God gave them over to the mind they desired (reprobate) but He did not leave them there without the possibility of conversion We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (our choice), But God intervened by sending His Son to pay the wages (death) by living a perfect, sinless life; nailed to a Cross; died there, and rose again and is now in Heaven to intercede for those who believe in Him. To believe as Calvinists teach that God specified who will be saved and the rest left to burn in the lake of fire is without merit. Jesus died for all ( John 3:16)! God sent His Holy Spirit (another Comforter) to teach and lead us into the perfection we must have to enter into Heaven. Everyone is on equal ground. God is no respecter of persons. Most will choose to be destroyed (Broad is the gate that leadeth to destruction and most will choose this one). Choose the narrow! You will not be disappointed and all of Heaven stands ready to get you there. We must prayer to have the mind of Jesus. Blessings, Steve

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. ( Hebrews 11:4)

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (1 John 3:11-12)

Is. 7:14 a sign is given by the lord himself a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and his name shall be called Immanuel.

The born again experience is the sign that you are born from above. As Jesus spoke of course he is the pattern man and he come to full fill scripture so are we as imitators of God, he's said the spirit moves were is wishes.....you hear the voice of it but you don't know where and how it comes, So is EVERYONE BORN OF SPIRIT.

The virgin Birth is experienced by EVERYONE BORN IN SPIRIT, as it not born of a flesh of a women but is a spiritual birth( virgin birth).

It did not just happen 2000 years ago to the patterned man (son of man) but is being happening and experiencing in the now today. I have experienced it my daughter has experienced it my mother and a few others I have spoken to.

Paul calls our religion a mystery not history. For history are known facts recorded you may like them or not but it's history, a mystery is something to be discovered and experienced. The mystery of the new birth or born again or I sum it up as being born from above is this , you are the Virgin Mary your skull is the holy womb of man.

The child (THE SIGN) is literally born from above and from the skull. It is spiritual and when it happens it will happen in a dream or in vision.the sound of wind is heard or loud voices as my daughter experienced it. She is 12 yrs old by the way, she said it was so loud the voices or wind it was irritating and you can't stop it, then pop out comes the child wrapped in a blanket there are people around watching you as witnesses people you know are there, she picked up the child and walked away and the dream or vision vanish. It is invisible but afterwards the change in that person is undoubtedly and undisputed and undeniable changed. The righteous man is born in him. This Born from above or born again experienced and the sign that it happens is a child is born from a virgin. The lord himself gives the sign.

"Bowels of compassion" in 1 John 3:17 is an older expression for a true, deep, empathy & giving of practical help to those who are needy. 'Bowels' was considered that deep part of one's being - today, we would refer to it as 'heart', (not the organ pumping blood), that is reached & touched with a deep sense of wanting to render every possible help to another. So if we say that God's Love is in us but we shut our hearts (bowels) to another's need, then our love for God is false & His Love is not in us. Very strong words, but also very true & challenging.

Ecclesiasticus 12 verse 7 says," do good to the godly man and help not a sinner" or like it says later on in the chapter you could put a double curse on yourself. Christ gets the final word that goes along with loving your enemy because he said a man's foes should be of his own house. 1 John 3:4 tell you sin is transgression of the law. Matthew 5 :17 says he didn't come to destroy the laws of Moses; for if you would have believe Moses he wrote of me is what Christ spoke. The only law that was done away with were the law of sacrifice that dealt with sin and death. We have grace which is a time to change. So only the ones that can sin are the ones under the law: Moral, civil, dietary, ceremonial. Even though Christ let that Syrophenician woman eat the crumbs from the master's table he still only came to do Matthew 1:21. Helping the godly means giving tithes cheerfully and offering with freewill that only the priest can collect of their brethren so the nation's storehouse may be full. At one time only the Levites could collect the tithes and offerings but the order of Melchizedek made it possible for all 12 tribes to take part in the priesthood. So help the godly man and not a sinner.

Why the Son of man came

    1 John 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

    Luke 9:56

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village

    Mark 10:45

"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."

    Blessed Assurance:

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. ( 1 John 2:1-2)

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ( John 3:17)

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ( John 6:37-40)

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ( John 10:9-10)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. ( Romans 8:1-2)

The blood of the animal was spilt & applied for man's sake, but the flesh of the animal was later consumed by those officiating in the Tabernacle as food. So by doing this, were the people forgiven & free from their sin against God? No - the sacrifices only temporarily covered their sin & hid God's Anger, as long as the people repented for their sins & sacrifice was being made. But this system could not go on forever as God had planned that a once-only permanent sacrifice would be made that would be acceptable to Him. Why couldn't God do this in the first place? Well, His people, Israel, had to first learn what sin was & how reprehensible sin was to a Holy God. The Laws that they couldn't fully obey were to show them their sinfulness & utter reliance upon God Who could still forgive them through sacrifice.

