    Jesse,

That's great to hear. Please do not fall for the lie that reciting a prayer will somehow grant you salvation. PLEASE study your bible and find a church who teaches what you learned, if what they teach cannot be found in the bible find a new church. To help you on your journey of learning "What must I do to be saved" please start with the following: We must hear him Matthew 7:25-25, We must believe in him John 6:47, We must confess him Matthew 10:32, We must repent or our sins Luke 13:3, We must be baptized Mark 16:16 & we must remain faithful Mathew 24:13. God bless!!!

I agree Norman, that John 3:16 states it plainly: that belief only in Christ is sufficient for us to not suffer condemnation. That it is faith only & nothing that can be added to it to make our salvation any more secure.

But if one understands that critical word, "belief", as simply believing in the existence of Jesus Christ as an historical person who walked on this Earth doing good & sharing the Words of God, then the question is: will that belief be sufficient to save? Is there anything more implied in that word, "belief", to convey to us the Mind of God in the sending of His Son for the sins of the world?

If then, those who "believe IN Him" need to demonstrate more than just a mental assent or a verbal acknowledgement of such a Person, what then does that word, "belief" imply & require of us? I see the word as an active pursuit, not a casual, laid back agreement of some phenomenon. To believe in someone or something, I would need to search out the matter to the point where I can indeed say with (some) assurance: 'now I have sufficient reasons for placing my belief or trust in...'. So, as much as "belief in Jesus" is a singular required act to gain eternal life, that "belief" must also be based on Who that Person is, His Teaching, His Declarations from God His Father, & His Work (both at that time of His speaking & of the future at the Cross).

Then Jesus' Own Words on repentance must figure as intrinsic to that "belief": Luke 13:1-5; Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:14,15. So, the "whosover believeth in Him should not perish" must include "repentance" in that "belief", or else believing in Christ is not real, at least insufficient to attain forgiveness & eternal life. So the word "belief" may indeed be a wonderful simple directive to attain salvation, yet the word is rich in meaning, requiring man's spiritual exercises in it, that give it full meaning & God's requirements.

    Brother Tito,

You state: the God you envision..and go on to say that God will forgive everyone even the bad ones, and that the gate to heaven is a Big as the complete works of the human race.

There is no scripture in the bible that backs what you say. You can envision anything - it doesn't mean it's true.

Please read the following bible verses spoken by Jesus. These verses are TRUE, as Jesus speaks the words of God!

    Matthew 4:17

"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

    Luke 5:32

"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

    Luke 13:3

"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

As Christians we can believe in Jesus and God, but if we don't REPENT FROM SIN.we will PERISH!

    Believe these words from God.

    Matthew 13:41

"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;"

    Matthew 13:42

"And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

It's not what WE ENVISION it is what Jesus says.he speaks the WORDS of GOD!

    God Bless

See also Mt. 13:33. Regarding Luke 13:20-21, the correct interpretation is this:

+ The Kingdom of Heaven = the combined saved on earth; particularly the church.

+ Leaven = "another gospel"; any cursed false doctrine which is added to the True Gospel to make it more receptive. (e.g. the cursed doctrine which "so soon removed [the Galatian Church] from HIM (CHRIST) unto another [false] gospel" ( Gal. 1:6-7; cp. Hos.7:4).

+ A woman = the proponent and introducer of false doctrine. The New Testament never describes the True Church generally as a "woman". Rather, the True Church is described specifically and honorably as a "chaste virgin" ( 2Cor. 11:2) and a "the Bride, The LAMB's (CHRIST's) wife" ( Rev. 21:9; cp. 19:7).

+ Three measures of meal = the true saints; the true Kingdom of GOD; False professors and hypocrites will always reside within both.

+ Till the whole {meal} was leavened = religious "leaven" will always doctrinally corrupt any local church that receives it, as well as GOD's Kingdom as much as HE permits (generally speaking).

