Discuss John 3 Page 29

Dear Michael: Whenever a mindset of politics and culture dominate our thinking; we are easily skewed into what seems right as patriotic citizens. There seems to be increasing awareness of some nowadays that as they used to say it is "both sides of the same coin" when it comes to which side we vote for at least in this country. Some seem blissfully unaware that there is only a handful of corporate entities responsible for the majority of media today. Even more important than this; is how the Christian entertainment industry (and yes this has swallowed up the whole identities of certain megachurches I'd rather not mention directly here) have abandoned sound doctrine for a sappy sort of lovey dovey Christ; largely of their own imaginations. These prosperity ministries and associated music groups seem to have lacked the privilege of suffering any persecution; loss of property (heaven forbid INTELLECTUAL property rights); or in general been anything besides a friend of the world. No wonder Christ said to the Laodiceans that they were poor; blind; miserable; wretched and naked in their true spiritual condition under the veneer of self assurance and pride. There are movements afoot by a well known persona to somehow declare the O.T. as being antiquated somehow. We are saved by grace; but not supposed to live like hell. I don't know any other way to describe it. Repentance seems to be missed as to an element of saving faith; yet according to Ephesians and elsewhere God grants it to us; and there must be "fruit meet of repentance." Therefore the faith of John 3:16 isn't "decisional regeneration" but God electing to make us part of the beloved. If we love Him; we obey His commandments. The Spirit is the only way we can do this anyway; with His residence in our souls. Hatred seems to not be understood as David stated in the Psalms; we are to hate the sin and love the sinner. All this self assurance is nonsense to those truly Born again who have died to self.

Here are scripture links about Jesus CHRIST ministry, the Bible however indicates HIS open ministry longer than a year on earth.

Luke 3:23, people take that scripture & add holidays & other events to draw a timeline.

    It doesn't actually say that Jesus CHRIST ministry is/was limited to just those years of HIS open ministry because it's everlasting. Luke 1, John 1:1-5, Luke 2:42-50, John 8:58, 1Corinthians 15:47-58, Ephesians 3:9-11, Titus 3:7, John 3:15, Hebrews 5:9, Jude 1:21, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:21, John 17:3, 2Timothy 2:10, 2Corinthians 5:1, 1John 5:11, John 10:28, 1John 5:20,

At this stage in Exodus 40; the Tabernacle was finally prepared; with the ark of the Testimony; and the candle along with the items within the ark and exterior decorations commanded. At this point; the glory filled the Tabernacle (verse 34). Moses and Aaron joined the tent of the congregation and immediately when God's presence came even Moses couldn't enter because of the Presence. It was once again a "fire by night"; and the cloud was there during the day (verse 40); probably the same appearance as the smoke in earlier passages.

The earlier chapters show the great struggles that Moses endured; along with the patience of God and evidence of the Godhead. It would appear that the "Angel" God promised to send that is seen not only in Exodus but other parts of the Pantetauch (can't spell that right) was none other than Christ Himself. Moses had acted as a sort of intercessor; who stopped God from breaking out and destroying all the rebels after the abominable golden calf episode. Christ; of course would be the final fulfillment of the intercessor for all of the sin of God's elect; and Himself be the sacrifice. This seeming dichotomy of wrath and sacrificial love; grace and mercy between the Father and Son gives us some insight into the "hidden things of God" ( Deut. 29:29). Overall; we see how God has the characteristics of perfect love and perfect wrath and yet is not in conflict because of this. We need to remember that it was God who loved the world ( John 3:16) who; because He can't look at sin and we can't endure His full presence and live; that He had to send His son as a propitiation for our sins. This would satisfy the Father to crush His son ( Isaiah 53 and other passages).

Although the sacrifices at the Temple are no longer needed; it appears that a memorial or ceremonial Temple will be on earth in the future ( Ezekiel 48). The earthly construction was a representation of the heavenly pattern; with Cherubim and the design overall.

