This passage says it all. As I meditate on God 's word and stay in His word daily and keep His word daily and observe to do what His word says : Then He will make my way prosperous and I will have good success : Umph : Evidently all success is not good success unless it is wrought through the Word of God !!
God 's words are so powerful like a sword. We must meditate them day and night as God is so faithful to his promises that when we obey his words he will never leave us nor forsake us. God loves us so much John 3:16 For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Amen
God now wants his people to move by faith. He brought them as far as jordan making all the necessary provision. Now they must live by faith.by faith they must prepare their provision. By faith they must now Ho and possess the land that Is flowing with milk and honey. The milk and honey would only come through faith. The blessing of the promised land would only be experienced through faith

THOUGHT:A FULL AND VICTORIOUS LIFE IS ONE OF THE GREAT PROMISES OF GOD. THE GENUINE BELIEVER WHO MARCHES FORTH LAYING CLAIM TO THE PROMISED LAND WILL BE VICTORIOUS. THERE IS ONLY ONE CONDITION: THE BEELIEVER MUST TRUST GOD, REALLY FOCUS UPON GOD, MARCHING FORTH AND SEEKING THE GREAT PROMISED LAND OF GOD. THIS BELIEVER WILL CONQUER ALL THE ENEMIES, TRIALS, AND TEMPTATIONS THAT CONFRONT HIM. HE WILL LIVE A FULL AND VICTORIOUS LIFE THROUGH THE PRESENCE AND POWER OF THE LORD.
Gods assurance and promises to his people that they must continue to stay on his word. they must not change their ways when he blesses them they must remain in him and he will remain in them. Amen
this is the Lords promise to his servant Joshua. Jesus himself said that we will do things greater than what he had done when he was on earth. But it demands obedience and faith on our part..yes obedience and not sacrifice- giving more priority to God and then waiting on him.
We want to read the Bible at a pace that allows for meditation. Jehovah God does not want his servants to rush through a reading of his Word. When we meditate on what we read, it will help us to fix attention on portions that are especially useful and encouraging.
God was promising Joshua that everything he claim on his name will be given to him he must not worry about, and God is not a man to lie he always keep his promises must trust his word nothing els.

Primarily I see an element of interpreting other 's dreams for yours to be realized. Joshua was Moses ' Minister. I am also adviced not to let the Word depart from you if you have to prosper and have good success.
The WORD of GOD standeth sure and He wants us to be certain that His WORD cannot fail, He said as he was with Moses so he will be with thee, he will not fail thee nor forsake thee, so we need not fear nor be discourage, but eat this WORD night and day till we become it.
To Train a child means to make the child know the word of God from an early age When the word is poured into the child as soon as possible the word will stand as a compass it will direct the child even if the child make some mistake along the way. The word has so much power to bring that child back on track do you know why because the word is Jesus . That is why the Lord said to Joshua this book of the law or this word of the Lord move over this Jesus shall not depart from your mouth Joshua 1:8 when we Train our children the way of God it will definitely change the course of that child's life forever
For me today! Just imagine, every promise in His Word that we take by faith and walk in it will become ours!! Wooooo I 'm so blessed and so are you if you take it and walk in it. Don 't stop walking keep going or you 'll get lulled to sleep in your spiritual life and won 't keep on inheriting the promises.
Amen Winny! How beautifully said! I like verse 16 too. How more blessed we would be if we all obeyed the Word, meditated on it, lived it. We would feel more rested in Christ!
