Discuss John 1 Page 7

    Hello brother Ronald,

Thanks for sharing your understanding. We do disagree on this one. You mention John 3:34-35 which are very important verses. Literally, that second part of Verse 34 is that God has poured out His Spirit in its fullness upon Christ. He is all God! So, the principle is that He's the only one that has and speaks the words of God. In Colossians 2:9, Paul tells us that in Jesus is all of the Godhead in bodily form, everything there is of God and bodily form! God did not pour out His Spirit by measure but rather in His fullness. In order for me to believe that Jesus could have sinned, I would have to deny His deity. I would have to deny that He is God.

Now, in John 12:49-50 which you gave, I do agree that Jesus is saying these aren't my words. These are the Father's words. And the last half of Verse 50, Jesus says, "whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." Exact words! Not independent, not on His own, but they are the Father's words. When Jesus came, He didn't represent Himself. He represented God.

I'm sorry, but I do have to disagree with you on "why Jesus's name is called the Word of God." He was not called the word of God because He spoke God's word. There is no correlation between John 3:34-35 and Revelation 19:13.

The word "word" in Revelation 19:13 is the word LOGOS. It is the same word used in John 1:1, and also throughout the beginning of Chapter 1. LOGOS is the Greek word for the word "word." Jesus is called the word because He was the great thinker behind the universe and was already in existence at the time of physical creation. He was always in existence. He was the great thinker behind the universe, and He created all things.

    Blessings!

    Re.12:3-4 "The Red dragon" (1 of 2)

"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads./And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth"

Both wonders occur in heaven. This is clearly based on the everlasting covenant." And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." (Ge.1:4) So both wonders are separated only after the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. Darkness which was upon the deep showed resistance knowledge of the holy. When God sends Jesus Christ the true Light into the world this rebelliousness in spirit was obvious. John 1:4-5 sums up the quality of the children of darkness. "In him (Jesus Christ) was life; and the life was the light of men./And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." This also shall explain predestination is tied to the bedrock of the Word. Either you believed and made the seed sown in your heart grow or rejected it. "Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."(Matt.15:13)

The red dragon is not the serpent but the body of the children of wrath.

The two wonders signify two nations namely children of light and children of wrath. Respectively their crowns indicate their origin.

The twelve stars indicate the Gospel of God working on the woman; meanwhile ten horns stamp the red dragon as a creature of the Law. "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."(Ro.3:20; Gal.2:16) The beast's authority came from this dragon. "having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy."(Re.13:1). This demagogue is backed by sons of perdition and this spirit of disobedience is evident in our own times. His ten crowns signify the knowledge of sin. Seven heads of the red dragon indicate

    Matthew (Part 2):

What Matthew is presenting fits perfectly to what John said in John 1:14 that "The word became flesh and dwelt among us." You see, Jesus was not born. He became flesh. He has always been in existence. This is why Matthew avoids using the word for birth. He's presenting to us the origin of the Christ.

It also says that "before they came together," which is a Greek word that means before their marriage was consummated.

Matthew 1:20 - But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Verse 20, from a literal Greek translation says, "After thinking on these things." And the English text is really pretty sad here because most English translations say, "While he was thinking on these things." But it's not that way in the original Greek text. It is an Aorist Participle, which tells us that this was after he thought on these things, after he made the decision about what he was going to do.

Matthew 2:1 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, During the days of Herod's reign,

It says "Behold wise men from the east came to Jerusalem. Our English text says, "wise men," but the literal Greek word is the word MAGOI for wise men. It's where we get our English word magic and magician from. They were sorcerers. This could have been translated as "there came magicians (or sorcerers) from the east to Jerusalem." In the English, the words "wise men" sounds like these were just some smart dudes! We think of wise men, and we might think of the three men in our manger scenes, even though that's not even accurate. There were many more than three because they always travelled in large groups.

    Ge.1 "Numbers" (3 of 3)

"And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth./ And the evening and the morning were the fifth day." (Ge.1:22-23)

Upto v.21 what the everlasting covenant has laid out dealt with the seed that was in itself. The word was God and the heaven and earth seeded with the will of God. The life was in Jesus Christ and the quality of it was to bless life in whatever forms it took. "In him was life; and the life was the light of men"( John 1:4). Marine life and terrestrial life alike were to be blessed in the man created after our image and after our likeness. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." (Ep.1:3)

God gives man a body after the likeness of Man glory of which is different from other lifeforms. "All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds." Their glory is considered as one with the body God is pleased to give man. It is for this reason God laid own one fifth the value of it. "f a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep."(Ex.22:1) The man and ox is considered as one since the beast is his livelihood. As a steward he represents the day Five as he is counted one with Christ in his glory. (1 Co.15:38-39).

