TO: Lorraine Magarian on Daniel 12

The thief on the cross was still under the old law, Jesus had not died and come back from the grave yet. This is the first example people will pull out of The Word of God to explain why a person doesn't have to be baptized, but it is wrong. John 3:5 ( Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.) I am a simple minded Hillbilly preacher, I don't claim to know much, but I do know this; No matter what men or women say, God's Word will not change. Praying for you.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I have got a question, am not asking out of carnality, but to be edified.

QN: The bible says in the famous scripture of John 3:16 that Jesus is the only begotten son of God.It is repeated also in John 1:18 and 1 John 4:9.I agree that Jesus is the begotten son of God,but at the same time even us who have believed in Him we have been begotten of God and we are sons ( John 1:12).So, is Jesus the only begotten son of God?

Will be grateful to hear from you.

Again, I am not challenging the gospel, I am just a believer who needs to be edified.

    Sacha,

You gave a lot of Scripture, But unfortunately you've misinterpreted all of them.

However you're right about one thing, " You're not going to convince me about anything, And I'm not sure that's your intentions.

I'm not going to go through all of these scriptures but I will dig into the first one.

Mark 16:16. HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED.

( When and how was he or she baptized in the first half of this verse?)

Answer is: When they believed!! Only the Holyspirit can put you into the body of Christ! Not water.

1 Corinthians 15:45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a QUICKENING SPIRIT. ( Life giving spirit.)

Can you get water baptism and NOT BELIEVE AND BE SAVED? No.

Here's the second part of this scripture

"but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Does it say but he that is not baptized shall be damned? No.

Now parallel that with these well known verse by the Lord.

John 3:16-18. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

HE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED: BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

" THIS PARALLELS WITH WHAT LORD IS SAYING IN MARK 16:16. ( but he that believeth not shall be damned.)

John says himself that he baptized with water BUT he shall baptize you with the Holyspirit.

Hello Carolyn. Two Scriptures come to mind that speak of a Christian's behaviour towards another.

    James 2:14-17 and 1 John 3:17,18.

As you read both those portions, the message is clear: In the first passage, if a believer sees a brother or sister destitute of food or clothing & does nothing about it except to assure him of prayers that things will turn for the better for him, then that believer's faith is dead.

In the other passage, if a believer is stoney-hearted towards a needy brother or sister, then that attitude raises serious doubt as to whether God's Love resides in him.

As much that it is not in our power to declare the worth of a person's salvation (that is a matter between God & the individual), a person with such an attitude to another's need, does indeed demonstrate a failure in both faith & love - qualities that God's Spirit has bestowed to every child of God. Of course, maybe the hoped-for helper is also in a pathetic position, whether in giving monetary or other assistance. But even in this case, everything possible should be done to ensure that a fellow-believer is cared for. I feel, generally Churches are very responsive in this area & probably most saints as well, but having had connections with the smaller (tighter) groups, such as the Exclusive Brethren, you will never find any person fellowshipping there ever in any want. Houses, food, clothing & jobs are all catered for. We can indeed learn about love & sacrifice from such Fellowships.

    Laura,

I am not sure if you are truly seeking an answer to John 3:13 (your original question), or if you are passing on what you believe to be the answer?

I have read through your post several times trying to figure out what you are trying to say. Maybe I am just misunderstanding what you are saying but I am having a hard time coming up with the same understanding. What you are saying seems foreign to me. Sorry I couldn't be more help to answer your original question!

    Hi Lauren,

I know we all go thru that mind set. Paul writes about it in Romans 7:11-25. The Lord knows our frame and helps us through His scriptures. It is not easy. Our responsibility is to search His Word and trust in its application to our lives. Gal 2:20; Col 3: 1-10; 1 Cor 10: 13 are passages that helped me. It takes time, however it gets easier as time goes by. Key is to keep working at it. The Lord is there for you. He wants us to succeed. Remember, it is His desire that we be like Christ. Romans 6:5; Phil 3:21; 1 John 3:2. Sorry didn't mean to give you so many verses, just wanted you to have enough "ammunition" to fight against the enemy and quench all his fiery darts Eph 6: 11-18. I used 3X5 cards to write the verses and carried them with me to help me memorize the verses.

God bless you, and know that the Lord is there for our success.

    Laura,

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

No man has ever ascended to heaven except Jesus after resurrected in His glorified body, no man has seen heaven other than the visions they have been shown in the Spirit. Jesus is saying no man can teach the truth of heaven but the Son of God who is from heaven. Nicodemus was not believing Jesus, trusting the world's wisdom which is foolishness with God. Like in Proverbs, it shows Nicodemus with the vanity of human struggle to know God.