But the time had come for God's Own Sacrifice to come to Earth to be the only acceptable & permanent Sacrifice. And this Sacrifice would completely do away with those temporary animal sacrifices. So God provided His Son, called Jesus Christ, to give His Life for mankind's sins (both for the Jew & the Gentile): John 3:16. Jesus' death on the Cross provided the way for mankind to come back to God - not by sacrifice or any self-effort, but only by believing in Jesus' death & resurrection from the grave & by putting his faith in God to accomplish it on his behalf. So again, a blood sacrifice was required as it showed "a life being given for another life". What we couldn't do because we're filthy sinners, Jesus Christ the spotless Lamb from God was able to do for us & God accepted it by raising Jesus from the dead. So all who put their faith in Jesus are 'justified' by God: i.e. declared no longer guilty & made righteous before Him.

Such questions we can only grapple with because God is infinitely more wise than we are:

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! ( Romans 11:33)

Romans 9 has some further development of this mystery of why the LORD bestows grace and mercy on some.

He knows the end from the beginning, and surely he knows the point where a person, by their own free will, will remain obstinate in unbelief, thereby ratifying their own destruction.

God does not want anyone to go to Hell:

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ( John 3:17)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ( 2 Peter 3:9)

Saved, sanctify, or set apart means that one puts on the armor of God. The armor is God's laws, statutes, and commandments in which one applies to their life therefore saving you from the evils and wickedness of the world. Doing these laws, statutes and commandments will bring upon blessings and the ultimate reward, eternal life.

Levitcus 20:7 reads Sanctify yourselves therefore, be ye holy: for I Am the LORD which sanctify(save, set apart) you.

james 1:25...But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

john 3:15-21...15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Nancy, the Scripture I like in respect to what you've asked is in Ephesians 1:13,14: "In whom (Jesus) ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom (Jesus) also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."

The verse reminds us that after we heard the Gospel & subsequently put our trust (faith) in Jesus, we were immediately given God's Seal of Promise. And this came to us through His Gift of His Spirit into our lives. And this was absolutely necessary to happen, as the Spirit's Presence is the "earnest" (the guarantee) of our inheritance: inheritance of our new relationship to the Godhead, of all of God's Blessings, Power, Joy & Peace and the guarantee that God would never leave us or forsake us, just as God promised in His Word: Deuteronomy 13:6 & the direct NT quote in Hebrews 13:5. And this Promise is fully seen by the presence of the Spirit in the lives of God's children.

But Eph 1:14 goes on to say that this "sealing" & this "guarantee" by the Spirit is only until "the redemption of the purchased possession". I understand this to mean that when we finally get to Heaven (& indeed, 'what a day of rejoicing that will be'), the Spirit's presence will no longer be indwelling us as we will be in the presence of God & His Son Jesus. Jesus, in Heaven right now, is seated at His Father's right Hand & in the Body (now glorified) He had on Earth. And so we too shall be (1 John 3:2) in the day of our translation (Rapture) when both those alive & dead in Christ arise to be with the Lord forever.

So our Redemption comes in two phases: redemption of our spiritual entity, when our spirits once given over to serving Satan, now have been redeemed by Christ's Blood to belong to & serve our Holy God. And redemption of the physical, when our bodies are transformed to live with Him.

Patricia, are these the verses you're thinking of?

John 3:5-8: "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."

In this passage, Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader, who approached Jesus to have a chat. He came discreetly at night to Jesus to avoid the possible gossip amongst his peers about this encounter. He also came with a great confirmation: "Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him." Jesus could have replied & told him what he probably wanted to hear, "Nicodemus you have correctly spoken about Me so God accepts you", but I believe that Jesus, as He usually did, looked at his heart & motive, when he answered him with verses 5-8 (above).

Jesus could see that Nicodemus wanted Him, as a Rabbi (Teacher) to congratulate him & confirm His goodness, yet Jesus told him that a spiritual re-birth was necessary before you can be congratulated & confirmed by God. We are born once into the world & die & suffer coming judgement. But those who are born again, not by a natural birth, but a spiritual birth, will not die spiritually & not come under condemnation & judgement ( Romans 8:1).

But if this is not the answer you're looking for, then if you could please explain further your question "by not knowing people born with the Spirit"?

You need a study Bible. I use the King James Study Bible and it is wonderful! Provides explanation of scripture, references to other scripture, many notes that are very beneficial and translation of words. You can also use your phone, tablet or computer to Google scripture and include the word "meaning"(exp. John 3:16 meaning) in your search. Pray for the Holy Spirit to help you understand what you are reading! As always, give thanks to God for the ability to have a Bible in your hands!

