Leviticus 26:32-33 is the condition Israel is in in Ezekiel 37.
Again judgment is much broader than the Babylonian captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:37 "And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among ALL NATIONS whither the LORD shall lead thee.
Deuteronomy 28:64-68.
"And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you"
This dispersion began when Roman destroyed Jerusalem 2000 years ago.
We have a regathering taking place here and we regard that as flesh on the bones but it shows up without the spirit as mentioned. ( Ezekiel 37:8.)
"And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: BUT THERE WAS NO BREATH IN THEM.
This is their current condition.
Verse 12, Is a ressurection of the Nation.
Ezekiel 37:12. "Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, ( AND BRING YOU INTO THE LAND OF ISRAEL.)
No, I don't believe we're supposed to wear crosses. Leviticus 26:1, nowhere does it say wear a cross, as jewelry. However it does say not to make idols.
Recently I thought, if a person had a friend that was killed by gunshot & had a miraculous recovery. How would he feel, if when he returned to his friends & family, they had an image of the gun or bullet around their neck, to honor him. I would think it would be upsetting to say the least. Wouldn't he say, "your missing the main point." isn't it the life lived?Jesus himself being the example of a loving life, helping others in need? & the hope & promise of resurrection. John 5:21-29, 1Corinthians 15:42-58, John 11:25, Ecclesiastes 5:15, 1Timothy 6:7,
Bare your cross: Luke 14, looking at context, whole chapter Jesus in doing the better thing by healing, suffered rejection, hate, wrongful judgement.
A cross is painful, it's obvious, on view for everyone to see, not something we can hide in our pocket. It causes ridicule & even division. Luke 14:11, Luke 14:12-14, Luke 14:17-20,24, Luke 14:26,27, also Matthew 10, note Matthew 10:36, Matthew 10:17,18, Matthew 10:21, Matthew 10:22, please read in context Matthew 10, Matthew 10:32-42, & Luke 9:22-26, also Matthew 16:21-28, Mark 8:29-38, Mark 10:14-52,
But if they turn away from their rebellion and disobedience, if they repent and confess their sins and admit to being unfaithful to God and His covenant; if their uncircumcised hearts will be humbled, and they accept their guilt. Then God will remember His covenant to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and, remember the land of promise; when they are in the land of their enemies, He will not completely cast them away, nor utterly destroy them and break the covenant from His end.
He reiterates that He is their LORD and God and for their sakes He will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom He had brought out of the land of Egypt in order that He would be their God.
These statutes, blessings and curses were made while they were at Mt. Sinai.
One thing that really stands out to me is God's longsuffering with the Israelites. He truly was their God and only hope. He wanted to bless them and fulfill the covenant He had made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But, the people needed to keep their end of the covenant to receive the promises and blessings of this covenant. For us, we can easily take sin too lightly. We can presume upon grace that God will not discipline us for our disobedience. But He will, just like He said He would to the Israelites. You reap what you sow ( Gal. 6:7) We truly need to consider the severity and goodness of God ( Rom. 11:22). He will do what is best and necessary to bring about repentance, reverence and proper fear of the Lord in us. May our hearts be softened, circumcised, and made submissive to Him. He is our Sovereign. He has redeemed us and delivered us from the kingdom of darkness. He has not given us what our sins deserve because on the cross He poured out upon our Lord Jesus Christ all of His wrath against all the sins of all mankind. Think of the agony of that. He bore our eternal hell on the cross. We should really humbly show our gratitude by obedience to His will in imitation of Him.
Leviticus Chapter 26, vs. 14-39 Curses and more Curses, according to you sins.
Wild beasts will enter their land and attack their livestock and children, making them few in number rather than multiplying in population.
The highways that were used for commerce and travel will be desolate.
If they do not re4form their ways after these calamities, God will be against them.
He will bring war and the sword against them to execute vengeance of the covenant. Thus there is a just vengeance for breaking the covenant with God.
When they huddle together in the cities, he will send pestilence. No safety there either.
They will be delivered into the hands of their enemies.
Their bread will be cut off, they will endure starvation.
If they still refuse to turn back, God will unleash His fury upon.
They will resort to eating their own children.
God will break down all of their idols and altars to foreign gods, destroying the high places where they made offerings to idols. He will cast their own lifeless bodies. upon their idols.
God's soul shall abhor them.
He will lay waste their cities and bring desolation to their sanctuaries.
Their offerings of incense and fat will not be a sweet aroma to God, nor acceptable.
The whole land will lay desolate to the point of astonishing their enemies who now will dwell in it.
