    Ernie:

We have to understand the difference between taken and left.

Sin (unbelief) governs OUR FLESH, the wages of SIN (unbelief) is death, the "GIFT" of belief is eternal LIFE.

So man is either consumed by unbelief, and goes to the grave, to await the second resurrection: or he believes he and Christ were resurrected TOGETHER; becoming ONE NEW CREATION, and will NEVER SEE DEATH, because he has ALREADY DIED on the CROSS with CHRIST.

ONE will be TAKEN in DEATH, and go to the grave: ONE will be LEFT, never to SEE DEATH, dwelling in the presence of GOD.

Luke 20:36 Neither can they DIED ANYMORE (you DIED with Christ): for THEY (the one's LEFT, and will never see the grave) are EQUAL unto the angels (omnipresent, glorified bodies); and are the children of God (God can't die), being the children of (Christ's) RESURRECTION.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who hath PART in the first (Christ's) resurrection, on such the second death hath NO POWER ...

    God Bless YOU!

    Amen, Amen Nacol1900:

We are the exactness of Christ, and the kingdom is VERY PHYSICAL; just not the physical that the eye of flesh can see.

We are still with CHILD until we depart this body (the RAPTURE, gathered one by one).

Then we PUT ON CHRIST; not only immortal LIFE, but also an omnipresent BODY.

Luke 20:36 Neither can they (the new creation) DIED ANYMORE: for they are EQUAL unto the ANGELS (omnipresent); and are the CHILDren of GOD, being the CHILDren of the Resurrection.

THE MAN Jesus Christ ....is the BODY of the of the HOLY GHOST ...... OMNIPRESENT ....He is THE ANGEL .... we don't give up our body, we just exchange the MORTAL for the IMMORTAL (the RAPTURE).

Ephesians 4:4 ....ONE BODY ...... ONE SPIRIT .....

John 17:22 And the glory that thou GAVEST ME, I have GIVEN to THEM (the new CHILD), that they may be ONE even as we are ONE.

John 1:51 ....hereafter (the resurrection) you shall see (not with the physical eye) heaven open (the BODY of man) and the angels ascending and descending of the Son of man (the new creation)---- CHRIST IN YOU ----

Isaiah 60:22 And a little one (Christ) shall BECOME a THOUSAND, a small one (Christ) a STRONG NATION (Israel).

    God Bless YOU!

UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION

Psalms 17:15 As for ME (Christ), I will behold thy (the Father and God of Christ) face: I (Christ) will be satisfied, when I (Christ) awake (am resurrected, by the Father's SPIRIT), with THY (the Father's) likeness.

Romans 6:5 For if were be planted TOGETHER (you and Christ) in the likeness of his (Christ) DEATH; we shall also be the LIKENESS of HIS RESURRECTION.

Genesis 5:1 In that DAY (the day of the LORD; ALL MEN died with Christ and all MEN were resurrected with Christ) that God created man ( BY the resurrection), in the LIKENESS of GOD created he them.

Psalms 104:30 Thou sendest forth THY (the Father of ALL ( Ephesians 4:6) SPIRIT, THEY (all men) are CREATED; thou renewest the face of the earth.

Ezekiel 1:5 And out if the MIDST thereof (Christ) there came forth four LIVING CREATIONS, And this was their appearance, they (the new creation) had the appearance of A MAN (Christ).

Ezekiel 10:10 And as for the for their appearances (the LIVING CREATIONS), they four (the new creation) had ONE LIKENESS, as a WHEEL (Christ) in the MIDST of a WHEEL (Christ).

Colossians 1:27 ..this MYSTERY (of his resurrection) ... CHRIST IN YOU ..

Romans 8:28 For whom he (the Father of ALL) did foreknow, He (the Father) did predistinate (by the resurrection of Christ) to be conformed to the IMAGE (God) of his son, that he (Christ) might be the FIRSTBORN among many (cloned by his resurrection) BRETHREN.

Psalms 82:6 For I (the Father) have said, YE (my new creation, by your brother's resurrection) ARE GODS, the children of the most high.

