The true gospel is transparent to nationality or economic status or political standing. It has nothing to do with economic prosperity or with socio-political issues. When the churches become involved in political activism or social or economic issues, they forget that the task of the believers is to be an ambassador of the kingdom of God. When Jesus was placed on trial for his life at the behest of the chief priests, Jesus said to Pontius Pilate ( John 18:36)
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Concerning political rulers, the Bible commands in Romans 13
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
The true gospel has been emasculated in our day as the churches have become more involved with the social and physical and political issues of the day, which in themselves have nothing to do with the true gospel. Sure, Jesus fed the 5,000 who had come to hear him, but that was not his primary mission, and later we read in John 6:15
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
What is the commandment of God now in the new testament? Not the ten commandments the law of Moses. It is now in Christ Jesus as God turned the show over to his Son Jesus Christ. The law of spirit of life.
Matthew 17:5] While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Matthew 28:18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
2nd Cor 1:19] For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
[20] For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Jesus now owns the show. What Paul is talking about in 1st Cor 7:19 circumcision or uncircumcision means nothing any more in the new testament, we are now circumcised in heart and no longer an outward appearence. You are still trying to preach a Jesus that is born of Mary as if he is still here. My Jrsus we know more after the flesh as it is not an outward appearance but an inward one. Your glorifying in appearance and not in the heart
2nd Cor 5:12] For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
Circumcision or uncircumcision don't matter in the new testament we are one in Christ.
Col 3:[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
[11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
The Commandments of Jesus = his words of spirit and life John 6:63. Get out of the old and into the new as old things has passed away and all things have become new.
The ten commandments were a school master to lead to to Jesus Christ. Now that faith has come and Jesus gave is new commandments, it is the righteousness obtained by the ten commandments that is of no avail. As they are now in us and no more an outward appearence.
Galations 3:24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
2nd Cor 3:3] Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Amen, the law of sin and death Moses' law, Jesus gave us new laws, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus which sets us free from the law of sin and death Romans 8:1-2. Jesus' words are spirit and life John 6:63. What are Jesus' laws Matthew the beatitudes and simultudes. Sin no more, be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect, be holy, love one another. 100% conditional commandments.
Romans 8:1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Hebrews 7:19] For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
1st John 2:3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
[4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Jeremiah 5:30-31 declares: "A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?"
1 Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
I know that I am a sinner, so what can I do to be saved? The answer is, there is nothing that I, being DEAD in trespasses and sins, can do to affect my salvation!
Ephesians 2:1 "And you hath he quickened [made alive], who were DEAD in trespasses and sins;"
John 6:29 "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
Galatians 2:16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST..."
Romans 9:15-16 "For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy."
So what about the churches that say, we will show you how to become saved, or, you must be baptized in water and partake of the Lord's supper? Virtually every church promotes a do-it-yourself salvation, which is not that of the Bible! The baptism that is required is the washing away of our sins, which only God can perform. When we meditate on the word of God with a view to being obedient to it, we are feeding on the flesh and drinking the blood of the Lord Jesus.
John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
Salvation is 100% the work of God. If we are trusting in any work that we do for Salvation, we are trusting in a FALSE GOSPEL that cannot save.

If the church as a whole took Jesus' words more seriously, our voice would be more respected in the world. When we neglect to address grievous sins in the church, we appear to take sin lightly. Skeptics can't respect our claim to honor the Bible as God's Word while we ignore those of our number who are overtly disobeying it.
GOD GIVES US HIS SPIRIT TO PERFORM WHAT WE CAN'T DO IN THE FLESH. AND THIS IS HOW WE KNOW HE IS IN US.
1 John 6:13.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
If I may add a few points to this subject, I know we have different understandings on this and I hope you will not be offended, these are questions I have asked myself. What does Scripture support, our soul is an immortal entity that consciously lives on after the death of the body or does it sleep in the grave until the resurrection? Is the definition of death a separation of the soul from the body or is it the end of life, a permanent cessation, and the grave is our home until we are resurrected?
John 3:15-16 Without the belief in Jesus we will perish the Greek word apollumi means destroy utterly, to put out of the way entirely, abolish as in Psalms 37:10Psalms 92:7Proverbs 10:28-29Job 20:4-7Malachi 4:1-32 Peter 2:12.