Everlasting covenant blesses man as a steward so vv.28-31 is on account of ' wherein there is life,". These blessings once released is from everlasting to everlasting.

    Ep.4:5-6 Up and Down" (1 of 2)

"One Lord, one faith, one baptism,/ One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

God is a Spirit,"who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honour and might forever."(1 Tim.6:16). His breath makes man a living soul. By his breath he adorned the heavens. " By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent."( Job 26:13)

God gives St John a vision which is a spiritual event and the key is held by the word of God. Let us consider the Woman clothed with the Sun. "A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:" (Re.12:1) In the v.4 we also see a red dragon."And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads."

This a direct illustration of Ge.1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." The Sun denotes God while the moon under the woman's feet reveals grace which the body, the church can avail of. These stars are witnesses, whom we see in the hand of Christ in the inaugural vision. "The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches."(Re.1:20)

The woman is in labor. "And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born" The man child is what the earth represents.Christ the Man and the child part of man child covers all 'the little ones',- the saints waiting to be redeemed from the earth" Now we can understand why the earth was without form and void.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." ( John 1:4) Now regarding the darkness it refers to the seat of the crooked serpent that is impervious to the Spirit's working. They quench the spirit so speak.

Ps.119:11 "The seed in itself" (1 of 2)

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."

The Word of God is the seed in itself which has come from God to man. So the Bible is the God document and what God has sown in our hearts we need accept as our solemn responsibility.

God is a Spirit. It is sown in heart which is a spiritual space. God formed all hearts alike but not all produce the same yield.

God is a Spirit from everlasting to everlasting. The Spirit in organising the Document deals with His righteousness so the Book is a Manual of instruction 2 Ti.3:16. The only way to be fruitful we have faith to which there is no alternative.

    God blessed man "Be fruitful"

Ge.1:11-12 There are grass, herbs and trees. The Spirit has supplied us sets of three with which the Spirit tells us God is one. (De.6:4) But in his personality there are three facets so the Word is sound as well as a sign. Besides it has a body which explains the examples cited here above. "But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

    "(1 Co.15:38)

God is a Spirit and when God sent his only begotten Son to the world ,the begotten is in the sense that God was the Word. Jesus Christ could claim therefore, "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work" So the Word and Man as a sign gives us the Father-Son relationship.( John 1:1; 5:17)

The everlasting covenant is based on this relationship. Thus when they say "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:"(Ge.1:25) "In our image" refers to the tripartite nature of man. Body spirit and soul are therefore non-negotiable. The seed in itself is the word so there is a spiritual significance when God commands man,"Be ye holy for I am holy" The word of God is a witness in the spiritual space we call as heart.

God gives the seed as it pleased him. The Word become flesh has a body which is a glorious body. So the Spirit refers to Christ coming in his glory, with his holy angels.(Matt.35:31)

    Jesse,

You say that the Bible "CONTAINS" the Word of God. That is far different than recognizing that the ENTIRE Bible "IS" the Word of God.

And in doing so you are relegating different verses, passages, chapters, or even books of the Bible as having different levels of authority.

The Book of Esther for example does not even mention God. Yet every word and phrase in the Book of Esther is EXACTLY the word and phrase that God Himself chose to be written by the human author. Just as is every word in the Bible that Paul or Luke or Isaiah or Moses wrote. We don't need to get into the mind of the human scribes.

And God says this very clearly in 1 Peter 1:21 "For the prophecy came not in old time by the WILL OF MAN: but holy men of God spake as they were MOVED by the Holy Ghost." And this applies not just to certain parts of the Bible, but to the ENTIRE Bible as we read in 2 Timothy 3:16 "ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Christ Himself identifies Himself intimately with His Word, the Bible, as we read in John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

So there is no argument here. God Himself is the author of every word, every verse, every chapter, every book of the entire Bible, the Word of God. It is not necessary for us to understand how this was done. Just that it was done as God declares.

