Hello Peggy. You could look up the following Scriptures on Jesus Christ's Deity (i.e. God's fullness found in Jesus ( Colossians 2:9) & in His Holy Spirit). Jesus' Deity is proved by:

    a. His Names: Hebrews 1:8, John 20:28 (God); Matthew 16:16, Matthew 26:61-65 (the Son of God); Matthew 22:41-46 (Lord); Revelation 19:13 (Word of God); Revelation 19:16 (King of kings and Lord of lords).

    b. His Characteristics: Matthew 28:18 (Omnipotence: all powerful); Luke 6:8, John 2:24,25, John 13:11 (Omniscience: all knowing); Matthew 18:20 (Omnipresence: present in any place); John 1:4 (Life); John 14:6 (Truth); Hebrews 13:8 (Immutability: unchanging); 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1-14 (God manifest in the flesh in Jesus).

    c. His Works: John 1:3, Colossians 1:16 (creates); Colossians 1:17 (sustains); Luke 7:48,49 (forgives sin); John 11:41-44 (raises the dead); John 5:27 (judges); John 15:26 (sends the Holy Spirit).

    d. His receiving Worship: Hebrews 1:6 (from angels); Revelation 5:11-13 (from other heavenly beings); Matthew 14:33 (from men); Philippians 2:10 (from all).

    e. His equality within the Triune God: John 14:23, John 10:30-33 (with the Father); Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14 (with the Father and the Spirit).

I hope you can see from these few Scriptures that Jesus was not just a special Man or Prophet sent by God, but truly was "God manifested in the flesh". No other man before Jesus' coming, during, or after His leaving this Earth, could ever fully reflect God's Glory, Wisdom & Power. Only God could - and He did this by sending us His Word, made Him a Man, so that He could give His Life as full payment for our sins - but only to those who believe this & place their trust in Him. To some, the 'Trinity' teaching is abominable. But man's salvation depends on the Divine Person of the Lord Jesus Christ - that God could accept no other Sacrifice to redeem & secure people to Himself - only by giving fully of Himself, which is true love for all.

    Hello,

1st pray for wisdom James 1:5-7,

2nd in your spirit you already had a leading to what the beast was

3rd To clarify GOD does still speak through dreams, visions, prophecy : Matthew 2:13, Acts 2:17, Malachi 3:6,

4th The Holy Spirit will teach you: 1John 2:27,

5th The Sword of the Spirit = The WORD of GOD, (as you declared in your dream) Ephesians 6:17, Hebrews 4:12,

6th if You're struggling with addiction & fear of it returning; continue to turn to GOD 'deny the flesh' : Matthew 17:20-21, Romans 8, Psalms 139,

Hopefully these are all helpful & I've prayed for you also as you've asked

Part 5 Cross references and interpretations

The New Testament lists miracles of Christ which can be close enough to likely be the same event which may have varying details revealed in one version; or a different event based on supporting evidence. That would relate to the turning of the moneychangers tables. It appears in John 2:14 and Matthew 21:12-13. The time frame clearly show that it straddled pretty much the whole ministry of Christ (was several years apart). The case in Mark would likely be right before the crucifixion as the text indicates; although for some reason some seem to think He did this 3 times.

Another time frame issue comes from the verses on the signs given to the early church on healing and tongues that apparently were widespread events at that time. No one can doubt that the scriptures prophesied such things as for instance Isaiah 53 makes clear. The controversy is what is applicable today. It is important to understand that since no one since the time of the Resurrection has escaped physical death than there is a specific application to the dispensation (or time frame) that we are in prophetically. What we can claim as promises need to be looked at with the light of scripture; for even with the case of Paul; Satan gave him a thorn in the flesh and Phillippians 2:27 where Ephaphroditus nearly died and was "sick to death". We can certainly apply a total healing to eventually involve the mind; body and soul or spirit of an individual and also say that He can expidite certain miraculous events when He chooses. We can look to verses on material blessings as well and legitimately claim certain promises; but of course as James warns us if we do it to consume upon our own lusts or are doubleminded we shouldn't expect results.

Finally; it is important to make sure we are correctly interpreting a a verse as well as connecting it with an appropriate cross reference; and good teaching stills help along with growing in wisdom/truth.

John15:5 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The Lord commanded; If you love me...Keep my Commandments.

In loving the Lord, what does it mean to love?