God will scatter the Israelites among the nations.
And thus the land shall enjoy extended Sabbath rest because the land will not be arable any longer since the Israelites did not give the land Sabbath rests as God commanded.
Those left in the land still will be fearful of their enemies at every turn, stumbling over one another to escape, even when no one pursues them. They will be faint of heart and paranoid.
They will have no power to stand against their enemies and they will die in the land of their enemies. Any who are left will waste away in the land of their enemies.
God's demands are made absolutely clear to the Israelites. They have no excuse.
Leviticus Chapter 26- We are not our own, we've been bought at a price. 1 Corinthians 6:20
The Israelites were bought by God with the same price that we have been bought-the precious blood of Christ. So, since both Israel and Christians are bonded to God in a covenant of the blood of Christ, we should take heed that we walk in the way of God, for the blessings of God are manifold, not just for this life, but especially in the life to come. God's chosen people have an inheritance waiting in heaven that is beyond what we could ask or think. Nothing on earth compares to what God has in store for us! It is this eternal inheritance that caused God to call the Israelites sojourners as well as us. We are all looking forward to that better heavenly country. Heb 11:16; Rom. 9:22-23; Eph. 2:4-7
To live in the blessing of God is the best place to be altogether. Disobedience severs one from the blessing God desires for us and can bring many unpleasant and treacherous things to befall one who take lightly God's command for o44bedience and presumes upon the covenant promised to those chosen.
Verses 14-44 itemizes a long list of curses for disobedience. These consequences increase in severity (7 times over) with each step of discipline that God would bring upon the Israelites until they repent.
First, terror and wasting diseases will come upon them
Next, others will eat of the seed they sow. These enemies will defeat them in battle. They will be reigned over by those who hate them.
If they did not repent, God would punish them 7 times more for their sin.
He will break their pride of their power
He will make the heavens like iron and the earth like bronze so that the fields sown will not get watered from rain nor will the soil yield to the growth of a seed and be too hard for the plants to live. The trees will not yield fruit.
Then, if they do not repent, he will increase the punishment 7 times more.
Leviticus Chapter 26, verses 1-13 God blesses those who honor and obey Him.
This chapter speaks of the blessings and curses that will come to the Israelites concerning keeping God's commands or disobeying Him. In verses 1-2 God reinforces three commandments He requires the Israelites to obey:
Forbidden to make idols of any kind, (pillars, wooden statues, carved stone images), Forbidden to bow down to them in worship.
For YHWH is the only LORD God of the Israelites. They are to worship Him alone. So are we.
They are to keep the Sabbaths commanded by God.
.
They are to have reverence for the sanctuary in which God dwells.
Verse 3 begins the promise of blessings for walking in God's statutes and keeping of His commandments, performing them as proscribed.
The Blessings:
Rain in its season; the land will yield a harvest from the crops and trees. The supply of food and wine will be a full measure to last them from harvest to harvest. They will have bread to eat and remain dwelling in the land promised.
God will give them peace in their land and they will dwell in it safely. The land will be ridden of wild beasts that could harm them. Safety from enemies who would come upon them with sword and weaponry. The chasing of enemies who will fall by the sword of the Israelites when they come to do war with God's people. They will have unprecedented victories over their enemies.
Fruifulness of the womb of the Israelites. They will increase in number. God will confirm His covenant with them (the one to Abraham that his descendants would be as the stars of the heavens).
They will eat from the old harvest and clear it out before they bring in the new harvest.
He will set His Tabernacle among the Israelites and dwell with them in the land. God will not abhor them, He will be their God and they, His people, abiding in this covenant relationship full of blessings.
In verse 13, YHWH reminds them that it was He who brought them out of Egypt, delivering them from slavery.
We are reminded of James once again in regard to the tongue and how dangerous it can be. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways ( James 1:8
There are also prophetic overtones once again; such as the character of the Antichrist in Dan. 11:32. We also see in the first verse that godly and faithful man fails and ceases. That reminds us of what happens when the restrainer is removed in 2 Thess. 2:6. Verse 4 seems to show a world thinking that they are without leadership (small lord). The verse about silver tried in a furnace of earth; purified seven times reminds us of the seven year Tribulation as well as the concept in Leviticus 26:18 for God's people.
Verse 7 shows preservation from this (possibly the last) generation. That could indicate a deliverance FROM the wicked; or THROUGH the Tribulation when the wicked reach their apex.