Matthew 10:28 we are to fear the one who can destroy the body and the soul in hell, the Greek word for destroy is apollumi same as perish, a permanent/absolute destruction. Hell, the Greek word is geenna the fire and smoke that goes up and burns forever that never goes out is a reference to the lake of fire. Job 17:13 the Hebrew word sheol is the same word translated as hell. Job 17:16 the word pit is the same Hebrew word.
Our first death is sleep, Psalms 13:3Daniel 12:2Acts 13:361 Cor. 15:51. If all souls are immortal which means they have eternal life, the question must be asked, what is the gift of eternal life we see in John 3:15John 6:54Romans 6:23Titus 1:21 John 2:25Jude 1:21? If our soul is immortal, why do we have to put immortality on as said in 1 Corinthians 15:51-58?
"Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;/ And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim."
Light is knowledge that darkness cannot understand. So we learn from this verse,"Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father."( John 6:65) God is a Spirit and the truth in the inwards of man is to be known by his spirit. It is like a candle so no man may say it is beyond him. No he fools himself to deny God's grace. He sent his word and it is heard which darkness dismisses it as nothing. For man to benefit from it needs the Son whom he sent. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."(2 Co.4:6). At the birth of Jesus circumstanced forced his father to settle down in Nazareth and now events forced the Son of man to leave for Galilee. It is thus as long as we are in the flesh, darkness shall conspire to change our circumstances but truth helps us learn of the holiness of God and what does it tell us? "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."(He.13:5) God let his Son be tempted of the devil but we read that, "And, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." It is thus with every child of God, "that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."(Ac.14:22) On our part we are called to continue in faith for his word of grace is sufficient to build up our lives in the sure foundation. "God knows who are his."
Life of Jesus was disrupted but helps the light of the knowledge of the glory of God spread 'Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.'(v.15)
Elijah was never sent to the cross and died for my sin. It was Jesus Christ the Son of God who paid it all for me and not Elijah. What you have is a very bad teaching. Elijah served as an example of a man of God, however, he did not send the Holy Ghost down nor did he give gifts unto mankind. What Elijiah did in the Old Testament was before the cross, we are after the cross in Christ and not in Elijiah. The bible does not teach, that Elijah was a double for people. Bring me the scripture? It does not exist. An antiChrist Gospel for sure and not out of the mouth of God, as there are no scriptures to back up what you are saying.
Jesus came and spoke words of spirit and life from what he heard from God his Father John 6:63. Jesus never spoke his own words, he received words from his Father in heaven. After the cross, Christ is in me by faith as it is Christ in me the hope of glory. I don't hope you make heaven, I posess that hope in Christ Jesus.
St. Paul was talking about the gifts of the spirit not about the spirit of Elijiah as Jesus sent the Holy Ghost and not the spirit of Elijiah to mankind.
John 14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The gifts of the spirit is the result/ evidence of the Holy Ghost and not Elijiah's spirit.
Ephesians 4:[8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Jesus showed who he was to the multitudes on hoping they will believe but they did not. He fed them, healed them and when he preached to them they ran away.
John 6:5When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
Jesus did not want to attract attention that is the last thing he needed to be an earthly king when he is already our heavenly king. This was all prophesied in Isaiah 8:16-17. If Jesus was made an earthly king, God would have lost his only Son.
Isaiah 8:16] Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
[17] And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
Let us significance of the house of bread from which he came on a divine Mandate. He came to fulfill the will of his Father. In multiplying loaves of bread as given in the gospel let us examine the leftovers. "And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full."(14:20) In John's Gospel, "When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost./ Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten." ( John 6:12-13) Number 12 signifies the Gospel of God. In fulfilling his Father's will the same Gospel is Gospel of Christ.
All four gospel records this 'miracle' and more significance in in the gathering of fragments that remained.
In the Gospel of Mark we read,"And they did all eat, and were filled./ And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes."( Mark 6:42-43) In Luke "And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets." ( Luke 9:17)
There are other instances in which 4x1000 has significance as the number Seven to mark the baskets. (Mark.8:8) (15:37-38)
According to principle of Similitude the symbol of bread in the House of God must match. The number 12 refers to the Gospel and 7 denotes fulfillment of the Will. In all these instances all those who partook were full.
Contrary to this we have an indictment against Israel. "Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword./.. that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people."( Micah 6:13-16) Bethlehem as a result has fallen into insignificance.
The Wiseman were around to give gifts for the new king of the Jews Jesus. It is not important for salvation of what happened or became of them. The Wiseman gave Jesus gold, frankincense and mirth. Gifts for a king.