In continuing the scripture which you have been meditating upon.

38] This is the first and great commandment.

[39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

[40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

It seems like keeping his commandments is the key...to Love your neighbour..

But what does it mean to " keep " his commandments.

Many of the Preachers of this day will say that it is to do, perform, pertain to what the Lord commands.

But I believe it to be something more intimate and sweet.

The Law was our schoolteacher, to show us that we could not and therefore can not fulfill all the law, because our heart is darkened, evil and corrupt with sin.

John 2:24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Thus I believe "keeping" his commandments it to rather Love his commandments, as loving the Lord.

If we remember what the Gospel of John had stated when the Lord was about to lay down his life for us. He prayed unto the Father that we would abide in him and he in us as he abode within the Father.

Joh 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

    John 15:4-5

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

To love him with all your heart, soul and strength is to abide in him...just as you have been the whole week which you thought upon such things...to inhabit the word of God as he inhabits you.

    Hi Savannah.

Welcome to the site, I would say yes seek to surround yourself with Christians "that show fruit produced in their lives or at least those who want to grow in the grace of God."

In a Christian community whether at church or work, school, website, etc. etc. there will all ways be those who are not Christian or some what we call babes, "newly Christians"

I would concern myself with continuous reading and studying the bible and let God gather his sheep. He will put you in the midst and there will always be those who err around you, perhaps it's a chance for you to witness to them.

Follow the great shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ and depart from the world and those who pretend to be sheep will depart from you.

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

God bless you on your journey.

    Hi GIgi.

    Part 1.

    Great and important question Gigi!

At the same time can get really confusing!

There's what we call saving faith. We're saved by grace " Through faith". Ephesians 2:8. Here's an element of election with the faith being performed is actually supplied by the Spirit. It is obvious everyone is not supplied with it; however, the invite goes out to everyone. God knew who would believe.

Is believing what it takes to initiate God's faith to the believer? Are they separate? Are they the same?

Here's a few verses where believing is used in the Bible. It's obvious when it comes to salvation It's "what" you believe not just believing in God as seen here in James 2:19.

And then we have John 6:28-28 and Romans 10:9-10 Where belief is directed towards something specific.

God given faith is a fruit and is accompanied with other fruit.

There are results in God given faith as seen here in James 2:14-18.

Faith is not trusting in something! It's trusting in someone and that's the Lord.

Believing is not believing in something It's believing on someone and that's the Lord. We are to believe on the promise given to Abraham as mentioned here in Galatians 3:16-22. We are heirs of the promise by faith as Isaac as mentioned in Galatians 4:28.

We are given a promise by God and given faith to believe in that promise.

The invitation goes out to all as mentioned in 1 John 2:2.

Everyone is given the ability to comprehend that light as mentioned in John 1:4-8. "But all will not"

A person has to fall upon that rock and know he needs a savior.

This is where the 10 commandments come into play. The commandments were meant to drive one to Christ. Some from out of darkness and some from dead works.

Part 2 an article from J Vernon Mcgee.

    Okay. I understand what you mean but why did Christ Himself say this;

    Matthew 5:19

In Revelation 12:17, we see that the dragon went to make war with the woman's seed (metaphorically Israel) and they keep The Commandments.

Furthermore, in 1 John 2:3-4, John states that only those who keep God's Commandments actually know Him. The Law is still in effect. If not, how do people differentiate between right and wrong ?
  • Cindy - In Reply - 2 years ago
Dear Ayen O, God speaks to us through His Word. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to comfort us and guide us through conviction. His answer to your question about going to hell is in John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

How to be sure you are saved:

    1. If you confessed your sins and asked God to forgive you, He did. John 6:37 says He will not deny those who come to Him for salvation.

    2. Rest assured that Jesus paid for your sins on the cross. In John 19:30 Jesus says, "It is finished." There's nothing else to be done except call upon His name for salvation--if you have done that, you are saved.

    3. Assurance comes from that little voice inside us Who guides and convicts us of the way we should walk in Christ--the Holy Spirit is that voice. 1 John 3:24

    4. A changed life. When we are saved the Holy Spirit transforms us into a new creature. He shreds away our old self and created a new being, a new heart. That doesn't mean we are perfect, doesn't mean we won't fail or fall into depression. If you had an encounter with Jesus that changed your life, you are saved. 1 John 2:3 says, we know we are saved if we keep his commandments.

