1 John 2:25
"And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."
But to receive this promise we must do what?
In addition to believing that Christ is our Savior, repenting from sin, receive baptism, and finally and most important, we must live for Christ, by rejecting this world, picking up our cross and following Jesus. Just tells us how he expects us to "live our lives" in order to receive the promise of eternal life!
Matthew 16:24
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Most Christian's today (including me) want to believe they are already Saved, and no matter what - we already have OUR salvation. We want to live our worldy lives, accumulating more money, buying more material things, participating in all types worldly things to get ahead and make our lives easier. We seem to fill most of our days attending sports events, and all types of other worldly things, rather than pursuing Godly activities that Jesus tells us we must do.
The big question that we need to ask ourselves: Are we exchanging our "promise of Salvation" for worldly things"? And are we living our lives as commanded by Jesus?
Jesus never tells us we get a free ticket to Salvation by just believing, and we don't receive our salvation until we receive it at the great judgement day. So then, if we want to receive "the promise" don't we need pick up our cross and follow Jesus?

Galatians 2:16-21 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith OF Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we seek to be justified BY Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 2:1-4 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
I do not normally respond to you since your beliefs seem to be so contrary to what the Bible is teaching. You seem to believe that God the Holy Spirit is communicating directly with you in some articulated form, perhaps in a dream or a vision or a voice or a tongue, apart from the Bible. And that belief runs absolutely counter to what God very clearly declares in Rev 22:18, which is a very dangerous place to be and I would never want to be in that position.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1 John 2:1-6 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Once the Bible was completed, God the Holy Spirit only communicates to mankind via the scriptures and He opens our understanding as we search the scriptures "comparing spiritual with spiritual". "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God", the Bible.
The True Gospel is circumscribed by the Bible alone and in its entirety. And that is the only Gospel I want to be following.
3. The word of God the Bible is either it has happened, or it is happening, and it is for us set as an example for how we should live before the Lord our God. it is also very current and accurate. See Malach 3:16 and Jude 1:7. thus
it is written in Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
and in 2 timothy 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work
-And There are prophecy which will come to be fulfilled like the coming of the ant-Christ but remember there are many anti-Christ today.
as it is written in 1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour
4. anyone who turns away from sins makes himself a prey it is written in.
Isaiah 59:15
Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
-So the devil does not care for anyone who calls himself Christian but is not committed. But if anyone is committed and obeys Gods word and does all is written in the bible then Satan shifts all his attentions to them and hence the wiles of the devil. Therefore, put all the Armour of God not one but all. as it is written in Ephesians 6:11
11Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Please read part 3.

Sorry brother did not see your last post. I know we differ on this, as long as we inspire each other to study both sides we are doing ok. I feel the word antichrist has been used so many times having people looking for the wrong thing. This beast will ascend out of the bottomless pit, Rev. 17:8 we don't know what he will look like, the man of sin.
The word antichrist is not in Revelation, and where we see it in 1 John 2:18,22 1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7 all are describing people or the spirit of antichrist, deceivers not a beast. There has been people from the time Jesus ascended claiming to be the Messiah and will deliver them from Roman oppression up to revolts before 70 AD. There was one in Acts 21:38 and some others and probably some today.
2 Thessalonians 2:4, which says this beast will exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped. Above God, or whatever people all over this world worship, this will be a world event for people of all religions. I agree the deception will be great and he may appear to many as Christ or what or who other people worship. I am sure many will accept him as the Christ.
In Revelation, we have Satan, the beast, the false prophet, and fallen angels on this earth, all working against God, Jesus, and all who have faith in them, it will not be a pleasant time. From the time Satan and his angels are cast down to earth and Satan gives his power, seat, and authority to the beast I only see 3.5 years not 7. And I do not see anyone taken out only the second coming of Jesus. 7 years only comes from Daniel 9 whether that turns out to be true or false. Hope this makes some sense.
God bless

The parable of the wheat and the tares should be alarming to everyone; and necessary instruction. ( Matt. 13:24-30). It is said that the wheat and tares are indistinguishable from one another before they are fully ripened. It appears from this parable that God has His purposes for these two groups to remain until the end of the age. Most probably; this is testing for those who ARE true believers to ensure that they won't fall for the temptations of this world as well as false or compromised doctines as well as a lifestyle of sin. Again; our society in general doesn't seem to be finding too many newcomers to churches because of it is a novel practice; or the world is being turned upside down ( Acts 17:6) which were characteristic of the church in Apostolic times.
