Mark 8:37
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Matthew 13:16
Then Peter said into them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:38
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Matthew 3:17
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
Genesis 17:11
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:17
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Colossians 2:11-12
Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Romans 6:3
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the likeness of his resurrection:
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Romans 6:4-8

Man makes CHOICES thousands or time a day; but those CHOICES have a CAUSE:
Philippians 2:13 For it is God that worketh in you TO WILL and TO DO ....
They is never an effect without there first being a CAUSE.
God is sovereign and the CAUSE of everything.
Romans 2:4 Man repents be CAUSE of the goodness of God
Philippians 1:29 You BELIEVE be CAUSE Christ CAUSES you to believe.
Galatians 1:20 You have faith be CAUSE Christ GIVES you HIS faith.
John 6:44 No one comes to Christ with a CAUSE, the Father draws that person to Christ.
God CAUSES and DOES everything, man is the benefactor of CAUSES of GOD.
Colossians 1:17 ...and by him all thing consist.... even you CHOICES.
John 15:5 ...you can of yourself DO NOTHING...
But ACTS 2:21 I believe says anyone who professes that I am Lord will be saved.
Not saying the Bible is a lie. But slightly confused by these two. One says anyone who says Me is saved. Then other says Only Lord calls His children.
Help?
I would like to share a couple of things with you. You mention getting saved so I have to assume that you have surrendered your life to Christ and been born of His Spirit. If so, you belong to Him. Just as Paul professed himself to be a slave to Jesus Christ, we also are a slaves to Christ if indeed we belong to Him.
The section you mention in Hebrews Chapter 10 is not talking about a saved person losing their salvation. Those who don't believe in the eternal security of the believer will use Hebrews 10:26 to show that a person can lose their salvation. That's not what it's talking about. It's talking about those Jews who were following along with the teachings, "receiving the knowledge of the truth," but instead of surrendering their lives to Christ, they were turning away and going back into Judaism.
Those Jews had a very tough decision to make, either denounce Judaism and surrender to Christ, or turn back because it would be much easier for them to do so. If they received Christ as their Savior, their family would disown them, they would lose their jobs, and they would be kicked out of their own temple. That was their dilemma.
So Hebrews 10:26 is speaking of those Jews who were considering turning back. So the writer is basically telling them that Jesus Christ is the final sacrifice for your sin. If you want to turn away from this gospel message and go back into your system of Judaism, your system of sacrificing for sin, there remains no other sacrifice.
As far as where you stand, only you know where you stand with Christ. Only you know if you've fully surrendered your life to Him. If you have, your salvation is firm and complete in Christ Jesus. He is the final sacrifice for your sin. He purchased you with His precious blood. It is by His power alone that you are being kept until the day He comes to redeem His purchased possession (You and I). My friend, you have to trust in His promise ( Romans 10:13, John 6:39, 1 Peter 3:5).
His powerful, yet succinct Words to us are, "to be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" ( Matthew 10:16), for indeed, we as Christ's Church are in the "midst of wolves", & we are not to be ignorant of the evil one's devices in urging those wolves on & upon us. Yet, when under attack, & they come from a myriad of sources, our response needs to be one as was written of our High Priest: "One who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens" ( Hebrews 7:26). As even the apostle urged us, to "be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world" ( Philippians 2:15).
Our light can only truly shine when Christ's Light shines through us. If there's only a flicker, the world will never be moved, they remain in darkness & our flicker of light might even be extinguished. As the world sees us in full submission desiring only that the Lord's Name be lifted up, they might also see how Jesus submitted to His Father's Will going the full distance to the Cross for them. That joy & peace that was the Lord's continual possession even to enduring the Cross, must be our portion as well, even in manifold trials & exercises of faith - and thus we can always follow peace with all men. Every blessing brother.
