Luke 11:29 Christ said no sign given to that particular evil generation. Reason being they wanted proof of the Messiah. What more proof is there than Christ Himself performing miracles and teaching? Their minds made up not to believe. If Christ couldn't convince them, a sign certainly wouldn't, as proven by the sign of Jonah. Israel on the map again is huge sign. Christ said, "watch!" Mark 13.

Prayer is the subject matter of Luke 11:9 We need to pray always.

Verse 9 encourages us to keep on asking and this shows heartfelt desire and it is a display of faith.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing. He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. For he created all things, that they might have their being: and the generations of the world were healthful and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor the kingdom of death upon the earth: For it was neither herb, nor mollifying plaister, that restored them to health: but thy word, O Lord, which healeth all things. For of the most High cometh healing, and he shall receive honour of the king. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

Luke11v5 tho he will not rise and give him because he is his friend,yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth....*persistence

On verses 34-36: Here Jesus is saying you're either 100% fill of light and goodness or 100% full of evilness and darkness. There's no such thing as being partly light and partly darkness, partly good and partly evil. There's only 1 way to be 100% full of light: by recieving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. "I am the light of the world" (Jesus) "In Him was Life; and the Life was the Light of men."

We all have a copy of God's word. The religious people were saying that Mary was blessed to have the Christ. Jesus did not deny it : But said : Rather than that : we are the more Blessed to hear the word of God and keep it. To keep it is to meditate in the word by day and by night and that puts it into our heart to keep it and to draw on His word in time of need . Be a doer of God's word and not just a hearer only. Do what God says. Keep it in our heart !!!

God says that hears and does of his word, please him, because one is walking in obedience. Here is a person who loves, God, himself and his neighbor.

I have decided choose to pray and worship our might god alone since I have to answers and will be charged for my deeds on the last day of judgment

God assured us that He can give us anything,now the ball is in our hands to trust God for great things,meaning there is no need of worrying if you are struggling to get something because God will give you.

I like hw Luke says these words "ask and you shall be given to,seek and you shall find,knock and u shall be opened for" these are wise words we should keep in our minds n hearts,God loves each and everyone that when u ask something he delivers it to you but he doesn't just deliver it to you at the same time,he awaits and looks at ur trust for him ,,,,,therefore i say Christian lets not give up in the Lord for he is the reason we still alive its becoz he loves us and wants the best for us

Like the Scriptures says.Ask an it shall be given.You have to ask.in order to get some answers.An seek an ye shall find.if you don't search for it..You don't know it.An the knock an the door.Shall be open.I think it a learning process that again let's us know how truly good God is.

Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. I have learned to be patient. God may not come, when you want him to. God is always on time. Pray without cease. Always put God first. I'm a firm believer in what Luke 11:9. I'm a living witness to this verse Amen.

Our Great God of love and mercy gave all who seek the greatest gift of all by sending us the greatest person who ever walked the planet, Jesus the Christ who became our greatest friend of all IF we love Him more than our sins and repent of these sins and by faith receive Him as our Saviour. Great truth here in Luke. Sad so many are to busy to care about their eternity. Happy New Year and remember Jesus is coming....

Vs 24,25,and 26
Remind us that turning over a new lease and just deciding to go to church, and start living Godly has its terrible payout. A person must be under conviction and realize and admit I am a sinner.There is enough power in the word of GOD to clean a man up but will not last. Read John 6:44 the drawing is the HOLY SPIRIT. You cannot just get saved anytime you want,the SPIRIT draws amen.

All women past, present future, because it says among women or all. Let us not forget that we may be blessed also for Jesus said that "Whoever shall do the will of my Father, which in heaven, the same is my Brother,Siter, and mother." Matt.12:50 Blessed are those who hear the word of God keep it Luke 11:28. God blessed forever Rom. 9:5

Jesus criticized people who taught requirements that God did not have: "You experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them" Luke 11:46 .

the whole prayer is important we need to acknowledge who we are talking to. have you ever been talking thinking that you are talking to someone you know just to find out it is someone else. but you would think that VS 4 would be in the second part of the prayer and not the last, or could it be the Lords way of saving the best part for last, good things come to those who wait.

The gift of the Holy Spirit, is the gift of eternal life. John 7 38-39 Rivers of living water. Spake he of the Holy Ghost. John 4 7-14 The gift of God, Living water. Romans 6 23 gift of God. Acts 8 20. The gift of God. All this is talking about the gift of eternal life and the gift of the Holy Ghost, it 's all the same thing.

We must fix our eyes to Jesus first so that there will be light in all of our body. Jesus is the light of the world and we must obey his words and commandments. We must keep thanking God and praising him all the time for he loves us all the time and his goodness and mercy is always with us. Amen

That bothers me also! "for Thine is the power and the kingdom and the glory forever " is a crucial part of this prayer and it breaks my heart to see it omitted disregarded