Let's review what Moses wrote in Genesis 5:1-31

This is the book of genealogy of Adam

...God created man...Adam lived...begot...Seth...and he died

    Seth lived...begot Enosh...lived..and he died

    Enosh lived...begot Cainan...lived...and he died

    Cainan lived...begot Mahalalel...lived...and he died

    Mahalalel lived...begot Jared...lived...and he died

    Jared lived...begot Enoch...lived...and he died

Enoch lived...begot Methuselah...walked with God...and he was not, for God took him

    Methuselah lived...begot Lamech...lived...and he died

    Leech lived...begot Noah...lived...and he died

Setting aside Adam for the moment, let's be little children in our thinking and not wise to play the Sesame Street song:

One of these things is not like the others,

One of these things just doesn't belong,

Can you tell which thing is not like the others

By the time I finish my song?

Did you guess which thing was not like the others?

Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?

If you guessed this one is not like the others,

    Then you're absolutely...right!

The idea that taken = dead is wrong it means both dead and saved/translated depending on if the individual is a subject of God's grace or judgement, just like the words lifted up. To lift someone means both to restore/exalt them and execute/condemned them in scripture often paired together.

    Genesis 40:12

Now within three days Pharaoh will LIFT up your head and restore you to your place...

    Genesis 40:19

Within three days Pharaoh will LIFT off your head from you and hang you on a tree

John 3:13-14 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Always keep in mind the Word of God is a double edge sword that cuts both ways. The same word of faith saves Moses and his people but hardens/judges Pharoah and his people.

u know folks, while listenning to 'uplifting' gospel music ["I feel your spirit" sung by Polish young people & "flash mob" videos ] i felt led to share some thoughts/scriptures with you concernig today's present world situation [i.e. spiritual warfare]. Paul here in this chapter vs.4-5 reminds us what our warfare & weapons are all about, especially if/when sin is in the/our camp, thru out the Bible (KJV) revival & victory is won/guaranteed when we put WORSHIPPERS IN FRONT/AHEAD OF EVERYTHING ELSE (did we forget again?), beginning with a return to the Word Of God! Remember Jericho? The Day Of Pentecost, Hezekiah's revival etc?

The scripture in Isaiah 58:1 says show *'My People' their transgressions & *'The House Of Jacob' their sins! A clear distinction of the two ("why call me LORD, LORD ....). Can you imagine what would/could happen if we put Judah (Praise/spiritual weapons) in front/before PEACEFUL patriotic truckers assemblies world wide, especially in CANADA & AMERICA? What could the people satan is using do "IN SUCH A TIME AS THIS" (REMEMBER QUEEN ESTHER)

"NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US CAN/WILL PROSPER" Isaiah 54:17, no matter who seems to be in power! Stop following the enemies [followers of the devil (evil one)] naratives/talking points and do as little David did against his giant foe, Goliath! He used what worked for him, 'his weapon' (sling shot) and we all should know what followed!

So be encouraged to fight these situations with OUR WEAPONS WHICH ARE SPIRITUAL, and watch what happens, Game Over! "If my people who are called by My Name, would humble themselves & pray...."

"Doers & not hearers" of God's Word(s)! Amen? AMEN!!! Patriots everywhere need our support [try worship music at your events when possible; it will also attract & encourage our young people & others]

I'm your brother in Yeshua Hammachiah/Christ Jesus our Lord & Saviour; I am also a whosoever of whosoevers according to John 3:16.

God Bless & Stay Safe, i.e. kol tuv etc!

In answer to your question Patsy Nelson, i am studying and am awaiting to be washed in the Blood of the Lamb. I also had the same question to my Pastor and this is the answer he provided from the Lords Word (KJV)

    John 3: 5-7

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

    Colossians 2: 12

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

My interpretation of this scripture is we are fully immersed in water and have shed our old self and are now new in Christ.

    God Bless

My thought is that Moses wrote the first 5 books of the Bible. They were written in Hebrew.