I would never want to hold that the Bible merely CONTAINS the Word of God. That, in effect, strips the Bible of its authority. When, in fact, every word in the Bible, IS the Word of God Himself. And is the reason that we are commanded to "compare scripture with scripture" throughout the ENTIRE Bible.

    Rev 22:18,19 warns us:

"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

    Acts 17:30-31CSB

30"Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, GOD now commands all people everywhere to repent,

31because He has set a Day (Lord's Day, the seven and last Day, or seven and last millennium)when he is going to Judge the WORLD in righteousness by the man He has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead."

    John 1:10-13:

10He-JESUS-was in the WORLD,and the world was made by Him,and the WORLD knew Him not.

11He came unto His own,and His own received Him not.

12But as many as received Him,to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD,even to them that believe on His name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,but of GOD.

    1John 3:1-15KJV

3Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of GOD:therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

2Beloved, NOW are we the sons of GOD,and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall APPEAR, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

3And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.

6Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.

7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

8He that committeth sin is of the Devil; for the Devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of GOD was manifested, that He might DESTROY the works of the Devil.

9Whosoever is born of GOD...His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of GOD.

10In this the children of GOD are manifest, and the children of the Devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of GOD, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Psalm 1143:3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

The clash and contrast between light and darkness is at a fevered pitch in our time. Psalm 7:15 states He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. Sin is a reproach to anyone; Proverbs 14:34 says Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Thus the sins of individuals collectively bring down everyone who is not one of God's children.

My own situation has shown me how elderly people who used to be characterized as having a nice personality show their true nature when running out of options in life. This can have the opposite effect on some who were always nasty; and of course the Lord can intervene; as long as their is breath there is hope; or as Ecclesiastes 9:4 states For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

Proverbs 9:8 says Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Those who God has called and chosen will be drawn through warnings of their sinful state; in fact they will be thankful always to find the remedy as only the sick need a physician ( Luke 5:31). In contrast the wicked cannot love God or rebuke; they will only try to avoid the consequences of their actions through self justification or somehow thinking their "good works outweigh the bad". 2 Corinthians 7:10 says For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Thus; the wicked through conviction are led to self destruction and the righteous have the opposite fate.

The final battle of Armageddon draws ever nearer. May we all be ready at His coming.

    Is.40:9 " Behold your God"

The Spirit cites the coming of the messenger in.v.3. "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." We know from the Gospel of John that he recognized Jesus by same Word that marked him before his birth for his ministry. So what does he say, "And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!"( John 1:36). The Spirit in v.9 rounds it off where the exhortation of John did come from. "O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings," The Gospel tells how Jesus was pointed out to him from the crowd in a public place. So the Spirit the expression "Behold your God!"is tied up with the Advent of Jesus Christ. Zion is established by God in the 'now' and in heaven. (Is.28:16). Jerusalem claimed by David from Jabusites is the city of David (2 Sam.5:6-10). Jerusalem and Zion founded in heaven is the holy city of God open to all saints. "Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."(Ps.50:5). In short the first 9 verses refer to his second appearance in mid-air: "Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him."(v.10)

It is further supported by v.5. " And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."(Re.1:7) All kindreds of the earth is what Isaiah refers to as 'All flesh shall see it together'.

vv.1-2 is pendent on the above. "For she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins." Nevertheless a remnant shall be allowed. Significant is the term" double"- the kingdom is taken away from them. Re.21:25.

    Hi Jaz.

Universalism does not teach that every human will be saved because the sacrifice of Jesus was for the sins of the whole world.

Universalism teaches that every human will be saved whether they believe or accept Christ or not.

Everyone gets saved no matter what.

The bible is what teaches that Jesus sacrifice was for the whole world.

    John 3:14-16

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Just as anyone in the camp beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.in Numbers 21:9, Anyone who trust in the Lamb of God shall also live.

    Here's more connecting verses.

John 1:29 "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the "SIN" of the world.

You noticed I put emphasis on the word SIN here in this verse. It's singular!

It is the penalty of sin that is being spoken of here that was brought in the world by Adam's transgression mentioned in Romans. Romans 5:12-15.

If the penalty of sin was imputed to All men then the Love offering and sacrifice was for all men.

Drop down to Romans 5:18 "Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life.

    John again.

1 John 2:2 states "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

There will be more on this later, God bless.

You gave Richard a good explanation of an angel's calling.