However; the "damnable heresies" ( 2 Peter 2:1) are increasing along with 1 Timothy 4:1-2; etc. are invading former solid denominations so that a person can have a sense of respectability and pride in church attendance that tells them what they want to hear. Part of this; of course is the result of decades of permissive society and decline of morals; both within and without the church walls; I have stated before no doubt that the destruction of marriages is what I consider to be the primary initial cause especially post World War 2 of what we see today.
A primary example here is how people look at 1 John 2:1-2 on confession of sin and forgiveness. While it is true that Christ's death took care of all sin; past and future; we still have to confess sin; and if someone has the Holy Spirit in them they cannot be content with sin ( Galatians 5:17). a LIFESTYLE of sin such as continual adultery; theft; fornication; and other actions means that ultimately we don't trust God as to His warnings such as in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 as to reaping what we sow; and don't trust Him to be in the driver's seat in our lives and our souls.
You have the testimony of Jesus IN YOU.
1 John 2:27 The anointing IN YOU will teach you all things .....
God gives light at his good pleasure, he want fail, be patient, it's an attribute of God.
It will take your whole life time in the flesh, it's a race, it's a warfare.
Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he (the Holy Ghost) teach knowledge, and whom shall he MAKE to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breast.
Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, HERE a LITTLE, THERE a LITTLE.
Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue (the Holy Ghost) will he SPEAK TO HIS PEOPLE.
God WILL NOT FAIL to bring you to TRUTH.
Zechariah 14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day; that the LIGHT shall not be CLEAR, nor DARK.
Zechariah 14:7 But is shall be one day which shall be know to the LORD, not day, nor night, but it shall COME TO PASS, at EVENING TIME (the end of that day in the flesh and the beginning of the next day in the presence of God) IT SHALL BE LIGHT.
God bless YOU.
Introduction
Psalm 50:21 warns of judgment coming for those who think that God is just like them; i.e. a God of their own imaginations or choosing. I have given many posts in regard to understanding correct doctrine; along with the admonition to know God not just know a lot about Him. John 6:45 explains from Isaiah 54:13 that we or "they" shall "all be taught by God."
In addition to experiential knowledge the Holy Spirit in the church age lives within every believer; in fact that implies each member of the Trinity or Triune God ( John 14:23). This has allowed us to be the Temple of God now ( 2 Cor. 6:16); which also mentions the "living God" in the verse; yet another evidence that "soul sleep" is a farce. God is not a God of the dead but the living ( Luke 20:38); which also mentions the word "all" as to who lives in Him; for all who are believers.
It is easy as believers to be one sided in this matter; and assume that the most dangerous deception is false religion (or atheism). In this; we also are ignorant of the fact that Satan wishes to steal God's Glory; hence denying the Father and Son in Spirit; but also magnifying himself as though he IS God (1 John 2:23; 2 Thess. 2:4). False Christs; of course are rampant as a sign of the last days. ( Matt. 24:24). This is not even the greatest danger; what is are those who are in the midst of the true believers where the Word of God is preached; somehow comforting themselves in some warped version of who Christ is to them personally. "Remember Lot's wife" is an excellent tract by Chapel Library in Pensacola which I am recommending for this theme in particular as well as for all their tracts that show the "Grace Gospel" (all of Christ; none of us basically). Scripture makes it clear the fate of Lot's wife who turned back ( Gen. 19:26). The tract makes it clear that she had unusually privileges being able to be the only married woman in Sodom who got to hear the Word of God.
These haven't rejected (apostatized from) Christ but have perverted God's Word by their apostatizing from revealed & accepted Truth (the Word of God as given by Jesus & His apostles), and promoted their own beliefs & interpretations, thereby causing many to err & turn to unrighteous beliefs & practises. And I have not shared this here to bring on 'a KJB vs other translation' argument (though there is evidence that any grave corruption of the Word can lead to much error in belief as well).
But maybe we should consider that in light of the many Scriptures that show that a true child of God is sealed, secured, & ministered to by the Holy Spirit, and could never leave nor desire to depart from such a great abundant salvation, that the possibility of what Paul was presenting, is that this 'falling away' could well be that God's Word would increasingly be mishandled in the days after he left this Earth, giving over to a 'doctrine of devils' teaching. That this 'falling away' & the 'man of sin' being revealed, shows just how far Christ's Church has departed from the Body of Truth, and this 'man of sin' could well be a religious person but giving no regard to God's Word, rather submitting his own word as God's Voice. Of course, those who are believers, whether in the congregation of such apostasy from the Word, would soon depart, wanting only to hear the Truth of God's Word, but those who have no such discerning spirit, would readily pay him heed. Even now, as was in the past (1 John 2:18,19), there would be imposters, even among the clergy, that have infiltrated the Church. So I just share this, an option here, as we need to keep the matter open concerning 'apostasy', since Paul hasn't directly stated in what manner this 'apostasy' would happen, whether concerning true believers or concerning God's Word & those professing to be Christian. Blessings.
