shall all who claim to be Israel be saved?

Jesus in bible book Revelation 2:9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

So do these get saved without Jesus?

John in John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Jesus in Revelation 3:9 - Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, and I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Q: Is there another plan of salvation for unbelieving Jews?

A: Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (What name? Yeshua?)

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

Ezra 9:1 - Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Ezra 9:2 - For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the HOLY SEED holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands:

Who told you that? You can see the other translations for yourself by clicking on the verse and scrolling down to 'other translations'. All of them are nearly word for word and the meaning is exactly the same. So, whomever told you that was a fabrication.

Born again in the greek means born from above. and the water is the bag of water in the mother's womb. that's why the word said that the lord knew you before you were in your mother's womb. and the batism represents the reserection of christ. you are born into the flesh and you go under the water to represent the burial of christ. then when you are brought back up it represents the resurection of christ. your spirit and soul enter into the flesh at conception. so that's where the born again comes from. and yes we should be baptized as christ was.
  • Shaarei on John 3:5 - 4 years ago
Born AGAIN does not refer to the first birth or our Lord would not have said AGAIN. Born of Water in baptism in water or Paul would not have said repent and be BAPTISED for the remission of your sins and Ye shall receive the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy of our Lords Spirit is the only unforgivable Sin. If we don't walk in Our Lords Spirit to Follow in our Lords WAY...We will be told depart from me Ye workers of iniquity, I never knew you... No man enters our Lirds Kingdom without Our Lords Spirit Leading them there. All Glory to the King of All days. The Sovereign Lord of All things, the Redeemer of All mankind. There is nothing too hard for our God

1-3 above, we again see and learn of THE POWER OF GOD. Above IT restrained the enemy.

Note: This same POWER OF Jehovah /GOD in 1-3 is made available to us (see John 3:16-21 or similar verses) and when we daily rightly seek /draw-on this POWER OF GOD we individually are empowered by HIM to 'restrain our self' from being our own worse enemy. One of many examples of being my own worse enemy is: where applicable we became comfortable allowing ourselves to be deceived or we deceive ourselves by looking to /for fragile humans, money, or stuff to do for us that which GOD has reserved for HIMSELF to do for us through HIS POWER.
  • John L - In Reply on 1 Kings 20 - 4 years ago
    Chris,

You bring up some interesting points.

I would like to ask a few questions.

If it is true that "our spiritual change was accomplished at our repentance and re-birth at the foot of the cross," then do you believe "once saved, always saved"? I have not found that understanding to be in Scripture.

You also state that "This is purely a bodily change as will occur to those who "sleep in Christ." Do you believe that no person that has already died is in heaven with God and Jesus? If they are in heaven, do they have any "garments" ( Revelation 16:15) on?

You are correct concerning 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 being the same (end-time teaching), however, they cover death (rendered "sleep") from a slightly different angle.

The lesson we are given in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 has to do with a question posed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:12 concerning, in general, "the resurrection of the dead" ( 1 Corinthians 15:12). If you believe that Christ rose from the dead, then those that (have already) sleep / die / pass on, are already with Him, ( 1 Corinthians 15:13), also look at John 3:12, Romans 8:6.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Paul states that "We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent (Strong's #5348- precede) them which are asleep (dead). Why? Because they are already dead: This is why "the dead in Christ shall rise first" ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16). So, "If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which sleep (have already died) in Jesus will God bring with Him (at the 7th trump)" ( 1 Thessalonians 4:14). The dead are not in a hole in the Ground, they are with the Father the moment they pass ( Ecclesiastes 12:6-7). Ecclesiastes 12:7 is the O.T. reference as to why Paul states "By the word of the Lord" in 1 Thessalonians 4:14.

You need to stay in Luke 15. Backsliding isn't really enjoyable. When all your money is gone, all those good pals move on.

The more you stray, the more you struggle to come back home where you are loved.

The conviction in your heart means the Holy Spirit is still dealing with you.

There's a stronger word written in Deuteronomy 30:14-19

I wish someone had told me that when I was younger. I wasted a lot of years.

When you are Born Again, John 3:3-21, you will receive help from the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all Truth.

Confess weakness at 1 John 1:9. Every day if need be. Receive strength. Gods mercies are new EVERY morning. Remember to thank Him for it.

Satan hates to lose one; but you make it clear that he has NO claim on you.

You wrote in. I think you are going to make it. I pray The Lord would reveal His Glory and blessing on you; keep His hand on your Life and strengthen you.

Build a little block of time in your days to spend in the Bible. Read the Gospels how strong and focused Jesus was. How aware of the people around him, he was. He didn't talk over their heads. He spoke plainly and openly.

