Kings of the nations bringing their glory and honour inside the gates? (i.e. they live outside the gates; and we are all with God at this point in time.
We are ALL of the family of God, i.e. of one blood ( Acts 17:26, 1John 1:7); but all are NOT of the same lineage.
If God makes a distinction between the lineage of Adam and the nation of Israel from every other NATION upon the earth, shouldn't we!
If the word aion was translated to eternity every time its used in scripture, it might sound like it works for some verses, but if you consistantly translate it eternity there are many verses that would make no sense.
Matthew 25:46
And these will go away to eternal (age lasting) punishment, but the righteous to eternal (age lasting) life
1 Corinthians 3:18
If anyone thinks he is wise in this eternity (age), let him become a fool so that he may become wise.
3. We don't have true 'Free will' to choose God
There is the will of the flesh, and the will of Christ
You either walk by the spirit, or you walk by the flesh.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
John 1:12-13
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
So God is the one that allows us to believe in him, we get no credit. We cannot boast that we chose God because we didn't, he chose us. That verse plainly states that.
So how can we say men will be subject to eternal damnation when God didn't allow them to believe in him? God is all loving right? And all powerful, so he has a system in place in which he will purify all men through fire, all will be saved.
God Also hardened Pharaohs heart, which left Pharaoh with no free choice to let the people go. If man had free will; God could not override their will, but he does.
Exodus 4:21
And the Lord said to Moses, "When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.
The Bible tells us that in the Beginning of Time, God created the Heavens and the Earth. He also created vegetation, animals and mankind. The Bible also tells us the name of the Creator is Jehovah. In the New Testament we find Christ with God at the beginning. And Christ created all things. So we find that:
1. God is a God of Order
2. He created all things that exist, visible and invisible
3. God created with a Plan and Purpose
4. That Purpose is found in Christ
5. Without Christ, nothing was made that was made
6. All things were created For Christ
7. Before Adam and Eve were created, God had a Plan
8. That Plan is called His Eternal Plan of Creation
9. It is also called His Plan of Redemption or Salvation
10. Christ, as the Sacrificial Lamb, existed before Abraham
11. Christ as the Sacrificial Lamb existed before Adam and Eve Sinned
12. Our Salvation through Christ was decided before The Fall
13. When Adam and Eve fell, God's Plan for Creation was already working
14. We are part of God's Plan of Creation as the Redeemed by His Love and Grace
15. We can love God, because He first loved us
Jesus Christ is the only living sacrifice acceptable to God The Father, to save mankind from their sins. God
The all male Trinity is a lie. It is a "false truth", and a doctrine of Satan that have been taught in churches for thousands of years as truth.
Howerer, All males cannot produce children, spiritually ir physically. If the world is to look up to God in heaven to see the perfect order of a family, and they are lied to that God is just The Father with a male Son, and a male Holy Spirit, and the all male union produces children, with no Mother anywhere to be found, then that's a major reason why woman have been treated like dirt in some countries, and there is so much disorder in the world today.
Jesus Christ is the son of God The Father, and if Jesus is also our everlasting Father, as the lying scribes say; that means that you and me, The True children of God have the same Father, and that makes Jesus my brother.
My brother can never be my father.
This is truth, not heresy!
The lying pen of the scribes changed some of the scriptures into lies?
"How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made He it, the lying pen of the scribes is in vain." Jeremiah 8:8
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning was The Word{Jesus Christ}, and The Word{Jesus Christ} was with God The Father, and The Word was God." John 1:1
"26 And God{God The Father and The Word,Jesus Christ, God The Wife, God The Mother} said, now, WE make man in our image, after our likeness, and WE give them dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
27 "So God created man in Their own image, in the image of God, they created man, male and female God created them." Genesis 1:26,27
Praise God for His forgiveness!
As soon as I came in, I saw all the comments. The Holy Spirit said one word:
FELLOWSHIP.
That's what we do here, mostly lol. I was reminded of a couple of things: Genesis 2:19, God brought the animals etc to see (with pleasure) what Adam would name them. That's a lot of critters so I'm thinking it was a daily time together.
Genesis 3:8, and they heard the voice of God !!! Walking in the garden in the cool of the day. I know I like walking, early evening. Forget the sin and stuff... God likes to walk with us. It could happen if we were ever in tune with Him.
Watching in the night before Him. Listening. Talking to Him like he was in the room too?
Fellowship. We were made for all kinds of fellowship, but primarily with God, through the Holy Spirit. He's NOT a floating ghostly vision: He is a Person. He would comfort us if we would let Him!
Watchman, Watchman, what do you see ?
Since you are all excellent searchers of the Word; here are some places of scriptures concerning 'fellowship' between us and God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Jesus for his saints.
