Dear Linda, I wanted to respond also to the part of your letter about God's Word saying that no man has seen God at anytime. I found the scripture, and some more that relate to it. No man can see God, but mankind, to whomever He will reveal Himself, can see His Christ; His Image; His only begotten Son, which is also His Word; words, and is the Sword of His Spirit, and we can see God, the Father IN the Face of God's Word; God's only begotten Son; Christ Jesus. The reason Christ is the ONLY begotten of God; the Father, is because Christ was always with God, always existed, was always part of that which is God, and literally CAME FORTH from God. All mankind that receives Christ is born of; begotten of, God BY Christ; BY God's Word, and by His Spirit, thus the Spirit of God's Word. For, the WORDS of Christ are spirit and life.
It is IN the Face; the WORDS, of Christ, that we see; perceive, and come to know, the Father. As, Christ Jesus is the EXPRESS Image of God, the Father. As, Christ was/is the very HEART of God, the Father, expressed unto us. Christ IS the Word, and thus the WORDS of the Father, speaking unto us. As it is written:
I John 3:I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
When Christ Jesus says 'My words,' they are not His as far as where; Who, they came from. The words of God's Word; Christ, are the words of His Father, just as Christ; God's Word, is God's; the Father's.
There are so many beautiful and deep things touched upon in the prayer that Jesus Christ prayed to His Father in John, chapter 17. One thing is that He says, in so many words, 'Father, you gave mankind ME, and I gave them your WORDS.
John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou GAVEST THEM ME; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have GIVEN unto them THE WORDS which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is NOT MINE, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
_________________________________________________ John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD at any time; the only begotten Son, which is IN THE BOSOM bosom of the Father, he hath DECLARED him.
John 6:63 (Jesus said...)63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: THE WORDS that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

as stated in the bible, "for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever belives in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 God loved us soooo much that he sent his son to die on the cross for us and wash away our sins by shedding his blood. God is a merciful God and he should be praised and worshipped every minute and hour of our lives, he gave us breath. Some of us went to bed with our family and friends, but some did not wake up with us, so if you are living, you have all cause to praise your Jehovah. A song for you to sing in your heart- " Our God is such an awesome God, Our God is such an awesome God, see how he loves me, see how he loves you, our God is such an awesome God.Thank you God, thank you Father, and thank you Holy Spirit. God bless you all.
John 3:14 Jesus became sin for us. Go back to where Moses lifted up the serpant in the wilderness. The children of Israel were instructed through Moses By God. Jesus had to become sin for Us so that we can be the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is what the Word of God teaches
None of you know the Bible or salvation!Jesus was not talking about water batism!it means born of a modan and born of the Spirit of God.In Acts the people had already received the Holy Sirit but they had not been baptized. Have you read John 3:16,and all the other verses in John about believing on Christ for everlasting life!!read Eph.2:8,9. Eph 1:13 after you believed you were sealed with the Holy Sprit. This is especially for Catholics,a baby does not receive Christ when christened nor was Mary sinless, nor is there any purgetory, neither does the Pope speak for God,that's blasphemy! The Bible is the only authority!! Which none of there false teachings are in the Bible!!
I thinn it is truth what jesus son of god said in john-3-3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Gen 4 Adam knew his wife Eve .....Cain was born,
the humanistic line. IN 5 WE have a line that seeks
after God. Gen. 5:24 Enoch walked with God. As in Gen 6:9 Noah walked with God. Just think about the promise of Gen. 3:15 the virgin born Son of God.
Remember in Gen. 4:4 ,what did Abel bring? Thank
God for 1John 1:7 , John 1:9. Heb 13:11-12 and Heb 9;7-14 Then Enoch, Gen 5:24 and 1Thessalonians 4:13-18 especially 4:17 Hope everyone who reads this is ready 2Cor. 13:5, John 3:16 and Rom. 10:9&10.
First 2Peter 1:19-21 no private interpretation.
In Genesis 3 man sinned. In Genesis 4 Cain does not bring a blood sacrifice like Abel. Hebrews 9;22 Gen. 1 Man was alone no women just think about
that, note Matt 22:30, too bad he did not speak up
in Gen 3 during the conversation of Eve and the
serpent. Now just where did Cain get his wife ?