Ecc 8:4] Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
John 6:63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Jesus words are spirit and life, John 6:63 that is some power. Today, in Christ Jesus we are kings, we are a royal priesthood we can decree things.
1st Peter 2:9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
[10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Rev 1:4] John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
[5] And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
[6] And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
That is some power as we are in Chrust kings and priests. The Wiseman were never spoken of again in the bible after Matthew 2.
Jesus became our Sabbath as he became our rest as we now rest in his words which are spirit and life John 6:63. The Jews could not keep the Sabbath day they always polluted it. The moment you get out of bed you pollute the Sabbath. On the Sabbath day, nobody was to get out of their bed, do cooking, or leave their house. Sabbath day keepers every week pollute and break the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed. Jesus became our Sabbath as prophesied by Isaiah. When you celebrate the Sabbath it is of no avail as Jesus our forerunner is now that rest. The Sabbath day was a day of rest, when you are resting, you are not sinning. Sabbath day keepers today pervert the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed.
Exodus 31:14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[15] Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Isaiah 56:2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isaiah 11:10] And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Matthew 11:28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 4:8] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
[9] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
[10] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Adam and Eve were the only two created in God's image after that man became a mom and dad creation as we have the power to create, to know good and evil, etc.
Isaiah 41:22] Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
[23] Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
After the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are to be the image of the Son of God for us to be in God's image once again.
Romans 8:29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
[30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
If I am conformed to the image of the Son of God I sure am not going to be conformed to the image of sin to the image of the devil as all sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8. No such verse as we sin because we are of God or Jesus. Mankind thinks we are all made in God's image. False!!! Only those who come to his Son Jesus Christ and his words of spirit and life in John 6:63 can mankind be conformed to the image of God. 100% conditional love all the way. A free gift, with conditions. We have to walk in the spirit of the words and not in the spirit of the world. The things which are seen are only temporal, however, the things not seen are eternal. The rich man in hell didn't see that coming in Luke 16. A rich and powerful person in his day and he could not spend a dime of it in hell.
Mark 1:15] And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
The apostle Paul knew what it was to follow after Jesus. Paul could not literally follow Jesus in the flesh as most churches are preaching in vain and teaching as if Jesus is still walking the face of the earth. The apostle Paul said this:
1st Cor 11:1] Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
This is not the only instance in the bible Paul said such a thing, there are other places.
1st Cor 4:16] Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
Philippians 3:17] Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
1st Thess 1:[6] And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
Amen, Jesus never preached to follow after him, he preached to follow after his words and not his person as his words are spirit and life John 6:63. We follow after Jesus' words as Jesus is no longer around to be followed in person.
2nd Cor 5:16] Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The apostle Paul knew that he could not follow Jesus in person but had to follow after that voice from heaven that gave him words to preach. The apostle Paul never met Jesus in person, he did hear his voice and seen a light and that was it. The apostle Paul knew he had to follow after new directives from the Holy Ghost. We see many people trying to find Jesus or try to follow him and it is in vain as Jesus is not around to be followed, he has to be in you, and that is from his words by faith as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Romans 10:17.
Repent, and believe the Gospel of Christ's words Romans 1:16-17.
John 9:31] Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Christianity all around the world believe for the most part God loves them and they are saved by grace and yet they still sin. This is not what the bible says at all in John 9:31. The blind man was kicked out of church for preaching the truth. This is something that was known and not some new doctrine or directive issued by the church council or church meetings that God does not hear the prayer of sinners. The ex-blind man who went to church all his life never read the book of the law as brail was not invented yet for people to read. Yet, he heard something from behind the pulpit that stood out in his mind, unlike any other verse or scripture. I believe Isaiah 59:1-2 was reinforced into his mind over and over again in order for the ex-blind man to come up with the truth.
Isaiah 59:1] Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
[2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
The ex-blind man was excommunicated from his church for preaching the truth. You go down and preach what the ex-blind man in John 9 preached and you will be out in the street. Churches don't want to hear God does not hear the prayers of sinners. Churches want to indulge in their riot with their ungodly events and way of living for the devil up to their neck in sin and unrighteousness. To get churches to go back to the old ways of revival like Jeremiah 6:16 will never happen, as they have tasted too much of the world and the devil's delights and are not interested in engaging with the words of Jesus Christ which are spirit and life John 6:63. All sin is of the devil 1st John 3:8. Tge wages or payment is called hellfire and brimstone Romans 6:23. I am an ex-sinner saved by grace, an ex-sinner is a righteous person Romans 6:18.