This parable, as all parables within Matthew Thirteen, describe the progressive devolution of the Church in general, and of GOD's Kingdom until CHRIST's 2nd Coming and Judgment.

Brother Philip, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

If leaven ALWAYS represents sin and evil; explain:

Luke 13:21 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of GOD (CHRIST IN YOU)?

Luke 13:22 It (CHRIST IN YOU) is like LEAVEN ........

    You mentioned Acts 2:38, Luke 13:3, Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9

    Let's examine:-

ACTS 3:19 - "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

Does it say "Repent of your sins"? No! It just says repent, and be converted. We cant always add "...of your sins" after every repent word we meet. What's the context? Look at verse 13 and 14 :- They denied the Holy one and Just and desired a murderer, the killed the Prince of life and they did it through ignorance (v17) Then Paul is telling them to repent from denying and rejecting Christ to accepting Him by faith..

LUKE 13:3 - "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Again, the context. Are they repenting of sins? No. In v.1 some guys tell Jesus that Pilate and mixed some Galileans blood with the sacrifices they were performing. Jesus asks they guys whether they thing the Galileans who Pilate has killed were more sinful than those alive in Galilee at the moment because of the suffering they went through. He tells them blatantly No (nay) and He tells them if they don't turn their ways (repent), they will perish in the same manner that Pilate did to the slain Galileans.

ACTS 2:38 - "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Again, no mention of "repent your sins." Context? After they had spoken in other tongues, some were amazed and others mocked the disciples by saying they are full of new wine(v.13) and then in v.22 and v.23 he tells them how despite Jesus showing signs and wonders and miracles, they still took him and crucified him, but God has raised him up again, and that God has made Jesus, whom they crucified, both Lord and Christ(v.36) They were pricked in their hearts and asked what to do. They need to turn from guilt (pricked) of crucifying Him to believe in Him.

REPENTANCE NOT NEEDED FOR SALVATION - ONLY BELIEVING

You can believe what you want to, but here are some more scriptures that you have left out? Matthew 3:2 ( And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.)

    Luke 13:3

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

    Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

    Acts 17:30

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

    Revelation 3:19

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Acts 3:19

    Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

There is a lot more! Matthew 5:19 (Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.)
  • Adam - In Reply on Philippians 4 - 3 years ago
So, are you 100% sure that repenting is a 'false doctrine'?

    Acts 2:38 - repent

    Luke 13:3 - repent

    Acts 3:19 - repent

    1 John 1:9 - confess

There's even a page showing a whole list of verses on repenting:

    Link

So, how do you reconcile what you're claiming with these verses that clearly say to repent and confess?

The Bible already predicted someone would assume what you did and already answered it:
James 2:19 - believing isn't enough. Even satan and demons believe. Do you think satan and demons will be in heaven? Most will go to hell as scripture says, even Christians. Many will cry out Lord, Lord and will be shocked they won't make it, because of how self righteous and justified they feel.

    God bless.

"Strive to enter in at the strait {narrow} gate; Lu. 13:24 (cp. Mt. 7:13-14) =

CHRIST used the present tense, imperative verb "strive" to describe the Christian's vigorous and strenuous struggles fraught with many temptation, difficulties. and dangers while living the daily Christian life. "Striving" certainly implies ever-present spiritual zeal, for "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof" ( Mt. 6:34b). Of special interest, the Greek noun rendering of the verb translated into "strive" is (pronounced "ag-ONE"), and from which the English language derives the noun "agony".

Brother Richard, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

The lake of fire is the same thing; that, in the Old Testament was called the Fire of the Lord. Natural eyes see this as literal fire; but is it?

Judges 6:20 And the angel of the Lord said unto him, take the flesh and unleavened cakes (represents us) and lay them upon this rock (represents Christ), and pour out the broth And he did so.

Judges 6:21 Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and unleavened cakes (US), and there rose up fire from OUT OF THE ROCK (OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE), and consumed the flesh and unleavened cakes (US).