Do you not think that calling of those messengers continues on in the next age and in the ages to come.

John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

Does not Christ, the Son of Man, indwell us.

Are we not a beneficiary of these messengers, and those flames of fire, ascending and descending on Christ?

Is not the parable of the workers in the vineyard symbolizing this, the apostles have gone into the vineyard at an earlier hour of the day that we will, but were not all given the same wage, no matter what time of the day we enter in.

The apostles were commissioned to go into all the world and preach the gospel, that was not possible until they were harvested for this age, and given the office of a ministering spirit.

    Just food for thought.

    God Bless You

    Part 2.

Here is scripture from my earlier post that applies to your question.

1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: (AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY) ...BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.

John 1:7-9 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. "That was the true Light, which lighteth EVERY MAN THAT COMETH INTO THE WORLD.

John 3:15-18. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT BELEIVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.

Here is one that is overlooked. 1 Peter 2:1.

It speaks of those that denied the Lord that bought them.

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, EVEN DENYING THE LORD THAT BOUGHT THEM, AND BRING UPON THEMSELVES SWIFT DESTRUCTION.

The people he is talking about is not saved. They DENIED the Lord.

but the Lord's purchase was applied to them if they would accept it.

    There is no limited atonement.

    God bless.

    1 John 5:16 states:

"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it."

In studying the entire chapter in relation to today's scripture verse we see the contrast between statements related to those of God not sinning and other verses which indicate anyone who says they are without sin are a liar and the truth not in them (actually 1 John 1:8 so I should have said in studying the entire book). I am not studying that but this verse specifically in regard to the "sin unto death" and its implications.

Paul mentions letting a man be given to Satan in 1 Corinthians 5:5:

"To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

That could be one application. Another would be related perhaps to the law and justifiable punishment of a death penalty for homocide. It also applied to adultery although it would appear this punishment was not as common in the time of Christ and especially once the church stated to flourish towards the end of the 1st Century AD. Since the church was being addressed here the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit shouldn't be the cause; although it certainly would apply to unbelievers as the "unforgiveable sin" as mentioned in the Gospels ( Mark 3:28-29; also verses in Matthew).

The context of the rest of the verse shows how we can pray that God will heal and restore a brother caught in sin and once again emphasizes the idea of confessing our sins to one another ( James 5:16). This is also mentioned in the Gospels at initial salvation ( Matt. 3:6) and most often to God Himself in a plethora of other scriptures. Matthew 5:23-24 speaks of leaving a "gift before the altar" and restoring relationship with a brother which alludes to the Old Testament sacrifice but certainly is applicable now. Sin hurts us and others.

    John 1:11-13

11 He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.

12 But as many as received Him (Jewish and Gentiles), to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on His NAME:->JESUS-> Acts 4:11-12;JESUS/JOSHUA IS GOD, NOT the esoteric and kabbalistic and spiritist Jehovah, YHWH, Yahweh, HaShem, Adonai, Yehovah, Elohim, Yahusha,YEHshia, YEHvah.

    JESUS /JOSHUA IS GOD.

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of GOD.

Thus, be Jews or Gentiles, they will be saved if believe in the NAME of JESUS, i.e. as believers in JESUS and obey His Gospel of GOD's Kingdom, that will be established from now on- Revelation 11:15-18.

    1Corinthians 1:21-24 and 30-31

21 For after that in the wisdom of GOD the world by wisdom KNEW NOT GOD, it pleased GOD by the foolishness of PREACHING to save them that believe. (and wish to meet Him)

22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

    23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24 But unto them which are CALLED, both Jews and Greeks(Gentiles), Christ the power of GOD, and the wisdom of GOD. ( Ephesians 1:3-8. take a look)

30 But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of GOD is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.-->Lord JESUS-> the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, AND WHICH IS TO COME, the ALMIGHTY.

    GOD BLESS

    Ge.26 "The Covenant"

The everlasting covenant is not merely provisions made under seven days but it is Person specific. God "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."(1 Ti.6:16). Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. Abraham's blessing came through Jesus Christ- after his likeness'. The same blessing is now passed on to Isaac, who is the heir of promise. The covenant based on After the Man is the only legal covenant since it is validated by God and the Word. ( John 1:1)

Speaking of the seed in itself, Isaac obeyed God by remaining in Gerar. So the word sent forth by God bore fruit in Isaac. He is after the likeness of Jesus Christ and he stands as a double for him because of the word. if the word worked with Isaac, it similarly must work with every other is it not? Faith is what worked with Isaac who became the heir. " He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?/Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."( John 14:9-10)

On day three the provision of the tree bearing fruit referred to believers who stands as double for Jesus Christ. Jesus said, I am the Way" So what is faith with works. Those who follow the way and learn of him, Being branches abiding in him they bear fruits.