One of the most discussed topics in Christendom is the idea of eternal salvation. Many noted Christian leaders in our day support the notion of eternal salvation that is not derived from scripture. God doesn't have a number of spiritual states one can be in and still serve Him. Some do try and 'straddle the fence', so to speak. Jesus plainly states in Revelation 3:15-16 that anyone considering themselves Christians and not do those things Christ commanded, have no part in His inheritance or kingdom. I note that in that same chapter of Revelation, He states in His message to the Sardis church of believers (mind you) that they who overcome, meaning obeying Him despite obstacles, sufferings or inconveniences, He will not blot their name out of the book of life. When an individual comes to Christ, that doesn't negate his or her ability to choose whether to continue in His service. Your free moral agency or freedom to choose is still there. Don't think so, consider King Saul. In 1 Samuel 10:9-11, God gives Saul a new heart and His spirit is given to him. Then in chapter 16 and verse 14, we read that God took His spirit away from Saul or departed from him. Why? DISOBEDIENCE, plain and simple. The apostle Paul had the same problem when Demas departed from him ( 2 Tim. 4:10) because of his love of this present world. Christ had a number of followers who departed from Him and followed Him no more ( John 6:66). Jesus cannot be anyone's Savior unless He's their Lord also.
The Word became flesh which underpins the generation of Jesus Christ is as distinct as Jesus Christ is from Jesus of Nazareth. The word of God Person specific so the Son is "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever." (He.13:8) God sent the word and healed them, the Psalm quote we find from his life. So his 'miracles' are fulfillment of the will of his Father. Word of God called and Joseph heard and served as a father to Jesus. Faith made Abraham relate to him as David.
"And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven./But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."(Matt.8:11-12)Significant is the context for this quote is the great faith which was demonstrated by a Roman centurion. Where the nation of Israel could not, he showed the truth inward parts carried the call. God fashioned all hearts alike and he tries their hearts. the Gentiles and Jews alike. It is thus we address the generation of Jesus Christ in terms of faith and it connects with the blessings on whosoever believes in him who he sent. This is the work of God.( John 6:28-29)
Jesus called Matthew or Levi and he readily followed. Modestly he refrains making mention of the feast that followed while St Luke tells us, "And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them." ( Luke 5:29)
But Matthew records of all the saints redeemed from the earth attending the great banquet while those who rejected among them the nation of Israel cast out into outer darkness. (8:12) Significant is the Parable of the Great Banquet recorded by him."The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son."(Matt.22:2)
Joseph settling down at Nazareth so "He shall be called a Nazarene," speaks of the generation of the son of Man.(2:23)
Love is the bond of perfection according to Col 3:14. This is where Christianity of the hour falls short of perfection, as they believe they can not be perfect because the serpent preacher behind the pulpit isn't. The same serpent that deceived Eve has deceived Christians by using vain deceit, philosophy, theology, out-of-context verses, misconceptions, and lies.
Without the live of the truth mankind do know know what the love of God in Christ is about 100% conditional love. Everybody claims to know God and love him, however, does God know you in Christ? The preacher preaches God loves you when it is nothing but idle words to occupy their pews every Sunday just vain deceit, vain words to get at your pocketbook and not for the saving of the soul. Without Jesus Christ the Son of God and his words in you there is no love in a man or woman as Jesus' words are spirit and life John 6:63. The preacher who preaches God is love does not themselves have a stitch of that love. The live they posess is the live of money the root of all evil, the live for your pocketbook and nothing for the saving of your soul. Sunday school is not that love of the truth. It is every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God spoken by the Son of God Jesus Christ the law of spirit and life the words of spirit and life which sents us free from the law of sin and death.
Being a sinner is not God's love. God's live is that he washed us from all sin through the blood words of Jesus John 15:3 and Rev 1:5. In order to have something you must first posess it. In order to have love you must first posess it. No truth = no love.
2nd Thess 2:10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong deluson, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
What law is John talking about? Not the ten commandments but the law the that Jesus came with, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1-2. The ten commandments were a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ Jesus Galations 3:24-25. Sin is a violation of the law of the spirit of life as it is the opposite of what Moses carried the law of sin and death. All sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8. Tge reason why mankind sins and has to sin is because thry are a servant to sin a servant to the devil and not to Jesus Christ the Son of God.