John 10:35 If he (our Father, the WORD) called them (the new creation, by resurrection) GODS, unto WHOM the word of GOD CAME ( Hebrews 9:28), the scripture CANNOT be BROKEN.

Luke 20:36 Neither can THEY (the new creation) DIED ANYMORE (you died with Christ on the cross): for they are EQUAL to the ANGELS ( Isaiah 63:9...and the ANGEL of HIS (Christ in YOU) PRESENCE SAVED THEM.

    Do YOU BELIEVE God's WORD?

We cannot love God with all our hearts and minds and strength and all of our souls etc...And have to plz some Spouse...We have to love God with 100% of our being...Nothin less then our complete cooporation is exceptable with him (Jesus)...He that loveth wife or children more then me is not worthy of me...I come not to bring peace but a sword... matthew 10:37

    Hi Marie.

Let's take it from verse 56 to get the context.

    Luke 9:56-62.

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The people of the world are those whom the Savior describes here as the (spiritually) dead who should bury the (physically) dead. Let people, He says, who are not interested in My work, and who are "dead in sin" ( Ephesians 2:1), take care of the dead. Your duty is now to follow Me.

Some hold the view that the man's father has not died yet and what the man is saying let me go take care of my father until he dies, being he was the first born.

"Jesus I will follow you but first let me stay with my father, until he dies. I am not sure how long that will take but once that happens then I will bury him. When that is done then I will come and follow you."

Also, this man may have been consideringhis inheritance. It's possible this man was waiting to claim his inheritance from his father. So, he wasn't just saying he wanted to wait until his father died. He was also saying - Lord I have some inheritance coming to me and I want to secure my financial future. Once that happens, I will be ready and at that time I will come and follow you. It was a matter of priority.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

    Marie Francis,

In Luke 9:60, Jesus said, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

He wouldn't even let him bury his father. That is kind of tough! Well, we know from the scriptures, in Deuteronomy 21:23, it tells us that once a person died, they had to be buried before sunset, on the day of the death.

So if this man's father had already died, he would not be out listening to the teachings of Jesus. He would be attending the funeral and burying his father.

But rather, as Matthew's account tells us, that the phrase itself in the Greek text represents the Hebraism, that basically it says "let me go back until my father dies so I get my inheritance."

You see, in those days you stayed around the house. And when the father died, then you took over. You took over the business, and you took over the estate.

And what he is saying is "I'm really not free to leave. I have got some financial interests that I cannot leave. You see if I leave now, I leave all my inheritance, and so I can't do that!"

Please notice what's happening here. Jesus is fixed towards Jerusalem. He is telling the disciples that you get fixed on Jesus and you follow Him.

But look at all the things that challenge that relationship. You have got conveniences. It's like, "Gee, I have waited my whole life to get the inheritance from my father, and now Jesus is asking me to follow Him, and if I do I am going to lose all that inheritance."

Yup! Let the spiritual dead bury their own dead. You go preach the Kingdom.

Like many times, in our current world: when things go as it's supposed to, not much is mentioned but when it's going wrong, much more said. There was much wrong mentioned about wrongly leaving out Widows, Fatherless children, etc. Matthew 23:14, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47, Job 22:9, Acts 6:1, Isaiah 10:2 please read in context, by reading all verses around the verses given, so you have the "whole story". They also were judged because of that * Malachi 2:17, Malachi 3:5, Deuteronomy 27:19

    1Timothy 5, 1Corinthians 7, Deuteronomy 24:17,

I believe the Rules/Laws GOD gave forth to Moses for the Israelites was the ideal plan. These rules weren't not for "the rebellious nations, surrounding" probably because they may just disregard anyway.