If after prayer and being absolutely convinced that you are lost and therefore bound for hell, please know this:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:9-13.

    God Bless!

From what I understand, believers in Christ are no longer under the Old Testament law. But isn't the fruit of the indwelling spirit to be the NT teachings, not to do an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth? That the law is fulfilled in one word: to love thy neighbor as thyself ( Galatians 5:14).

So it's not that we have to worry about turning from sin (the law is covered), but the NT teachings must dwell within a Christian or else the truth is not in him (1 John 2:3).

    Hey Kathy,

As Jacqui said there is a lot out there. The mark we see in Rev. 13 is a mark, or the name of the beast, or the number 666 in their right hand, or in their foreheads. This will not be a mystery at the time, people will not accidentally take it they will take it willingly.

My understanding: the hour of temptation, not taken out, but strengthened to go through, Rev. 3:10 and 2 Thess. 2:7-12 corresponds with the false prophet, by miracles, great wonders, and power was given him in the sight of the beast causing people to take the mark and worship the beast or be killed. A similar thing was done by Decian during the persecution in 250 AD. Instead of a mark, it was a signed and witnessed certificate, that people had to sacrifice to the Roman gods or else.

The number 666, many apply to people, Popes, and other things. This number goes way back in history, it is tied to false god worship, Paganism worship of the hosts of heaven, astrology, the 36 groups of stars, and when added 1+2+3 up to 36 = 666.

The word antichrist, many teachings and millions of dollars have been made on this word. It is in the Bible in 1 John 2:18,22 1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7 and according to John, there are billions of antichrists in the world not just one. It is also associated with the man of sin, the son of perdition in 2 Thes. 2:3. What is interesting is perdition has the same meaning as the name of the king the angel of the bottomless pit, destruction, Rev. 9.

In Revelation, there is the dragon (Satan), a beast, a false prophet, and the mystery Babylon the great. Satan is cast down and out of heaven permanently Rev. 12, he gives his seat power and authority to the beast, Rev. 13 we see this beast ascends out of the bottomless pit, Rev. 11:7 Rev. 17:8. The beast is given 42 months (3.5 years), not 7.

A study of this will carry you all over the Bible. Rev. jumps, what I mean, is parts of the same event will be in another chapter.

    God bless,

    Marilyn:

If God is causing you to want to study his word, the the KJV is the best.

The Spirit of Christ, through chosen men to write the words down, wrote the bible.

That same Spirit is actually the life IN YOU, you are just his body.

This life IN YOU will cause you to understand his words, just start reading, and each time you read more and more truth will be given to you, just talk to the life in you, he will answer, It's like talking to yourself, because he is you, and you are him.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received of him ABIDETH IN YOU, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    John 14:6 ....I AM TRUTH .....I AM LIFE ......

This is what ABIDES IN YOU, Christ himself, as the Holy Ghost, and truth will set you free.

I don't have to do research, it is not the Beast.

Revelation is the revealing of Jesus Christ, not something in the future, Revelation is the mystery of entering the Kingdom of God, it's relevant to every person who studies, it has the same meaning to the person studying 1900 years ago as anyone studying today. The Beast then is the same Beast today and will be the same Beast 2000 years from now. The answers are through God's word, most in the law and prophets, it's not a free ride you have to study God's word and ask the holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding, and to repent of the teaching of man.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing ye have received of him abideth in you, and you need not that any man teach you; but the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Hi Debra, this is a common question and there's already an FAQ for that: Link

My thinking is if Jesus's first miracle was turning water into alcoholic wine, then no, it's not a sin. But moderation, as in everything, is key. It doesn't mean its not playing with fire, especially for some people who struggle with self control or addiction. To me, if someone is drinking every day, especially to "self medicate" or numb emotional pain, that is an addiction and alcoholism. That's very unhealthy, is a false crutch, and only makes life worse.

To anyone who was told it was unfermented and had zero alcohol, John 2:9-10 disproves that. I was told that in church too, but later found out it was a lie just to support a certain narrative. The Bible is the truth.

    God bless

    Hey Someone, who cares,

Who is an antichrist? Christ is a translation of the Greek word Christos which means anointed one. The Hebrew word is Mashiach translated Messiah which means the anointed one, the chosen one. One who God fixed for a specific purpose set apart to fulfill God's plan.