The law of Moses made nothing perfect, it was the brining in of the better hope that did Hebrews 7:9. The law of spirit and life as Jesus'words are spirit and life John 6:63. Churches of all kinds are still bound by the old law, that is why they still celebrate the Sabbath when Jesus is now our rest and not the Sabbath day anymore.
Gal.3[24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster
Rev 14:13] And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Hebrews 4:8] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
[9] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
[10] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
In Christ Jesus we are blessed with the righteousness of God though faith. No one can be righteous be being faithful to the Ten Commandments. We must be faithful to Jesus. Jesus presented himself to his Father on the day of his resurrection as a living sacrifice, and He became the one to redeem us from trying to establish our own righteousness by keeping the commandments. Now, thorough Jesus Christ, we are made the righteousness of God. Anyone who claims to be righteous by keeping the commandments or because they do not commit any sin, have a righteousness which is of no avail for it has been done away with by the death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord. We can not say the Ten Commandments are to be done away with. It is the righteousness which was once obtained by keeping the commandments which is done away with. This is why we glory in Christ Jesus at all times for He is our righteousness if we choose to walk and continue in his word. We follow after new laws the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1-3. Jesus is the end of the law of righteousness Romans 10:4. You were a righteous Jew when you kept the commandments. It is now in us thorough the words of the bible which are spirit and life John 6:63.
It is much like the Sabbath. The Sabbath has been done away with because the Lord of the Sabbath whom we serve daily is the forerunner. We are resting in the words of Jesus and not resting on any particular day as the Sabbath day was foreshadowing of things to come. Jesus is the head of the Ten Commandments for righteousness sake, and He is also the head of the Sabbath for rest's sake. In Christ we have ceased to work for our own righteousness. We need to be born of God and do what the Bible is telling us to do. "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he can not sin, because he is born of God." 1st John 3:9. Strive to enter in at the straight gate, and to sin no more. "
Thus man child is a composite term and a Christian is not allied to any other than with Jesus Christ. "Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are signs and portents in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion."(Is,8:18-ESV;He.2:13), Christians have no business to meddle with the so-called Christian nationalism. It is what the dead minding the cause of the damned.
"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth./Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
These children brought before Jesus gives us a representation of the soul of man who receives Jesus by faith. They did not come there to be blessed by Jesus by any coincidence. Nor is our salvation left to chance.( John 6:37)
In the vision of John the cavalcade of the four introduces the man in white with a bow in hand. Where are his arrows? "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." (Re.6:2)
We see him again but this time leading an army and the arrows are there,"And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean."(Re.19:14)
Hello Friends, today I wish to keep the conflict in Israel/Gaza in my prayers especially ass it seems that things will escalate more over the next week. I pray that civilians in each area get to safety.
To continue in my study on Who God truly is I move on to "L" and meditate on God as being LIFE.
God revealed Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14 as "I AM WHO I AM" which speaks to His self-existence. He does not derive His existence from any other, nor did He ever begin to exist at any time, nor will He ever not exit. This is impossible for Him.
When He calls Himself "I AM, it is perhaps one of the profoundest statement we can know. HE IS!
He is clearly stating that He exists, o if, and, or buts about it. He has always existed, and will exist forever.
John 1:4 says that Life is in God. He is the source of all life. Because He is the Life. john 11:25 Jesus calls Himself the Resurrection and the Life. John 5:26 Jesus says that He has Life within Himself just as the Father has life within Himself. Thus saying that He is God , just as the Father is God. John 6:63 Jesus says that the Spirit gives life, affirming that the Spirit is God. And with these statements Jesus is saying that within the Godhead there are three who together gives life since they are Life itself. Nothing comes into existence without being created by God and it is He who give any creature life. In John 6:63.
God made us. Each person of the Godhead is involved in giving us life because they are Life itself, as Jesus says in John 14:6 when He says that He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Romans 5:10 speaks of how we are saved through the life of Christ. By the power of God's everlasting life, Jesus' body was resurrected from the dead and lives forever. This is how we receive salvation. Because He lives, we will live. And since all people ever created receive their natural life from God, those who are chosen by God to be saved, receive their spiritual life from God as well. see part 2
Thank you, this makes sense to a lot of the scriptures;
John 3:15 "That whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
John 6:47 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that BELIEVETH on me hath everlasting life."
