I think only a minority of Christians believe once saved, always saved, because the Bible doesn't support that idea. Most people would agree that Hitler probably won't be in heaven, despite going to church when young and possibly identifying as a Christian at one point. Judas was a Christian (a literal Christ follower) and betrayed Him in a huge way, and it's my personal belief that he is not saved. There's countless examples of Christians who unfortunately have turned their back on Jesus and started following the ways of the world or the devil himself. Jesus warned His followers to obey and fear God and avoid sin and obey. People today are making claims that you don't have to do anything at all. I believe God is a fair judge.
This doesn't mean we're saved by effort, it's grace. But Jesus clearly said if you love Him then obey. Christianity is an action requiring effort. Those who are genuine Christians following Christ will be saved, those who aren't are in danger of not being saved. I believe Bible backs this up very well. Plus, one can have assurance of salvation, but no one is actually saved until judgment day. So, people that claim they're saved, and can enjoy sin and doing evil 24/7 are mistaken. That idea only comes from satan. They will call out Lord, Lord and Jesus will not know him, just as the Bible says. Jesus said most people won't go to heaven- narrow is the way. Some accuse others of being legalistic, but they'd probably accuse Jesus of that too: John 14:15.
Just a few relevant verses...

James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

Romans 11

Romans 14:12
1 Peter 1:5 - "...salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
God's kingdom will not if the Holyspirit blasphem itself!
You see the notion here in Luke 11:17-18. But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them,
( Every kingdom ) divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
What is the works and purpose of the Holyspirit?
Here's a few:
:He seals us.
Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
If God seals us can we unsealed ourselves? If so what does a seal mean?
He teaches us:
1 Corinthians 2:13. WHICH THINGS ALSO WE SPEAK, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Would the Holyspirit teach man to blasphem the Holyspirit?
1 John 2:27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Anyone who thinks a Christian can blasphem the Holyspirit may not understand what blasphem the Holyspirit means.
Now lets revisit Luke 12:10 and see who Jesus is talking to and who the warning goes out to.
Luke 12:1 (KJV) In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the PHARISEES, which is hypocrisy.
Chapter 11 the Lord is giving the woes to the Pharisees.
Chapter 12 he's taking to the disciples about the leaven of the Pharisees.
He's not warning the disciples of blasphemy of the Holyspirit. HE CHOSE THEM AND HE CAN KEEP THEM.
Once we are saved and sealed by God's Spirit, it is Satan who wants to take us away. He can't take our salvation from us because in order for him to do that, he would have to remove God's Spirit from within us, and he can't do that.
As was stated, God has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. If He never leaves, how can we leave?
If we walk away, guess what? He's still there inside us because He said He will never leave. A person who does leave was never saved to begin with.
1 John 2:19 says "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
This is one of the important verses of the bible. John is saying the spirit of antichrist has come into the world.
But there are people from our physical fellowship, our church that left us to go follow the spirit of antichrist, the false teachers, and the false teachings.
But, he says the reason why they left us is because they really were not one of us, because if they were one of us they would have remained with us.
John says don't worry about it because if the person belongs to Christ, they're not going anywhere.
If Christ is truly dwelling in a person's life, even if they did leave, it would not last long before His Spirit inside brings them back.
If we want to find out if we really belong to Christ, the best test would be to try and walk away. If you can stay away without any conviction, then His Spirit was never in you and you were never saved.
But I can tell you from experience, if His Spirit lives in you, you will not be able to stay away for long.
The conviction will always be there because He will never leave us nor forsake us, even if we "walk away" from Him.
If I may add a little more to the truth you have shared, I believe there are only two types of people in this world, saved and unsaved. A person is either a slave to Jesus Christ or a slave to sin, no in-between. I believe that salvation is a present-tense condition of everyone who has been born of God's Spirit. A true believer who is being led by God's Spirit would never think it is okay to commit sin or to live a sinful lifestyle.
There are many who claim to be Christians but have never been born of the Spirit of Christ. They may go to church religiously and participate with the believers and give the appearance of being a believer, but still be void of God's Spirit dwelling within. Those are the ones who eventually walk away. To the others in the church who assumed that person was saved, they will say "See, he walked away and denounced the whole thing, so he lost his salvation.
This was the same with Judas Iscariot. He was part of the twelve but he was evil from the start. Judas was never saved and then lost his salvation. Jesus chose an evil man to fulfil the scripture saying that He would be betrayed. When Jesus said have not I chosen you all, and one of you is a devil, none of the other 11 knew that it was Judas. But Jesus knew, and that is why He chose Judas.
I shared earlier about the people in the book of Hebrews who were being "enlighted" to the truth, but later on turned and walked away. Those were Hebrew/Jewish people. They were never saved, but people want to use verses in Hebrews to show that salvation can be lost. I know of a couple of verses in Hebrews that are being used to show that salvation can be lost, Hebrews 6:4 and Hebrews 10:26, and also one in Peter's writings, but none of them is talking about saved people losing their salvation.
The bible speaks about those who profess to be Christian and later on walk away from it all. That's given to us in (1 John 2:19). They walk away because they were never saved to begin with!
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Revelation is about the Kingdom of God; CHRIST IN YOU. It applies to every person and their relationship with HIM. It's hidden in symbols. The Spirit has to reveal these truths to you.
Have you bought are sold anything in the last few days.