Similarly the covenant refers to God dividing the waters above and below the firmament on day two.(Ge.1:6-8)

However much the king of Gerar grudge Isaac regarding the wells his servants had dug, he could not prevail over him. God made the waters available from His store. (26:32-33). The name Beersheba is associated with "Unto this day". The Spirit always has used this phrase in association with Jesus Christ . The covenant worked with Isaac because he was the heir of promise

"But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat."

Here the Spirit refers to the word with the Man component. Jesus defined what the word signified for the earth. "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."( John 5:63). God's commandment to Noah hinged on his Son and his Atonement. The body that God had prepared for the Son had a single purpose. As the Lamb of God he would take away the sin of the world. As the Word become flesh it was determined in the will of God that the world made to appear precisely mirrored the world unseen. Faith of God between Father and Son totally agreed. Atonement held no other mystery than the blood of Jesus is shed once for all. "And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."(1 John 1:7) In the 'Now' of eternal Will there is no correction or modification required. When Jesus gives up his ghost it is tohis Father he addresses and he says,"It is finished." In eternity or in heaven there is no blood spilt.

Jesus speaks of flesh gains nothing without this element of life. For this reason when Jesus refers to outer darkness he referred the spreading of nations from the three sons of Noah.

Noah is now set down as a husbandman even as Adam was. Before the flood he was the double for the Son leading many as Jesus Christ from Judgment. Noah walked with God as Enoch did before him and he was not. Similarly Noah walked with God and he was not. Similar to Elijah. Where the Spirit has drawn a veil do we ask if he died or not? TThey are set down in the Bible for our spiritual instruction. Burden of sin allowed man meat as with herbs.(9:3).

He was forbidden to eat blood.

5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

Ge.4:25-26 "Calling on the name of the Lord"

Blessed are counted, and they bear the name of the Lord. Holy is his name.( Luke 1:49) The Spirit gives us the connection of the name with works. They call on the name of the Lord and faith is the causative agent. We trace here the family of God under the everlasting covenant as distinct from those who belong to the outer darkness.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

26And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of theLord.

The seed in itself is the word of God in our hearts. It has to have a body as it pleases the Lord. This explains a duration of time. So the 'then' refers to 'in the beginning' in Ge.1:1 and John 1:1

    Ge.3

"Cursed is the ground for thy sake."

Law of the Spirit is the Word which was God. ( John 1:1) It was thus from the beginning. So everlasting covenant conferred blessings on man on the basis the Word was with God, where Jesus Christ as the Man component casts his shadow on the covenant. Adam being created in 'our image' recalls the Father Son relationship. The earth the visible world made to appear abides forever because the Law of the Spirit made the unseen worlds made to appear. Faith is the lingua franca between these two worlds. So what shall we make of the ground?

"And theLordGod formed man of the dust of the ground," (2.7). God does a few other things to make his world complete where all his creature comforts are met. "And out of the ground made theLordGod to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food."(2:9) "And out of the ground theLordGod formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air."(2:19). The Spirit while organising the blessings to the man addressed both body and spirit. The law of sin and the law of the Spirit respectively rule these two worlds. God also adds his breath which is as personal as one can get. "And breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.". This signalled that God a Spirit made the law of sin subject to the Law of the Spirit. It is thus the covenant is about equal entities God on one part and Man on the other part where Jesus Christ is the 'only begotten Son' otherwise designated as the Man. So whosoever entered into the Fellowship of God with man under the Law of the Spirit and not under the law of sin.

The Law of Moses addressed the law of sin whereas being born again addressed a new creation where the new heart came under the Law of the Spirit. "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."In rejecting Jesus Christ whom God sent to the world the nation of Israel denied the Law of the Spirit.