However, Philippians 2:5-8 gives us vital information: "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." The key word here (for the purposes of your question), is "reputation". In the original Greek, this word is "ekenosen" (from the word, kenosis), which means 'to empty'. So, if Jesus made "Himself of no reputation", the meaning is that 'He emptied Himself' of what He had in His Deity, for the sake of becoming a man, indeed, one of 'servitude' to both God & man, so as to die on a Cross.
We know that Jesus continued to have Divine Powers (of healing, raising the dead, knowing the thoughts of others, etc.), but there were also certain limitations that He placed on Himself while He was in the flesh on Earth and to be in subjection to His Father (by virtue of His Humanity). The one you quoted is a good example, as also Mark 5:25-32; Luke 4:1 (led of the Spirit). We can then understand that Jesus' coming was also to reveal the Glory of God ( John 1:18) & that to do so, His Own Glory had to be veiled. Therefore, we cannot know why Jesus didn't know the time of His second coming to Earth, except to understand that in His Humanity this knowledge was kept aside - but in Heaven now, He has all His Divine Attributes restored.
Yes I believe that scripture but I believe we have a difference in interpretation.
I thought we covered it already, however I will elaborate further.
My Quote:
you've posted 2 scriptures, I will deal with Revelation 22:12-14. first.
HERE IS THE WORK.
John 6:28-29. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, ( This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.)
When that's done then this happens. Philippians 1:6. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
And this. Philippians 2:13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Furthering on.
In Revelation 22:14-15. we have 2 groups here. Verse 14 THOSE SAVED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW, ( CHRIST BEING A CURSE for us.)
Verse 15 by its description of the group is those who NEVER Received Christ and washed by the blood. You and I was apart of that group also. Christ plus the Law didn't save us, It was Christ alone.
The 10 Commandments wasn't given to us to keep or "Try" to keep for salvation, It was given to Israel while God carried them on eagles wings to show the world it was in need of a savior. The law couldn't change the inner Man. Only the outer parts of the vessel. Here's a n example.
Mathew 23:25-26.
Burnt works, Still saved.
1 Corinthians 3:11-15.For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, HE SHALL SUFFER LOSS: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; YET SO AS BY FIRE.
G.B.
A few further comments on your specific scripture that you presented.
I originally quoted: Revelation 22:12-14. Your answer is: John 6:28-29. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, ( This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.)
I will agree with you " that we must believe on him whom he hath sent - Jesus." I believe this scripture! So, if we are to believe in Jesus we should also believe what he is telling us numerous times throughout the bible that we must produce good work and good fruit, and we will ultimately be judged accordingly as in:
Revelation 22:12
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Do you believe this scripture?
On to your other scripture: Philippians 1:6. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: And this. Philippians 2:13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
I believe and agree with the scripture that you quoted in Philippians! God will work within the faithful believer to help to bring about good work/and produce good fruit.
But in the end it is up to the believer who still has "free will" to work toward their salvation by being faithful to Jesus and God's Commandments and by producing the good work that is required throughout scripture.
God Bless.
When that's done then this happens. Philippians 1:6. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: And this. Philippians 2:13. For it is God which worketh
quoting you: "Yes, we need to commit as Christians to walk with Christ and are instructed to in many various scripture throughout the bible." WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT?
The portion you pulled out of my comment was the first sentence of part 2. You should have considered the 1st sentence of part 1 as well then we would be keeping the discussion in a direct orderly fashion.
Here is the opening sentence of part 1. Is our atonement forever or once Christ freed us it's up to us to Atone for ourselves? Here is part 2. Some would argue once Christ saved us it's up to us to remain saved. My question to that group is can you do that and How? The emphasis here is if Christ offered the perfect sacrifice "ONCE" and for all to atone for our sins, If one believes the atonement isn't once and for all and sins again "which we all do"
How do he re-atone himself when there is no more sacrifice? Can he offer Good works when works of the law could never cleans you. Brother Dan I posted a lot of Scripture that you seem to bypass, If those scriptures doesn't mean what I seem to believe why don't you start off with each one of them and tell us what they do mean.
you've posted 2 scriptures, I will deal with Revelation 22:12-14.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: And this. Philippians 2:13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
NOW 1 JOHN 2:3-6. This is not the 10 commandments, If so consider Galatians 5:3-4. and if you are under the law you'll need the temple built to do vain sacrifices that could never save.