Faith comes by hearing the word of God and believing to the point of trust: Jesus is the Word, made flesh; He is alive today by the word ( the Bible). He not a man that he should lie!! - He is the Truth at all times. He fullfilled the plan of God for everyone JOHN 3:16. Oh! ,what a Gift - Life and being reconciled to our Father. (please read Romans chapter 5) Joy will cause jumping .,skipping and crying, but this joy ALSO gives peace ,down on the inside because of the truth (He gave us his Word ) So when the devil come in the middle of the night to accuse you, He(the devil) is doing what he got put out of heaven for.(Revelation12:10 ). It's not knowing in your intelligence what Jesus has done for you, but in your spirit by the word of God; then receive it, into your heart that it may grow in your born-again spirit

And if you believe and know by how your life has changed from within (your desires has changed) Just think Born Again-Old things passed away- a babe in Christ- seek the word like a baby seeks milk - eat it!!!!!!! the word..A new baby dont try to figure it out He/she is just happy to be alive...in your case alive in Christ ;because without Christ there is no Life....I thank God and His son, Jesus for you, The Angel rejoice at your salvation ,Me too...rejoice with us..for the gift you have received you are saved by graced..that not of yourself. It had

nothing to do with what you did or didnt do...Its not your righteousnes that makes us acceptable but the imputed righteousness of our Savior Jesus The Christ..It was by faith in the word...and the work of Jesus on the Cross. The devil is Lying again !!!

Read: Romans 5:8 - St John 17 chapt. Ephesian 2:8 Ephesian2:5..Jesus knows our end back to the beginning.....REJOICE! .REJOICE !

LET US ALL HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS..IT'S ONLY ONE CHURCH- FIND YOURSELF IN THE 7; REVELATION 1-3 Lets Pay special attention to the church in Sardis

This same Jesus, fully man & fully Divine, was crucified, buried, resurrected & ascended to the Father's right Hand. Where once, the Word proceeded out from God, the Word now in flesh, raised in a heavenly Body, sits as the Divine Man at God's right Hand. So Jesus, as we too will be in Heaven, can communicate with each other - I see no problem with this ( Hebrews 7:25).

And in regards to polytheism, by definition, is the multiplicity of gods. The Triune God is definitely not a polytheistic god - that would be sacrilege indeed. We don't have three gods in Heaven - there is only One God expressed in three Persons; I think you are understanding the Trinity teaching from a polytheistic perspective - God cannot be understood like that. If you see Jesus or the Holy Spirit as a lesser Entity, then you have not understood the Doctrine of God - all three in the Godhead are equally God & are the One God: co-equal & co-eternal.

I gave you the example of your personal trinitarian existence, Hugo: you're composed of spirit, soul & body. Do you accept that? Without even one of those 'parts' you wouldn't be Hugo - maybe you could be some type of sub-human or just floating about in spirit form. Or with the Sun in the Universe: a body of hot gases, giving heat & giving light (3 parts of the one). It wouldn't be a sun as we know, if any entity of it was absent. These are of course poor examples to try & explain the Triune God, but I'm trying to show you that a Trinity does not necessarily mean three that are separate from each other, but can also mean three in one, as with God. But in Heaven now, Jesus is seen as separate because of his taking on of flesh & rising in a heavenly Body. We will be like him in Heaven (1 John 3:2). So please rid your mind that Christians entertain a polytheistic belief of God - that is a wicked belief, as you clearly wrote. Blessings.

Revelation 4:2: yes, that does show John viewing One sitting on the Throne, but when you read further in Revelation 5:6-9, we also see Jesus (God's Word sent to be made human, but now ascended to sit at God's right Hand). And we know that Jesus & God are there in Heaven by this verse & also Romans 8:34. So God's Word was made flesh & called "Jesus" but raised as 'God Who is also Man' in that Body fitted for Heaven, even as we shall be in that day (1 John 3:2). And yes, it was God's Plan from the beginning to have His children enjoy intimate fellowship with Him. And God is His Fullness (i.e. the Father, His Son & His Spirit Who are God in Unity) do enjoy such fellowship with His children. Each cannot feel differently about us (i.e. God cannot have fellowship with us, but the Son says "But I don't like that person, let's have a chat about this Father"). God is One & that Oneness is seen in His expressions of His Son & His Spirit & in their Unity & complete agreement.