Jesus said many times that He/Him sent me, Matt. 10:40 Mark 9:37 Luke 10:16 John 5:30 and many more times. Also, Jesus said He came down from heaven not to do His will but to do the will of Him who sent Him in John 6:38, and Jesus said this in John 6:35-40.

We see when Jesus was baptized, He was anointed not with oil but with the Holy Spirit/Ghost, Matt 3:16 Mark 1:10 Luke 3:22 John 1:32, and John 3:34-36 Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit without measure. Peter confesses and puts clear the Messiah/Christ, and the miracles, wonders, and signs God did by Him Acts 2:22, also read 23-39.

"God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit", manifest Greek word phanero; revealed, made known, 1 Timothy 3:16 John 17:1-8. God gave His only begotten Son, God sent His Son who was come in the flesh, tempted as you or me, and the spirit of antichrist is denying that is true, John 3:16 1 John 4:3 2 John 1:7. Christ is not part of Jesus name it is a title, Jesus is the Messiah, Jesus is the Christ.

A liar is he who denies or says Jesus is not the Christ/Messiah, and he is an antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. If we deny the Son, we have not the Father but if we acknowledge the Son we have the Father also, 1 John 2:18-24. You must come to your own understanding not mine, with open mind, prayer, and the Holy Spirit guiding you, you will.

These verses about the antichrist paint a picture of a deceptive seducing spirit and the people that have been deceived, just like Eve 2 Cor. 11:3. My understanding of these verses does not refer to the beast that will ascend out of the bottomless pit that has come to be called the antichrist.

    God bless,

Hi. You may care to look at these Scriptures: 2 John 1:7 (denial of the divinity of Christ; see also 1 John 2:22 & 1 John 4:2,3). These Scriptures speak about the spirit of anti-christ in those who reject Jesus in both His Person and Office, but THE coming anti-christ is not named in the Bible.

    1Timothy 2,

    1. Being in the written WORD therefore 2Timothy 3:16,17,

    or

    2. Different debates on the meaning

In the Concordance meaning in 1Timothy 2:12, "to teach" also meaning "to learn" which explains alot given the culture of the middle East, not allowing women to learn. Broading the limitation even more. Looking into 1Timothy 2:9, brings much perspective into these verses.

    Note: 1Timothy 2:13,14,

Distraction, attention even seduction, persuasion ect. From both female & male. Verse 1Timothy 5:2, 2Timothy 3:1-7, 2Timothy 3:12,13,

    1Corinthians 14:34,35, Revelation 2:20-29,

Titus 2:1-5, different word for teach is used. From Greek translation.

There has been the debate that Sunday School teachers within the American Churches that don't "allow women to teach " primarily lead & teach the male children: setting a foundation. ?

Bethel Church Redding California Pastor Chris, I believe the Pastor's name is) says the words were said as a contradictory statement like absurdity. From the Greek wording & how it was stated. He also felt the emphasis was on "usurping", however in my translation the word "or" breaks that part. I bring this up because it's the only argument anyone has given on this, that made me wonder. Another argument is: only Paul says this, not Old Testament nor Jesus. Was Paul addressing only Corinth & Timothy? Was Paul addressing cultural issues?

Here is one additional Prophecy, it allows women to prophecy covered. 1Corinthians 11:5-16,

We ourselves should do our best to follow scripture, GOD"S WORD, The HOLY Spirit in obedience to what we should & should not do. 1Corinthians 6:12

    Therefore let's consider much.

What does teach mean? Within the Church? Isn't that the job of The HOLY Spirit? John 14:26, 1John 2:27,

Should we all refrain our speaking more, within the Church? Especially words not in edification, away from unholy speach? What is the gathering of the Church? 1Corinthians 11:20,

    Hopefully these are helpful

There are 4 Gospel accounts written about Jesus' ministry Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. That might be the reason John's record is after the other 3. It's more deep into study, to understand John better, much study & reading the Bible Old Testament, has helped me.

John 2:2, translated from Greek means atonement, related to Romans 5:11, Leviticus 23:27-32,

    Jesus Is Our Advocate

    1 John 2:1-6

    1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

    2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also the sins of the whole world.

    3. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

    4. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

    5. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfect: hereby know we that we are in him.