God bless.
If you consider 1 Peter 1:2, "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ", we can clearly see that the Elect (i.e. God's chosen) are in that blessed position because God has selected some according to His Foreknowledge. In other words, all whom God has foreordained to be His elect, will be saved. Now this is in God's department, so to speak, & not ours.
We cannot concern ourselves with what God knows, as sinful man must be in a position to hear the Gospel, be convicted of sin, & respond. So, the one who does hear & believe, can be assumed to be part of the "elect according to God's Foreknowledge". That is, God knows beforehand who will respond to the call. Those who reject the Gospel are outside of grace & can never be saved. Our "choice in the matter" is still a conscious decision we make, but made in concert with the Holy Spirit's working. Without the Gospel & without the Holy Spirit = no salvation. Many try to come another way; they're imposters.
In hyper-calvinism, God's election is taken to an extreme; where it even becomes unnecessary to share the Gospel, as God's choosing requires no response from man. Does that Church evangelize? If it does, then it's clear that they expect the sorrowful sinner to repent, believe, & be saved. The sinner's 'choice' is already in God's Plan to save him. We could ask the opposite question: can a sorrowful sinner be rejected by God because he is not foreordained to be saved? John 6:37, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." There's God's Promise of election & receiving a penitent sinner.
I would like to add to the truth of what Sacha has shared and take it from verse 10.
Isaiah 55:10-13. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that ( it may give SEED to the sower, and BREAD TO THE EATER:)
SO SHALL MY WORD BE THAT GOETH FORTH OUT OF MY MOUTH: IT SHALL NOT RETURN UNTO ME VOID, BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH I PLEASE, AND IT SHALL PROSPER IN THE THING WHERETO I SENT IT.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
INSTEAD OF THE THORN SHALL COME UP THE FIR TREE, and INSTEAD OF THE BRIER SHALL COME UP THE MYRTLE TREE: and it shall be to the LORD for a name,( FOR AN EVERLASTING SIGN THAT SHALL NOT BE CUT OFF. )
Here you have an prominence on the word of God, Salvation is a revelation of God and the word of God is like rain that comes down from heaven, We should bud in response to the word and the Holyspirit in the same way the Earth responds to rain.
God's WORD WILL PROSPER AND ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH HE PLEASE!
Providing his word TRULY abides in us.
Remember the parable of the sower?
We also see the concept here in
1 Corinthians 3:6. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
The bread reminds me of Jesus saying I am that bread which came down from heaven.
John 6:33. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
These passages is also why I believe Romans 6 references fruit barring rather than lost Salvation.
Hebrews 6:7-8 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Wonderful passage.
God bless.
Luke.22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
John.5:30-32 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.
John 6:38-40 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John.14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
1Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1 Corinthians 15:25-28 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
May this help, pray and study and let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
I'm so glad that JESUS never acted a lie or tried to deceive, he said not MY will but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:63 ....the words that I speak unto you, THEY ARE SPIRIT
1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto to you SPIRITUAL, but as unto CARNAL ....
Galatians 3:28 ....there is neither male or female, for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 5:32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the CHURCH.
Christ is the husband, we are the WOMAN (spiritually speaking), we are the Church (spiritually speaking). We are to KEEP SILENT before our husband and to keep SILENT in the CHURCH.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you (the woman) have received of him (your husband) abideth in you (the woman), and you (the woman) need not that any man teach you (the woman): but as the same anointing (your husband) teacheth you (the woman) all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it (your husband) hath taught you (the woman), ye (the woman) shall abide in him (your husband) (and you shall become one flesh).
