13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his Sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain (a Prince) of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Daniel 12:-13
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time(because Michael stand up): and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Matthew 24:15and21-23
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,(whoso readeth, let him understand )
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23Then if any man(Pastors, Bishops,Evangelists,etc.) shall say unto you,Lo, here is Christ( John 5:43-47.Take a look),or there;BELIEVE IT NOT.
Re.12:7 & 10-11
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his messengers fought against the dragon( Revelation 13:11);and the dragon fought and his messengers.
It seems that you did not understand that GOD gave the sealed book of Revelation unto JESUS,and JESUS called an angel(different of the translation,in fact an Archangel,as an ambassador of the Lord),and delivered the message unto Him to reveal the content of the book to the apostle John who was in Patmos because of the Word of GOD,and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Being on Patmos,the archangel presents himself to John being behind Him as recommended by the Word( Isaiah 30:21),not in front,in front only JESUS must be,do you understand?And John heard behind him a great voice, as of a trumpet, so John turned to see the voice that spake with him, and being turned he saw seven golden candlesticks (the 7 Churches of Asia, whose spiritual conditions reflect the spiritual conditions of the Churches in this current time of the END, time of Apocalipse, by the way reflect a very terrible condition);
John saw in the midst of the seven candlesticks ONE LIKE UNTO THE SON OF MAN. How was him? Revelation 1:13-16:
13 He presents himself "clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle".(This picture or scenary remembers Joseph in Egypt- Exodus 41:38-45)
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars:and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged Sword:and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.(By the way, he was also with Joshua in the Old Testament- Joshua 5:13-15)
Paul Apostle spoke about him in 1Thes.4:16 and 1Cor.15:51-52.Take a look.
JESUS warned:At midnight there was a cry made,Behold, the bridegroom cometh;go ye out TO MEET him-Mat.25:6.Who's going?
See,IT'S NOT ENOUGH to just have lamp-the Word of GOD-a lamp for the feet-Ps.119:105;It's necessary also to have oil, otherwise the lamp will go out.
We are in the "Church Age" at this point; and heading toward the final version of the "Revived Roman Empire" as seen in Daniel 2:42-44. The final composite kingdom of the Antichrist is like a lion (Babylonian symbol but modern day Great Britain); a bear (Media Persian symbol also Russia) a leopard (fitting into the Greek or Mediterranean Kingdom); and the final composite Beast of the last days which encompasses the entire earth ( Daniel 7:2-8). This will come eventually with the Antichrist for "one hour" (probably the 7 Year Tribulation) taking over a kingdom of 10 Kings who are yet to have a kingdom ( Revelation 17:12).
Since nations are still mentioned in verses about the Millennium ( Psalm 86:9 as one example) coming to the Lord it is clear they are in God's design to be restored. For now; territorial integrity is important; although God will have to settle many disputes when He comes ( Isaiah 2:4).
God has established through the Abrahamic covenant and other promises to Joshua and Caleb that He would give the 12 Tribes inheritance of all the territory described from the "Great Sea" to the Euphrates ( Joshua 1:4). God does honor covenants though; so agreements made with those in other nations or even Israel itself say with settlements should be honored.
We also need to keep in mind Joshua 5:14 where the Angel of the Lord states He is for the Lord's army not necessarily siding with anyone. This is why God allowed Israel's enemies to prosper at times for chastisement; as was made clear in God's prophecies about Babylon and even the pagan invaders stated this (although I can't find the verse at present). It is humbling to think about this at present; we in our proud nation think the worst thing to happen would be invasion from another nation and submission but are we better than Israel and the Babylonians? This may happen before the Tribulation if He tarries (our borders are already breached BTW). Food for thought.
You said many good things in which I agree and I would like to add my two cents to say that Freedom from the law, in actuality Frees us from being under Any obligation to follow Anything a man would make us to do! Just because a leader of my church doesn't understand something that God has Commanded me to do doesn't mean that I shouldn't obey God, on the contrary, I'm to forsake everything in this world for God! You mention freedom and then you limit freedom by putting restraints upon it by saying that freedom doesn't remove universal laws; and then you give examples by mentioning murder, divorce, and adultery. You see the conflict? The law was our schoolmaster ONLY until Christ came to give us The Holy Spirit! "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed." Galatians 3:23 KJV "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Galatians 3:24 KJV "But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." Galatians 3:25 KJV "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:26 KJV
Now, don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying to use your freedom to sin; but I am saying that no matter what God Commands, if He indeed does Command it, then He has made it holy! With that said; there are only four things (that I have noticed) that there is no provision for in the holy bible, 1) idolatry, 2) sexual immorality, 3)blaspheme against The Holy Spirit, and 4) hypocrisy. As far as I can tell these are things God will NEVER ask Anyone to do. But, just to give you pause in judgment, the conquering of Canaan was called for ONLY when GOD Himself came to Direct it Himself! " ( Joshua 5:13-15). For we can know that it was God because angels do not allow themselves to be worshipped.
