Yes, Jesus is deserving of praise. You do well to praise Him and realize that He is all you need. I agree that He died for all. There are many places in scripture that show that Christ shed His blood for all and that salvation is offered to all who will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You quoted Part of John 3:16, but here are a few other verses that agree with what you are saying: 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 John 4:14, 1 John 2:2, John 1:29, John 4:42, Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:10, Hebrews 9:26, Hebrews 9:12.

So you are correct in saying that Jesus suffered and died for all, but unfortunately not all will receive Him. From what you are saying, I can assume that you've received Christ. Continue to praise Him and always keep Him first in your heart and life. God bless!

Fear can rob you of peace, but love overcomes fear. 1 John 4:18, John 16:33. So, perhaps a better solution to finding peace instead of worrying about it is to practice loving Jesus, loving others, and loving yourself, then trusting God with bringing peace to your heart. Love can be expressed through a variety of ways and actions. Being a blessing to others can bring joy to your life. Philippians 4:7-13. I think by expressing love you will find peace in your heart. 1 Corinthians 10:3, John 6:27, John 6:51, 1 Peter 2:2, Hebrews 5:12-14 are just a few of many places. In John 4:32, after Jesus' disciples brought Him physical food, Jesus said "I have meat to eat that ye know not of."

I don't know if you have ever experienced this before, but Christians have somewhat many times, where you are physically hungry, and you are physically tired, but then in some way, shape, or form, God ministers through you to someone else, or from someone else to you, and whatever physical hunger you have or physical thirst you have, it doesn't make any difference. That physical hunger or physical thirst somehow just disappears!

The spiritual food is contentment in and of itself. You are not as hungry as you used to be or as starved as you used to be. Now what is interesting in John Chapter 4 is that the woman left her waterpot behind. Jesus said you just brought physical food from the city, but I have food to eat that you know not of. He ministered God's word to this woman.

The way to comprehend and believe all this is to believe that God can do anything because He is the Almighty God, the Creator who created all things, and the only one who has the power to do anything. Don't try to answer these questions or figure this out from a carnal or human standpoint because everything about God is spiritual. That is why Jesus said in John 4:24, "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." God can be fully man, as Jesus, and fully God, as the Superior Being and Almighty One because He is God. Please read what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 -14, that is if you believe the Bible. Jesus came to this world to bring us back to God and to introduce us to the ways of God. He also came to put us back in right standing with God, and it is our faith in Him (Jesus Christ) and what He has done for us that God will receive. I am so glad that I have given my life to Jesus Christ, and I know that the Father hath received me and given me eternal live because of my faith in His Son. I pray that you have or will do the same. The Father and Jesus are one, and while Jesus was here on earth, He pointed us to the Father because His mission was to do the will of the Father and to help everyone to understand that the Father is the author of it all, and that He has given us His name which is Jesus and it the name that is above every name in this world and also the world to come. So stop trying to figure it out with your natural mind and place your trust in Jesus Christ ( Romans 10: 9-13), and God by the power of His Holy Spirit will give you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in how to trust Him and His plan for your life as well as all those who would dare to trust and receive Him. I believe that the God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and He has proven His Himself to us in all three categories because He has the power to do it all. Following on my 1st response, Joshua. The JW also point out that Christ is a "a Son", John 3:16, 1 John 4:10. They see Him as a created being Hebrews 2:17. But they miss the point. Philippians 2:9 says Jesus was exalted, elevated to a higher position, promoted. But do these all miss the meaning of what is said? Is there a difference between Jesus the Son of Man, and Christ the Eternal Preexisting God, Creator of all things, Colossians 1:16.

Yes, I also get a sense that we are getting close to the end. And I agree that we are to stand against the wiles of the devil. But I don't think we need to fight Satan. He's already been defeated. Jesus defeated him in the wilderness when Satan tried to tempt Him, and He ultimately defeated him at the cross. You describe the armor of God as being powerful, and I completely agree with you on that. If we have put this armor on, how can Satan possibly defeat us? In order for him to defeat us, he would have to defeat Christ.

Putting on the whole armor of God means we put on Christ. He is our armor. That armor never comes off. He lives in us. All we have to do is stand, not fight. We don't have to fight Satan to keep our salvation. Satan cannot take our salvation from us. In order for him to do that, he would have to penetrate God's Spirit that dwells in us, and he can't do that. There is no need to fight him. He can touch our flesh, but he can't touch our spirit where Christ dwells. John 4:4 says greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world. There's no need to fight. Stand, don't fight!

John, supported the same understanding in 1 John 3:24, and 1 John 4:13. Salvation happens only when God's Spirit enters and remains in a person's spirit, thereby causing spiritual birth. Nothing in the Bible teaches that salvation is accomplished by the repetition of the Sinner's Prayer or through the performance of any other kind of human formula.

Hello, I personally don't think it's necessarily a sin, but think panic is a type of fear and fear is the opposite of love and trust in God. So, you could say it shows a lack of love and lack of trust in God, perhaps that of a Christian who is currently immature in their walk with Christ. 1 John 4:18. The Bible has lots of wisdom on fear, peace, trust, hope and someone looking to mature in peace and love should be reading those as practice to become spiritually strong.

The fact that you're becoming fixated on an object and it's causing you distress I believe indicates a need to simply give it up. Our Lord is not found in objects - this is really idolatry. And you are right in seeing it that way. You're not catholic, and catholicity is involved in worshipping relics, objects, statues - all to do with death or things not having life! Our God is the one true, living God - not found in statues or objects, but as the evidence of 'things NOT seen'. Heb. 11:1. We are to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:24 God bless!

1 John 4:4 begins with the testing of the spirits, as there are many that are in the world. The Spirit of God indwells every true born again believer, but other spirits can still have sway in believers' minds and lives. The apostle John here is both warning and encouraging his readers that God's Spirit in them will always lead them into Light and Truth, which is what Christ's servants, the apostles, were endeavouring to do. Yet there were many other voices trying to persuade and lead believers away from the Truth to believe lies as Truth; this, says John, are false spirits: the spirit of Anti-Christ. And don't we see so much of it today: sin clothed in the garb of goodness.