Zachariah 14:12 ......Their flesh shall consume away while they stand on their feet....

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword (is the word of GOD, God is FIRE) of him upon the horse, which sword (WORD) proceeded out of his mouth; and all the fowls were filled with their (own) flesh.

To understand who the fowls are; we have to go to the parable of the sower of the seed.

Luke 8:5 A sower went out to so his seed; and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the FOWLS OF THE AIR devoured it.

Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD.

Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are those that hear, then cometh the devil (fowls or the air)....

Luke 13:19 It (kingdom of heaven; Christ in you) is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air (devil) lodged therein.

John 15:5 I am the vine; ye are the branches (where the fowls lodge)...

Psalms 104:12 By them shall the fowls of the air have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out DEVILS by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God (CHRIST IN YOU) is come unto you.

I've been healed many times. At salvation I was healed of drugs plus alcohol abuse. I was suicidal and involved in actual astrological chart readings. I didn't know Jesus and didn't know I was serving Satan. The moment I reached to take hold of an invisible hand, I was sure (had faith) a Hand was extended to me; I was born again, delivered spiritually and physically. I didn't experience detox and I woke up the next day filled with the Holy Spirit who impressed on me to rid my house of all cursed occult items which I burned the next day. I hadn't read Acts 19:19 yet.

Every time I prayed for healing and received it by faith, it was done: migraines, arm wrenched out of range. I asked for $3,249.76 to move out of state, and I got that exact amount of money!!

You believe what Jesus says. We are not of this world. Ask the Father, in Jesus name; then receive it. Don't ask selfishly. Ask in faith. Stand on scripture. Jesus is the same today, tomorrow and forever. Fear not.

    Mark Chapter 16

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth NOT shall be damned.

    17 And THESE SIGNS shall follow them that BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents (like COVID), and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall LAY HANDS ON THE SICK and they shall recover.

    Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

    Luke 13:11; John 5:5; Acts 10:38; Acts 3:2;

    Acts 4:9

Did Job trust God? Did everybody who knew Job or didn't know him; some accused him of sin, small faith; his wife told him to curse God and die; then at length God revealed His true majesty and wisdom to Job.

Touch God with praise, worship and your faith. He wants you to touch him. Read those scriptures.

    REVELATION 13:17

May the Spirit grace us with his wisdom and his understanding.

Revelation 1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ .....things that must shortly come to pass.....and signified....

(vs 3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things that are written therein: FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND.

Most will study Revelation and never apply these verses to the truth of the rest of Revelation.

Signified: the nouns are symbols of something other than there definition as denoted by a dictionary. There definition can be found hidden in other scriptures in God's word.

    Example:

Luke 8:5 ....and the fowls of the air devoured it.

Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this...

Luke 8:12 ....then cometh the DEVIL (fowls of the air)

Luke 13:19 (A PARABLE) It (kingdom of heaven) is like a grain of mustard seed....and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches (where the fowls of the air dwell)....WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.

Revelation 2:13 ....Even where Satan's seat is...

Matthew 12:28 But if I CAST OUT DEVIL'S by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God (Christ in you) is come in unto you.

Revelation 12:7-10 And there was war in heaven (where is the kingdom of heaven; CHRIST IN YOU, heaven is YOU): Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

(vs 8) And prevailed not, neither was THEIR place found anymore in heaven (in you)

(vs 9) And the great dragon was cast out......

(vs 10) and I heard a loud voice (Holy Spirit) saying, Now is salvation... strength..and the kingdom....

Must shortly come to pass: the revealing of Jesus Christ, he is the kingdom of heaven: CHRIST IN YOU has to happen in before your physical body dies.

The time is at hand: If you were alive 1800 years ago these words were would have declared the kingdom of heaven to you just as they are declaring the kingdom of heaven to the person reading them at the instance.

    Clarence,

    What sweet questions!