I am also so sorry in telling you that you are completely wrong.
Revelation 19:15KJV speaks of the one from whom the own JESUS said he has a NAME that no MAN knew, EXCEPT he himself".
Yes, EXCEPT himself, so you are twisting the own word of JESUS who testified about this one that you call as being him JESUS, erroneously.
For what do you contradict JESUS and get preaching saying the NAME of this one is JESUS?
Actually he is only likeness JESUS- Revelation 1:13-,but he is not JESUS Himself, no,absolutely. And JESUS said that this one doth Judge and make WAR, in fact he is an ambassador of the Lord- Jeremiah 49:14 and Obadiah 1:1KJV- and he bears the insignia of JESUS Himself on his garments as an ambassador of the King Of kings, and Lord Of the lords, according prophecies he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a NAME,yes, a NAME written, that is King Of Kings, and Lord Of Lords.
It is he who was with Moses in flame of fire in the Mount Sina in the name of GOD Almighty in the OT, saying to be the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob- Acts 7:32-33. Take a look. And he was with Moses until his death, and after appeared to Joshua, saying: Joshua 5:13-15
13Joshua was by Jericho,he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his Sword drawn in his hand:and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him,Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14And he said,Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?
15And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua,Loose thy shoe from off thy foot;for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Balaam also saw this one of the Lord standing in the way, and his Sword drawn in his hand, saying:behold,I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me.
Be careful so, what matters and prevails is the Word of GOD
Psalm 78. This is a Psalm of a repetitive theme within the O.T. in particular of God's longsuffering from the time of the Exodus until the time of Israel's peak (in this case; under David's leadership as per verse 70). We should be reminded of Joshua 5:14 in regard to the Angel of the Lord being on "the Lord's side".
God had established a covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15 (after initial promises in Genesis 12 and the circumcision rite in Genesis 17 setting His people apart. some 450 years before Moses and the predicted diaspora that occured in Exodus.
Verses 4 through 8 show how the children were to be taught the Word so that they would not forget the promises to their fathers and of course to worship the one true God. In the case of Ephriam; it is not clear from my study where they failed; but it is clear here that they didn't keep the covenant of God (verse 10). This could certainly be attributed to not destroying enemies as commanded. In any event; verses 11 through 55 show God finally bringing the descendants of the Exodus into the Promised land after multiple rebellions. When they were there they continued to serve false gods (v. 56-59). Thus; GOd once again brought severe judgment. In fact; verse 65-66 could mean that God destroyed "enemies" both within and without once He finally judged whatever nations are referred to here. It is clear from scripture that many died when people presumtously fought without seeking God or sin was in the camp. Verses 68-72 shows at least temporary respite with David and the tribe of Judah being chosen. This would be shortly before the dividing of Israel after Solomon's reign became complete. Ultimately all the Covenant blessings go to God's true remnant but the rest have greater judgment having known God and rejected Him.
This reminds us of Gideon when he asked the angel whose side are you on and he said "the Lord's side." ( Joshua 5:13-15). As with anything else the attitudes of the heart are more important than a surface level of the law. Or; in order to do what was expected "obedience is better than sacrifice." ( 1 Samuel 15:22). This is why certain functions were only done by priests. Christ Himself; of course was fully God and fully man; certainly the Creator could do as He wished. Mercy and compassion were used over and over to the obstinate Pharisees who Christ would frequently bother doing miracles on the Sabbath. Luke 14:5 shows that compassion to an animal is a "work" that someone with compassion would do if an animal fell in a pit. ( Proverbs 12:10-12).
The law until the church was established was still in effect; and people were told to do what was required but not the way the Pharisees did as they were full of hypocrisy. ( Matthew 23:23). The law now was summarized by Christ by loving God with all your heart; soul; mind and strength and loving your neighbor as yourself ( Luke 10:27). We are asked now in the N.T. NOT to follow "holy days" and such ( Galatians 4:9-10). Some say there is controversy there; but it is clear that Paul did meet on the first day of the week ( Acts 20:7); and collections were to be prepared that day ( 1 Cor. 16:2). At the very least; the Son of man being lord of the Sabbath trumps any earlier Sabbath laws since we are under a New Covenant as to having to meet Saturdays.