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Only with the Holy Spirit can we understand the word of God, which is sent from God in the name of Jesus. We are baptized with water for the forgiveness of our sins and buried with Him by baptism into death. Jesus baptizes us in the Holy Spirit to walk in newness of life and are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise that as He was raised from the dead, so shall we be. What happens after this body dies is another discussion?

    God bless,

    Laura,

John 3:13 is not telling us that we do not get to go be with the Lord. You have to keep in mind that when Jesus spoke those words, He had not yet been crucified, He had not yet been resurrected, and He had not yet ascended up into heaven. Also, the Holy Spirit had not yet come, and I'll explain why that is important in understanding this verse.

Jesus rose from the dead so that we also will rise to be with him upon our own physical death. Those who belong to Christ, when our fleshly body dies, our spirit goes to be with the Lord immediately.

Here is what I believe John 3:13 is saying:

Jesus is saying that I am the only One that has come down from heaven. He says, But if I tell you earthly things and you don't get it, and you are the master teacher. You see, he should have associated the Lord's teaching to Ezekiel Chapter 37 Verses 1 through 15.

This is where God takes the prophet and He shows them a valley of dead bones and says this is Israel.

Spiritually dead! And He says to him, prophecy over these bones that flesh would come on them. And the bones came together and the flesh came on the bones.

And then He says prophecy to the wind that the wind would blow on them and breathe life in them. And he prophesies and the wind blows and they are filled with life and spirit.

And so God's promise to His people Israel is that you are spiritually dead until my spirit gives you life. But right now you are spiritually dead!

And He tells Nicodemus, you should have known what I was talking about. How can you be the master teacher in Israel and you don't know anything about being born from above? You don't know anything about the wind blowing, and how the spirit moves!

So at the time Jesus said "no man hath ascended up to heaven," that would have been true as the Holy Spirit had not yet come, and no one can go be with the Lord unless they are born of God's Spirit (Holy Spirit indwelling).

    Hopefully this makes sense?
  • Laura - 3 years ago
    CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN:

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven

I thought Jesus came so we could go up to heaven to be with him? This says we don't go up to heaven.

Hello Mary. If you're looking for what we term as the "Lord's Prayer", then you can find it in Matthew 6:9-13.

Please note, that this was a special prayer that Jesus taught His disciples ( Luke 11:1) because at that time Jewish Rabbis often gave their followers a special prayer or recitation as a part of their instructions & disciplines. We can use the Lord's Prayer very meaningfully today also, but shouldn't restrict ourselves only to those words, as our Heavenly Father wants to hear our prayers as the expression from our hearts (filled with praise, thanksgiving, & requests), given in faith.

    Hi Paul,

Notice that what you said in your sentence is not what Matthew 5:18 says. The verse says 'til all be fulfilled' not 'end of time' as you said.

The Bible says Jesus came to earth to fulfil the law. Hover or click on this for proof: Matthew 5:17. Note that Jesus came after the Israelites and after the Old Testament was written.

Jesus's mission was to die for the sins of the world. John 3:16

Notice that after Jesus completed his mission he said 'it is finished': John 19:30.

So, Jesus fulfilled the law. People had lots of laws then including Israelites who had nearly 1000 laws, not just moral, but civil and ceremonial. They were huge in number and governed themselves like a country.

However, even though Jesus fulfilled the law, we are still obligated to follow the moral law. John 14:15. Example: do not kill, lie, cheat, worship false gods, commit sexual immorality, blasphemy, etc.

They did stoning back then. Public stonings are still done today in places in the middle east.

The Bible does not instruct Christians to stone anyone. One must differentiate what is moral law that applies to 'me' and what was a civil or ceremonial law that only applied to a people group at that time. Israelites were God's chosen people so they were given different attention than others as well.

So yes in fact people need to voice their opinion that's how they get their point across and can gently be advised to TRUTH . Upon rereading my comment I was a bit harsh but I get Defensive about my JESUS I love HIM Hallelujah Glory LORD JESUS I'll defend HIM until my death Amen. I Still say there's only one Lord one Faith one Baptism . ( Ephesians 4:5) everyone/ Then Peter said unto them, " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of The Holy Ghost ( ACTS 2:38 )( JOHN 3:5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. You can see the error in the way they said Joseph is the father: not Step-father, not body father.