Like his dad there weren't too many women to choose from. Eve was Adam's rib. Let us just stay
with what God wants us to know. Prov. 30:5-6, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Rev. 21:8 and John 3:16
Thank God for His word for word translation the
A.K.J.V. God's HOLY BIBLE.
REGARDING VERSES 8-10: The difference between those of mankind that are born of God, and those that are not, is that those that are not have not received Christ. Until they do, they CANNOT repent in the way of true repentance. This is why no one need repent IN ORDER to receive Christ, since one CANNOT until and unless one does, and this is why the gifts and the calling are WITHOUT repentance.
Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
As, it is the love and GOODNESS OF GOD in Christ that LEADS a man unto repentance.
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS OF GOD leadeth thee to repentance? Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD, which is IN Christ Jesus our Lord.
Yet, we are still all brothers in Christ, regardless of those that have not received Him from and with their hearts so that He may be IN them. As, He died for ALL, even for those who are considered to be SINNERS as we were before we recieved Him. ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:15 And that he DIED FOR ALL, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Also, while we that are born of God cannot commit sin, as far as WITH the 'mind of Christ,' which is God, and which we have, we CAN sin WITH THE FLESH, by yielding to sin, and thereby serving sin. ROMANS 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then WITH the MIND I myself serve the law of God; but WITH the FLESH the law of sin.
The MIND refered to is NOT the CARNAL mind, whch is FLESH:
Romans 8:7 Because the CARNAL MIND is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
But the MIND of Christ, which is SPIRIT:
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the MIND OF CHRIST.
Although we CAN sin, that NEW CREATURE we each are in Christ CANNOT. If we serve sin with our flesh, thereby LETTING sin have it's way, we are allowing our OWN WILL, instead of God's to take control. However, having the MIND of CHRIST, God HIMSELF gave us HIS WILL to resort to, meaning we can SAY NO to our own fleshly; carnal, will, and turn it back to the WILL of God:
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both TO WILL and to do of his good pleasure.
That 'TO WILL' is one of the gifts of the Spirit of God, PRAISE GOD, He has made it EASY on us:
Romans 6:12 LET NOT sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
We are GODLY because we have RECEIVED, and have continued to LOVE, Christ, DESPITE our inclination to yield to sin, and thus we REMAIN IN Him, having our sins COVERED by His BLOOD, giving us grace, and time, to repent of any sin/s we have not yet repented of, and receive the forgiveness for, the and cleansing away, of our sins the moment we repent.
It is BECAUSE we have received Christ, and ARE thus SPIRIT BEINGS; SPIRIT of God's Spirit; BORN of God, that we, despite our sins, are GODLY, and it is BECAUSE we are GODLY that we CAN, and, by God, we WILL repent of; CONFESS, our sins unto the LORD. Hear this Old Testament prophetic prayer that clarifies that the GODLY are inclined to sin, as far as to yield to it, and to HAVE SIN to admit to, and confess, unto the LORD. And as you read, take note that the GODLY are those that, DESPITE their sins, TRUST IN THE LORD, are BLESSED, RIGHTEOUS, UPRIGHT IN HEART, COMPASSED ABOUT WITH MERCY, AND SONGS OF DELIVERANCE, and HID in Christ, HID from the WRATH of God, as the blood of Christ covers our sins:
PSALMS 32:2 BLESSED is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I ACKNOWLEDGED my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I WILL confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6 For THIS shall EVERY one that is GODLY pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Thou art my HIDING place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt COMPASS ME ABOUT with songs of DELIVERANCE. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, MERCY shall COMPASS HIM ABOUT.
11 Be glad IN the LORD, and rejoice, ye RIGHTEOUS: and shout for joy, all ye that are UPRIGHT IN HEART.
NONE of this means that a born again child of God can serve sin, and refuse to repent, and still be saved in the end. God's Word warns us. God is a just God, warning the righteous to NOT forsake Him, and warning the unrighteous to turn unto Him.
In the meanwhile, prior to physically dying, which if one that received Christ dies with any sins being unrepented of, then that person had to have ceased to LOVE the righteousness of God, which is Christ Jesus. And that soul will be cut off from Him:
Colossians 1:23 If ye CONTINUE IN the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; CONTINUE IN them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
ROMANS 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou CONTINUE in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Even if we yield to sin, to, at that point NEED to repent, IN ORDER TO continue in the goodness of God, it is God's GOODNESS that, at that point, LEADS us UNTO repentance.