It would appear that Sunday worship was established; although I will not argue that it is to be substituted for what was Saturday worship; or it is wrong any day to gather for corporate worship. The effect of the law certainly doesn't bring a death penalty. However; many laws that did (the clearest being murder) hasn't helped society today with it's lawlessness; clearly.
Once He comes in the Millennium; He will rule with a rod of iron and enforce law.
There was an order in the processions. The singers went out in front. It's right to praise and worship the Lord who has promised to give the enemy into our hands.
I believe that comes from a guy named Bob Jones that said that. A few other people have said that would happen. I watched a few videos about what they call "the perfect storm".
I personally witnessed, during a hurricane years ago a tree was uprooted & floated down stream in flooding water until it was stuck up under a bridge; caused the flooding creek, to flood in reverse: because of debris that was caught by tree, limbs, roots etc. blocked the flow. Other Hurricanes have recorded winds & other causes doing that to The Mississippi River & other rivers, during past decade. These events they speak of are supposed to be major events. It however doesn't seem to be necessarily noted in scripture except for miracles that GOD used for Israelites to pass through. Exodus 14:26-29, Joshua 3:13-16, Joshua 4:7,18,23, Joshua 5:1, & Prophets: 2Kings 2:8,14,
I've read about the times in the bible where angels have rebuked persons for attempting to worship them ...in this case Joshua was encouraged to worship Him which leads me to believe that this was most likely the preincarnate Christ. Who else could have such great authority over the entire host of heaven? And then who else but God could have knocked down Jericho's walls as the Israelites obeyed His instructions to get it done? He was assuring Joshua that with His Godly power as Captain of the Host of heaven He would be there in the midst of it when the Israelites came against Jericho.
That is likely so. Interestingly, however, the angel's response clearly showed he was not taking any sides in the fight but the Lord's side, and that was all that mattered. What is important is not whether the Lord is on our side, but whether we are on the Lord's side.
When a believer asks God, "Are you for or against us?" he asks the wrong question. There should be no questioning of the Lord but an immediate declaration on the part of every believer: "I am for you, Lord, whether I enjoy what you are doing with me or not."
Joshua 5
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?
Hi Prasanth Through out Gods word angels or messengers of God always came into concretion to benefit man, as was shared by Chris in eastern culture, [bible is an eastern thought book] people who believed treated these beings with great respect and admiration.
They are sent to serve and protect those who believe and those who God knows are going to believe. When the angel appeared to manoahs wife to announce the birth of a son she said it was a man of God that tells us what he looked like then manoah took it a step further he ask God what to do with the child. He didn't question or doubt what the wife saw or said remarkable, then God sent the angel again who gave great detail as to what to do.
God will never give someone a task without giving the resources or info to perform His Will if we're listening. Then after the angel gave details manoah set up an altar to give thanks and since the angels job was done he went back to heaven from the altar in the flame, wouldn't you like to have seen that then it says verse 22 manoah says to his wife we will surely die for we have seen god. I think this is where manoah in his absolute awe went oops we're going to die because given the whole story if doesn't fit. In the book of Acts when the prison doors were opened the angel nudged Peter half asleep and the message was go stand speak to the people the words of this life. The true Gods messengers are always there to deliver protect and defend.
Hello again brother Prasanth. This verse can seem confusing as one easily assumes that Joshua fell to the ground & worshipped the Captain of the Lord's hosts.
Now this is the way I understand it (& by no means it will gain majority agreement). Looking at the Hebrew of this verse, it would appear that both words, 'worship' & 'bow down' would apply here. Some translations, as the KJV, show it as 'worship', while others use 'bow down'. Ordinarily, this could be a problem as it implies two quite different meanings. But if we understand that the outward form of greeting to an aged or honourable person in those days was a 'bending over' (as one would do for royalty), we may appreciate this better. However, verse 14 states that "Joshua fell on his face to the earth" before the Captain of the Lord's hosts, which could give it a further expansion on the 'bowing down' - it was not just a bending over, but a falling prostrate before this angelic presence. So did Joshua worship this angel or did he fall before him giving him honour due to him, as one coming from God's Presence? And this presence is also seen in the angel's command for Joshua to remove his sandals for the ground was now holy. Why? It wasn't holy ground before this time or else Joshua would have shown more care. Maybe because the angel was present & came representing the Almighty.