If Jesus had 99 sheep in the fold and you had wandered a distanceHe would come find you.

First I want to tell you that just now, Jesus showed me you are much beloved. I thought of John 4, about his meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well. He is meek and humble of heart. He had this conversation (you read it too) and he gently dealt with her about her sin. He didn't rail on her. Just simply stated what she already knew. She was so overjoyed she ran to town and told friends, Come see a Man who told me all things! The whole town gets saved. The disciples tried to get him to eat & take a nap, but nothing doing. That's what he is Like.

I met Him; face to face, for seconds. You met him too. Never doubt what you know to be true. The wonderful part is that The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Jesus wants you to be sure of your salvation and of what the Holy Spirits ministry is...for you. You have expressed some confusion and I will address that. In your Bible read John 3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus about being born again. You should see the links to press on to read those chapters on here now.

You can pray this prayer to be sure. "I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. That Jesus was born by Mary, a Virgin. I believe that Jesus lived a perfect sinless life on earth. I believe he was crucified for the sins of the whole world, throughout all time. On the 3rd Day, God raised Jesus from the dead. Where He ever lives to make intercession for all Saints."

    John 3:18, 6

Acts 2:38 Hold up your arms and say: I receive the Promise of the Holy Spirit. I am born again.

Acts 2:1. You've been quickened and your spirit is alive to the Holy Spirit, and you are baptized.

How do you know that Jesus and the Holy Spirit just came into your life?

Because God promised it. God never Lies and never changes His mind. "I change not".

The Holy Spirit will help you understand your Bible. He's your Teacher. Your Helper. Your Comforter; He tells us when we are wrong: convicts us in the heart. He speaks through the heart.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

48 Then answered the Jews Then answered the Jews

King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in

John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

    Jim,

Yes, Jesus is deserving of praise. You do well to praise Him and realize that He is all you need. I agree that He died for all. There are many places in scripture that show that Christ shed His blood for all and that salvation is offered to all who will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You quoted Part of John 3:16, but here are a few other verses that agree with what you are saying: 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 John 4:14, 1 John 2:2, John 1:29, John 4:42, Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:10, Hebrews 9:26, Hebrews 9:12.

So you are correct in saying that Jesus suffered and died for all, but unfortunately not all will receive Him. From what you are saying, I can assume that you've received Christ. Continue to praise Him and always keep Him first in your heart and life. God bless!

11 and after three days and an half the 'Spirit Of Life' from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Note: Again!! JEHOVAH /GOD proves HIS POWER over death, as we see in verse 11 where the Spirit Of Life from GOD.....therefore all in 2020 that rightly apply John 3:16-21 or similar verses can be assured the same Spirit Of GOD SHALL 'raise & reward' as stated in verse 18.
  • Chris - In Reply on John 3 - 4 years ago
Jo jo, if you are referring to John 3:21, then we see Jesus talking about light, that He had come as the Light of the World (v 19). However, since evil people rather prefer the darkness or else their evil deeds will be revealed by the light, Jesus uses this metaphor to show that those who are righteous (i.e. come to the Light), do so, so that their good lives will be manifest. And this good lifestyle will be seen as not of man but of God. So the word 'wrought' is this Scripture, means that ones good living & works are performed through God & for God, unlike those doing evil, who do it through the promptings & power of Satan.

Millstone sounds are heard when corn and wheat is being ground for food but that day the milestones are silenced forever by destruction. Her light no longer shine thereby attracting nobody because she is now destroyed and in a form of darkness, also it appear the Godly-Joy found in marriage cease to exist. 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Note: GOD seriousness is so great about the destruction of this Babylon, therefore HE allows HIS angel to go into specific details for us to know the destruction will be quick & violently for this Babylon. The Angel gives an example of how quick & violence the destruction shall be, see verse 8, 21; example; imagine a giant 20,000 pound stone /rock being dropped into the ocean from an airplane; it will hit the water with a very powerful force and very quickly disappear, sinking to the deepest part /bottom of the ocean to never be found again.

Though this Babylon /a evil system is forever destroyed, all us who rightly applied John 3:16-21 is secured, thereby Shall be at the Marriage Supper Of The Lamb.

Michael, there was Jewish religious leader that asked a similar question to yours & you're probably aware of the story. His name was Nicodemus & he was confused when Jesus told him that he needed to be born again to see God's Kingdom (Read John 3:1-7). Nicodemus thought what Jesus meant by re-birth, was a second natural, physical birth, which of course, is laughable (as can be seen in verse 4). But Jesus then qualified his statement further, saying that a person must first be born physically (i.e. by water (v 5) which is the flesh (v 6)), and then secondly, to enter God's Kingdom, he must also be born spiritually (vv 5 & 6 again).