I believe it's good if we look into the Laws & consider sincerely what we can apply today. Deuteronomy 14:29, Deuteronomy 16, we should share in our increase ( abundance ) Deuteronomy 24:19,20,21, elimination of greed, in every area

    Deuteronomy 10:18,

    James 1:27 , Matthew 25:35-41, Deuteronomy 26:13,14,

Please note these scriptures all seem to include treatment of people : James 2, note James 2:1-6, James 2:8, * James 2:14,15,16,17,

    Matthew 25:31-46, Isaiah 58, John 13:34, Romans 12:10, Romans 13:8, 1Peter 3:8, Hebrews 10:24,

Romans 4, notice in those 'works' it's speaking of circumcision Romans 4:1, Romans 4:9-13, not acts of compassion

They don't contradict each other they're completely separate issues, Deuteronomy 10:16-20,

    Malachi 3:5,10 = Deuteronomy 26:10-13 , Exodus 22:22, Deuteronomy 14:22-29, Deuteronomy 24:14-15, Deuteronomy 24:19-21,

    Hello Nats:

I prayed for you and God showed me these short answer to your question. God also reveals to me you are a very special person for recognizing God. You are correct Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Jesus never said He is God. God also gave us in scriptures in the Old Testament that God is the LORD (all uppercase). In the New Testament, the Lord (only "L") is Jesus Christ. Since God sent God's "only begotten Son" (5X mentioned in the NT) you will find that Jesus Christ said in John 10:30 "I and my Father are one.". Another very STRONG Bible verses that showed evidences Jesus Christ is God are the following )along with the entire NT and our fellowbelievers whom I believe are considered saints:Giannis and Vince who responded to your comment):

    Acts 2:34-36

    Luke 20:42-44

    Revelation 11:8

    Revelation 11:15

Revelation 15:3-4 The song of the Lamb Who is Jesus Christ. These verses I sing in my head all the time.

    Revelation 17:4

My friend, I will be happy as much as God will and the entire Body of Christ to hear that you believe Jesus Christ is God. Agape.

The medical term is called " hematohidrosis " extreme levels of stress, can cause it. " There are multiple blood veins netted around the sweat glands, in net formation, that constrict under the pressure of great stress" "fear and intense mental contemplation are the most frequent causes" recorded under National Library of Medicine, .gov

It can & did occur. Luke 22:44, "sweat as it were great drops of blood"

Let's look into Jesus' stress._._ he had known people were plotting to kill him, Matthew 17:22-23, Matthew 21:38, Mark 9:31, Luke 20:14, Luke 22:2, Jesus knew it was the religious hypocrites that were plotting instead of teaching the sheep (his beloved sheep) John 8:37, John 7:1,19,20 even calling him opposite of Christ, John 10:19,20,

Mark 10:34, here: Jesus even knew how & explained it. Isaiah 52, Psalms 22,

He knew he would be on public display, clothing taken from him, they would gamble for them: Psalms 22:18,19

Jesus knew he was being betrayed & even said go quickly, John 13:27,

Jesus knew the followers would scatter, anyone who loves those who depend on them in anyway never wishes to leave them, especially unprepared, afraid, in danger, alone, being pursued, John 17, John 10:11,12, Luke 12:4, Matthew 24:9,

Those are only some of the details. Extreme stress none of us have faced to that level. Hebrews 4:15,

Hopefully these are helpful to your discussion/ debate / controversy. 2Timothy 3:16,

    Sister Suze :

The scripture tells that WE (after the death of the flesh and blood body) will BECOME like the ANGELS.

Psalms 103:20 Bless the Lord ye his angels ....

Psalms 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirit; his ministers (his priests) a flaming fire.

John 3:6 ....that which is born (again) of Spirit is spirit.

Psalms 148:2 Praise him all ye ANGELS .....

Luke 20:36 Neither can they (those resurrected with Christ) died anymore, for THEY (those chosen to be part of the first resurrection) are EQUAL unto THE ANGELS; and are the children of God, being the CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION.

Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers (or possibly someone you have known); for there by SOME (possibly you) have entertained ANGELS UNAWARE.

In the Old Testament Angels; appearing as men, appeared to several.

Christ (the first man) also appearing as the Angel of the Lord.

I would not get freaked out about: THE WORKS of THE LORD.

God Bless You as we grow in understanding.