So, what is the problem if we serve sin, if we WILL, however eventually, repent? Well, in the meanwhile we get bombarded with lies and feelings of DOUBT that we ARE godly, righteous, blessed, etc., and we start THINKING as if we are NOT these things, and our JOY and CONFIDENCE becomes less and less. THAT is how Satan WANTS us to think and feel. But since Christ has died for our sins, Satan can NOT any longer make us his servants, and KEEP us in bondage to sin. It is NO LONGER Satan's grounds; jurisdiction; right. As, NOW, it is only WE, YOU YOUSELF, I MYSELF, that can keep us, you, me, being a servant to, in bondage to, sin, meaning we can STOP IT, REFUSE IT, by turning unto the LORD to repent, and thereby be cleansed and receive the forgiveness of God INSTANTLY, and then PROCEED to CONTINUE in obedience unto the Lord. Any time we yield to sin, the FIRST STEP before we can continue to WALK in the Lord, is down on our knees, heartfully speaking, and repent. Is NOT repenting of our sins INSTILLED in the VERY prayer that Jesus instructs us to pray DAILY?
LUKE 11:3 Give us day by day our DAILY bread.
4 And FORGIVE US OUR SINS; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
When we hate sin, and are quick to repent of it, AND read; eat and drink, the Word; WORDS, of God, the less and less we are inclined to sin, as the LOVE OF GOD perfects us more and more each day.
But, due to the danger of our continuing in sin; putting of repentance, God loves us TOO much to not deal with us here and now for our own good, not according to our sins, which the wages of is death, but in order to correct us, and keep us from the dangers of being in sin:
1 Corinthians 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and CHASTEN: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
ROMANS 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed
________________________________________________
I will end with saying this unto all those that have received Christ; God's Word; God's RIGHTEOUSNESS, and who are therefore GODLY, RIGHTEOUS, who's righteousness is of the LORD, that, if you have sin, to date, that you have not repented of; have not acknowledged; admitted, and confessed, unto the LORD, here's the thing: You WILL. It's far better for you to not force your heavenly Father to HAVE to sorely chastise you, because He WILL if need be. And you know full well in your heart that, when it comes to where the rubber meets the road, should you be chastised of Him, you will NOT blaspheme Him as if He is unjust, or as if He does not love you (there IS no if,) but you will stand corrected, and repent of your sins before Him. So, knowing you WILL, why wait? There is no good reason to wait, and nothing but MANY good reasons to come clean NOW. Until you do, you, as far as the NEW CREATURE you are in Christ in your Innerman, has fallen asleep at the wheel so to speak, and is either in a spiritual coma, or is getting that way, and the LORD is calling you to WAKE UP! Don't you worry, if He has to SHAKE you, He will, since the longer you ignore Him, the more deaf your spiritual ears get.
And don't believe the lies of the devil telling you 'But you messed up AGAIN, and have repeately, and God's tired of hearing you repent,...'
As, first of all, if you are a MESS, you are your heavenly FATHER'S mess, and NONE of Satan's business whatsoever. You ARE upright, but it is Christ that is bearing you up. The moment you repent, it is embracing the One that holds you up.