To be saved is to be reconciled to God. In our present state, we are at enmity with God. God is perfect and God is just, we are sinners and fallen. But God devised a way for us to be brought back into a relationship with Him:

Romans 5:9-10: 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

You are saved by acknowledging your sin and its penalty:

All have sinned: Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

The Penalty for sin is death: Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Acknowledging that Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Repenting for your sins: Luke 13:3: I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. - That is a promise.

Just tell God that you are a sinner, in need of salvation...and that you believe Jesus Christ died for you and that you want to repent of your sins and that you want Him to save you.

I will be praying for you Clarence! Dear Lord, please grant Clarence the clarity needed to come to you. Thank you that he is searching Lord, and thank you for giving Him the courage to ask these questions. I pray that he will be saved Lord, and that he will be able to rejoice in that salvation. In Jesus' name...Amen.

The favor of God can be described as "tangible evidence that a person has the approval of the Lord." When we favor someone, we want to be with him or her. We delight in him/her. We connect with him/her in a way we don't connect with everyone else. We usually favor people who also favor us. IN THE SAME WAY, God shows favor to the ones who delight in, connect with, and give honor to Him. Isaiah 66:2 says, "These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word." 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." To be "perfect" toward Him means we seek His favor more than we seek the favor of anyone else, even ourselves.

Proverbs 8:35; "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD."

Psalm 5:12 "For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Proverbs 3:4; "So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

Satisfy me Lord with favor and fill me with blessing in the name of Jesus!

In the mighty name of Jesus, I claim...

    -help reading your Word, daily

    - divine wisdom from your Word

    - patience with my family

    - divine favor in family and business

    - prosperity, bless tithes and offerings

    -shield me from satanic attacks

    - lend me angelic support

    - the release of finances

    Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

A few things to realize about being saved. First you must have repented as Luke 13:3 says "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:5 says the same thing. Christ told man to repent. So what is repentance? It is a request made to God, you are confessing sins, you are saying you are sorry for doing the sin, you are asking for forgiveness, AND you are stating that your opinion and mindset towards sin has changed. Repent is to change decision or your mind. So repentance includes your future actions are not to commit sin again. It's not on us alone to shun sin. You have a need to be honest with God and you must do your part to distance yourself from sin. That part is described in 2 Corinthians 7:1 "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." Cleansing ourselves from filthiness is not forgiving our own sins, it is removing sinful things from our lives. Former smokers throw the cigarettes out. Don't keep beer in the fridge. Don't buy the adult magazines. YOU actively do not bring the sinful thing into your life, distancing from the sins is your job.

Secondly there's a 2nd work on your spiritual man that's needed. Sanctification. This is only for those free from sin via repentance, those that do not sin still. Prayer to God again, that admits you are carnal, that you ask God to remove the carnality, and to fill your heart with the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit which is the same part of God. Paul asked this question in Acts 19:2 "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost." Vs 6 same chap. "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied." Speaking in tongues were needful then but not today & it's not a sign of holiness, but a life free from sin is.

Blood in the ground began with that of Abel, and God judged Cain for his sin. God established government of man

by man when he instructed man to execute murderers. Whether it is murder or lies, it is sin, and God knows the

heart of man. America, unlike other nations, was founded on the rights of man given him by God. Nations,

as with any person, will not flourish in peace and blessing without dependence on God. Sabbath, or rest, is to be

used by man for reflection on the person of God. Adam tended Eden, without breaking a sweat, and so, our rest is

to be in the service of God, no matter the day of a week it is. Luke 13:11-17 Sadly, some Christians have only one

    sabbath per week.

Regarding your views on Water Baptism it cannot save a person. Please read Hebrews 6:1,2. It was one of the rites of of the Jewish Religion ( Numbers 19:7, Hebrews 9:10). Like circumcision, it was strictly an act of faith, and as Peter explains it is an a pledge of good conscience towards God.

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

Repentance is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14; Luke 13:23).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH.