1 John 2:22-24 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
In these two verses, it is the Son and the Father just like all through the scriptures they are the Son and the Father. And now the Son is on the right-hand side of the Father. When Jesus returns the Father will tell the Son when to come for the Father is the only one who knows that day.
God exists as three persons but is one being, having a single divine nature. The members of the Trinity are co-equal and co-eternal, one in essence, nature, power, action, and will.
With all sincerity I feel if I confess the above trinity, I am denying the Son, saying the Son is God, who is by scripture the Father. I do not deny the divinity of Jesus Christ.
You do not have to reply I just felt you should know the reason I do not believe the trinity.
May the Lord be with you, Ron
Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is what is known as "The unpardonable sin!" It is the only sin that cannot be forgiven.
John 2:2 says that Jesus Christ is the propitiation, or satisfaction for our sins. And He has died for the sins of the whole world. Everybody! He died for the sins of the whole world. But this does not mean that every human being will be saved.
Every human being, when they stand before God on their appointed time, will not have to answer for their sins. Jesus died to forgive the sins of the world.
However, what they will have to answer for is what did you do? How did you respond when the Holy Spirit came to you and testified to you about Jesus Christ? What did you do?
Blaspheming means to express rejection.
In John Chapter 16 Verses 8 to 11, Jesus says that when the Holy Spirit comes (After He ascends up into heaven), the Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.
So when the Holy Spirit comes and convicts somebody of their sin, and of the righteousness that can only be found in Jesus Christ, and if they reject Him, they will be judged for their sins.
If they reject that conviction and that testimony, they have committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It is the only sin that a person cannot be forgiven for, the rejection of Christ!
If you are saved now, you cannot commit blasphemy of the Holy Spirit because when God's Spirit (Holy Spirit) came to you, convicted you of your sin, convinced you of your need to surrender your life to Christ, you did not reject Him but surrendered your life to Him.
A person who rejects that testimony and refuses to surrender to Christ, that person cannot be forgiven. And that's what it means to commit the unpardonable sin, or blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.
Thank you for conversing with me on these couple subjects. Please let this be the end of our discussion with all respect.
About The Word of God not being Jesus Christ is your own belief. It is not from the pits of hell. Hebrews 1:1-4, Revelation 1:17-18, Revelation 2:26-27, Revelation 3:20-21, Revelation 19:11-16. We are to honor the Son the same way we honor the Father, John 5:21-23. The Messiah/Christ being the anointed one of God. (1 John 2:23-24.
Just to straighten up a little with reply about receiving the Holy Ghost. I never said my experience, or experiences, was "feeling peace". Me stating most people in the world would not believe my experiences is because they are supernatural things. It was not me who chose God, He chose me. I know not why. All glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord and our Father in Heaven.
I don't know of any Scripture of people receiving the Holy Ghost just by "feeling peace". Although I do know of one that doesn't state it was after a water baptism nor did they speak in tongues. Acts 11:11-18.
I hope our discussion shall keep you from discrediting other believers in the Lord just because they don't speak in unknown tongues. We should all try to help one another with our faith in the Lord. Hebrews 13:1-2.
Peace be with you.
God shall never allow His Son to be crucified afresh...

Colossians 1:27
This chapter is a vision of the finished work of the cross.
Revelation 15:1 ....having the seven last plagues, in them (plagues) is filled up the wrath of God.
These plagues had to be fulfilled before the kingdom of heaven is possible.
(vs 2) The sea is symbolic of people ( Revelation 17:15) the fire is symbolic of Christ ( Hebrews 12:29) these have become one with Christ ( John 17:21)( Ephesians 2:15).
(vs 3-4) The praises to God for their salvation.
(vs 5) Access to the temple is near. The temple is symbolic of Christ. Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up ( John 2:19)
(vs 6-7) The wrath of God is now ready to be poured out.
(vs 8) .....no man is able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels be fulfilled.