Some preach fasting as a command because Jesus said "when, thou fastest" Matthew 6:16-21,

Sometimes people & Church congregations fast for closeness with GOD, to feel HIS presence, & clarity on direction from GOD: Matthew 9:15, Mark 2:19,20, Luke 5:34,35, Ezra 8:21,23, Nehemiah 1:4, Nehemiah 1, (in context.), Daniel 9:2-3, 2Corinthians 6:4,5

Fasting & prayer to help deliver people from sin, addiction, mental illness, demonic oppression, Matthew 17:21, (context) Matthew 17:14-21, Mark 9:17-29,

    1Samuel 7:3

    1Corinthians 7:3-5,

    Fasting for deliverance: 2Chronicles 20:1-30, Esther 4:3,16, in context: Esther 3:8-15, - Esther 4, Daniel 6:12-23, Joel 1:14, Joel 2:12,

Fasting in repentance, sometimes even after GOD's judgement : 1Samuel 7:2-17, 2Samuel 12:7-23, (do you think it was easier to except it because he was fasting? While others were perplexed?) 1Kings 21, note 1Kings 21:27-29, Jonah 3:5-10, Joel 2:15,

    Also Isaiah 58,

Jesus fasted an extreme fast: Matthew 4:2,

When it says in: Matthew 10:8, Luke 10:9, Mark 16:17-18, can we do these things without fasting?

I believe there are too many scriptures about power in fasting, direction, deliverance & repentance to think lightly of.

Fasting is submission, Romans 13:7, Luke 20:25, Matthew 17:25-26,

    Hopefully these are helpful

    Chris,

I agree with the way you adressed this topic before. I believe you helped break down the biggest most divisive issue, when there is hypocrisy with abuses & blatant unrepented sins, there is accountability. I believe Jesus clearly taught accountability & old testament usually addressed as within Church / temple & leadership within, also: Isaiah 9:17, Matthew 20:1-19, Luke 20:45-47, Luke 11:39-54, Matthew 23, Isaiah 1:17, Isaiah 1, Isaiah 58, Jeremiah 7:1-17, Jeremiah 22:3, Jeremiah 34:8-12 ._..

I believe you Chris or possibly someone else addressed the question we're they ever really saved?

I address this question as to answer the many outside the church who ask because of injustice etc. This site is for those, I believe most of all.

Faith Knight, I also agree with Adam & Chris this is an issue with disagreement. & hesitation is possibly warning. But, I included scripture covering love, meekness in the way, its addressed. John 15:18,24,25, Luke 21:17, Zechariah 13:6,

    Count the cost? Luke 14:26-35,

Said in sincerity of Love, through the fellowship of Faith in Jesus Christ

    There are TWO resurrections.

Those God GAVE to HIS Son Jesus, The CALLED and CHOSEN, were resurrected with Christ.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and Holy is he that hath PART in the first resurrection ....

Luke 20:34 Neither can they DIE ANYMORE: for they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God, being the CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION.

Those not Called and not Chosen, will die and lay in the grave, along with those that have die from the beginning.

At the second resurrection EVERYONE in the graves will be resurrected back to their earthly flesh; AND JUDGED.

Psalms 149:9 To execute upon them (those at the second resurrection) the JUDGEMENT WRITTEN, this HONOUR hath all his SAINTS (those in the first resurrection).

Isaiah 26:9 .....when thy JUDGEMENTS are in the earth (second resurrection) the inhabitants of the world WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest EXPECTATION of the creature WAITETH (in the grave) for the MANIFESTATION of the Sons OF GOD (those in the first resurrection, that will be their JUDGES).

Romans 8:21 Because the creature ITSELF shall be DELIEVERED from the bondage of corruption (the grave) into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

1 Corinthians 15:28 ...that God may be ALL IN ALL.

There is flesh and blood: A BODY

There is ONE SPIRIT: IMMORTAL LIFE

Flesh and blood, the body, dies and returns to dust,

    Spirit, life, CANNOT die.

Hell is a doctrine of man: If a body of flesh and blood was placed in literal fire, it would be consumed in a few minutes, there would be not eternal torment. No need for a second resurrection.

If SPIRIT (there is only ONE SPIRIT and that SPIRIT IS GOD)( Ephesians 4:4-6) was placed in literal fire, it would not be affected.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Lazarus and the rich man is a PARABLE.