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: NO good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he DIED FOR ALL, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Romans 5:12 for by one man sin entered the world and death by sin so death passed upon all men for in that all have sinned..... one day I asked God to teach me something I was on an assembly line and wanted to get my mind on something else to help the day go by.so he gave me this verse. I did not think there was anything there for me to know.I already knew about Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit . so i said Lord I already know all about that. And he said to me Eve ate first why did sin and death not enter the world when eve ate.and I said yes lord I never saw that before why did sin not enter the world when eve ate so over time this is what I think I have come to understand in order for Adam to sin he first needed a law 1John 3:4 whosoever commiteth sin transgresseth also the Law for sin is the transgression of the Law. Romans 4:15 for the Law worketh wrath for where no Law is there is no transgression without Law Adam could not become a transgressor Romans 4:16 For until the Law Sin was in the world but Sin is not imputed when there is no Law Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the Man saying of every tree in the garden thou mayest freely eat there of but of the tree of the Knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it for the day there in that thou eatest there of thou shalt surely die ...the commandment was only to Adam you you you... now I do not care what Eve said to the serpent she was not under the law because sin and death did not enter the world when she ate but when Adam ate she died being that she was made from him bone of his bone flesh of his flesh and when they had children they also were the children of Adam bone of his bone flesh of his flesh born dead what Adam lost when he ate was eternal life.there was no death in the world . anyway if God gave Eve the Law then sin and death would have come into the world by the woman and Jesus would have been born with sin through his mother no salvation
parrish i agree with what your saying, i didn't realize my message came across like that.. but i agree 100% with you that he's talkin about baptism.. and your 100% rite works alone will not get you into heaven.. like it says in jame "what is faith without works" sorry didn't mean it to come across that way... like it says in mark 16:16 "he who believeth and is baptized is saved; but he who beleiveth not isn't" i think that goes back to the verse in james.. what is faith without works... and obviously... alot of people get baptized just to do it... so i agree 100% with you on that ... sorry again didn't mean for my words to come out the wrong way! :)
I agree that he is speaking of baptism but that not it. He also speaks of the law. The law has not been done away with. Actually when i am re-born in christ i have more respect for the law. Jesus told the woman at the well to go and sin no more. Now if jesus would have told this woman to do something that was impossible to do and then hold her accountable for breaking it this would not be justic. See the word say that all things are possible through christ who strenghtens me. Not some things but all. Faith and works go hand in hand but works alone can not get you to heaven. That would be bargin chips in gods eye who am i to bargin with the creator of all things. I could never offer anything to the creator for my sins. But he can, he gave us his only son that who ever believe in him will not perish.
I feel that he is talking about baptism.. Remember when he told his disciples to go forth and baptize in his name in the book of Matthew... And all through the gospels he asked if the baptism was of him or of the man named john the Baptist. But yet in the end it was of him... when he told his disciples in Matthew to go forth and baptize in his name... You are a REBORN again Christian after your baptized in the name of the FATHER... and the SON and of the HOLY GHOST... "IF" it was as you say when you were born... Then why would it have "how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother womb and be born" <-- that shows you he's not talking about actual child birth... MOST men back then and now *which I’m about to prove to you* don't know about child birth... WHAT ABOUT SEASECTIONS... NOT ALL WOMEN BRAKE THERE WATER AND WHEN THEY DO IT DOESN'T EVEN TOUCH THE CHILD... ALSO... "If" that is the case... then in verse 7 when he says "yea must be born again" then I guess when you’re born your ok? AND RITE AFTER HE LEFT there him and john went and baptized *3:22* guess they were just giving each other baths? No friend... it doesn't work that way... Again doctoring has ruined the faith... he is plainly telling you that you have to be baptized. *NO IM NOT A BAPTIST* and I mean no offense
there is 2 inportant parts john 3 First is faith and secound is action. HE must increase and i must decrease. Jesus must increase in my actions are deeds and parrish(the world) must decrease in his deeds are action. When you are redeemed in christ the old is thrown away and the new is set in. I once spoke as a child but when i became a man i spoke as a man. Most people stop at 3:16 and think that it ends with faith but if you dont put the faith into action it is dead.
Are you going to judge God and say his plan is unfair? You would probably do better to say you just don't understand. 1Peter1:20 tells us that Christ was ordained before the foundation of the world for the saving of sinners, before there was sin. "He who knew no sin was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." God's love is sacrificial, for you.
"The only begotten Son" is that of the words whitch tie Jesus to "The Son of Man". To believe in him is to believe in his Authority. The only one on earth who could forgive Sins ie: (The man stricken with the palsey - could not walk ). Jesus describes this duality(Son of Man - Son of God) when he says whitch is it easier to say ; son thy sins be forgiven thee or to say arise pick up your bed and walk. Jesus choses to say the later.this reinforces his fathers(God's)Authority. In other words if you can't do this you cannot forgive sins on earth - priest = ?
PEACE UNTO WHOEVER FOLLOW THE TRUE GUIDANCE:
Why this verse which is the pillar of Christinity thrown out the Revised Standard Version of the bible and why in some bibles the word "begotten" is changed to "unique".
And why would the loving GOD has to be sacrifice is only "begotten/unique" son to save the mankind. That does not sound fair for the loving and just GOD!