Psalm 130:6, Psalm 19:2, 1 Corinthians 1:9
Ephesians 3:9, books of John 15, 17
Philippians 2:1-2, 3:10
1 John 1:3, 6, 7. And more to discover...
One time I was reading Ezekiel and got to the Valley of dry bones. When God said for him to prophesy! Every hair on my body stood up and when he said THUS SAITH THE LORD...my knees gave way.
He is so majestically Powerful, it takes your breath away.
You can have a relationship /fellowship with the Godhead!
Those scriptures will change from words on a page, to the living Word Of God! Alive, living in your heart, your mind, the text you write.
You all need to ask the Holy Spirit for the Gift, of discerning of spirits. Covet the best gift: word of wisdom. Receive it. Gifts and callings are irrevocable.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. (Also continue on thru 2:2) The fear you feel is NOT from God, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. 11 Timothy 1:7 But satan, the liar who comes to kill, steal & destroy has gripped you. Cast off his lies IN JESUS NAME!!!!! I pray this helps to bring His peace into your soul. Get into the Word & see what God says, then you'll know the truth, & satan's lies will be more obvious to you.
In 1 John 2:1 it says that if you sin and Satan drags you up before the Throne of God, you have an ADVOCATE (sitting at Gods right arm). Jesus, your Advocate and attorney. He checks the Lambs Book of Life, sees your name written in it, and your case is dismissed for lack of evidence. Your sins have been blotted out with His blood.
It doesn't mean we can run amok and sin all over the place. We are to put ourselves in the Holy Spirits leadership, teaching; conviction when we do sin.
Fear hath torments. That's a demon with many little demons. It's their job to shake your faith in Jesus. The spirit of death causes some people to take their lives. They know they have no rights to do any of that to a Jesus trusting Christian.
In 1 John 1:9 you will learn to run to the Cross if you do sin and confess; be forgiven; renewed. I go there a lot.
We are washed clean by constantly renewing our minds with the Word of God. Your Bible. If we don't furnish our "homes" with Bible teaching; prayer: demons come back around to see if you have an opening for them. You can make them leave!
Say what you've learned: IT IS WRITTEN... and speak your scripture that you've planted in your heart.
You'll get so strong that you'll be able to help other people get freed as well.
Now go read Romans 8:1-2. Read all of Rom. 8. Read Book of John 8:32
You did good coming here :)
As well, apart from our divergent views on, say, the Rapture, then we also have to add the type of manuscript being referred to & to non-Greek readers, which Lexicon is being used. I think of JWs & their understanding of John 1:1: we understand, from Textus Receptus as "..and the Word was God". JWs read in their New World Translation: "..and the Word was a god"; thereby removing the Deity of Christ. What an incorrect use of an article can do!! Blessings as you feed on the Word.
A. Was Christ in God's initial Plan of creation? Titus 1:2, 2 Tim 1:9, Rom 8:17f, Eph 1:4, 3:10-11, Isa 44-48
B. Did God create man so Christ could come to save him from sin's penalty? Heb 10:5, Gal 3:16, Rom 11:36
C. Why create man? Did God of necessity have to create man? Heb 2, Gal 3:16
D. Does God support evil to accomplish His Plan? Rom 9:22-24
E. And what about Satan? Did God put him in the Garden to tempt man? Genesis 2, Job 1:12, Matt 4:1, Lk 4:2
To A: I don't think anyone can argue that Christ was not in the initial Plan of creation, given Jesus created all things. Titus 1:2 and 2 Tim 1:9 are unequivocal. The Plan of Redemption was drawn up before anything was created. We can legitimately conclude from that, that the coming of Christ in a human body ( Heb 10:5), was intentional. Redemption was not offered in reaction to the Fall. Jesus prayed to the Father to, "glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed". 1 John 5:20, John 1:18.
If all things were created for the sake of Jesus ( Col 1:16), doesn't it seem obvious that Jesus was part of the Plan of Creation? There is no indication in Scripture that Jesus was an afterthought? In these verses, we are told that Christ's incarnation was in the original blueprints, before mankind was created. Acts 2:23 Eph 1:4.
What did Jesus mean when He stated in John 8:58, "Before Abraham existed, I Am"? Keep in mind that it is Jesus speaking. Was He simply saying He is God? Or was He saying He as Savior existed before creation? That is, Christ existed. Not Jehovah existed. Christ existed and He is God. John 1 attests to that. In John 17:24 Jesus says God loved Him before creation. Loved who? God loved God? No. God loved Jesus, the Savior.
Rev 13:8, 17:8 also reveal that prior to the Fall, the names of the saved were written in the Book of Life. What's up with that? Jesus came before the Fall.
Very sorry to hear about your situation, yet at the same time thankful that you're being open about it. We men make wrong choices at times and it is painful to see the effect it has on our wife. You have been open about your wrong - now consider 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is great and can forgive all our sins and mistakes; He can also help those we've wronged so they can forgive us too, and out relationships can heal. I will pray for you, to accept God's forgiveness and also for your wife that she can forgive you; and that you both can find joy and peace in the life God has for you. God bless!