This is how the Godhead chose to record this in the Bible.

You are skipping over the ANGEL that was sent to both Joseph and Mary; to Announce the Prophesy that was being fulfilled. Again later to warn Joseph to take Mary and Jesus to Egypt till Herod died. The Angel also prophesied to Elizabeth.

Consider all the available information before you make assumptions concerning THE HOLY BLOODLINE of Jesus Christ.

Insider the Prophesy way way back in Genesis 3:15. "IT" in that verse is the name of Jesus Christ. Romans 16:20, Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8

The Rock we stand on is Jesus, the Word of God.

The rocks we fall over and hurt ourselves on, are lies or misunderstood truth. Always search the prophesies recorded in the Bible.

If your Bible DOES NOT have 'center of each page' reference columns; get one. (Not side or bottom columns). It points you to those prophetic statements.

John 3:16 Jesus's sacrifice for us is a glimpse of hope when there is no hope around us.The sacrifice of God to me cannot be explained in words for the word is his and not mine. A god that turns to human body and feels the real pain of the heart, soul and flesh. Sometimes when our hearts cry in needed, he is always there to feel with us and comfort us to stand and be strong to confront the waves of temptation.

Cheryl, May CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

To many people have been taught something different than the good news of the GOSPEL.

The GOSPEL is CHRIST IN YOU.

The word says we are all dead; walking around believing we are alive and we determine our destiny by what we do and the choices we make.

The TRUTH IS; we can do nothing in and of ourselves: Christ determines our destiny by WHAT HE DOES FOR US.

John 3:27 Jesus answered and said, a man can receive nothing, except it be GIVEN him from heaven.

1 Corinthians 4:4 For I know NOTHING BY MYSELF; yet am I not hereby JUSTIFIED: but he that JUDGETH me is the Lord (the word is judging you NOW).

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world (those that believe they are living their lives on their own) cometh, and have NOTHING IN ME (not believing ALL IS OF GOD).

Galatians 6:3 If a man think himself to be something, when HE IS NOTHING, he deceiveth himself.

John 15:5 I am the vine you are the branches: He that abideth in me (TRUTH), and I (TRUTH) in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit (CHRIST IN YOU), for without me you can do NOTHING.

As Christ reveals himself to you through TRUTH you began to be a new creation; CHRIST IN YOU, and begin to BELIEVE what the word says. Christ is making you to be exactly like himself; everything he is, YOU ARE.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, NOW (when you BELIEVE) are we the sons of GOD, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall BE: but we know that, when he shall appear (NOW in TRUTH) we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

This is the FIRST DEATH and RESURRECTION; now in CHRIST, being JUDGED NOW in the words of Gods.

A NEW HEAVEN (You where Christ dwells); a new life and that life IS CHRIST.

The world already is a battlefield, is it not? I looked at a part in your post that said you know Christians who support abortions. No you Don't! A Christian does not support sin; 1st John 3:8 (He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.) There is no excuse for sin, but there is a remedy( Jesus ).

There is a big difference in claiming something and being something; 2nd Timothy 3:5 (Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.) You will know them by their fruits, if the fruit is rotten so is the tree.

That particular message was for Norman to perhaps relay back to the guy was feeding him that information.

I do believe there's. material in some of those books that can be used in a historical study and be helpful.

    But not needed.

You can tare John 3:16 out the bible and still come to the conclusion after reading the Bible that: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

"This attack on the Bible saying it has been tampered with and that it can't be trusted, Says God can't preserve his word.

That is an insult to The Almighty God described in the Bible.

    What scripture said that?

John 3:3-5 Jesus told Nicodemus, we must be born again.

When I asked Jesus into my life, I didn't hear harps playing or see any vision of wonder; I only felt the hot tears from a heart, broken over a life of sin.

I still sin. We all do. But we have an advocate with the Father. 1 John 2:1. How long does it take to bend a knee to confess and be restored?

Jesus wasn't offering cheap fire insurance when He hung on the cross. It cost him everything.

He is Gods son, but he was fully human on this earth.

When I cut myself shaving, I think of the 40+1 lashes that Jesus took for me; from a vile Roman scourge whip. I say ouch and then thank you Jesus. It's all good. :)

A Christian is God conscious; not sin conscious. Our sins are forgiven. Hallelujah.