    Ge.3:15 "Enmity"

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (v.15)

This enmity is primarily of two contrary laws of which the Law of the Spirit established its glory over the man and woman. A proof of it was in the matter of covering. Glory was their covering and they felt no shame over 'nakedness" "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."(2:25). Law of the Spirit is the Spirit of the unity. Being bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh is symbolised in the statement, "And they shall be one flesh ." The body or the church fitting the head is implied in these verses, "she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man./Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."(2:23-24)

"Thy seed" in the case of Eve has to fall under the provision of the everlasting covenant. "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so."(1:11) Those which are not planted by the Father showed by their fruits. "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?..../Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire./Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."(Matt.7:16-20) The law of sin judged the corrupt tree.

God's provision for 'the seed in itself' falls under the day three. The Spirit makes it clear that the Son shall judge the quality. Jesus Christ as the Word become flesh was present ( John 1:1). Blessings conferred in 1:28 included the seed of Eve, every believer on the basis of faith 'After our likeness'

    Hi David.

You asked; "When these verses use the word "world", is it talking about every single person in the world?

    Referring to

1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: (AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY)...BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.

    Yes David here's my understanding.

( John specifically included the Greek word holou, which means "whole, entire, all, complete.

Your second question you asked; "How does your understanding of the nature of salvation fit into Romans 3:10-18? Or Romans 9?

    My understanding.

Because of Romans 3:10-18 the invitation goes out to everyone in the WHOLE world.

Just as Romans 3:20 goes out to everyone in the whole world.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

If the Ministration of death which slew us went out to everyone then the Gospel and a drink of the living water invitation went out to everyone.

If the ministration of death that slew us doesn't goes to everyone there would be no need for the Gospel.

Paul said when the law came we died.

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Romans 5:13.

David here's what we have in front of us and the scope of our debate.

Either God created EVERYONE, then "by the law" slew EVERYONE but only gave the ability to a few to recieve the invitation and condemn the rest to hell.

    Or,, Good created everyone,

by the law, slew everyone and brought light into the world that Light, which lighteth EVERY MAN THAT COMETH INTO THE WORLD, as John 1:9 says to offer salvation to everyone.

    Which do you believe?

John 6:37 states "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

THE INVITATION IS TO THE WHOLE WORLD!

John 1:7-9. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that ALL MEN through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, WHICH LIGHTEST EVERY MAN THAT COMETH INTO THE WORLD.

1 John 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: (AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY)...BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.

( John specifically included the Greek word holou, which means "whole, entire, all, complete.")

Revelation 22:17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And LET HIM THAT IS A THIRST COME. And WHOSOEVER will, let him take the water of life freely.

God loves each and every person ( John 3:16)

an atonement limited by God as a denial of the omnibenevolence of God.

Out of love God sent Christ to atone for the whole world. But nit everyone will respond.

    God bless.

As you know,in the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth.(heaven/singular as if it was only one heaven is wrong, GOD created the 1st,2nd and 3rd heavens, and the heaven of the heavens). In the other hand,in Genesis 1:1 the NAME of JESUS,the beginning, still was in occult because could not still be revealed, the revelation of the NAME of JESUS would be only in the fourth Day,around 4000 years after Adam,i.e.only in the turn from the fourth to the fifth GOD's Day,NEVER before.By the way, without JESUS was not any thing made that was made. When the Word was made flesh-the Word is GOD,GOD Himself,self-executing-,JESUS said to the Jews:My Father works hitherto, and I work- John 5:17.It still was the beginning of the fifth Day or around 30AD.

    John 1:1

1In the beginning(in JESUS) was the Word...and the Word was GOD.

3All things were made by Him;without JESUS was not any thing made that was made.

4In Him was life;and the life was the light of men.

10He was in the world, and the world was made by Him,and the world knew Him not.

11He came unto His own,and His own received Him not.

12But as many as received Him,to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD,even to them that believe on His NAME:

    Exodus 3:13-15

13Moses said unto GOD(unto the beginning-JESUS),Behold,when I come unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,The GOD of your fathers hath sent me unto you;and they shall say to me,What is His name?what shall I say unto them?

14And GOD(JESUS)said unto Moses,I Am That I Am:Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,I Am hath sent me unto you.

15...Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel:The Lord GOD of your fathers,

the GOD of Abraham,GOD of Isaac,GOD of Jacob,

hath sent me unto you:this is my NAME FOR EVER...