Colossians 1:13 .... and hath TRANSLATED us into the kingdom of his dear Son
You have posted truth. All glory to our Father in Heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace and Blessings be with you brother.
(1 John 2:5-6 But whoso keepeth his Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.
He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
( 1 John 3:1-10 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in Him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Indeed we are taught by God's Spirit. Thanks for sharing John 2:27. One word that stands out to me in that verse is the word abideth/abide, MENO in the original language. MENO is a word that denotes permanency, God's Spirit permanently abiding in us and us in Him. I agree that He is our teacher.
You and I have a different understanding of Revelation 12:14 on who this woman is and the other symbolisms in that verse, but that's okay. I know there are different theories as to who this woman is. One group says this woman is Mary Baker Eddy, which I totally disagree with!
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received of him abideth in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
Revelation 12:14 And to the woman (symbolic of the church, which is us) were given two wings of a great eagle (symbolic of the kingdom of heaven), that she might fly in the wilderness (the desert where you are taught by the Holy Spirit, which is Christ), into her place, nourished for a time, and times, and half a time (symbolic of the day of the Lord which began at John the Baptist crying as a voice in the desert and has continued now for 2000 years.

BE BOLD, fear not it's Christ words, it's his WORKS.
You call the Lords prayer "insulting" and "phony"?? You discredit some books of the Holy Bible yet cling to and wrest verses to fit your own "understanding" from other portions of the Holy Bible? Stating "only one person here has knowledge of what I say" and you think I'm on high?? You tell me to keep my nose in the OT and preach "everyone shall be saved"?
How's a prophecy from Daniel for you? Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. As I would think you know these prophecies are about the end times. It does not say everyone shall be saved and receive everlasting life. Like the heresies you are seeming to preach here.
If what I stated will not lead you to examine yourself. If a prophecy from the OT, Daniel, is not enough to make you rethink your "understandings" you believe in. All I can do is pray for you. You are in my prayers.
Again I posted a verse from the Holy Bible that contradicts with you posts. I am only doing this to lead you in the right direction and that is Jesus Christ. Not knowing gematria and knowing all the lies and deceptions of satan in this world. Focus on the Lord and follow Him.
I went to that site of that man you posted saying he was real smart or something. I could only watch his video for a couple minutes after seeing how rude he was cursing others out. That is not of God.
(1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Set your heart on producing good fruit of the Spirit for our Father. God Bless you.
In 1 John 2:18-19, he writes, "Little children, it is the last hour; and according as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they were of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, in order that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
John is stating that those who are of the antichrist came out from the Christian fellowship. He teaches that the reason they chased after false doctrine and a false spirit, not staying with the fellowship of believers, is because they were never truly believers.
Sadly, the same is true today. There are many in our churches professing to be Christians, but who have no desire to hear or obey the truth of God's Word. Indeed, many so-called church leaders are not even teaching the Word of God from their pulpits, because they don't want to lose the numbers of people attending their services.
But the truth from God's Word still differentiates those who are truly saved from those who are just talking and acting like Christians, being devoid of the indwelling Spirit of Christ.
This is what the Bible teaches about salvation. The change in emphasis from salvation by God to salvation by man is part of the apostasy of the last days. Jesus said believers would be known by their fruits, not by their human works ( Matthew 7:16).
Sorry this was long but I wanted to explain why I believe salvation is permanent, cannot be lost!
He also said, in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter into the kingdom of heaven; but the one doing the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? And in your name did we not cast out demons? And in your name did many works of power?' And then I will confess to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, the ones working lawlessness."
Yes it means love, Agape I believe this love for the brothern is assisted by the Holyspirit enabling us to be completely given over to one another, John has a lot to say about this love in his gospel and his letters. 1 John 2:5.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
This verse seems to suggest when this particular love is present in you for the brothern " here by we KNOW we are in him. This is part of the gifts of the spirit and also a fruit of the spirit. And also the love Peter struggled with in the flesh but when the Holyspirit indwelled him he was committed till his death.
1 Corinthians 13:13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Psalm 118:8,9; Jeremiah 17:5-10; Psalm 146:3; John 2:23-25. The Truths you seek are written in them.
Corinthians 13:8 is where it is written. Corinthians 13 is a great chapter on love/charity.
God Bless.