Abraham lived before Moses. I would think that when Ishmael descendants settled in the lands that God deeded to them.

Israel's boundaries were recorded in the scriptures and deeded to them through a covenant God performed with Abraham (and his legal wife Sarah); cutting the covenant.

The deed is still legal in Gods eyes. The fact that Israel gives land for peace; will be the issue of the end of time wars fought. Just because 5-6000 years have passed by, doesn't mean God has forgotten the original Covenant boundaries. People change. Not the Covenant.

I'm always amazed at the size of Israel, compared to the other kingdoms that exist on modern maps now. Not even 10 miles wide! Anyone could jog that every day of their lives. The promise that God made to Ishmael is much greater in size. To think God has become senile is ridiculous.

It is written: there will be a final battle fought at Armageddon. Only those who choose to stand with Jesus will live with him eternally. John 3: "you must be born again" from above.

Good point that John 3:16 says that "whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" not "whosoever believed in Him once upon a time..." Even in English it indicates continuing belief and I am sure the Greek is even clearer.

I'll take a stab at that. In short; the Holy Spirit is the SOURCE of the Seven fold Spirit encompassed in the Body of Christ; represented by the seven churches in Revelation. The seven "angels" of the seven churches can be understood as messengers in the original language; so that the meaning can essentially be one or both. The number for completeness as many suggest seems to be 7 in scripture. So the churches in Asia probably represent the emphasis that each church has in particular giftings; so that all together they are a typology of all churches worldwide in that time; as well as throughout history. We also will tend to see the same weaknesses; then as now. My best understanding is that with an individual with a particular gift there tend to be characteristic weaknesses as well. Christ Himself embodied ALL the gifts; hence He could be balanced and also have the Spirit "without limit". ( John 3:34). As for the church itself; temptations of Pagan society; persecutions or lack thereof and other factors help determine particular issues of struggle. We need to realize that the most dangerous situation in Laodicea was where people felt most content; was in fact in the greatest danger. The opposite was in Ephesus; where everything but their "First love" was being done correctly. In short; it would appear that each church was granted a particular emphasis on a certain manifestation of the Spirit; as was predestined for their particular situation. Some would go through persecution and death; while others such as Philadelphia would ultimately escape it in the Rapture. There was at the time still a remnant; or individuals God exhorted to remain faithful even in Laodicea who would wear "white" garments. There are some valid points to each of the churches being a time period from Pentecost until today; when the Laodicean type church seems to abound. My theory is that each church has a primary type of gifting necessitated by the conditions present.

I'm sorry, this is incorrect, Chris. Resting on God's Holy Day Isaiah 58:13, the only day God EVER blessed and made holy, IS the very worship you claim didn't happen for that day. Obeying God's Commandments IS worship of God and those who obey ARE worshiping God by that very act.

Sin is the breaking of the Commandments 1 John 3:4. So sin does still 100% exist and Christians are fully capable of sinning, saved or not. Therefore the 10 Commandments still 100% exist and are valid for Christians.

The Laws were clearly given in the OT to teach the Israelites how to be right with God after the Fall of this world in Eden. Under that system, they needed to do continuous sacrifices to cleanse them of sin. Jesus has become the unequaled, perfect sacrifice for all sin and abolished that system of sacrifice with His Crucifixion. All of the Mosaic CEREMONIAL Laws, that were made such a heavy burden by the Pharisees and Sadducees, have been abolished as well.

The 10 Commandments have absolutely NOT been abolished, and will never BE abolished. That is one of the biggest reasons Jesus did what He did with His life and sent us His Spirit afterward that had been trained up to obey ALL of the Commandments.

Jesus obeyed ALL the 10 and we are to live as He lived. John 15:10 1 John 2:6

    Christian MEANS follower of Christ.

The 10 Commandments were the ONLY Commandments God spoke ALOUD to Israel. And they were the ONLY Commandments written IN STONE by the finger of GOD, twice.