Exodus 6:3-I appeared unto Abraham,Isaac and unto Jacob,by the name of GOD Almighty( Revelation 1:8),but by my NAME Lord GOD-JESUS-was I not known to them.(NOT by esoteric and kabbalist Jehovah, not by the demonic tetragrammaton YHWH)

With the recent discussions going on, I would like to share some of my personal thoughts about "sinless perfection." These are just my thoughts, so you take it or leave it as the Lord leads.

    (Part 1):

First off, I want to make a point-blank statement. I have been born of God's Spirit, but I am still considered a sinner. I am a sinner saved by God's mercy and grace! I believe this goes for every born-again believer. Some might disagree and say they are not a sinner.

To those who say they are not a sinner, I would point out 1 John 1:8-10. Is it possible to be a Christian believer and also a sinner? I believe the answer to that is yes! I say yes because in the flesh, we still have the capacity and capability to sin. God does not remove that when He saved me. Does anyone believe that their flesh has been made perfect? Does God save the flesh? Or does God save our spirit?

There is no place in scripture that tells me that I can reach a state of sinless perfection while I am in this body of flesh. A believer who has been born of God's Spirit has the sinless and perfect one dwelling inside them, but the person themselves are not without sin. Put another way, God's Spirit in me is perfect and sinless, but I myself am neither perfect nor sinless. Does this mean that I am constantly living a sinful lifestyle? Absolutely not!

But sin goes deeper that we can imagine. As someone here has recently said, we sometimes sin without even realizing we've sinned. That is a factual statement. The bible says that which is not of faith is sin. Wow! If I understand correctly what faith is, it puts things into perspective. The word faith comes from a Greek word that literally means persuasion. It's when God's Spirit persuades me to do something or believe something. That's what faith is.

    Greetings in Christ JESUS, SeanPaul'

Yes,certainly,as you said,GOD HIMSELF manifested himself to the Hebrews through the OT;which was written by the twenty-four elders, starting with Moses, understand?By the way,JESUS said GOD is Spirit- John 4:24-,what is the name of the invisible Spirit of GOD?Well,GOD had said in the beginning- Genesis 1:26(the beginning is JESUS,who is the LITERAL IMAGE of GOD,He is GOD)-, yes, GOD had said:"Let us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness", then, both are One, and as we can see, since ancient times, since Genesis, GOD revealed He would be made flesh.

By the prophet Isaiah, who is one of the 24 elders,GOD again revealed He would be made flesh, and around 2000 years ago He LITERALLY fulfilled His promise- John 1:14-and what is the NAME that GOD chose for He Himself? The NAME that GOD chose for He Himself was/is JESUS - JOSHUA-. Luke 1:26-the angel GABRIEL was sent FROM GOD(the Word is GOD,GOD Himself,self-executing) unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, and said to Mary:behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a SON, and shalt call his NAME JESUS. He shall be great, and called the Son of the Highest: the Lord GOD(the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing) shall give unto Him the throne of His father David.

Remember: The Jews said to JESUS: John 8:41-we have one Father, even God. And JESUS said to the Devil, father of the Jews-Yahweh:It is written,Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the MOUTH OF GOD-Mat.4:4.

    Psalms 110:1combined with Hebrews 1:8(plus Matthew 25:11, James 2:1, Isaiah 49:14, Luke 20:42, 1 Corinthians 9:1) -

GOD said to the Lord JESUS:Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy Kingdom.

KJV Psalms 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, Exodus 6:3, Isaiah 26:4 LORD=JEHOVAH; ->JEHOVAH is another esoteric and kabbalistic and spiritist nickname of the father of the Jews.

Luke 16:5 lord=a King or one of authority, yes, see John 18:37.

Thank you for writing out those answers!

This is the order that I was taught and still believe to be true based on my own study.

Acts 8:36-37 are some of the greatest verses about Baptism. Philip gives the conditions for baptism: That the individual must believe with all their heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (this rules out babies being baptized). 1 Pet 3:21 states that it is a figure that is the answer of a good conscience toward God. Based on those two passages, I believe that Belief comes before Baptism.

Now to compare being Born again to Believing, but first, just to define terms, what does being born again mean? It is the same as quickening and regenerating ( Eph 2:1; Tit 3:5). It is a phase of our salvation when God revives us spiritually with His Holy Spirit. We are physically born dead in trespasses and sins ( Eph 2:1-3). When Adam cursed mankind in the garden of Eden he died spiritually that day. God told him he would die the day he ate the fruit ( Gen 2:17), but Adam lived up to 930 years ( Gen 5:5), so either God lied and the Devil was telling the truth ( Gen 3:4) or a different type of death occurred than physical that being spiritual.