God knows how to preserve His children as we see the concept in 2 Peter 2:9 (also translated dtemptations) also it is clearer in Romans 1:16-17 where we are kept from the "wrath to come." Verse 5 reminds us that as Christ said "the poor will always be among you." ( Matt. 26:11). It appears that children will be restored according to Isaiah 49:25 as well as literal releasing of prisoners in Isaiah 51:14; although other verses can be applied to Christ freeing us from the prison of sin such as Isaiah 61:1-2 quoted by Christ.
These verses could have been penned by David with some of his own personal situation on his mind at least; but these broad promises certainly go beyond just being applied to David's situation as the Spirit inspired these passages in Psalms as in all scipture.
Leviticus 26:26 And when I have broken in pieces the staff of your bread, then ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
Paul starts off 2 Corinthians by saying "having therefore these promises." What promises? These are promises at the end of Chapter 6. We see in Leviticus 26:12, Isaiah 52:11, and 2 Samuel 7:14, that the promise that God said I will come and I will dwell in you, and I will be your Father, and you will be my children. I will be your God and you will be my people.
Having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit.
Now these are not technical terms (flesh and spirit). He's talking about realm. Don't pollute by getting involved in the spiritual forces of darkness. There's a spiritual influence over you, and don't get involved in those physical human fleshly things that war against the things of Christ. Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness, that is, contamination of flesh and spirit.
Secondly: perfecting holiness in the fear of God. The word holiness is the word sanctification. He says you've been sanctified. You've been set apart for Christ. And we keep trying in the human social to cross the line and be socially joined and get our social needs met.
But at the same time, Paul is saying that you cannot compromise your walk with the Lord by getting involved in situations and with people that are going to influence your relationship with Christ and affect your effectiveness in your walk with Christ.
So, he says the key here is you've been set apart. God has set you apart. His promise is that He's going to be with you and dwell with you. And He is going to be your God and you are going to be His people. Therefore, perfect, (mature) the sanctification. We are sanctified the very moment that God's Spirit comes into our spirit. In 1 Thessalonians, Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica to walk in your sanctification.
Verses 3 and 4 show that if the Israelites would have kept Jehovah's commandments, they would have experienced blessing after blessing. Obedience leads to the blessing of Jehovah God.
What Is Really Happening Behind the Veil - 2 years ago
I was taught that Israel was the center of "Bible Interpretation", the World.
I only mentioned Genesis, about blessing Israel. For more clarity we should compare Leviticus 26:14-39. If we cannot see this correction happening in our society, then we are blind.
Worse yet we are mute. Should we be silent?
All I know is we're being invaded from within. From other nations.
Do you think I didn't pray about this? I did. One word was given to me: CONSTITUENTS.
That's what each person is. It has nothing to do with Blues or Reds. It is the Haves vs the Have Nots. Our voices are Muted. Leaders are no longer listening to their constituents.
In the Tribulation, no one will have a voice. The IRS will take our photographs IF WE EXPECT to get a tax return. To drive a car we will be fingerprinted and photographed again. Powers that be, are working on how to force people to be implanted with microchips to use our own money.
There's a video on YouTube of them practicing on chickens, I kid you not.
Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of SLEEP: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that Sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee Light.
Luke 21:34-36, And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so THAT DAY come upon you unawares.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 - Therefore let us not SLEEP, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
If we don't wake up real soon, to counter and confront our leaders (?) we are without excuse. We are being prepared for the slaughter, not just the unborn, but for the living unsaved. Can you shed a tear for those who are doomed? They have no clue, literally.
Please let's find our voices?
May These Messages Awaken Us to the Lateness of the Hour. Pray.
In the past I've used that analogy of the puzzle pieces. The Gospel paints a picture starting from Genesis.
The problem often comes when one have a picture in mind and try to fit pieces of the puzzles together that don't belong so they have to reshape the surrounding pieces to there liking, usually by spritualizing all the pieces/scripture, or they take one piece of a puzzle/scripture that represents their picture and try to fit it in a 1000 piece puzzle that it doesn't belong to, so they reshape the 1000 pieces by spritualizing.
Here's an example.
Who's the writer referring to here?
"Therefore my people" are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Isaiah 5:13.
I've heard it taught that this was all of creation. ( A piece of puzzle that don't even fit the chapter or anywhere else in the 66 books. )
But if they would let the scripture say what it is saying you would find the answer throughout the chapter, especially verse 7.
"For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry"
Isaiah 5:7.
Here's just a few of many other puzzle pieces.
Exodus 3:10.
Exodus 5:1.
Exodus 8:23.
Leviticus 26:12.
1 Samuel 2:28-29.
1 Kings 6:12-13.
Isaiah 1:3.
Isaiah 10:24.