God SPOKE this world into existence. God SPOKE the 10 Commandments into existence - NEVER to be altered or repealed.

    Psalm 89:34

The concept of sanctification in verse two follows a pattern that in the END; will result in salvation of our souls (verse 9). This demonstrates that faith must continue until the end; and as other verses in scripture demonstrate fruit must be produced. We must look at John 3:16 in a similar manner; he who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life is in context and grammar indicating a faith that is continual in scope. It is His faithfulness; ultimately that those who have been foreordained (verse 20); but in real time it is manifest; or shown and that in the characteristic of saints walking in the Spirit. Verse 22 has another interesting point; the "unfeigned" love of other believers. When we see many fellowships more like social clubs; the command to love one another is truly not met. If we see the Body as a visual representation of Christ in His church; the agape love of sacrificial lives is what is meant. Too often there is companionship with those of like interests or family members rather than those who hold us accountable in prayer and confessing sins to one another. We are too timid to exhort one another or rebuke one another; deferring to a misunderstanding of verses where we are told not to judge one another. If we love someone; we want the best for them; and will do whatever it takes to facilitate that.

The last few verses once again force us to examine our hearts; to make sure natural talents or attributes are not what motivates us; but those affections that come from above. Those in the prosperity gospel movement or music industry need to carefully examine this in light of the medial propaganda that cannot clearly be differentiated at best from that of the world.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1John 4:20

How can I truly love my brother?

Lord help me to look at everyone through eyes of love. Love covers a multitude of transgressions.

Help me to look at everyone through eyes of mercy! The same eyes of mercy you look at me with.

Help me to love my brother and my enemy alike.

We may be spending eternity together! :-))

This is my sincere desire Lord.

    Matthew 12:50

    (Who is my brother?)

    1 John 3:11-17

    (Loving my brother)

1John is an amazing book of the Bible. Short read. Only 5 chapters. But I highly recommend it!

God bless you and keep you. :-).

As opposed to what? Destroying the evil? Genesis 6:5-6,11,12, He did that in Noah's day: Genesis 6:7-9, Genesis chapters 6-9,

Genesis 8:21-22, Gen. 9:9-17, therefore HE made a covenant of mercy. Yet HE also makes promises of giving an "account"

    Genesis 9:5-6, Psalms 37, Isaiah 61:3, Romans 12:9, Hebrews 10:30, Jude 1:7,

It's like this Genesis: GOD gave dominion to man over the Earth, including sea. Gen. 1:28, It's a ' stewardship ' that all men will give an account for. Matthew 25:31-46, yet the Earth still belongs to GOD : 1Corinthains 10:26,

GOD gave Moses a set of "Best Laws" That if people obeyed, would cut down on suffering. Instead many have rebelliously rejected, mocked & ignored & refusal to enforce. Whose then to blame for suffering in consequence? Proverbs 3:27,

I think it amazing that GOD intervenes on our behalf so many times. Exodus 3:9, Psalms 12:5,

& ultimately gave us Salvation John 3:16-18, Ecclesiastes 5:8,

    Hopefully this is helpful

Hi Cecil, please read Psalm 37,

I knew a guy named Cecil at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. He adopted a 6month old baby girl that had been horrificly abused. I read your post several times. I closed the ap. Had to pray a little & think on your post. I haven't heard from our friend Cecil since I was a teenager. The MBAFB shut down shortly after those days & everyone moved away.

Cecil, GOD is Just. Have you heard of Moses? In Genesis, Abraham was promised several amazing things, a son from his 'wife', in their old age, etc. Gen. 12:2,3,7, but also that those heirs would be servant in strange land & afflicted 400 yrs. Genesis 15:12-13, if you read in depth you can find GOD's justice. Genesis 12:10-17, Genesis 16:1-16, Genesis 21:9-19 = it was in Egypt, Abraham's children of Sarah's son Isaac's offspring were afflicted.