I want to comment on verse 5, and say that being born of water refers back to being born the first time, as when a woman's water breaks. So, it was being confirmed by Jesus that just being born into a jewish family didn't guarantee you salvation, but you needed to be born again spiritually. Being born of spirit is when we believe the message of christ. Otherwise, if being born of water referred to being baptised, then we would need to be born 3 times, and not just 'born again' a second time. So, when Jesus says being born of water and the spirit, it's water being the physical birth and spirit being the spiritual birth.
One of the fundamental mistakes made by "christianity" is in the doctrine of process in whitch you commit yourself to jesus then through church doctrine you are brought in and taught of this( born again ), to be of water and spirit. but then you are told that the holy spirit will come to you . if you are not careful you set a person up to not be of the holy spirit co-joined with the spirit of truth but that they may be born of spirit only , exactly what jesus warns of.WATCH.
Getting into trouble a lot is not an ok thing if you really enjoy the bible. Knowing what the bible teaches makes you wise and will help you in this world. Nicodemus came to Jesus by night probably because he didn't want others to know he was there. He believed Jesus was from God but wanted to know more, like you. Jesus spoke to him in a way that was hard for him to understand when he said he must be born again. Nicodemus tried to reason it out but couldn't get it. Jesus then spoke to him in a word picture. That is, he explained to him something he was familiar with, the wind, and said born again is like that. "How can these things be?", said Nicodemus and that shows he still didn't understand. Jesus then goes on to remind Nicodemus about the serpent in the wilderness that Moses held up before the Israelites. Now Nicodemus knew that Moses was told by God to make a serpent and put it on a pole which he held up so anyone in the camp of Israel could see. There were snakes biting people and they were dying. God said that if anyone bit would look at the serpent Moses held up, they would not die. Jesus then said that the Son of man would also have to be lifted up. Nicodemus was being told by Jesus that Jesus would be crucified and that those people who would look at him and believe that he died for them, would be saved from eternal death. Nicodemus still didn't get it yet, but, after Jesus died, these words would have a different meaning to Nicodemus and I think he became a believer and was saved. In chapter 19 he helps another believer take the body of Jesus to a tomb and dresses the body with linen and spices to protect and preserve it. I think it was after Jesus rose from the dead that the understanding of who Jesus was and what he did was clear to those who listened to him and loved him. He died that they/we might have life. He paid for our sins on the cross and rose again from the dead to demonstrate that God the father accepted his death as payment for sin. We are all bitten by sin and should die, but if we see Jesus lifted up for us, we can live.
this is my first time on a bible website and i would like to say that i enjoyed reading and learning abot God's word. im at school and i get in trouble alot for having my bible out, if anyone has any suggestions from here please email or respond to me. thanks!
Hunh........... I guess Eph 2:8-9 must have been a type O then.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ones works are insufficient: Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as FILTHY RAGS; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Romans 3:10
As it is written, THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, no, not one:
Good works are a manifestation of a born again spirit to be sure. But they did not save anyone. That would mean that Christ's death alone on the cross was not sufficient.
2 Corinthians 3:5
Not that we are SUFFICIENT of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;
2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is SUFFICIENT for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
One cannot earn God's favor (Grace) it is freely given. We only need to believe.
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be JUSTIFIED in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:24
Being JUSTIFIED freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 4:2
For if Abraham were JUSTIFIED by works, he hath [whereof] to glory; but not before God.
Romans 5:1
Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom he JUSTIFIED, them he also glorified.
1 Corinthians 4:4
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby JUSTIFIED: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are JUSTIFIED in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not JUSTIFIED by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be JUSTIFIED.
Galatians 2:17
But if, while we seek to be JUSTIFIED by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
Galatians 3:11
But that no man is JUSTIFIED by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Galatians 3:24
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by faith.
Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are JUSTIFIED by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Titus 3:7
That being JUSTIFIED by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
When verses in scripture seem to contradict each other you must do three things.
1. Find out what the rest of scripture tell us about the subject. *scripture interprets scripture*
2. Know the meaning in the original language as some does not translate well from its original. (1 John 3:6 and 3:9 are perfect examples) its says one born again is sinless; we know that not to be true it is impossible. A better translation would be to say; anyone born again will not continue in their sinful life style.)
3. Look at the historical context in which the subject was being written about.
Conclusion: Man has no part in his salvation, it is truly a gift to them that believe.
all through out the Bible God has given us plenty of chances to see what is coming and to prepare.
not just in Revelations. John 3:3 I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again(of the Holy spirit) John 3:5 no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is Born of water( babtized) and the Spirit John 3:15 so that everyone who beleives in him may have enernal life.