James 4:17 says if you do nothing in the face of evil it's a sin. Other parties aren't even close to the one I called out. The democrats support mass murdering innocent babies and mass spilling of blood through violence, and the other parties don't. Those who assume others are just as evil either have been brainwashed by propaganda or could be symbolically bowing to the evil culture, just like the US giving billions to Iran the #1 enemy who threatens to nuke us. In these dark days we even see pastors bowing down to terrorist groups like blm and antifa who have killed so many hundreds that aren't reported by the evil media. The vaccine injection has also murdered more than 5,000 people and they sweep it under the rug- that's more death than the 9/11 attacks. It's horrifyingThe time for pandering to this evil is over.

Habakkuk 1:13, Romans 12:9, Philippians 3:2, Ephesians 5:11, John 3:20 - say to expose evil, not pander to them, appease them, or bow down and worship them as a false god. The end times are near and people will be soon tested to see who they are allegient to. Were they an accessory to murder by belonging to a group that mass murders babies, lets criminals out of prison to murder innocents, to let illegals in to spread disease, bring lethal drugs, and traffic children? Those supporting this will be held accountable. It's not too late to repent of this sin and to follow Jesus.

    Miyelani,

Your question, was sin there before the earth was created? Just to add a little to brother Earl's reply.

We know by the book of Job angels were created before for this earth ( Job 38:7). God asked Job these questions; "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?" "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?" ( Job 38)

We know God's plan was before this world, which includes the lake of fire and who this lake of fire was prepared for. ( Matthew 25:41) We are told one purpose the Son of God was manifested. ( 1John 3:8)

All of God's mysteries have not been revealed, things behind the scenes, things that are not in our Bible. If "there" in your question, is on earth the answer is no. Scripture does not tell us precisely when Satan sinned (rebelled).

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Hello Norman. As I read your question & comments, Ephesians 2:8-10 came to mind. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

I know that you are well aware of that Scripture, as we've come to know you from your other comments in the past. So if I may expand on that passage in line with your question.

The very basis of our acceptance by God as His children is because of His Grace that He has showered upon us, giving us faith to believe in His Salvation. This is the Gift of God: not just salvation or just faith, but the whole deal: His Grace + His Faith to believe + His Salvation. I believe, from what you've written in the past, that you not only know this but are in possession of it. There are many people & some sadly, occupying Church pews, who know about this salvation but are not in possession of it: they know ABOUT Christ but have not received faith to believe IN HIM. And this salvation, indeed God's Grace & Faith as well, is given to all who have been drawn by God ( John 6:44) with the Holy Spirit's ministry of conviction of sin ( John 16:8), resulting in repentance & being born again ( Acts 2:38; John 3:3). That is God's requirement for sinners to be accepted & the person who has been so led & then dealt with by the Lord, has been truly saved by Him. There is no work that we can ever perform that will give our salvation an extra guarantee - if that were so, then salvation is no longer of Grace & Faith, but of our efforts.

    Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall EAT the fruit thereof.

    1 John 3:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth NOT his brother abideth in death.

    Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded (fleshly), is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

We need to be prayerful about how we speak about ourselves, to us; or about other people. There are things such as spoken curses. The Bible says that we are held accountable for every idle word that comes out of our mouth. I guess our angels record that stuff? I consciously made myself pause before I let something fly that was not acceptable.

Praying the right things along with a Bible scripture; is a very powerful prayer in a life giving way. Proverbs is a great book to glean good thoughts.

We have to have good scriptures memorized (the ones we love most), so when Satan gangs up on us with warfare; the righteous thoughts pop up automatically.

    Like: I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus;

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (including moving this 200 lb box)

There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ.

My favorite for lonely: I am my Beloveds, and My Beloved is MINE.

EDIFY. This is what gets us over a rough patch.

Matthew 20:28. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Matthew 28:19-20. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

JESUS COMMANDED HIS DISCIPLES TO GO OUT AND SHARE THE GOSPEL, AND THEY DID!

IT WAS IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO DIE FOR.

Today it is the least interesting topic of scripture.

John 3:14-16. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Acts 16:30-31. And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    1 Corinthians 15:3-4. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

John 12:24 . Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 10:1. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Let us not treat the gospel like a history book,

And Let's understand the necessity of it.

    Hi Gordy

The world prefers darkness and resists truth.

John 1:9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 3:19-21 (KJV) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I believe both sides of salvation is equally important, The law shows we're in dying need of a savior and Christ came to fulfill that need.

I believe we need to seriously turn our focus on Christ work on the cross.

And the true pathway to salvation.

    Deception is Satans strategy,

Why do we debate about topics and try to argue it by reasoning when you may be talking to someone who's spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:13-14. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    1 John 2:27.