Genesis 18, shows great mercy of GOD that if 10 righteous were in that land (Sodom & Gomorrah) it would've been spared. That's his Nephew Lot's friends & family. ?, Right here is proof the GOD interecedes on People's behalf when they obey HIM.

GOD's ways are not our ways, Isaiah 55:8,9,

We cannot blame GOD for wickedness of man = Genesis 6:5-6,

Yet GOD shows us mercy & unimaginable love, John 3:16-17, salvation through sacrifice, Psalms 18:25-27,

GOD is merciful, true & Just. If you read the books that go alongside Isaiah you'll get a clearer picture: 2Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 29, Jeremiah 51, Exodus 22:22, Isaiah 1:17, Isaiah 1:23, Jeremiah 7:6, Jeremiah 22:3, Ezekiel 22:7, Malachi 3:5, Zechariah 7:10, you can start with those verses because that's most of what GOD asked of Israel & Judah. Then please read the Books & chapters.

    Then Babylon: 2Kings 20:12-18,19, Daniel 1, 2Kings 25:8-9, I stopped there because that's enough about the evil.

Hopefully these are helpful if you are trying to search for truth & understanding. You can also ask for wisdom James 1:5-6,21,

    Job 38:1-41, James 4:12,

    * Hebrews 7:25,

You need to read those passages in the Commentaries. On this website or Google.

Type in your scripture and what you want to read: commentary or history or meaning or teaching.

If we don't do the work; the reading. We strike out at God as not being fair. We forget that we've had 3,000 years to learn what happens at THE END OF DAYS. We were warned and informed.

Jesus will have His Army; there will have been 144,000 Jewish Evangelists SENT BY GOD to reach out to the Unconverted/unbelievers.

The Beast will have his Army. All those who serve Antichrist. There's going to be a lot of Military action in these last days. The Palestinians are looking for their MAHDI; Who will lead them against Israel and any Israeli sympathizers.

If you want to have this taught to you? Look up NELSON WALTERS videos on YouTube. Take notes.

For BELIEVERS IN JESUS, we need to be as the Parable of the Ten Virgins. Be ready to go with Jesus when He comes for His born again CHURCH. Sometimes called the Rapture. Bible calls it: "Caught Up in the Clouds".

After that, the DOOR CLOSES. People who chose to do NOTHING, will endure years of Tribulation. They can still be BORN AGAIN; but they have to be on earth, hide in rocks and caves to survive.

NOTE: Antichrist will kill 1/3 of Mankind left on earth. If you accept the mark of the Beast, to access your money in the bank__you will die. If you take the Mark, you die. If you don't take the Mark, you die of starvation from hiding in the forests (which will be patrolled by drones looking for GPS on your cell phone).

This is ALL SCRIPTURE. You have to CHOOSE NOW. Today is the day of Salvation.

Sticking our heads in the sand like Book of Job animals: (OSTRICH) is a gory death sentence.

Get informed. Don't mock the Christians trying to help you. We're trying to help you and others.

We think your life is precious to God. "God so loved THE WORLD, that He gave his only son, to take your sins and give you JESUS." JOHN 3:16

Chapter in Proverbs each day, the Word will teach you "The Way". God provided, just for all who will read and obey His Word.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34. But look at verse 25-32 and you will see What God means, but if you do not read his Word, and fellowship with God, an accept his provision, and gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. John 3:16 He so loved the World He gave His only begotten Son, whomever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have

"Everlasting Life". Thankful Servant of God the Father, and my Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.

    It is your decision.

    Hello Chris,

Good question. Open your heart to GOD ALMIGHTY & allow Jesus CHRIST to be you're savior. The HOLY Spirit will guide you & teach you all truth. John 3:16-17,

Genesis 1:26-28, GOD created, multiple men & women to fill the earth, subdue tak dominion over the fish of the sea, cattle, birds of the air .