John 11:25 "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that BELIEVETH in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:"
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
Thank you again for your time and patience to respond to a question that seems obvious to the experienced Christians. I am nothing but a mere child in the faith and so my understanding is somewhat limited and have a little catching up to do. Thanks and may God bless you and peace to you in Jesus name
The fifth book in the Pentateuch in Hebrew, like the preceding books, it takes its name from its commencement, 'These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness,' The rabbinical text would have it as Sepher Debarim, the book of debarim, or the book of the words. The book is considered as the second law or Deuteronomion.
"According unto all that the Lord had given him in commandment unto them,"(De.1:3) we have in three discourses delivered by Moses shortly before his death, the second Law to which we shall come anon. Three discourses and three appendices, namely the Song of Moses (De.37:1-47) Blessings (De.33) His death and aftermath, are alike stapled together by the command number Three and it refers to the Son.
In short the hand of Moses set down what was God breathed. It fits with God document. His discourses spoken to all Israel in the plains of Moab consequently come within frame of reference to the Gospel account of the Beatitudes. (Matt.5)
(See entry under B-Beatitudes)
"When thou art come unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me." (De.17:14-15) The Spirit refers to the possibility of people of Israel opting for a king over them 'like as all the nations' that are about them. In such a case a second law is to be given to the future king. We see this fulfilled but in the manner Jesus avoided those who by force would make him a king ( John 6:15) is a commentary on the Law given by Moses was inadequate. In Jesus was the fulfilment of the Law. God had set a Day by decree for his Son (Ps.2:7) and he was content to abide by his Will.
It is not ourselves but it is God who has brought us into the Fellowship of God and Man. This is the gift of God. (Ep.2:8-10) Jesus speaks of it from his POV, "As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him."( John 17:2) Glory of the word like seed finding the right soil so wisdom is a deep calling unto deep,- which in this case is the power and he has power over all who would benefit from. He knew who were his. "those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled."(17:12) That the scripture might be fulfilled sets him the soul, the knowing part so we have Adam as the double revealing another aspect of the Son. As the Son of man he knew what was in the man of man. "But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him./And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father."( John 6:63-64)
It pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.
"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
The Spirit invests in Adam the same qualities that Christ as the brightness of His glory displayed. As the Good shepherd he revealed his Father the Shepherd of souls(1 Pe.2:25).
a very important subject here in both topics, faith & suffering
1.Faith, we all know that Rom 10:17, Paul earlier says it is Rom 10:8 he's not talking about the letter here
But John 6:63 The Grace / Light that appears in the heart bringing salvation to all mankind Hebrews 9:28 that wait on Him.
Believing that it is He, speaking to us & His first works within us is teaching us to deny all ungodliness & the learning of righteousness
Paul says in Gal 3:2 so there's an increase of His Spirit as we received His judgement of sin & instruction in righteousness.
Here is Power offered to overcome all sin. For He who show us our sin, will not only take them away, but power is given to preserve from repeating the sin. There is one requirement, a truly contrite & broke heart birth through godly sorrow for the offense. This is saving faith produce by the Spirit, True faith purifies the heart, cleanses the vessel 2 Timothy 2:21
2.Suffering 2Timothy 3:12
As we look through both Testaments, we see a common thread, the suffering of the faithful
Paul by the Spirit call them 2Cor 4:17 which suffering brings a far more eternal weigh of glory
Hebrews 11:35,38 attain a better resurrection, whom the world was not worthy of.
We must have a renewing of our minds as Paul contiu.. 2Cor 4:18
What an encouragement on this side of the grave, & the reward is eternal,
Folks,
lets pick up our Cross & follow Jesus, He merciful & faithfully cleanses us from all unrighteousness, takes away our sins against Him, continually increases us with His Spirit alone the Way, until we are baptize unto His death, being dead unto sin, baptizes us in His Spirit, each one fitted in the body according to His gifts, we enter into the fellowship of His suffering (He's there with us ) therefore we experience the Power of His resurrection, & He never leaves us or forsakes us.
Then rewards us for what He alone done through us, what a deal, Come on!
you have not understood what I wrote. No; I do not agree with your interpretation of these Scriptures. I do agree with your understanding of these modernization of the Scriptures.
It's only God's Spirit that can lead us into the riches of the treasures of God's Wisdom & Understanding for His Name Sake.
This is by Grace / Light 2Cor 4:6,7
This is what Jesus meant in John 12:44-50John 6:63Rev 19:10
The Word of God speaking in the heart, that's near us, the Word of Faith that Paul preached.