"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him." 1 John 2:28-29
"Abide" is an action. Some translations say "continue" or "remain" or "keep" in Him. This makes it seem like its a choice and freewill to follow Jesus. That it won't be forced upon you against your will, or that it won't be done for you.
"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4 KJV
Some say those who already know and follow Jesus have no choice but to be perfect and sinless and don't need to do anything, can even love the world, (1 John 2:15) but is that true?
"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:" 1 John 1:6 KJV
Some people assume they are Christians and Christ followers- saved and done and don't have to do anything, because book of life, and all that stuff, right? They think they can stop following Christ and have fun in the world and still get invited to heaven. But the above verse makes it conditional, if you do this, then... But another if... 1 John 1:9.
2 Peter 3:17 - How could someone who already assumes he's saved fall from his secure position like this verse says?
2 Peter 3:14 - It says to make an effort to be spotless and blameless, but some people are claiming that effort is bad, and not making effort is good. So one side is true and one side is false. Man vs. God's word. Who will I choose to believe?
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, MANY BELIEVED IN HIS NAME, ( when they saw the miracles which he did.)
BUT JESUS DID NOT COMMIT HIMSELF UNTO THEM, because he knew all men,
And needed not that any should testify of man: FOR HE KNEW WHAT WAS IN MAN.
( MANY BELIEVED IN HIS NAME,)
( BUT JESUS DID NOT COMMIT HIMSELF UNTO THEM.)
( FOR HE KNEW WHAT WAS IN MAN.)
This group that believed on his name, Could we call these his sheep?
John 6:64-66.
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
( From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.)
"Were these his sheep"?
I believe we all agree these in Matthew 7:23 are not his sheep.
How about this group?
Are they his sheep?
"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.1 John 2:19.
They're all sheep!
Turning back and getting lost is their nature!
It's what sheep do!
But Christ is the great shepherd and he has his own sheep!
What is the role of the shepherd?
What is the capability of the great shepherd?
Answer; John 10:27-28. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
AND I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE; AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND.
Do you see the contrast between
Jojn 10:27 and John 2:25,
1 John 2:19. Mathew 7:23 and
John 6:64-66 ?
Answer; John 10:28-29
now when he was in jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, ( when they saw the miracles which he did.)
but jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
John calls them 'anti-Christs', not only because they "went out" from their midst, but the core anti-Christ belief emerged from them, that Jesus wasn't the Christ, that the relationship of Father & Son was false (vv22,23). How could they have continued in the Church for so long & not be detected as false brethren? How could Judas also have escaped the other disciples' notice? Only when Judas was identified, got up, left their midst, & pursued his dastardly act against the Lord, was his true identity & motives revealed to them. Jesus knew all along who His betrayer was, even as He knows those who are the imposters in His Church. And so we will all grow together until the time of reaping & separation at the rapture.
When we fellowship with a group of believers & we detect that the Word of God is not being handled correctly, we can leave speedily & join another. I doubt that in those days of the fledgling Church, whether there was such an option of finding another group - if one left, as John points out, it meant that their departure revealed their true identity & even their motives for being in the Church. I wonder how many of the cults that we have now, have had their founders formerly in or acquainted with a Christian Church. I think that even before we determine that a believer has turned apostate & gone back into the world, we should understand as John did, 'not all who left us were of us - that it is the Holy Spirit unction in us who enables us to apprehend the Truth & to remain true to the One Who has called us out of darkness into His Light'. Every blessing.

The Living God, who is the Saviour of all men,
Holy men penned the words of God by the Spirit of Christ.
Where does it say holy men translated the exact meaning of God's word.
Only the anointing of the Spirit of Christ can bring you to truth of the of meaning of God's word.
The Jews had the WORD written in Hebrew, the gentiles have the WORD written in Greek, we have dictionaries and concordances; yet no one understands the WORD written; because the WORD is God, a living man, not LETTERS on a page written by flesh and blood.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing you have received of him (THE LIVING WORD) abideth IN YOU, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the SAME anointing teaches you all things, and is TRUTH, and no lie, and even as it (the anointing) hath taught you, ye shall abide IN HIM.