Then HE formed Man & breathed Life into him: Genesis 2:7, this is a special account because of the details Genesis 2:8,9,15, interesting that this man was alone, Gen 2:18-24 note: Genesis 4:16, they were already cast out of the garden, Cain left the 'Presence of the LORD'' it appears he left the Holy to dwell with the other men & women in a land called Nod. HOLY means set apart, Gen 4:17, then they built a city & named it. So Nod already existed. Then you have: Genesis 4:23-24 why isn't the killed man mentioned? If it was of the same parents? Therefore proving these are the other men & women Genesis 5:1-2, Genesis 4:26, Enoch the HOLY seed begins to call on GOD, "Son's of GOD" Gen 6:1-6, "Son of GOD" Jesus CHRIST Luke 3:23-38, Enos = Enoch, Romans 8:14.

Please don't believe evil lies. GOD says & our spirit testifys sin & perversion bad: Leviticus 20:17, & GOD doesn't lead us to sin : James 1:12-27, note: James 1:13-14,

Study for yourself & GOD will help you see truth.

Let's start with this we will all be changed in a twinkling of an eye, then there is two type of bodies celestial and telesterial but then Jesus says, even the Son of man which is in heaven. He was right there alive speaking, So I'll let Jesus answer it verse 12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? Even more so Jesus hadn't died yet so how did he ascend before he died. had Jesus come down before and returned and all other like Elija never ascend to heaven but were changed 1st, do we go to heaven when we die. faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of thing not seen, now we see through a glass, darkly, and we know in part but then I shall know even as I am known, I guess we'll have to wait to find everything out

After being born again by praying to receive Jesus; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

Go to the link on the red page: Become A Believer, and work through the Bible teaching on how to become a follower of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is your Comforter, your Helper, and Your Teacher. As you read scripture, every day, ask Him to help you to understand how it applies to you now. Start in the Gospels and head towards Revelation. Every time we read Revelation, we receive a blessing from the Lord. (Chapter 1) The book of Isaiah has many prophesies about Jesus. Before He came to earth to save His people (us). He promised_ he fulfilled each and everyone prophesy. We can have confidence that He will fulfill what has been set down and recorded.

He will draw close to YOU, if you will draw close to Him. If you sin (we all fail sometimes), read 1 John chapter 1, chapter 2:1-2, all of it truly.

1 John 3:11. We can't fellowship with sin anymore. It takes effort to cling to Jesus for our guidance. Find a BIBLE teaching Church; even if it's on the FM radio.

Coming by here is a way of fellowship. Everyone loves to share. Just always compare what you hear, with scripture.

We pray for everyone that asks for prayer. So put this site on your Google desktop. Drop in anytime! Some of us are nightowls lol

Ephesians 6 tells us who the real enemies are, to our walk with God. We all get opposed by the devils. Say what Jesus said, in the Gospels.

May the Lord bless you and keep you close to his vest, and keep you encouraged as you walk with Him.

I think all 5 comments have value and encouragement for Beverly in her time of grieving.

I personally believe and totally agree with Donna's comments [although they may seem a bit harsh or too direct or even uncaring ?!?] but true and tender words of relief and agape/love towards Beverly, in particular, the second paragraph: [Beverly, please BEWARE!!!]

"I do believe I know where your sister wants you to be when you pass away though."

To that I would simply add the same message of encouragement as Donna's:

"Please Ask Jesus into your heart if you haven't already. Turn from your sins and find a church family to study the Bible with and get water baptized.

The Lord will answer all your questions in due time. I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep coming here."

And for Donna: you are a very mature Christian yourself, unafraid to say it exactly as it is, no fuss, no sugar coating it: Amen to you!!!

With a heavy heart I admit, I had close 'friends', that unfortunately passed away, and they were so hardened in their hearts that they denied Christ even on their death bed ........ where are they now? Hmm, I don't think so ........ All of the Holy Scripture leads us to the right answer, not only John 3:16. GOD forgive and bless us all.