1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam (Christ, spiritually speaking) was not deceived, but the WOMAN (the CHURCH, spiritually speaking) bring deceived was in the transgression.
1 Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she (the woman, the church) shall be saved in childbearing ....
Revelation 12:2 And she (the woman, the church) being with CHILD cried, travailing in birth, and pained to BE DELIVERED.
Your original question had to do with the unpardonable sin. The bible teaches that the only sin that is unpardonable (cannot be forgiven) is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The word blasphemy means to reject. In order for a person to be saved, they must receive Christ. They must be born of His Spirit. A person must come to Jesus and surrender their life to Him.
But Jesus said in John 6:44 that no one can come to Him unless the Father first draws them to Him. So God sends His Spirit to a person to convict them of their sin and their need of a Savior, the Savior being Jesus Christ. But if a person rejects the testimony of God's Spirit (Holy Spirit), that person cannot be saved, nor forgiven for that rejection. That is the unpardonable sin, rejecting the testimony of God's Spirit.
Now to answer your other question. I would guess that most of us have heard the expression "Holy Blank" used before. But how often do we hear this come from the mouth of a person who is a true believer and is being led by God's Spirit which lives in them? I would like to think it would be rare. For the believer, we are told in Ephesians 4:29 to let no corrupt communication come out of our mouths.
Now, even though the bible teaches us how to conduct ourselves (even in speech), if a believer were to slip up and let that phrase come out, that would not be considered blasphemy, definitely not the unpardonable sin because the believer has already been sanctified in Christ Jesus and did not reject His Spirit, but received Christ. However, it does nothing for the building up (edification) of the body of Christ. For the non-believer, they probably could care less!
John 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing, THE WORDS (Christ is the WORD) that I speak unto you, they (the words, Christ) are SPIRIT, and they (the words, Christ) are LIFE.
...the fearful...unbelieving...murderers (if you hate your brother, you are a murderer ( 1 John 3:15)....
Shall have their part in the lake of fire (THE WORDS ARE CHRIST)
Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire (THE WORDS ARE CHRIST)
Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery.... CHRIST IN YOU....(living lake of fire) you are IN IT NOW.
Isaiah 10:16 ...and under his glory (you are the glory of God) he shall kindle a BURNING like the burning of a FIRE (THE WORDS ARE CHRIST).
Everyone is going to be judged in the WORDS ( in Christ, in the Fire (lake of)
The fire burns the trash and purifies you.
The fire is GOOD and necessary.
The fearful no longer fear, the unbelieving, BELIEVE, you love you enemies.
Don't call GOOD (the lake of fire), EVIL.
This by the Bible can not be confirmed, Daniel told when the Messiah would come Daniel 9:25, 483/476.4 years from the going forth to rebuild Jerusalem and the walls. They went forth around 446 BC minus 476.4 360-day years=29 AD. If you take in Luke 3 it was the 15 th year of Tiberius Caesar who came to be emperor 14 AD, which also puts it in 29 AD. Also, Pontius Pilate ruled from 26-36 A.D. The start of John the Baptist ministry.
Jesus went to 3 Passovers John 2:13, John 5:1, John 6:4 The fourth Passover He was crucified, John19:14. That would put 1080 days from the first Passover Jesus after he was baptized by John the Baptist. This leaves 180 days so, this would put the baptizing of Jesus in the month of Tehri, September- October our months. 40 days of temptation and then choosing the twelve will put them before the wedding in Cana of Galilee and the first Passover Jesus went after He was baptized by John the Baptist.
Jesus gave up the ghost at 3 PM the ninth hour on 14 th day of Nisan the 5 th day of the week. Jesus' ministry was 42 months or 1260 days. God placed Jesus at the exact day and month of the year the first Passover was done in Egypt. Jesus went into Jerusalem on the 10 th of Nisan the day the lambs were taken up and held until Passover.