Another interpretation that is often given, is that this event was a Christophany; i.e. the Angel of the Lord was a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ. I think many would adhere to this understanding, though I remain cautious because of other Scriptures of the pre-incarnate Jesus, as God's Word. Not saying that's not impossible, but I would need more proofs. Trust this helps you.
The Angels desire to look into those things that live and move within the soul of man! This is how they glorify Him, exalting His kingdom through their praises! While we are His instruments on earth, they are the witnesses of the holy Spirit and its works within the soul of the believers! The same power Joshua had, is the power we have through the holy spirit!
As per the scripture Joshua5:14 , Joshua worshiped angel, is it not correct as per Book of Law 10 commandments. But Joshua was treated as a leader and very close to god after Moses . Is the Angel is god or God came as an angel
Which Church Are You Revelation two and three - 3 years ago
On the Day of Pentecost, Jesus delivered The Holy Spirit to Mankind. He is a roaring Wind, Flaming tongues of fire. HE IS OUR TEACHER.
No offense, but we need to lay the commentaries at His Feet, and ASK HIM to teach you what you are reading!
That's how it works. He is revelation. We have the Mind of Christ, as we are being taught by the TEACHER who is the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Worship!! Jesus came to reveal the Father. Resurrected, He ripped Satans power over death, hell and the grave from him. Took the keys and preached to the prisoners. He ascended to the Father, to become High Priest.
Then He came back to earth. Over 500 people were recorded as seeing Him bodily, with the scars of Crucifixion. Finally he told his disciples to wait in the Upper Room till the Day of Pentecost!
This is the Jesus that we worship and witness of. Teach his Word plainly. Tell our own testimonies of. Your Testimony is valuable. It is going to win souls to Jesus...if you tell it. What convinced you? The Samaritan woman at the well took off to her town, yelling "Come See A Man who told me all the words of my life".
The Bible wasn't written yet. The Disciples were testifying what they had learned, experienced first hand.
After the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to indwell their born again spirits, they had POWER!
Religious Spirits are opposed to Jesus that is inside of us. Go search on that. The Pharisees were full of it. We need to understand what that spirit looks like.
We need to discern who we are teaching? Lambs or Sheep? Milk, Bread or Meat. Jesus wants to reach these people. Bring them into the Kingdom. Evangelize them. Pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit's Baptism. Show them to THE TEACHER; THE COMFORTER; THE LOVER OF THEIR SOULS; THE CONVICTOR of SIN. ABBA FATHER...HE WHO ANNOINTS WITH THE OIL.
Joel 3:2 I will also GATHER all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people...and JESUS left very clear in Matthew 25:v.31-33, saying 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations:and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. JESUS also said: In the time of HARVEST I will say to the reapers,Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
JESUS as GOD is the Son of man(capital leter)as the prophets also were son of man,and Michael(Miguel) archangel is also a son of man, and he is engaged in war ( Revelation 12) and also in the harvest, inclusive there will be resurrection and great tribulation-Dan.12:v.1-3:
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince( Joshua 5:13-15)which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of TROUBLE,such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
1Thes.4:15-17- 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel-MICHAEL,and with the trump of God:and the dead in CHRIST shall rise first-RESURRECTION:
What does "caught up" mean? The original language uses the word HARPADZO which means to be snatched away by force. What is your understanding?
Yes, it will be by force certainly. Revelation 11:v.15 to 18:
15 ... The kingdoms of THIS WORLD (the Devil's world) are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.
...
18 - AND THE NATIONS WERE (WILL BE) ANGRY, and thy wrath is come(GOD's WRATH IS COME), and the time of the dead, that they should be Judged, and that thou(GOD) should give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and should DESTROY them which destroy the earth.
Revelation 2:v.25 to 29:
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Be careful and get ready
P.S.
Joshua 5:v.13-14
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.
There will be War against the world of Devil, in fact it has already started.
I just thought I would state this detail of a verse that came to light.
In Colossians 1:19. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell;
As this is after speaking of Jesus Christ being the image of the invisible God and by Him and for Him were all things created. You may note that "the Father" is in italics in verse 19. Because in the Textus Receptus it is not there. It would actually read something like "for in Him it was pleasing that all the fullness dwelt".