    Hi BMW.

    Part 7 of 7.

    (3) Gentiles were not required, but had the privilege of, joining the Hebrew family via the proselytization process (cf. Acts 2:10; 13:16). Additionally, there were many instructions in Moses' law designed to benefit the "strangers" (Gentiles) who came among Israelite people ( Leviticus 19:33ff).

    (4) The Lord sent Jonah to the Gentiles of Nineveh ( Jonah 3:1). Archer said that the theme of the book of Jonah "is that God's mercy and compassion extend even to the heathen nations on condition of their repentance" (1964, 295). Jonah is sometimes called "the first apostle to the Gentiles."

    (5) Four Gentile women were woven into the genealogical fabric of the Messiah-Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba-in both legal and biological senses ( Matthew 1:5-6; Luke 3:31-32).

    (6) In addition, the prophets clearly revealed Jehovah's redemptive concern for the Gentiles, who were to be grafted into the New Testament church on an equal basis with the Jews ( Genesis 17:4; 22:18; Psalms 2:8; Isaiah 42:1, 6; 49:6; cf. Romans 11:1ff; Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 2:11ff).

    Conclusion

There always has been a way for honest people to be right with their Creator-if they seek after him and choose to please him ( Acts 17:27ff). God so loved the entire world and gave his Son as a potential redeeming sacrifice for all who avail themselves of his gift ( John 3:16). He is the loving benefactor to everyone who submits to his will in faithful obedience ( 1 Timothy 2:4; Hebrews 5:8-9; cf. 2 Peter 3:9).

    Article by Wayne Jackson.

I share this information for one to go over. I haven't had the time to do no more than glance over the beginning being I'm out town on business again.

Hopefully some others can share on this great question you asked.

    God bless.

    Hi BMW.

    That is a great question!!

Here's a portion of an article from Wayne Jackson.

    Part 1 of ?

    Gentile Accountability

That the ancient Gentile world was religiously and morally culpable before the Creator is most obvious from the testimony of both Old and New Testaments. In literature of the Old Testament, the idolatry of the pagans is condemned repeatedly, and judgments from God were visited upon these peoples.

    (1) Gentile idolatry is condemned as sin by the prophets of God (see Exodus 20:3-5; 32:35; Numbers 25:1-9; Deuteronomy 5:7-9; 6:4, etc.). The captivity of the southern kingdom of Judah was attributed directly to the worship of the false gods of the Gentiles ( 2 Kings 22:17). For an extensive array of information on this theme, see Helmbold 2003, 697-708.

    (2) Gentile immorality was exposed and rebuked by the Old Testament writers. For example, in Amos 1:3 - 2:3, the prophet denounced Damascus, Gaza, Tyre, and Edom for their brutality toward their neighbors. The Ammonites "ripped open pregnant women" in their vicious conquests, etc. See also the extensive material presentation of judgments against the heathen nations contemporary with the prophet Jeremiah (chapters 46-51).

    (3) In his epistle to the Christians in Rome, Paul describes the religious-moral conditions of the Roman world.

    Romans 1:24-27.

From these facts, therefore, one may conclude: (1) Sin is a transgression of divine law (1 John 3:4); conversely, where there is no law, there is no sin ( Romans 4:15). (2) But the Gentiles were indicted as sinners. (3) Consequently, they were amenable to a law, and they had violated that law. That their actions were designated as sin likewise implies that they were under divine law.

    See part 2.

Daniel was in an extreme circumstances & was yet obedient to GOD & faithful, 2Kings 20:18, Daniel 1:1, Daniel 1:8, we assume Daniel wouldn't eat food that was considered "unclean' or 'abomination' to GOD as set forth in the Books of Leviticus 1, if you would like to study the Laws given to Moses.

    Jesus said : Matthew 5:17, Romans 9:31-33, John 3:15-21, Matthew 25,

    Hopefully these are helpful