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

    Luke 13:5

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

    Luke 15:7

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

    Luke 15:10

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

    Luke 16:30

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Paul writes in 1 Thess 2:14, 16 - For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, EVEN AS THEY HAVE OF THE JEWS: WHO BOTH KILLED THE LORD JESUS, and their OWN PROPHETS, and have persecuted us; and THEY PLEASE NOT GOD, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: FOR THE WRATH IS COME UPON THEM TO THE UTTERMOST.

If any can show me from the Bible alone where Rome or Islam killed the prophets please let me know. I

hate Rome and know she has murdered many. Islam has killed many but is not mystery babylon, neither the USSA

    Babylon killed the prophets

However Jerusalem is also built on 7 hills as is Moscow (communism) and Istanbul (islam) and Seattle (microsoft)

Matthew 23:34 - Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes:

and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Mat 23:35 - That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Mat 23:36 - Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Matthew 23:37 - O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Rev 18:24 - And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

babylon was responsible for the BLOOD of PROPHETS.

Jesus speaking Luke 13:33 - Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

Revelation 18:21 - And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. .....

...... Rev 18:24 - And in her (Babylon) was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

babylon was responsible for the BLOOD of PROPHETS.

Rev 16:6 - For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Rev 17:6 - And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

the two witnesses of God are mentioned here:

Rev 11:8 - And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Jesus, MY LORD was crucified in JERUSALEM, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. NOT Rome or in Mecca or the USA

Do we believe Jesus or commentaries?

    How about Paul?

Paul writes in 1 Thess 2:14, 16 - For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, EVEN AS THEY HAVE OF THE JEWS: WHO BOTH KILLED THE LORD JESUS, and their OWN PROPHETS, and have persecuted us; and THEY PLEASE NOT GOD, ....

Please pray for my friend Kiran, and her three sons, Ari, Ryan, & Naran; that they may be safe, and that the boys have the fire of the Holy Ghost ignite in their hearts, and so desire to live a Christian life. Please help them to find salvation, and to be zealous, like their parents. Please pray for their spiritual and physical protection.

Please pray for Kiran, and her friend , Saroj, that their ministry will prosper, and grow, and lead many to salvation. That it may be protected from attacks from the enemy. Please pray for Saroj's ageing husband, that he comes to salvation, and that his last days are comfortable. Please pray for them that they will be blessed to always have sufficient for their needs.

The "dry" land is the meek heart dried up the waters of evil speaking. Happy are the "poor in spirit"that is, poor in breath as they will be swift to hear His opened mouth teaching and slow to speak.poor in words.

    Matthew 5:2-3 KJV

    (2) And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

    (3) Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The good ground.the honest and good heartshall hear the Word and keep it and bring forth the fruit of righteousness towards His teaching of the Word of God.

    Luke 8:15-16 KJV

    (15) But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

The earth shall bring forth "grass"that is, peace within the heart. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. They will act in the wisdom that descends from above and not in that earthly, devilish wisdom that is from below the Heaven.

    James 3:18 KJV

    (18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

The herb yielding seed after his kind is faith in what they hear Him saying. There are different degrees of faith. The fruit tree yielding fruit whose seed is in itself is the kingdom of God within us that can grow into a great tree. We are to be His planting of the trees of His righteousness.

    Luke 13:18-19 KJV

    (18) Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

    (19) It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

The seed within us is able to save our souls but we must be "dry" within the heart of all superfluity of naughtiness that overflows the heart in words. We must be doers of His Word.

    James 1:21 KJV

    (21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, This is Jesus speaking and telling us who killed the prophets.

When did the Lord send prophets to the USA, Mecca or Rome?

Well apostle Paul went to Rome and he was a prophet.

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. -- Luke 15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

Luke 15 The son came home (repent means to turn be sorry for your sins ask for Gods forgiveness) Jesus isn't bringing his gift to the hog pen -- we must come home to him.

DiamondJane exactly and Jesus even uses this imagery in his words.

Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