So, Yes, re-birth by the Spirit, is true & that miracle can only take place when a person repents of his sin, humbles himself before God, & believes in the completed work of Jesus, accepting His death for him on the cross. There is no other way to receive new birth, though some have tried by leading a monastic lifestyle, self-improvement exercises & acts of piety, but all that serves is to bring on self-effort to attaining perfection (which will never happen) or trying to eliminate all their sin (which is impossible without a Perfect Sacrifice being made). So, I hope you can see that re-birth can only be an act by God upon a truly repentant person & not by man, and it is an act that isn't humanly understood, since the new birth takes place deep in one's life - in the spirit.

I am not sure of the one you said who claimed to be a prophet is indeed a prophet, that I don't know nor do I dare to say anything on what I don't know for you should not go against the Lord's anointed and nor should we speak any idle words, for that is what God is going to judge of for according to Matthew 12:36.

HOWEVER, that being said, the person is not wrong at all as one can lose their salvation. I am sorry for those who have lied to you saying otherwise by picking and choosing (usually from brother Paul-it's as if they follow him rather than Jesus), but in taking in what Jesus says and the Bible as a whole, you certainly can. I would recommend in reading all of (1-3) John (1 John 3:8-9, 1 John 1:6, ! John 3:6 specifically), Hebrews (Hebrew 10:26 specifically), and the Book of James regarding the point, but we can look at one simple parable from Jesus at the end of Matthew 18 ( Matthew 18:23-35 specifically) completely dismantling the false and utter lie from the devil OSAS doctrine. For we see a man who have sinned, was cleansed, forgiven, and saved and, then after this he sins again and is taken by the tormentors (hell). We also got Romans 11:22 (The same Paul these Calvinistic OSAS guys like to quote from), "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be [cut off.]" Couldn't be clearer.

These people, are liars from the flesh, not getting their the truth from the Bible or the Holy Spirit but from either their flesh or men of the flesh learning from other men of the flesh. God Bless you, brother. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and Guide you, there are liars in many places, including here as you can see above (excluding Mishael). Blessings! ;)

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for GOD hath avenged you on her.

JEHOVAH /GOD takes all responsibility for this destruction of Babylon The Great, so what can a human say about this final decision of JEHOVAH /GOD in this or such matters as this. We live in a day /2020 where most humans have set ourselves as a judge over GOD, and forgetting GOD's POWER created the dust of the ground and all us are the descendants from HIS dust of the ground; so HE has authority to return Babylon /us back to dust of the ground at HIS WILL. 11-19 explains, though she was very blessed by Jehovah /GOD, she as a whole loved and included sins into her, see verse 5. 11-19 explains how she filled the void of the world especially pretending to be a defender of life, liberty, , she was blessed by GOD to be a light to the world and to sit as Queen of global commerce, thereby Merchant sailed to her from around the world to buy & sell & sell and buy, causing her money to become great globally, and her money sailed around the world into every country or king's treasury. But in one hour so great riches is come to nought because of her sins. Her money printing machines SHALL go up in smoke and everybody on earth shall be broken-heated,see verse 11. Jan, I feel the same way. I am a true believer and love God and Jesus to! I also fear God but I also love him just as much! I worry that I am not living up to his standards because I do not like to mingle with a bunch of people like in Church. Not that they are rude or anything I just am not the type. I read something about God almost every day and every time I do he lifts me up and he has answered my prayers and one prayer he answered for me in about 5 Min. Just blew me away and him and only him would have known what I needed and after that I could feel him when I was in certain places in the house and it was a wonderful feeling!! I am afraid I am not living up to his standards and it really does worry me! I do think if I went to Church I would get the answers I am lookin for. What I do is look back to John 3:16, and that really sums it up for me. I wish with all my heart I felt better about everything because it is the most important thing in your life and I want to go to Heaven. I am no where at all a bad person. Gods word is getting fulfilled very fast right now! Amen

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her my people, that ye be not

partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues

Note: before the plagues are released on her or Babylon the great, there is a WARNING from HEAVEN by way of a VOICE. The VOICE is directed to a specific group of people in her or Babylon the great, and this VOICE says "Come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues".

In verse 8 we see the plagues that shall be released on Babylon the great.

    5 speaks very, very, clearly.

    6 speaks very, very, clearly.

    7 speaks very, very, clearly.

    8 speaks very, very, clearly.

Note: with one's SALVATION secured through verses such as John 3:16-21 we can ask GOD for the strength to obey the VOICE... another not by sight but FAITH event.