Rom 8:7-8 are powerful verses about the state of the carnal mind. Without God's gift of the Holy Spirit we can do nothing that is pleasing to God. Without the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, we only have the old man, the flesh, the carnal mind that hates God without the new man and spiritual mind that wants to please God.

Okay, back to the order of B's... 1 John 2:29 says "every one that doeth righteousness IS born of him" not shall be born of him. If a man does righteousness it is proof that the righteous spirit of God dwells in him and that he was born, quickened, and regenerated to have a spirit that loves God.

Additionally, John 1:12 mentions those who believe on him, but the verse does not end with a period. The rest of the thought is that they WERE born of God ( John 1:13).

    Born again, Believe, Baptism.

    Annotated Genesis- Ge.1:1

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

    Heaven

" For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."(Ps.119:89)

"Forever"refers to Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forever."(He.13:8) Thy word is eternal that determines the coveneant between the Father and the Son as everlasting. Moses was a servant whereas Jesus Christ as the Son is the fulfillment of Law. Thus blessings stipulated in the covenant is for all believers where faith determines his pedigree. "And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her./The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there." In his Son every believer has hs foundation in heaven. That is faith. His works is his life. "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."(2 Ti.2:19; John 1:4). In Jesus he abides. " In him was life; and the life was the light of men." So his life of witnessing is here and now while he is founded on Zion in heaven. Nothing less.

Heaven also signifies his life of testimony. Trinity as memorial must be as a sign. "And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes."(De.6:6) Jesus of Nazareth showed holiness of God with his life. His testimony as evident in the multiplying loaves was as testimony to the Word forever settled in heaven.

    Our Commission.

    Part 1.

    Revelation 1:12-13.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks.

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Here in Revelation, chapters 1,2, and 3 the Lord is addressing his Church.

In this thread I want to focus on the candle stick. (Which is actually a lamp stand.) "Light barer".

The Lord identifies the Lamp stand in verse 20) the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

    Revelation 1:20.

Also, what's important to see is Jesus's placement in the picture drawn. He is in the midst of the lampstand.

This is a picture of the Menorah.

It is to be oiled filled and never burn out.

WITH THAT IN MIND LETS GO TO THE GOSPELS.

    John 9:4.

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

    John 1:4-12.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

It is clear Jesus came into the world to give light to a dark world and testifies to the world that its works is evil.

    John 7:7.

    On to page 2.

    Ge.14: 8 "Trinity- soul" (1 of 2)

"And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God." Melchizedek presents himself as the king of Salem and as the priest of the most high God. He represented Trinity the same memorials before the throne of God mentioned in Re.5. Body and Spirit was signified in his own person. What was his gift to Abraham? Bread and wine represented the humanity of the Son signified by bread and wine. As Jesus reminded his disciples," Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body."(Matt.26:26-29). As with bread the wine refers to his body. "Drink ye all of it;/For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins./But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom." Notice the expression, 'until that day'? Drinking it new as with the new song refers to the glorious body which is distinct from what the disciples drank 'unto this day' in the company of the Son of man. Meat and drink of doing the will of God while in physical bodies we do in remembrance of what we drink in the Father's kingdom. This is established by the Lamb slain who was worthy to open the book.(Re.5:6). The same in flesh was seen. "The Lamb of God" that takes away sin is how Spirit of the Father revealed it to John the Baptist.( John 1:29).

    Hi Tdianne.

We are dealing with two things here when concerning dinosaurs.

    1) When were they created.

    2) When did they die.

By the scriptures we know that the Lord created everything that was created. John 1:3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Also, by the scriptures we know that death came into the world by Adam's sin.

Romans 5:12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

By Scriptures we know that that extends to all creation, even the very ground we walk on! Genesis 3:17. and

Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

The whole world groans and is waiting on a redemption, meaning restored to its formal intentions.

So, this may atleast help us with the "when" the dinosaurs could have died.

certainly not before Adam and Eve because death had not entered the world yet. (Possibly the flood)

Some hold the view of a gap theory between verses 1 and 2 in Genesis 1:1-2. as a possibility when dinosaurs may have been created.

Would you like for me to get into that?

    God bless