Jesus as a 'created Being': Jesus' Sacrifice as a Man does indeed have spiritual consequences but cannot be seen as a spiritual Sacrifice. He was fully human & fully God, yet laying aside some of those Divine qualities for the purposes of the Incarnation & Sacrifice ( Philippians 2:5-11). To enable us to be convicted, to draw us to repentance, to give light & understanding, to renew us & fill us, to sanctify us & to raise us up to the heavenlies, is the work of God's Spirit. And Who is this Spirit? The self same Spirit that is part of the Father & the Son.

1 John 3:9: that's a separate subject that can be discussed if you desire, as its meaning needs analysis. Though the concept of sinless perfection is concerning. Blessings.

First of all nobody is perfect.( Romans 3:23-25) Second of all i will pray for you to the Father.( 1 Timothy 2:1-4) David, Solomon, Moses, Aaron, and others in the Bible were not perfect, sinned against God and were corrected for it.( Hebrews 12:6-11) The key thing we all need to do daily is repent of our sins because we are not perfect but Jesus Christ our Lord is and he loves us wanting the best for us.( 1 John 1:9)( 2 Peter 3:9) Our choices decide how close or distant we are from the Father.( James 4:7-10) The main thing we need to remember is that God loves use and created us for his pleasure.( Revelation 4:11) The Lord never falls short but we do. This is why he wants us to humble ourselves and ask him for forgiveness in sincerity.( Proverbs 28:13) If we are not pleasing to him he will correct us to keep us from being deceived and falling away from him. The Lord instructed use through his word and sacrificed himself to draw us closer to him.( John 1:1-5)( John 3:16) Pray believing in the Lord with a humble heart and talk to him, he loves you because your his child( Mark 11:24).

In the Court of God, all men are guilty of sin & have to pay the penalty. In the court of man, we pay for our crimes & we are then released, but with God our payment can only lead to an eternal separation from God with no possibility of release. How can Jesus then say in John 3:16, "God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son"? Does His Love extend to just another sacrifice that was no better than the former? Or, does His Love speak to us in this way: 'because no sacrifice could pay for your sins, I provided the Sacrifice that would fully meet My demands of justice & full payment - Myself'. This was the only Sacrifice possible - all others have failed & would fail.

Back to 1 John 4:3. Men in Jesus' day knew Who Jesus was: a man, his mother Mary & (supposed) father, Joseph. Even today, most would not deny an historical Jesus Who walked the Earth. So John is not speaking of that Jesus, as a man ("come in the flesh"), but from & of God. That spirit of anti-Christ, just as the final anti-Christ still to come, will deny the divinity of Jesus but will seek to replicate His humanity through power, signs & wonders.

If one is to deny Christ His Deity, then one has to go to much pain to deny the Spirit His Deity. But if forced only to accept God the Father & His Spirit as One, then one would subscribe to a Binity God & that won't work either. It is safest to say that God expressed Himself by His Word & by His Spirit. His Word went to the prophets to bring God's Message to His people. "But in these last days hath spoken to us by His Son" ("the Word (God's Word) was made flesh & dwelt among us") Heb 1:2; Jn 1:14.

Jim, if you're referring to Jesus while He was on Earth, consider 2 John 1:7, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist".

And Romans 8:3:"For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh".

After His Resurrection, He still had a human body: "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."

And Acts 1:10,11: "And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he (Jesus) went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

1 John 3:2, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

Here you see how important the Name of Jesus anointed has become for all deeds.! for Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

It is obvious they did not believe the Name of Jesus anointed was important in all their works and deeds performed. It proves here that they failed to use the Name in one or more of their works or DEEDS. I could make it easier but am not permitted to do so here. That's why the word requires we study to find the whole truth. Seek and you will find

The subject is the Name. All of a sudden they become aware how important the Name of Jesus anointed really is in all works or deeds! Get it? These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. John 3:18 .... he hath not believed in the Name!

John 3:16 is the clearest verus in the bible. Don't add anything to it and you have a perfect verus and can't be disputed.

Good day my brothers and sisters.

    Rob,

You seem to not want to believe that Christ existed before he was born in Bethlehem. Which is all through the Bible. He is the Son of God. With many other names too. Can you explain some of these verses with your interpretations?

Ephesians 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

    Colossians 1:13-20

    Hebrews 1:1-2- God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

John 3:12- If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (Jesus knowing about things of Heaven, if His Spirit had not been there before?)

John 6:38-39- For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Revelations 19:13- And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

In Revelations God says he is the Alpha and Omega. Also Jesus Christ says He is the Alpha and Omega.

There's more also. If you can't believe things in the Holy Scriptures. Ok, I don't look down on anyone. But please don't say we're making these things up or have a false view. It's not that hard to see. Especially with the Holy Ghost.

God Bless everyone. Have a wonderful day!
