Alex; While we're using the simile of planting seed, in the parable of the sower the different kinds of hearts were the responsibility of the men who had them; for this is the teaching. A heart trampled down hard by sin and the world, an unprepared heart, a wrongly planted seed among the cares and pleasures of this world, and an honest and good heart: all these have their effect on what we become.

Disciple ty for reading me..27 times in the O.T. the prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains, simply b/c of the bridegroom and his seed which is the WORD,he does not refer to himself as the bridegoom for nothin, he has a seed to sow in humanity, which is the world,he says the field is the world where that good seed will be sown n our hearts , THATS Y HE HAS TO KNOW US
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
Alex; What does it mean that Christ shall be born in you? There is no place where the LORD or the Prophets ever use words like, "Impregnate the world." The Lord Jesus Christ came not to "spiritually" breed with the world, but to call His Elect OUT OF THE WORLD! Being "Born from above" is as when the Spirit and the power of God overshadowed the Lord's mother, when we receive the Word in our heart.
  • Alex on John 3 - 7 years ago
Just as adam multiplied himself with his corruptible seed making humanity corruptible, Christ that 2 nd adam is gonna impregnate this whole world with his INCORRUPTIBLE SEED making humanity INCORRUPTIBLE,thats y we must be BORNAGAIN of INCORRUPTIBLE SEED WHICH ARE THE WORDS OF GOD,thats y the woman is giving birth in rev 12, we are that woman that is gonna birth christ, the field is the world, US
  • Alex on John 3 - 7 years ago
Being born again means we are gonna birth Christ in our lives/hearts, that's why the sower wants to sow his seed in our hearts, that it might initiate a birth of Christ in us, that's why he always refers to himself as the son of man, which is the very essence of the new covenant, when Jeremiah saw the new covenant he also saw all men giving birth, simply because that incorruptible seed is the very seed of Christ

John 3: 18 I know whom I have chosen but that the scripture may be fulfilled. Judas was only chosen to betray the lord to facilitate the mission of the lord. May the good lord choose us for something positive.

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in deed and in truth

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When we are born on earth, the water breaks and we are born, but when we believe his Word with all our heart, we are born in the Holy Spirit of God. That means born again. Thank you Jesus for that free gift of life that is for ever .

VS 27 does this verse mean that whatever doors open or close it is the doing of GOD.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
Ray; regarding the thing with Mr. Diffin; which you came in on after the fact; it is just like you quote here: he was calling into question "the whole Christian interpretation of the Scriptures" as if we were intentionally "twisting them" to make them to mean Jesus. The aprt where you came in was when I tried to show him, but he just wants to quarrel, and NOT BELIEVE. You can't "reason" with that!
  • Ray321 on John 3 - 7 years ago
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned and avoid them. Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I know if I tell the truth about the Gospel, people might see the Light and believe. Share the Gospel....
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
"But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." I know that there are some very stern-minded brothers and sisters, who are scared to death to admit that they still miss the mark. But we have to think like God thinks, and be honest first of all; or we'll never truly attain that victory we so strongly preach to others. ( Luke 18:9-14)