Jesus was placed on the cross at 9 AM the same time the first Tamid lamb was sacrificed and put on the altar. All during that day, all the people's sin offerings were placed on the altar. Jesus gave up the ghost at 3 PM the same time the last Tamid lamb was placed on top of all the sin offerings for that day on the altar. The First and Last. Also, the time the priest started catching the blood of people's Passover lambs and pouring it on the altar.
If God caused just the things I listed to be done at the exact time. If God wanted these dates to match to the exact second, it would have been so. May you have a purpose for your question. All is possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

2) The son of man reference confuses me somewhat
3) Why did He(Jesus) use My Flesh and my Blood
i ponder on theses questions a lot
Greetings in Christ JESUS,
Chris, you brought a biblical deep matter, it is not easy for us to speak about "Satan as an angel"in the mysterious times in the Garden of Eden and with the presence of Adam and Eve or the man and the woman,by the way, there was an Eternity in Eden before this current gap of 7 thousand years or 7 millenniums of this current world of Devil, in part already fulfilled, whose world the crafty Satan,or artful Devil, offered to JESUS in the temptation- Luke 4:v.5 to 8.Check it.
What you said is very very interesting, mainly about "war between Jesus and Satan for the glory?". When JESUS was tempted, the Devil knew that JESUS was the heir of GOD, Satan knew that HIS CURRENT DEVIL'S WORLD would be conquer by JESUS and His army or His people- Revelation 11:v.15 to 18 and chapter 12. In fact, Satan tryed to anticipate and deliver his kingdom to JESUS under his satanic condition, but JESUS rejected the Devil's offer, because JESUS had a strategy in His War against Satan. What did JESUS do?
He called the Devil to be near Him as one of the 12 apostles through the person of Jude Scariots. JESUS needed a betrayer among the 12 apostles. JESUS was and is Omniscient, JESUS knew that Judas was a devil, a demon- John 6:v.70- and JESUS ordened to give the bag of money to Jude-the demon-, he was a thief and did steal the money that was in the bag.
From this point ahead, all know what happened in the life of JESUS having Satan at his side, and to defeat him on the cross. God has his ways in this War against Satan, now remains the battle against the three unclean spirits like frogs that come out of the MOUTH of a satanic trinity in this current time, even from now on: Revelation 16:v.13 to 16.
Be careful and get ready because there will be a great spiritual battle day after day, from now on or in days to come.
It appears your primary source from which you hinge your theory is Jude 1:6-7. I encourage you to search 'What is the strange flesh in Jude 1:7?' on GotQuestions website. They did a thorough breakdown of this which I agree with.
I think the strange flesh in verse 7 is the unnatural homosexual behavior that took place within Sodom and Gomorrah, not relations with angels. Of course there was a visit from 2 angels there that the men wanted to have relations with, but they didn't know they were angels. Genesis 6:2-4. HEBREWS 13:2.
Secondly, the example of Jude 1:4-7 points out that God will punish those who disobey and deviate from God's plan for them.
Third, yes, the Bible has metaphors. Example: John 6:56. Eat flesh and drink blood. Have you literally given into cannibalism and eaten Jesus? And is that what it means? No, it's a metaphor. The bread symbolized it. Isaiah 64:8 - are you literally clay? Ezekiel 34:31 - are we a flock of sheep? Here's a simile: Matthew 10:16. 'as' sheep, 'as' serpents, 'as' wolves, which explains it's symbolic. So, when Jesus or God called humans satan were they actually satan or acting like satan? Jesus called Peter satan: Matthew 4:1. So, does that mean Peter was acting like satan or WAS satan? If he literally was satan why then did Jesus forgive him? Peter said he loved Jesus 3 times. Does satan love Jesus?
The other 2 verses you posted seem to serve confirmation bias for your theory, as they are general and are only used to reinforce the original misinterpretation.
God bless...