1 Corinthians 3:6 . I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Our problem seems to be planting and watering, ( Preaching and teaching the gospel ).

We have seeds to sow, The Holyspirit will do his part.

    Salvation is all important.

    God bless.

Isaiah 9:5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood, but this (battle) SHALL BE with BURNING and FUEL OF FIRE.

Isaiah 9:19 ......And THE PEOPLE shall be the FUEL OF THE FIRE (CHRIST)....( Hebrews 12:29)

Revelation 9:18 By these three was a third part of man killed, BY THE FIRE (CHRIST)( Hebrews 12:29) ....

Ezekiel 5:3 Thou shall BURN a third part in the fire (IN CHRIST) ....

Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the FIRE (IN CHRIST), and burn them in the FIRE (IN CHRIST)....

Isaiah 4:4 When the LORD (FIRE) shall have washed away the filth of the DAUGHTERS OF ZION, and shall have purged the blood of (new) Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the SPIRIT OF JUDGEMENT and the SPIRIT OF BURNING.

Zachariah 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the FIRE (CHRIST) .....

Malachi 3:2 Who shall abide the day of his coming (CHRIST IN YOU)? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiners FIRE.....

Matthew 3:11 ....he will baptise you with the HOLY GHOST and FIRE:

Revelation 21:8 But the FEARFUL, and MURDERS (1 John 3:15).....and ALL LIARS shall have their part in the lake that burneth with FIRE (JUDGED IN CHRIST)...

Joel 3:14 Multitude, multitudes, in the valley of DECISION: for the DAY OF THE LORD (TODAY) is near in the valley of DECISION.

Brother Scott, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endue to the END (times), the same shall be saved.

You say the subject is end times and tribulation.

Did the people 1900 years ago have to consider this verse also. Did they died without Christ; not making it to the end times and tribulation. Whats going to happen to you if you die before the tribulation and the end times come. I don't think you understand End TIME and TRIBULATION.

Revelation 22:10 Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for THE TIME IS AT HAND.

    I COME QUICKLY

    Revelation 3:11

    Revelation 22:7

    Revelation 22:12

    Revelation 22:20

    Revelation 2:16

    Revelation 11:14

    Revelation 2:5

It has been 2000 year since these words were written; is that QUICKLY, perhaps with more study and more REVELATION, TRUTH would be more clear.

    Hebrews 9:28

    Colossians 3:4

He APPEARS to us now in TRUTH of HIS WORD (written and living, Holy Spirit). At the death of this body of flesh (end time) he shall APPEAR to us to FACE to FACE.

    1 John 3:2

    Ephesians 4:13

    Ephesians 1:10

Isaiah 27:12 ....and ye shall be gathered ONE BY ONE...

For any who are looking at theories on how it ends. There is a fantastic picture that has been painted and taught since the early 1800s and is taken from Daniel 9:27 to create the last week (7 years). The entire theory and all that is taught that will happen hinges on taking the last week/7 years from this 70-week prophecy.

This prophecy was determined on Daniel's people (house of Israel) and the holy city (Jerusalem).

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

If Jesus fulfilled what was determined in this prophecy, does that make this entire theory and all that is taught in this theory untrue?

How will it change the picture if the 70th week in the book of Daniel has been fulfilled?

    What is our blessed hope?

We have been told to study, trust our teacher the Holy Spirit and pray.

These are the six things that were determined, and a few verses that may help your study.

    1. To finish the transgression ( Isaiah 53:5, 8) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Hebrews 9:15-18)

    2. To make an end of sins ( Matthew 1:21) ( Hebrews 10:8-11) ( John 1:29) ( 1 Corinthians 15:3)

    (1 John 3:5) ( Psalm 32) ( Romans 8:3)

    3. To make reconciliation for iniquity ( Colossians 1:20-22) ( Isaiah 53:6) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Ephesians 2:16) ( Titus 2:14) ( 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

    4. To bring in everlasting righteousness ( Romans 5:17-21) ( Romans 3:21-26) ( 1Peter 2:24)

    ( 2 Corinthians 5:21) ( Isaiah 61:10-11)

    5. To seal up vision and prophecy ( Daniel 9:23) ( John 6:27) ( Mark 1:14-15) ( Acts 3:18)

    ( John 5:36-40) ( Matthew 11:11-15)

    6. To anoint the most holy ( Hebrews 8:1-12) ( Hebrews 9:6-14)
