Winston 's John Chapter 5 comment I suppose you are referring mostly to the verses 17 onward of this chapter, which made you go back to see the creation of the world. In Genesis 1 says 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3And God said Let there be light and there was light. The verb SAID is the Word which came out of the mouth of God in Greek it is LOGOS which means Word If you read again the first three verses carefully, you will notice that God, the Spirit and the Word were there from the beginning working harmoniously together as ONE. Also notice what it says in verse 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. It says LET US make....which proves that the Word, that is Jesus was there from the beginning with the Father GOD See also John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made that was made. So, There was one Creation from the beginning from GOD and Jesus , who is the Word as John says too.

I look at this verse and look back at the creation of the world. Jesus the word made the universe, does this also mean that God the Father has made a universe also. The word does what he sees the Father do.

I believe that the whole conclusion of chapter 5 is to believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we shall be save.. if we believe on Him, we are going to do exactly what He says, if we fall short we all do that 's when we go to our High Priest which is Christ Jesus and confess our sins and ask Him for mercy and forgiveness. If Yahshua died for our sins he did not leave any out...we live in the dispensation of Grace...we walk in our Love and keep the laws as best we can...we only need to believe!!!!

This verse implies two things 1. Coming in Father 's name literally e.g. The son of a Mr. Winston will definitely be John Winston! Despite uncountable miracles,teachings, healing, deliverance,etc Jesus performed,some people did not believe in Him, even people in His home town.When He was teaching, some did not believe that He was sent by God despite the repetitions He that sent me . So, whosoever that believes in His teaching and put all what he taught and heard about Him into practice and convinced personally that He was sent by God such person will have everlasting life, shall not be condemned he will pass from death to life.

Thank God we have been moved from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Jesus did the work and we believe and receive him into our lives and now we have everlasting life.

Jesus is the truth and light and whoever look onto him finds Forgiveness. It does not mean you don 't sin when Jesus said sin no more. John5 28, Jesus has the power to raise the dead of all ages. Therefore healing of infirmities of all kinds is a mere thing to him and no one should marvel at it. The hearing of His voice by those in the grave means life for the dead,especially those that are asleep in Him, which will no doubt manifest at his second coming, the rapture experience.

Verse 7 i take a valuable lesson from this How many times in our lives have we seen someone that needed help getting in the water lost or back sliders and we just walk right past them With good intentions we focus too much of our time on ourselves and dont look around at a lost and dieing world thats going to hell Lord help me to see others that are in need

Please i m some how confused about these verses John 5 28 and Hebrews 9 27 Please i need to know

How sad it is that the God of Creation came to this earth wrapped in flesh to bring salvation to His people yet they fault him for healing a man on the sabbath when it is suppose to be a day of praise to God How this must have hurt him