Jesus Christ is more than a man and He existed before He was born. He was in on Creation. I can't understand how some would state that all the Words in His mouth were of His Father. Of coarse I understand the Father is in Him and giving Him all His Words to speak. Though you can easily see Jesus Christ is His own person with His own soul. Speaking to and of the Father constantly. Jesus Christ is most definitely ONE with the Father and just as much God though the Son. He is at the right Hand of God. A couple more verses stating He existed before He was born: John 3:12-13, John 6:38, John 5:45-47, John 6:62, John 8:58.
Maybe just to bring up the Angel of the LORD in the OT. Just one instance is Exodus 23:21. Not just a regular angel or even an archangel. How in Joshua 5:13-15. Where a Host of YHWH tells Joshua to take his shoes off for he is on Holy ground. As in Exodus 3:1-6. Again said to be an Angel of the LORD which is then stated as YHWH. God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Where Moses is told to take His shoes off. I would think because where YHWH is, is Holy ground.
I believe the Angel of the Lord in the OT is the pre incarnate Jesus Christ. Could I be wrong? Yes. As I have many other things to prove YHWH is not just one as normal people may perceive. Almighty God is ONE period.
I really don't know why people are trying to attack the deity of Christ. One day we will all have to stand before Him.
I agree with you, that this passage can appear confusing, so we need to look a little at its history.
The requirement for male circumcision was ordered by the LORD under the Abrahamic Covenant ( Genesis 17:11-12) & this was one of the signs (a token) of God's Covenant between Him & Israel. The Israelites were in bondage in Egypt, so this rite was either not performed or not done correctly there; but before reaching the Promised Land, Joshua had to re-circumcise all the males: Joshua 5:2.
With that history in mind, when we look at Exodus chapter 4, we see Moses, after disputing with the LORD about going to meet Pharaoh, finally preparing to return to Egypt to secure the release of the Israelites there. Then in verse 24, we read while Moses' family was travelling & in the Inn, "that the LORD met him (Moses), and sought to kill him (Moses)." Some interpret the "him" as Pharaoh's firstborn son, but that wouldn't make sense, as he was to be the bargaining tool to secure the Israelites' release. Nor could it apply to Moses' son, as at that age (?), the parents were still responsible for having the circumcision performed. It's doubtful that the LORD would have followed through with killing Moses, rather that GOD showed His extreme displeasure in no uncertain terms.
What we don't read in verse 24, is how the LORD was dealing with Moses about his failure to circumcise his son. Because of Moses' failure to do this prior to returning to Egypt, God's Anger was kindled & He had showed them both that Moses' life was at stake. Zipporah, his wife, immediately took the initiative & circumcised their son, & in anger called Moses, 'a bridegroom of blood' (her husband's failure to have their son properly circumcised forcing her to do the job). Moses may have had his reasons for not circumcising (it's suggested that he didn't want it done in the Egyptian manner which was different to what God prescribed), but his failure to do so, brought on God's displeasure & anger against him.
As you read the full account in Joshua chapters 6 & 7, you will find that Achan, son of Carmi (7:1) took to himself secretly of the "accursed thing". 7:21 lists the items that were included in the "accursed thing". So as the Lord (in 7:23, 24) commanded to be done, Achan, his family, his livestock were stoned till they died & all the accursed things, burned with fire. This might sound very harsh, but as in other cases where the people disobeyed the Word of the Lord, punishment came upon them. And this was done to both teach them not to trifle with God & to also remove the evil from the midst of the people.
Being on Patmos,the archangel presents himself to John being behind Him as recommended by the Word( Isaiah 30:21),not in front,in front only JESUS must be,do you understand?And John heard behind him a great voice, as of a trumpet, so John turned to see the voice that spake with him, and being turned he saw seven golden candlesticks (the 7 Churches of Asia, whose spiritual conditions reflect the spiritual conditions of the Churches in this current time of the END, time of Apocalipse, by the way reflect a very terrible condition);
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Here are some scriptures, hopefully these are what you're looking for.
Joshua 5:13-15, Daniel 9, Daniel 10,11, both chapters.
As per the scripture Joshua5:14 , Joshua worshiped angel, is it not correct as per Book of Law 10 commandments. But Joshua was treated as a leader and very close to god after Moses . Is the Angel is god or God came as an angel

17 Then we which
What does "caught up" mean?

Get ready
I just thought I would state this detail of a verse that came to light.
In Colossians 1:19. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell;
God Bless.