Lazarus went to the bosom of Abraham, symbolic of the BORN AGAIN, being ONE with God.

The rich man went to the GRAVE, a gulf that CANNOT be passed over UNTIL the second resurrection of the DEAD back to their flesh, to be judged and brought to TRUTH.

There are TWO RESURRECTION, one has already occurred, Christ and those that were ORDAINED to have their part in that FIRST RESURRECTION.

Luke 20:36 Neither can they (those CHOSEN to have their part in the first resurrection) DIE ANY MORE: for they (the CHOSEN) are equal into the ANGELS; and are the children of God, being the children of the (FIRST) resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the FIRST resurrection ......

The second resurrection TO JUDGEMENT, has not yet occurred BUT:

Isaiah 26:9 ...For when thy JUDGEMENTS are in the earth (second resurrection) the inhabitants of the world will LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

1 Timothy 4:10 ...for we trust in the living God, who is the SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN (even those in the second resurrection), specially those (in the first resurrection) who believe.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest EXPECTATION of the creature (man) WAITETH (second resurrection) for the manifestation of the Sons of God (first resurrection).

Romans 8:21 Because the creature (man) ITSELF shall ALSO be DELIVERED from the bondage of corruption (the GRAVE) into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

This subject has been hotly contested and I just had a member of my small group take that stance this week. The fact that God is said to put "eternity" in men's hearts surely shows that there is a concept of it once we are at a certain age. ( Ecclesiastes 3:11). We also have Stephen who right before he died saw Christ standing on His throne; then he "fell asleep." Acts 7:60. We have the great "cloud of witnesses" of Hebrews 11; those under the throne who have been martyred ( Rev. 6:9-11); David's commentary about his son dying ( 2 Sam. 12:23) where he says that his son can't come to him but he shall go to see him (after death); the appearance of Moses and Elijah (although Elijah was translated) at the transfiguration; and verses about Sheol. Jesus has the parable about Lazarus and the rich man ( Luke 16:19-31) about the fate of O.T. people in both sections of Sheol; and the captivity being made captive ( Eph. 4:8 also prophesied in Psalm 68:18; Jesus promising the thief on the cross that today he would be in paradise ( Luke 23:43); and that would be followed by many saints coming out of their graves after the Resurrection ( Matthew 27:52-53). We also have Hebrews 9:27 which says man is destined to die once; then face the judgment.

There are many other confirming verses. We must keep in mind that when the word "qeber" is used defining the grave; and a person ceasing to exist it is the body. Sheol; however is the land of the dead. We must also keep in mind that the spirits of just men made perfect ( Heb. 12:23) would start with Christ the first of the firstfruits; so to speak. God is not the God of the dead but the living ( Luke 20:38). John 8:56 says that Abraham longed to see the day HE SAW IT AND REJOICED. We have Paul's vision of things unspeakable whether in the flesh or not he didn't know ( 2 Cor. 12:2). Finally; John's vision in Revelation literally saw the future.

The biggest issue is WHY people think soul sleep exists. It concerns me.

I've had several close to death experiences. The 1st I recall clearly was about 5 or 6 yrs old. I was being held by gentle being, clothed in white & no pain, back to unbearable pain & suffering. I heard myself speak as an adult outside of the situation. That may have been the closest I've ever been to Heaven itself, the place. 2nd time I was electrically shocked while in water, I saw a black hand cover the sky, enormous, I could only see light through the bend of two fingers & only a portion, it was so huge. 3rd & 4th time I was young adult, it was all black around, I could feel darkness & closeness to judgement. I begged for another chance. 5th time I could hear & see the EMTs I had a different view. I was at peace not struggling, no pain. Then as they put the heart zapper thing on 3rd time I think it was. I felt difficult pain again, coldness, struggle. Luke 23:43, Luke 16:15-31, Luke 20:35-38, Psalms 91:11, Matthew 4:11, Matthew 13:39,41,49, Luke 4:10, 2Thessalonians 1:6-12, 1Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1, Psalms 97:2, * Hebrews 2:14,15, Genesis 5:24, 2Kings 2, Matthew 17:1-5, if GOD has allowed Ezekiel, John & others in the Scriptures to see Heaven then I cannot argue they did or not. * Acts 7:55, Jeremiah 52, Revelation 7, Isaiah 6:1, Ezekiel 1, Ezekiel 10,

Matthew 24:3-51, Matthew 25:31-46, we will all give account so may our Words be faithful.