    6. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

    Marilyn Mitchell,

The comments & questions are answered primarily on volunteer basis. My education was in Law, maybe that's why I like to stick to evidence straight in scripture, not hearsay, or adding to facts. I believe there are many well educated volunteers in this vast team that stretches all around the globe, throughout the USA, & has an occasional post from French, Spanish but the site has, at this point says it will stay in English only for now. Because of the vastness of geographic differences, understanding each others perspectives, up bringings, ways of speaking even slang, can be little difficult at times, especially adding theological words. Acts 4:13,

Jesus said He would send us the Holy Spirit & 1John 2:27, that The Holy Spirit will teach us, John 14:26,

    James 1:5,

    Hopefully this is helpful

Does God use vessels of dishonour and nations to perform his will?

I believe so, here's a few reasons why

    Romans 9:18-23.

Habakkuk 1:5-11. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.

They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.

Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.

They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.

And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.

Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.

Another question asked is there such things as demon possession?

Here's what I believe and I'm not sure if it classifies as demon possession.

I believe there's ministers of Satan.

    2 Corinthians 11:14-15.

These are amongst us everywhere we go and can be identified as tares. Matthew 13:36-42.

    EVIL SPIRITS.

Satan is the prince of the world and he influences the flesh. the natural man. and the nations.

    1 John 4:1-3.

These tares may also be seen in Jude 1:1-25.

You can't always identify these tares with their Doctrine, some of their Doctrine sounds very familiar, but what they "seem" to believe in doesn't humble them and in areas of baring fruit they seems to be lacking. This causes a closer look at their theology and you find them taking a sharp left on the path.

    1 John 2:19.

    Revelation 15

This chapter marks what appears to be the Resurrection of the saints of God from the Tribulation which is immediately before the bowl judgments. In that sense surely God's people won't endure the final plagues. This is accentuated by the comment in verse 8; that no man could enter the temple in heaven until the final plagues occurred. There was no more "smoke of the incense of the prayers" mitigating things; and judgment was to be full force.

It is interesting in verse 5 that the "temple of the tabernacle of the testimony" is mentioned. Certainly; those who gave the testimony to overcome reminds us of Revelation 12:11. We must remember that overcoming any of these things; whether it is the image of the beast (which somehow causes people to be killed ( Rev. 13:15); the mark of the beast and the associated number of his name all takes supernatural strength. Again; we need to remember that ALL whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world will worship the Beast ( Rev. 13:8). This shows the destinies of men from before all time were all predestined as WELL as showing Christ was the sacrificial atonement for that group of people ALSO before time began. By default; this means not only are we all sinners and rebels but that literally we would worship Antichrist if he appeared today; and in our hearts Satan is our father ( John 8:44).

These harsh realities are the only rational approach to show how far sin has damaged this nation and the earth as a whole. Today; much of what involves the lust of the eyes (1 John 2:15-17) is virtual reality; minds are controlled with substances (Pharmakeia Rev. 18:23) and people desperately want assurance that life can continue and the party can go on. The danger is when the Lord Himself gives up people to sin ( Romans 1:24). Truly; Isaiah 24:17 describes the fear; pit and snare upon the inhabitants of the earth after He raptures the Bride.

    The CLEANSING OF THE TEMPLE

    Christian Disciplines / by Oliver

There are four accounts of the story of Jesus and the money changers, one occurs in Matthew 21:12-13, the second is Mark 11:15-19, and the third account is in Luke 19:45-48, and the fourth in John 2:13-22.

All four of these accounts although they are written by different people, but all communicate the story in a similar way

The story begins with Jesus entering the temple and being upset with what is going on in the temple he overturns tables and drives out those who are buying and selling.

    In the temple courts he [Jesus] found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle;

he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, 'Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father's house into a market!'

What upset Jesus was the money changers who were cheating people at the temple. Cheating people is wrong but at the location of the temple upset Jesus since this place was set apart for the presence of God

Because each of these accounts was written by different people each one shows a different perspective on the situation that is happening. Matthew, Mark, and Luke quote Jesus as saying

"He said to them, 'It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you make it a den of robbers.' Matthew 21:13

John quotes Jesus differently saying instead Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. John 2:16,19

This does not mean that any author wrote the story down wrong but instead, John is bringing a different perspective.

