I BELIEVE ABRAHAM SAW JESUS'S DAY BY THE EYE OF FAITH LIKE AS WE DO.ALSO I BELIEVE HE SAW JESUS
IN THE PERSON OF MELCHADECH. I KNOW HE SAW
JESUS IN THE PLAINS OF MAMRE AS HE STOOD IN HIS
TENT DOOR. ABRAHAM NOT ONLY SAW HIM HE TALKED WITH HIM.

Any one who believes upon the Father follows Jesus' teaching & Jesus is not divided in His teaching/ doctrine & yet there're many doctrines within Christendom all claiming to be following Jesus. Isn't this a disparity? Pray for the Father to show you the truth because the Father seeketh only those who worship Him in truth & in Spirit John 4.
NB. 'Father' was omitted in the 1st comment.

There are is no such thing as God(s). There is only one and his name is Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:7 says there are three that bear record in heaven. The father the word and the holy spirit and these three are one. John 1:1 says in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with GOD the Word was GOD... That whole description was of Jesus. In the bible no one verse stands alone. There is always other verses that compliment and/or justify the initial verse that is being read. Prime example is the two verses I listed. Another example is John 8:58 Jesus said befor Abraham was I Am. In Exodus 3:14 GOD said to Moses I Am that I Am.

The son of man is the omega. We know that the alpha is the beginning. So the omega comes last but shall be first. In other words one is the seed and the other is the fruit. It is out of the sea of men that the omega comes. That is why he is called the son of man. The storm is upon the sea but the son of man will appear and calm the seas just with his voice. In every field there is sons of God. These are the ones that he son of man seeks to bring back into their proper place of authority. The others who cannot hear this voice are not the children of God and not his concern however everyone is saved. The sons of God and the children of hell. All are saved.

  • _Rosalina_Sayson_Ko_Tapay_ on Genesis 2 - 11 years ago
    @Dolores

Genesis Chapter 2 mentioned about the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND "EVIL" ( Genesis 2:9,17). But you are talking "all about Lucifer" on your comment dated 9/20/2013 at 12:19pm WITHOUT stating from which Bible Chapters and Verses you quoted them. We cannot verify your statements if they are TRUE or NOT unless you sight your references from the Bible. I gave you all my references so you could check on them based on your discussion about Lucifer on your comment dated 9/08/2013 at 7:51am. I would like to give you my response to your comment after you stated here the Chapters and Verses from which you based all your explanations. For the sake of discussion about "EVIL" as mentioned in Genesis 2 Verses 9 and 17: It is written in Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things" to which I based my conclusion that all EVIL created by God from the beginning was created as EVIL right from the START and all GOOD created by God from the beginning was created as GOOD right from the START. Therefore LUCIFER was created as EVIL right from the START and right from the BEGINNING because he is the father of it as stated in John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it".

None of us is holy. Our own righteousness is filthy rags before God. If we say we have no sin, we are lying the truth is not in us. The scribes and pharisees wanted to stone the poor woman who happen to be caught in adultery. Yet they, themselves were laden with sins. Lord Jesus Christ is the only one, who brings Holyness and Righteousness in our lives. God bless
  • Rev. Autrey on Romans 6 - 11 years ago
(Verse 15) "So since God's grace has set us free from the law, does this mean we can go on sinning?" It is basic and fundamental that we believe that Jesus is God. John 1:1:"... And the Word was God." John 8:24: "For unless you believe that I am who I say I am, you will die in your sins." This is so because it is the death of Jesus as God that sets us free. Paul makes this plain in 1 Timothy 2:3 when he referrs to Jesus as "God our Savior."

That is why good preaching is important. Because if we do not tell the people the truth, they will never know the real Jesus, and never come to salvation!

  • Rev Ifeanyi on John 8:31 - 11 years ago
The word "if" is very obvious. This is a word that introduces condition. The true condition for knowing a true disciple is " if" the person does continue in the teachings of Jesus. It is not enough to be in a programme, cry, kneel, and ask for mercy if we cannot leave the programme and continue in his teachings.
  • Rev. Autrey on Matthew 1 - 11 years ago
Brothers, we do not have 2 Gods, we have one. And his name is Jesus. This is what the prophet meant when he said, "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel, meaning God is with us."

