Kalu- John 8:44 personifies the devil through the evil that spreads. Just like when one has the word or spirit of the Lord upon them, they are described as speaking God's word. They are not God themselves. Jesus also spoke to one of his disciples saying "Get behind me, Satan..." Jesus' disciple was not the embodiment of pure Satan, but the spirit of Satan was in him or leading him at that moment. If you go back to Genesis 4:1 it says that Adam 'knew' Eve, they conceived, and bore Cain.
I am familiar with the theology you are talking about that claims that Cain was the direct descendant of the devil. Please remember that GOD is LOVE, and everything God has done or will ever do is for love, as love is his essence. Sometimes, and often many times, we find ourselves face to face with a great deceiver. One who can quote much scripture and appear as though they have all the answers. We are warned of "wolves in sheep's clothing" in scripture. Their strength is to greatly deceive those who might have entered into the Kingdom of believers. In fact, we are warned of the evil one's great manipulation tactics throughout scripture, and this manipulation and deception will only get stronger, in so much that believers, if not careful, will be in danger of believing the lies. False teachers have infiltrated almost or even possibly all of the divisions of religion, making it difficult to spot with a naked eye. That is why the Holy Spirit was sent after Jesus' resurrection, so that if the one who wishes to learn about the essence of God, through the scripture, and not just learn the words of the scripture, in order to deceive ourselves and others, we will receive help by the Spirit, to understand the scripture. Without the Spirit, we are one having eyes but can NOT see. It is every Christian's responsibility to form their own relationship with Jesus, the Savior, by educating ourselves with the aid of the Spirit, so that we don't fall victim to a wolf in sheeps clothing.
This verse confirms that Cain is not the biological son of Adam but rather the devil. That is, the devil did in fact had intercourse with Eve. Cain is the product of this sexual relation. The attributes described in this verse reflect those of Cain from the very begining. It was not the eating of fruit of the forbidden tree that some would thought to believe.