Who rides a white horse, who is Faithful & True, with a two edged sword coming out of His mouth, & in Rightousness He doth judge & make war against the principalities & powers of darkness in heavenly places within our heart.
And whosoever receive Him in this manner, receive power to become the sons & daughters of God.
and whosoever don't will remain in their sins, no matter how high a profession or form of godliness without the Power.
This is the beginning of the Christ church, and the Gospel first went out to the Jews, Peter was talking to the local crowd. "ALL Jews" Acts 2:5 "And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Also Acts 2:22 and Acts 2:36.
They were celebrating Shavuot-the Feast of Weeks-also known as Hag Ha Katzir, the Feast of Harvest, and known to most of us as the Feast of Pentecost. It is worthy to note that this feast was also one of three which was important for every able-bodied male to attend in Jerusalem.
Peter was letting them know that they crucified their king and Messiah.
Then in Acts 2:37 it's important to notice their reaction and what they asked; (Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, WHAT SHALL WE DO?)
In verse 38 Peter answers them; Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This repentance was to turn from Judaism and be Identified with Christ.
They were pricked in their hearts shows a stone lifted that they stumbled over. Their baptism was their profession of faith. They were baptized by the Holyspirit during this process.
John 10:7-10 you see the Lord is calling the Jews out of Judaism.
In John 15:1 Jesus says I am the TRUE vine or "Genuine" vine. This is contrary to Israel being the degenerate vine seen in Jeremiah 2:21. John the Baptist came to Prepare the way for Lord, John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. This transition period went on throughout the early church.
They were to turn from Judaism and believe on Christ as mentioned in John 6:29.
Peter and the rest of the disciples was told to go Jerusalem to wait on power from on high. When they received that power, they begun to do the work of God.
Continued in part 5
Col 3:[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Visit ZionInTravail on youtube and the web to lean more about the True Gospel of Salvation and the Day in which we are living.
God bless you Brother Carleton.
Part 1
If I may add a few points to this subject, I know we have different understandings on this and I hope you will not be offended, these are questions I have asked myself. What does Scripture support, our soul is an immortal entity that consciously lives on after the death of the body or does it sleep in the grave until the resurrection? Is the definition of death a separation of the soul from the body or is it the end of life, a permanent cessation, and the grave is our home until we are resurrected?
John 3:15-16 Without the belief in Jesus we will perish the Greek word apollumi means destroy utterly, to put out of the way entirely, abolish as in Psalms 37:10 Psalms 92:7 Proverbs 10:28-29 Job 20:4-7 Malachi 4:1-3 2 Peter 2:12.
Our first death is sleep, Psalms 13:3 Daniel 12:2 Acts 13:36 1 Cor. 15:51. If all souls are immortal which means they have eternal life, the question must be asked, what is the gift of eternal life we see in John 3:15 John 6:54 Romans 6:23 Titus 1:2 1 John 2:25 Jude 1:21? If our soul is immortal, why do we have to put immortality on as said in 1 Corinthians 15:51-58?
See part 2
The verse you quoted says nothing about discontinuing the sabbath.
Rev 1:4] John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
Joseph settling down at Nazareth so "He shall be called a Nazarene," speaks of the generation of the son of Man.(2:23)
Without the live of the truth mankind do know know what the love of God in Christ is about 100% conditional love.
And since all people ever created receive their natural life from God, those who are chosen by God to be saved, receive their spiritual life from God as well. see part 2
(1 of 2)
The fifth book in the Pentateuch in Hebrew, like the preceding books, it takes its name from its commencement, 'These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness,' The rabbinical text would have it as Sepher Debarim, the book of debarim, or the book of the words.
But I don't agree with what Jesse implying, its unscriptural, against sound reasoning & Christ Spirit bears witness against it in my heart.
"And (God) brought her unto the man".(v.22)
Jesse you inspire me, thank you
you have not understood what I wrote.
This is what Jesus meant in John 12:44-50 John 6:63 Rev 19:10
The Word of God speaking in the heart, that's near us, the Word of Faith that Paul preached.
Who rides a white horse, who is Faithful & True, with a two edged sword coming out of His mouth, & in Rightousness He doth judge & make war against the principalities & powers of darkness in heavenly places within our heart.
And whosoever receive Him in this manner, receive power to become the sons & daughters of God.
and whosoever don't will remain in their sins, no matter how high a profession or form of godliness without the Power.
Part 4.
PENTECOST.
See Part 5.