Jesus is God because he is the way God speaks to us. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them."

So the announcment is, THE GOD WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS JESUS!

But what of the Father and the Holy Spirit? The Father is the way God makes his decisions, and the Holy Spirit is the way God inspires us. But Jesus is the way God saves us.

If you did not know this before, God in his mercy sometimes winks at our ignorance. He did this in Jesus' time. Nicodemus was like this. And so was the theif on the cross. He said "this man has done nothing wrong." Still, both would have acknowledged him as God if they had understood.

But people who stubernly reject him, even when they have been told, cannot be saved. Yes, this is a bitter statement, but it is true. Jesus said it this way in John 8:24, "That is why I said that you will die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am who I say I am. you will die in your sins."
  • Rev. Autrey on Psalms 2 - 11 years ago
This verse is translated in another version, "The King proclaimes the Lord's decree: "The Lord said to me, 'You are my son. Today I have become your Father." Since Jesus is the "I AM" or God of the OT, this is Jesus talking about himself.

Specifically, he is speaking of his human birth. As a human he decreed that he would call himself God's Son. This does not take away his status as God. Because as God, he existed before his human birth. As he said to the Jews in John 8:58: "The truth is. I existed before Abraham was even born."

At this point the Jews picked up stones to kill him because thay knew what he was saying!
  • Bapist Ben on Revelation 3 - 11 years ago
Sorry Pastor Enang, Revelation chapters 2 and 3 are talking to churches, not lost people. Christ is on the outside of this church desiring fellowship with the saints at Laodicea.

Hey Grant, Revelation 3:14 does not say Jesus is the creation it says "the beginning of the creation of God;" Read John 8:58 where Jesus declares "Before Abraham was I AM. That term in the Greek is ego ami. It mean I am now, I have always been, and I will always be. Christ is declaring His deity. This also found in John 18:5. Look what happened in verse 6 when Christ declared His deity. Read the whole book!

john 8:32 And you shall know the truth. Good disciple should learn the word of god because the truth is the word of god and god himself is word all believers should obey the word of god for which it says .

From verse 37 to verse 44 from Matthew 13 Jesus told them why they do not understand his word and is plenty explanatory why they do not. you are from your father the devil.
  • Jim on John 5 - 11 years ago
    Mark,
John 5:31 and John 8:18 do not contradict each other. In 5:31, Jesus is saying that, according to Jewish law, a single witness (in this case, Himself) is insufficient to establish truth (see Numbers 35:30, and especially Deuteronomy 19:15; also 2 Corinthians 13:1). In 8:18, He states that not only He, but the Father also, bears witness of Him. Thus, his witness (which agrees with that of the Father) is TRUE.

Many things are possible! Even: The tomb of Abraham was in the area that Jesus walked and roamed, perhaps before his ministry began. He could easily have gone to Abraham's tomb and raised him from death to satisfy a promise implied by his longing. But of course, such is not written. The wonder to me here is that mysteries like these seem to stretch and broaden the faith, not weaken it.

This is so true the Israelites were scattered around the world. They are hated even to this day and do not know who they are or whose they are these people in Israel told Jesus they never been in bondage to any man so they cannot be Israel ( John 8:32-33 )

  • Garyloyd on Revelation 2 - 11 years ago
think when you read of the churches which ones God loves completely. Smyrna is one who knew the jews that said they were jews but were not. Philly is the other. John 8:44 will tell you. Cains daddy was Satan if you seek the first murderer and that puts you to Gen. 3:15 where the controversy begins between the seeds. At the end of this book you will see that the time was shorten for the elect to 5 months and Satan comes as instead of Christ or ati-Christ and as Daniel told us with peace and flatteries. Remember Our Lord returns as a Lion with Hail Stones crushing Jerusalem because Satan is sitting playing a god. Store up your food and rent for 2 and a half months because the deeds and program of the seals haven't changed. G

The true answer cometh from reading the word; John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. We have His answers to all things contained in His Holy Word.