Manuel, Christ is giving you great insight to his truths, so I hope you take what I write as encouragement and not criticism.

In you comment, you said Christ would raise them up the last day.

Manuel, the ones that God gave to Christ to be priest in the kingdom were resurrected with Christ.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection, on such the second death hath no power, but they shall shall be priest of God and Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

When you depart this flesh, in the twinkle of an eye you will put on immortality, and reign with Christ.

This ONE DAY (as a thousand years) began on penecost, when we could have the SEED indwell us. You WILL BE the exactness of Christ.

Luke 20:35 But they (the ones God gave to Christ) which shall be worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection of the dead .....

Luke 20:36 Neither can they die anymore (you died on the cross): for they are equal unto the angels (you become a ministering spirit); and are the children of God, BEING THE CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION.

Mark 12:26-27 is the parallel passage to Luke 20:37-38 where Jesus made the arguement using God's statement "I am the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob", while Luke seems to be arguing that when Moses wrote that the memorial name of the Lord is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob that Moses intended to teach that God is the God of the living. Either way, the Sadducees only accepted the Torah as God's Word and held that the resurrection of the dead was never taught by Moses. Jesus said they were greatly mistaken about Moses teaching and had no understanding of the meaning of this part of his conversation with the Lord at the burning bush.

In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus tells the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. He describes the life of luxury the rich man had and the life of misery that Lazarus had on earth at the rich man's gate. The rich man never did the slightest kindness for Lazarus and his dogs were more caring than he was about Lazarus' condition. They eventually both died. Lazarus was carried by angels to Abraham's bosom immediately upon his death and the rich man's body is buried. However the soul of no longer rich man finds himself in torment in hades but can see Lazarus and Abraham when he lifts his eyes.

Abraham's conversation with the tormented soul in this parable is fascinating for a variety of reasons. Abraham knows about the lives that both Lazarus and the tormented soul lived while they were on earth. Abraham's description of where Lazarus is matches the key characteristics meant by the word heaven and where the tormented soul is fits the key characteristics of the place we commonly call hell.

The tormented soul is aware that at the time of his conversation with Abraham that he has two brothers living at that moment who need to be told to avoid coming where he is. So this is not a conversation occurring at the end of the age. Abraham is aware that these brothers had God's word through Moses and the Prophets, even though Abraham died more than 400 years before Moses, let alone the Prophets that came afterward. Abraham also knew if the brothers wouldn't listen to Moses and the Prophets they wouldn't believe if someone rose from the dead.

The way Abraham behaves in this parable is consistent with Luke 20:37-38 where Jesus told the Sadducees that when God said "I am the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob" to Moses using the present tense that was proof that God raises the dead "For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him."

The thief on the cross asked to be remembered at the end of the age, but Jesus said he would be in paradise with Him that very day.

I have taken that to be wisdom especially when we think to highly of someone & they fall into sin. Putting too much trust in man, woman, their position or title, for example. This was advice maybe through experience.

    Proverbs 6:30, Proverbs 6:23-26,

Hopefully these scriptures are also helpful in reference

    Genesis 25:34, Hebrews 12:16, 1Samuel 25:10-38,

    It is also commanded

    Leviticus 19:15, Proverbs 24:23, James 1:1-10, Colossians 3:25, Ephesians 6:9, Job 32:21, 2 Chronicles 19:7, Deuteronomy 16:19,

Example Luke 20:21, Matthew 22:16, even when trying to trap Jesus they testified that HE wasn't a "respecter of persons"

Jesus was tested by this Luke 4:2-4,

Is it also coincidence that it was a piece of bread that was given before betrayal by Jesus? John 13:18,21-27, John 6:33,