Isaiah 14:25.
Jeremiah 1:16.
Jeremiah 2:11.
Ezekiel 11:20.
Ect...
There's hundreds that reference Isaiah 5:13. to Israel!!
And Hosea 2:23 suggests God's not done with them. Also Romans 11:1.
God is in the generation of the righteous. Psalms 14:5.
We become his people by seeking him, not everyone will do this.
Zachariah gives a distinction between between the heathen nations and God's people. Zachariah 8:7.
Another distinction.
Mathew 7:21-23. You can't be his people and he not know you.
Verses 1 through 12 indicate covenant blessings for obedience; but the section 13 through 43 are almost 3 times longer where there are warnings of cursing for disobedience. Notwithstanding; there are promises in the last three verses that the covenant would still remain UNbroken (v. 44); and that the ancient promises would still be ultimately remembered. God according to Christ "chastises everyone He loves." ( Heb. 12:6). This can be in regard to an individual; but also the promises ultimately mentioned in Romans to the Jews who are now "blind in part" ( Romans 11:25) until the "full number of Gentiles has come in." This could refer to the Rapture as many commentators suggest; but the full supplication will not occur until around the time of Armageddon when they shall "mourn for the One they pierced" ( Zech. 12:10).
We do well as a nation to study these verses on Israel. In some sense; we are still held under the statement "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you." ( Gen. 12:3). God judges the nations as He pleases (and does all things as He pleases according to Psalm 115:3; 135:6-etc.) All calamities are at least indirectly related to sin; whether our own personal ones; or society at large in a fallen world. We can't always attribute a particular event as a proof of this; however; as Christ's comment on the falling of the tower of Siloam and the blood mixed with the sacrifices indicated in Luke 13:4. There are plenty of things here and in Deuteronomy; however which are usually specific toward Israel; then directed toward other nations in later prophetic scriptures when the end comes such as Isaiah; Jeremiah; and Daniel. This; of course reaches its climax in Revelation. Once again; we see the importance of covenants. We have eternal promises that He will remain with us forever in the New Testament; provided of course that He has chosen us and evidence of good fruit
Here is a true to the letter fulfillment of prophesy:
Early on, God warned both houses of Israel (Judah & Israel) if they broke His statutes they would be punished 7 times (7 x 360 days/years = 2,520 years), according to ( Leviticus 26:18).
1) The house of Israel was taken into captivity by Assyria in 721 BC + 2,520 years = 1,799 when (Ephraim) became strong as the British empire, and eventually America (Manasseh) became that great city ( Genesis 48:16-20).
2) Then, 117 years later, the house of Judah was taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in 604 BC +2,520 years = 1917. This happened to the day and hour of singing the Balfour Declaration, releasing Judah on 11/2/17!!! Britain (Rothschild) effectively bought the Ashkenazim ( Revelation 2:9) a home on land they had no claim to ( Genesis 10:2-3). The Times of Israel ran a full page article detailing the story, so this fact is not disputed.
The lead house of Israel tribes (Ephraim, Manasseh, sons of Joseph) are the birthright people (land, wealth) per their Genesis 48 blessing. And that is how prophesy is fulfilled.
Lord I pray this with Ruth and I am in total agreement with this prayer request please let it be done. We also glorify You together. You are able to do all these things plus answer the heart cry of every person seeking Your help! In Jesus name amen thank you thank you
Have mercy o Lord, please restrain us from sinning against you, because we have no power of our own and the gravity of sin is huge. Help us to turn to you and forsake our sins, the sins of our forefathers, and the sins of our youth. When we turn to you, please help us to forsake our sins from the depth of our hearts. Teach us to abhor evil and cling to what is right according to the commandments in the Bible Your manual of life. When we have been reconciled to You our Maker, then deal decisively with the enemy that draws us away from You in Christ Holy Name l pray, amen.
I think the 20+ year old people need to hear that. It's hard to grow up in such a hostile world. I tried to demonstrate in here that aborting babies is a form of worship to Molech. Child sacrifice.
I was shocked to read a story that said college tuition yearly increases, began after 1973 when abortions were legalized. Maybe 2 years after birth control was legal for everybody. All those dark back room stories ended there. It's the Choice people that rehash all those stories. That's all they got. You'd think worshipping an ancient deity (Demonic) like Molech would shock somebody?
A friend from intercessory prayer group at church, asked ME!! to drive her to the Abortion Clinic to get her 7th Abortion. I begged her with tears to give birth and let me adopt her child. She said no several times. I told her I would not help her out with a ride. She moved away. Friendship over.