God bless you
This I believe was the position & concern of each of the NT writers, not just in calling out evident sin in the Church, but for each one to examine themselves whether they were even in the Faith. In some cases this was clear (as in 1 John 2:18,19), and in others such as Hebrews 3:12-14: "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end", a little unclear. The message here was for each one to encourage & counsel those being led astray by sin or deception, that they might turn back to holy living & not face the Lord's Discipline. But if they persisted, not holding their "confidence stedfast unto the end", it only showed that "they were not all of us", only displaying a show of godliness & religious experience, but inwardly knowing their deceitfulness & hypocrisy.
The Word is abundantly clear that the believer could never acquire or sustain his salvation by his efforts, rather, by the working of the Holy Spirit indwelling him ( Titus 3:4-7; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:24,25). Unfortunately, alongwith the oft preached Gospel of salvation, i.e. 'from God & sustained by man', comes the rarely heard messages of 'life & power given to believers to know, to pursue & enjoy, which comes from the indwelling Spirit'.
It was nice to read your literal renderings of the verses you shared.
(Part 5):
Many scriptures were written to show believers that some among them, who professed to be Christians, were actually not saved. John wrote 1 John so those who were saved would know that they have eternal life ( 1 John 5:13). In this letter, he listed many evidences, so that salvation could be proven among genuine believers.
In 1 John 2:18-19, he writes, "Little children, it is the last hour; and according as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they were of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, in order that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
John is stating that those who are of the antichrist came out from the Christian fellowship. He teaches that the reason they chased after false doctrine and a false spirit, not staying with the fellowship of believers, is because they were never truly believers. They were never saved!
Sadly, the same is true today. There are many in our churches professing to be Christians, but who have no desire to hear or obey the truth of God's Word. Indeed, many so-called church leaders are not even teaching the Word of God from their pulpits, because they don't want to lose the numbers of people attending their services.
But the truth from God's Word still differentiates those who are truly saved from those who are just talking and acting like Christians, being devoid of the indwelling Spirit of Christ.
There's a lot being said in those scriptures and also these!
John 15:18-21.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
IF YE WERE OF THE WORLD, THE WORLD WOULD LOVE HIS OWN: BUT BECAUSE YE ARE NOT OF THE WORLD, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU OUT OF THE WORLD, THEREFORE THE WORLD HATETH YOU.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
They hated the Lord without a cause!! They hated him for telling the truth! John 8:42-47.
Galatians 4:16-20.
John 15:26.
John 16:12-15.
It shouldn't be surprising when we see hatred from the world and those of the world gravitate toward one of the other and those that are Christ gravitate toward one another!
Here's why!
John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
John 4:20-21.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
1 John 2:3-11.
If Christ spirit doesn't CAUSE you to Love one another then perhaps the world spirit and the father of lies stand in the way.
When the Spirit of truth is taken out of the way then the father of lies will be revealed.
God bless.
Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
James 4:4 - Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

I thought you were on vacation and was not looking for your response, hope ya'll had a good time. What do these verses mean to me? John 17:22-23, the first thing that I see is John 3:16, God's love. He sent His only begotten Son into this world to die for us so that we who are called believe. God's Word, the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God.
The will of the Father that sent His only begotten Son who did the will of the One who sent Him that we may know the only true God. John 17:1-3 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
The antichrist denies this. 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
John 17:20-21 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
May we be as one, one body in love, all working together as Ephesians 4:11-16, and not as Ephesians 4:17-19. It starts with repentance, if one cannot see the need to repent, there is no hope of salvation.
God bless,

what does these verses mean to you?
1 john 2:5-6.
but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of god perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
this is a condition exercised by the influence of the lord being in you!!
so this is uniquely performed amongst brothern!!
john 13:34-35.
a new commandment i give unto you, that ye love one another; as i have loved you, that ye also love one another.
( by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.)
this is salvation at work!!
you shall know them by their fruit! matthew 7:13-23.
one can profess to believe in a grace based relationship with christ or even deceive themselves to believing they have a grace relationship with christ but can't display the fruit associated with what they claim to be truth.
this is not christ "in you"
however, there's the spirit of antichrist in th world.
1 john 2:18.
little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
this is why we examine ourselves.
they lack fruit!
1) they hate the brothern.
2)thet dont inwardly have what's mentioned in galatians 5:22-23.
"love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
they that are christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
contrary to fruit is;
idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:
if we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.
let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
sadly a part of eschatology that won't last a week.
god bless.