David; the Lord bless you, brother! I already guessed as much however :) and I hope you understand that the things I write are for your building up and encouragement! The Lord showed me right away when I was saved, that I need to first of all have a set time of seeking Him first every day in the Bible; and to write down what I was learning (or thought I saw) into a notebook, to REALLY LEARN IT!
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr disciple: I'm sorry, I'm going to read All the past comments more carefully. I believe we are saved by Grace, If I didn't I wouldn't be Born Again. But what I was saying was that we as believers SADLY do sometimes fail. But Jesus Promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As you said Mr disciple He will never give up on weak believers. Even if we do backslide we are still saved.
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr disciple: I totally agree we are saved by Grace. My testimony. I was a vile, unclean sinful person. But then I came to Christ repented from my sins and put my faith and trust in Christ. I believe that Jesus took my place on the Cross, suffered, bled and died for ME and rose the third day. I am now a new creature, saved by Grace and have NO disire to go back to my old life. I DO NOT look back.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. For Ever . AMEN
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
David; you said,"If we say we are saved and then keep sinning, we Never were saved." In one sense, yes; but in another we will need the Lord's mercy and one another's as long as we are here; and we will need grace also when we have to forgive and bear with others; and this will take time and practice! Yes we ARE new creatures in Christ; old things ARE passed away, and ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
David; of course I agree! I know in my heart and am fully convinced that Jesus' blood cleanses from all sin when we confess them and repent. I also know that the Lord Jesus laid down His life and died for us, and we cost Him dearly: and He doesn't so easily give up on stupid and weak believers, nor on them that may have fallen prey to wicked things in corrupted leadership. Jesus' grace is greater!
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
David; I'm sorry, but I think you completely misunderstood me! I was actually agreeing with you and trying to support.
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr disciple: V16, When we repent from our sins and put our faith and trust in Christ, He will forgive us and we have a new life. If we say we are saved and then keep sinning, we Never were saved. We have to truly repent from our sins, forsake them and then He will save us. I'm hopeing you agree?
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr disciple: I think you misunderstood my comment, I totally believe that God forgives ALL SINS and that He will never remember them again. If I didn't believe that I wouldn't be Born again. John 3v16 " should not perish". if we believe in Him. I BELIEVE IN HIM. Are you saying that you've have never done anything wrong since you were Born Again? Christ died so that All sins can be forgiven.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr. Kelly; you cannot expect the Lord to have mercy on you when you don't believe in mercy toward your fellow-servants. You have not walked without fault since the day you were saved; yet you beat your brethren over the head with the Word of God as if you had; and see no possible way for it to be otherwise. Humility is always honest, and is the better part of valor. Love is kind and considerate.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
David; God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; THAT whoever believes in Him SHOULD NOT perish, but have everlasting life. Christ came into the world to SAVE sinners; of whom I am chief. Not for us to continue in sins, of course! but that through repentance there SHOULD BE the remission of sins; and a conversion from idols to God, and darkness to light; EMPOWERED BY THE SPIRIT!
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr. Kelly; the devil is no man's friend! and he is no ones advocate! the devil doesn't go before God to argue the case of sinners against Him. How ridiculous! I've never heard such baloney! You sound like the Pharisees who were always looking to catch the Lord at something He said or did; and were scandalized by His kindness and respect for the common man; and scrutinize and condemn the guiltless.
  • A disciple on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr. Kelly; YOU ARE OFF! Mercy rejoices against judgment! But you have no mercy! You stand straight up with clenched fists to God's Word and say, NO! No Advocate for anyone who loves the Lord and falls! No Mercy! Only the righteous shall be saved! (blah blah blah) Jesus came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance: they that "THINK" they're whole have no need of the SAVIOUR Physician.
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
Mr Kelly: No man can be saved unless he 100% willingly turns repents from his sins. No one can be saved if they willingly hold onto their sins. We can only be saved once we relies that we are vile, helpless and guilty sinners, and then the Lord Jesus will save.
  • David Davies on John 3 - 7 years ago
I think you miss understood me Mr Norlan I totally believe and am thankful to the Lord that He forgives sin past and future, what I was saying was that when we are saved, SADLY we do sin NOT because we want to or do it on purpose. And it makes God VERY SAD when the ones He's forgiving do sin. Like Peter in the New Testament, he sinned in denying Christ but he was still saved and God forgave him.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Philippians 3 - 7 years ago
Steve: all sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8, I am an ex-sinner saved by grace. Is Christ your leader to do the devil's dirty work to sin? God forbid. Galations 2:17] But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on John 3 - 7 years ago
Norlan: Again out of context with Romans 7. Paul is telling us who he was and not who he is. Paul uses the law of divorce and remarriage to show you have to be dead to one in order to be married to another. Paul is telling us when he was under sin sin had rule over him Genesis 4:7. Now he rules over sin Romans 8:1 he is pulling you out of Romans 7.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - 7 years ago
David: No love at all in John 3:16 it is in John 3:18. John 3:16 is past tense and conditional. Man are holding unto a false love in John 3:16 lov((ed)) NOT lov((es)) ((whosoever)) NOT ((everybody)) basic English 101. John 3:16] For God so lov((ed)) the world, that he ((gave)) his only begotten Son, that ((whosoever)) believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