We are living in times when it's easier to kill an unborn human being, than to take a pill to prevent pregnancy! All those millions of children had futures: grow up, do important things, work, pay taxes for old folks to retire. I'm 70 and I worked 48 YEARS and paid taxes.
Leviticus 26:14-39 Give Cycles of Discipline. God wrote it and it will happen. I'll post it tomorrow.
The Bible says kids will eat their parents; well aren't they living in basements playing video games and emptying the fridge and writing Beer on the shopping list? I hope that's just an exaggeration.
Let us always rejoice that Jesus Chose Us. There's a whole bunch of joy and happiness just around the corner.
The two marks defining the people of God (Israel) were Circumcision & giving of the Law. No other people or nation received those directives from God ( Genesis 17:10,11; Leviticus 26:46). In regards to the Law, they were to learn God's requirements for a familial relationship to Him, to their society, & in their personal lives. For circumcision, they were to be marked out in a way distinct from any other (different from any body markings, cuttings or disfigurement of the heathen, even if there was an accidental loss of an organ or an appendage). And of course, the Apostle Paul spoke of this in Romans 2:25-29, connecting the two directives together - that one couldn't be without the other to the Jew - and since the Law couldn't be kept perfectly, true circumcision then must be of the heart & not of the flesh to count before God. I wonder whether what was given as a Mark of distinction & also for hygiene purposes, was also to alert the Jew that this seemingly unnatural act (of circumcision) was to point him to what the apostle now learned as a believer.
And this practise of circumcision continued, not only within Judaism, but also Islam. Yet as much as Islamists (Arabs) might have their heritage back to Seth, yet "in Isaac shall thy seed be called" ( Genesis 21:12 & Romans 9:6-8). And this rejection of Ishmael by God will always keep those adherents at odds with the "seed of Isaac", & will most likely figure in those awful days of devastation that lie ahead.

People in China get arrested for having Bible studies in their homes. Their Bibles are confiscated. Two offenses and their home has government security cameras installed; for Surveillance. Read the stories.
National Television is mostly lies. Read the stories; also the new bill in Congress to prevent human organ Harvesting. Google that. China has been harvesting organs from incarcerated prisoners and sold to rich Chinese (and others) needing operations. It's big business.
We are all entitled to opinions; but when it becomes reality we need to be brave and teach the truth.
The Old Silk Road from China to the Mediterranean has already been rebuilt; supposedly for commerce. They didn't want to do business with President Trump. Instead they are doing business with the Russians. They're doing business with IRAN too.
Read some ISRAELI newspapers too; Like JerusalemPost. Read their citizens comments and concerns.

These same curses will come upon the USA because this current President is not blessing Israel as our Government always has done.
They've withdrawn support, and refused to replace Iron Dome elements that Israel needs to keep Iran at bay. Iran is within a month of having enough uranium to launch a nuke.
The end times are happening. Why not teach the book of Daniel 6, 7:10, Ezekiel 38:4
You know, you have to read it all. Revelation is not the only source for what is to come. Things are moving fast. What do we imagine happens when Wormwood, and the stars fall from heaven? They hit earth.
Let's spend trillions of $$ to save the earth from what God has said WILL HAPPEN. It is written.
Look at the Gulf of Mexico. It's size. That was an asteroid. They've found it's remains from central S. America to Canada almost.

Paul admonished Timothy to rightly divide the word of truth ( 2 Timothy 2:15). All Scripture is for us, but not all Scripture is to us. That said, to whom is Leviticus 26 written?
Part 2.

This is their current condition.

He will cause more plagues to come upon them.
Matthew 25:31-46,
There are also prophetic overtones once again; such as the character of the Antichrist in Dan.
Your scripture quote is resulting from Leviticus 26:14,15,35,
There is always hope Leviticus 26:40-45,
Scripture out of context can be sad, with undue heaviness
(part 1)

And Hosea 2:23 suggests God's not done with them. Also Romans 11:1.

We become his people by seeking him, not everyone will do this.
Zachariah gives a distinction between between the heathen nations and God's people. Zachariah 8:7.
Another distinction.
Mathew 7:21-23. You can't be his people and he not know you.
Heresies are built this way.
God bless.
Great teachings, may the Lord bless you and all you do.
They were punished seven times = 7 x 360 = 2,520 years
Israel was taken by Assyria in 721 BC +2,520 = 1799 (Ephraim = British)
Judah was taken by Babylon in 604 BC + 2,520 years = 1917 (Judah Balfour Declaration)
Those dates correspond with both houses of Israel; they are significant to understanding who they are.