I listed scripture in hope you would read & the LORD through the HOLY Spirit would lead you. John 14:26, 1John 2:27, James 1:5,

There seems to be several ways to 'fast" before GOD. the most important seems to be, the Heart & actions of the individual or 'people' fasting. GOD points out to deal your bread to the hungry, keep it secret, pray for justice, & do Justice, act justly. It's not to be for self exalting Isaiah 58,

Sometimes people fast (most often) by not eating or drinking for a certain time. 1 meal, 'skipping a meal" 2Samuel 1:12, Judges 20:26,

Some eat regular meals but take things out that are enjoyable like sweet treats, rich meats. Like Daniel 1, Daniel 9,

Extreme fasts were Jesus & Moses. Please only fast what the HOLY Spirit leads you to. Not other's.

Sometimes it's very good to take all media, TV, phones, devices that distract, make noises ect even Christian radio away for a time to focus, be quiet & still before GOD, that's a way to humble yourself before GOD.

In the Bible many times they would rip their clothing throw dust on their heads. Joel 2:13, said don't, but rend your hearts, Matthew 6:16, Interestingly no account witnessed Jesus do that outward display, yet Jesus healed & delivered all who believed. Some people practice a life of types of fasting. Like Jesus, Paul, 2Corinthians 11:27, Matthew 17:21, Mark 9:29 Please read, pray, be still & quiet waiting on the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY while you dedicate time, other enjoyable things unto the LORD & study HIS WORD the Bible, also turn aside/away from things, displeasing to GOD, sin = repenting from or atleast trying & attempting to (if your fasting for your own deliverance) from things like addictions, habits etc..) abstain from wine etc.

that's what I recommend on how to "fast". Again I recommend the scriptures in previous reply.

Fasting is supernaturally amazing, it most definitely changes things, saves lives, delivers, defeats oppression, & enemies.

    Hopefully this is helpful

    Hi Dere.

    Salvation goes out to everyone.

John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 John 2:2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.

Revelation 22:17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let HIM THAT HEARETH say, Come. And let HIM THAT IS A THIRST come. And WHOSOEVER WILL, let him take the water of life freely.

Romans 10:9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

Myfarewellmessagetothissite Matthew 10:14, Luke 9:5. God tells me to go back and convince one more time the people reading this site-must know that God sent his only begotten Son to destroy sins. He died once for all of us Galatians 3:28 in a very powerful way. A pattern that is similar in the Old Testament-sacrificial shedding of blood of the lamb. God knows we cannot save ourselves. So we need a Saviour Jesus Christ. He did it for us All. My prayers are to help everyone understand this basic concept and many will be saved. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. We do not believe in vain, nor we put the work of ALL apostles, most especially Paul who was the last apostle to write plethora of information for everyone to be saved. Remember the Bible is complete by itself. God gave us a free gift of grace Romans 5:15-18. The ten Commandments are for us to see how sinful we are. That is why Paul calls it a schoolmaster Galatians 3:24-25. So when you believe, trust and have faith in Jesus Christ's blood that He shed for our sins Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:2; 1 John 4:10 we die with Him Galatians 2:20. That is the baptism without submerging yourself into the water Acts 1:5, Acts 10:47,Roman's 6:3, Galatians 3:27, 1 Corinthians 10:2. We are not divided Christians 1 Corinthians 1:13-16, 1 Corinthians 12:13. Once you are saved you are sealed Ephesians 1:13, 2 Corinthians 1:22, John 6:27. Jesus sent Paul to seal us Gentiles Romans 15:28. So grieve not Ephesians 4:30. When the Holy Spirit is in you you do not want to commit sin, if you do, you are letting your old self to dominate your spirit. We are walking in the Spirit of God. God already won. Do not let Satan defeat you (on going Spiritual warfare) that is why let every thought to be with God 2 Corinthians 10:5. I came back to fulfill with the help of the Holy Spirit to ask that you trust only Jesus and not yourself here on earth. Let Jesus do the rest. It is indeed true OSAS.Sealed is sealed. You reap what you sow on earth. Peace&joy to ALL.

    Ezekiel 43:18

    Joshua 22:28

    Hebrews 8:5

    Hebrews 9:19-24

Everything is a patterns of things in heavens to prepare the world for the great work done by The Lord Jesus Christ 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

    Romans 3:25

    1 John 2:2

    2 John 4:10

You understand the blood shed by Jesus, you will believe, have faith, and trust in Jesus blood only. You cannot save or trust yourself. He will give you a Comforter to guide you to the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Glory to the powerful God always.