Read your Bible all is there for thoes who seek the truth. Gods word is all you need to relize that without Jesus you are setting yourself up for the wrath of God, throught out the Bible people have done things that have not pleased him you can still turn your life around and seek his salvation, before the time of Revelation's come.
Matthew teaches what God expects of us all, pay special attention to matthew 7:7 and 7:13 and 7:21. stay in his word morning and night. worpship the Lord your god and serve only Him.
God loved us enough that he gave his Only son that we may have ever lasting life . And not spend all eternity in the depths of Hell . So we have to live right and lean on God for help and ask him for forgiveness when we do wrong . Sin is our nature we are gonna sin no matter how hard we try not to , Although we can ask God to help us and forgive us of our sin we never can be Perfect like Him ! I love God so much , Ive came a long way . I used to not care , And i've tried to Commit Suicide many of times , God loved me enough that he didnt want me to die , And i thank him so much for that beucase if i was dead i would have never gotten to see my baby sister turn 5 or too see my baby cousin turn 1 . God Is Great , God Can Save , And He Will ! And One Day He Is Comming Back !
well first im gonna say why i belive in this scripture. Jesus died for our sins. i belive that john 3:16 is really true for me. So i read the bible every day so i know what happend back in the days and so i know how to belive in god the way i want.
I wish to comment on verse 2 of this chapter. "Behold God is my salvation" He removes deprivation, depravity, and He delivers. God outlined a plan for man to be reconciled to himself by manifesting himself in the flesh. John 1:1,14 Before this virgin birth of Christ, we were without any means of reaching God or being reconciled. We were destitute on a spiritual island called self. He saw our condition and reached for us. Romans5:6-8 Sin had deprived us of any contact or fellowship with God. He removed the deprivation and replaced it with an invitation. John 3:16; Romans 5:1; Romans 10:13
Having our deprivation removed, the writer goes to the next step in the life of the believer. "I will trust and not be afraid:"For the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song;" Depravity must be delt with on a daily basis until it fades to nothing. When we are saved, we are no longer deprived, but we need to get rid of anything that does not reflect Christ in our lives.Depraity must decrease and Christ must increase to the point that we are governed by the spirit and not by the flesh. There are trials that will come to beset us,but we can get through them and glorify God. I Corinthians 10:13Hebrews 12:1, IJohn5:5 We know that we can relax and trust in the God of our salvation because it is His strength that saves us and sanctifies us. We are more than conquerors thru Him . IJohn 5:4 Having strength supplied by the Lord Jehovah Himself in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we have reason to sing praises to Him. David said, His praise shall continually be on my lips. Victory is a great reason for singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Ephesians 5:19,20 Lastly we have His deliverance."He also is become my salvation" At the end of this life there is a surety for us, that God will guide us home. Psalm 48:14 He does not abandon us when we die He stays with us all the way home. It is comforting to know that we are cared for from birth to death and beyond in the family of God. When we complete our earthly walk, we begin our heavenly walk. The writer lets us know that God removes deprivation and saves for whosoever will come to Him. He empowers us with the Holy Spirit to guide us thru this life, and He guides us in death. Removal of deprivation, rids us of depravity, shrouds us with deliverance. What great reasons to sing praise to the God of our salvation. Psalm 50:23
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Thank God for His word for word translation the
A.K.J.V. God's HOLY BIBLE.
Colossians 1:23 If ye CONTINUE IN the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Those who sew by the flesh shall reap fleshly desires, for me John 3:16 says all
Are you going to judge God and say his plan is unfair? You would probably do better to say you just don't understand. 1Peter1:20 tells us that Christ was ordained before the foundation of the world for the saving of sinners, before there was sin. "He who knew no sin was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." God's love is sacrificial, for you.
Not that we are SUFFICIENT of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;
Conclusion: Man has no part in his salvation, it is truly a gift to them that believe.
not just in Revelations. John 3:3 I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again(of the Holy spirit)
John 3:5 no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is Born of water( babtized) and the Spirit
John 3:15 so that everyone who beleives in him may have enernal life.
I Corinthians 10:13 Hebrews 12:1, IJohn5:5 We know that we can relax and trust in the God of our salvation because it is His strength that saves us and sanctifies us. Psalm 50:23
