If we confess our sins, the Lord is more than willing to forgive us our sins!! that 's why Jesus died on the cross for us sinners, For our past sins, present sins and the sins to come! That doesn 't mean that we can continue to sin, cause we 're forgiving anyway... NO................ Numbers 14:18 1John 1:9 Romans 11:27

John tells us how God cares for his people. By sending his son, God completely destroyed the devil. Galat. 4:4 "when fullness of time was come ". If we accept his son we will finally see him.

Hello Mark: It is not my word. According to Peter on the day of Pentecost he gave the answer on how to become saved. During this dispensation of Grace a person needs to follow Acts 2: 38 to become saved. Then you have to continue to live saved according to the word of God. Yes, in order to know that a person has the true Holy Ghost they have to speak in other tongues as the spirit of God gives the utterance. That spirit is the Holy Ghost. So according to the word of God if you have not the spirit of Christ a person is none of his, Romans 8: 9.

A believer lives righteously to the extent he is abiding in Christ Who lives within the realm of that believer s righteous spirit . In fact, 1 John 1:9 makes it clear that a believer s soul can be cleansed of all unrighteousness! Therefore, it is possible for a believer to live consistently righteous i.e., perfect , to the extent his heart is clean of sin 1 John 1:7.

Hello Mark: I thank God for his Word and the truth of it. Find a Pentecostal Church that is truly teaching Acts 2: 38 so that you may get the correct Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. May God continue to open up your understanding of the scriptures. If you are not filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance, may God complete his work in you and give you this wonderful gift. My heart is overjoyed.
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna Robinson are you saying the only way to be saved is to speak in other tongues? and to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ? or maybe you agree that sin will never enter into heaven and we must be sinless in order to enter heaven? are you saying the only way to know if somebody is sinless is by them speaking in other tongues?
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna Robinson Thank you so much for your guidance and direction. I do have an open mind and not closed up to my own thinking. You have convinced me to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to honor him and stop sinning. The definition of remission is to stop. We must stop sinning and be spotless without blemish to be considered worthy to partake of the rapture. I believe God will honor those that are sinless without blemish that may be many of different denominations through out the world and not only those that speak in other tongues We must be sinless no matter what belief we come from. and he will meet us in the air before his wrath starts. and return for the 1000 year reign.

Hello James A person must first follow Acts 2 38 in order to be saved. Then you can truly be counted as one of his. Romans 8 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. See a person must be born of water and spirit in order to be called a true son or daughter of Jesus Christ who is both Lord and Christ.

John is the voice of Jesus Christ, PREPARING THE WAY OF JESUS CHRIST.
  • Edmond Acquah- brokay on John 1:23 - 10 years ago
Making the way straight means preparing or organizing the hearts of the people for the coming of Jesus. To prepare the hearts means to change their current states of the hearts for sin, confusions and uncertainty about the word of God.

Mark, Revelation was to the seven churches of Asia. John was asked not to seal up the words because the events would soon take place. After Jesus 'messages to the church were written, the language becomes apocalyptic or figurative. Nero, the beast did vile things to Christians. They needed a message of good, encouragement and Jesus gave them that hope and that justice would come about. The application for us is to be diligent and lose any attitude that would prevent us from being fully devoted to Christ and His body, the church. We need to make sure our lamps for Christ do not go out.

  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
I agree God will not shorten the days of his wrath, but he will shorten the days of his elect to what they will endure and meet them in the air, I believe that to be the rapture, those that are left, some will not partake of the beast, It would not be easy to give ones life to God as Jesus did at that time in order to be saved, today is the day of salvation
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 10 years ago
Part 2 of 2 In Romans 13 11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. We are not going through the tribulation, 1 Thessalonians 1 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come . The tribulation has not come yet. The saints of God, those who have put on the name of Jesus Christ will not go through the rapture. Jesus even talks about this advent in Matthew 24 37 thru 44. So if he was talking about us going through the tribulation why would he turn around and talk about us going through the rapture? And besides we know how long the tribulation period will last 7 years. He is not going to shorten those days because it was prophesied and prophecy has to be fulfilled.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 10 years ago
Part 1 of 2 Hello Martha Simply put that scripture is talking about how the days will be shortening now during the Grace Age. Haven t you notice how time seems to be flying by so quickly? I am not only talking days, but months, and years? How the New Year role in and before you know it we are at the end of it before we truly realize. Everyone talks about how time is just flying by, but no one has realized this is God speeding up time. If you read a little further up Mark 13 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter . What do you think Jesus was talking about when he stated flight ? The answer is the rapture.
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna I would like someday to understand why we have a different understanding of belief and yet we have the same understanding of the Holy Ghost I do not get it.
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna I understand that both of our beliefs involves the Holy Ghost, I have seen the same as you have seen as in speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance, I believe as well it must be as the spirit gives the utterance not us, I have never seen nor grown up with anybody that would ever try to "teach " how to speak in other tongues, I know for a fact that is the spirit that gives the utterance, I also know that there is only one faith and one belief and believe that. Since there is two different beliefs that the Holy Ghost is prevalent in I wonder if maybe neither of our beliefs are believing in the one faith and one belief maybe we both got it wrong, maybe the Holy Ghost has nothing to do with the one faith and one belief, maybe the one faith one belief has to do with believing that God gave his only begotten son and the Holy Ghost is extra and not a requirement to be saved. show me the requirement to have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues in order to be saved
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
I never knew that baptism could be so meaningful to honor Jesus. probably because of my own lack of understanding and lack of believing.
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna I think you may understand I mean no disrespect, God has shown me that being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ would be honoring to Jesus, when I get baptized again I will request it be in the name of Jesus Christ to honor him.
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Will God honor those that are truly dedicated to him and are without sin? I think probably so and would remove them from enduring his wrath, the great tribulation
  • Mark on John 1 - 10 years ago
Martha thanks, I am thinking that maybe God will shorten the days for those who are truly without sin and lived their lives unto God, hence the rapture. I am thinking that there will be those who will not partake of the mark of the beast and yet be saved for the thousand years. I am thinking that their will be some believers go through tribulation that were not without sin but the believers days that were truly dedicated to God and without sin hence the rapture may be shortened and may not have to endure the tribulation which is God 's wrath. Maybe the elect of God will be those who are truly without sin and dedicated unto God and do not deserve to endure God 's wrath
