    Jesus had some secrets that he did not reveal about the kingdom, that it wd come as a birth via a seed in mankinds hearts,but it was hid from the wise and prudent but revealed unto babes,the babes are spritual babes that are gonna be BORN in US ( THE HEAVENLY BIRTH ) Ya gotta realize there is a Child coming that is gonna be born in US via his seed,it was not even revealed unto the disciples at that time,When they argued amongest themselves which was gonna be the greatest Jesus took a lil child and set him in their mists, it was prophetic that he is gonna put a Child in our mists in our hearts which is the H.G. and that is who is the greatest but that was the secret our new innerman which answers to the NEW BIRTH,THAT NEW CREATURE. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision impling neither jew nor gentile but a new creature which is the H.G. That is new to us but is Old being he was with GOD b/f the world was.Out of their hearts they shall bring forth things new and old thats our new innerman that new creature but is really old since he was preordained b/f the world was.We were all born by the will of some man its only our new innerman that is born by the will of God,not a flesh and blood but a spritual being his name sake. Who is my Mother them that hear the word/seed and keeps it that will initiate a birth of Christ in us thus we are his mother spritually speaking.She brought forth a man child that is gona rule all nations,humanity is that woman that is gonna birth Christ in our hearts and minds thus he is truly the Son of Man ( mankinds fruit unto God ) My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you. gbu

    Thank God that He can see our hearts and know what we stand in need of.

    Agreed, this is confusing. Also, if you ready Luke 23:56 they prepared the spices before Sabbath, but in Mark 16:1-2 they bought them after the Sabbath. How can they buy them after the Sabbath, but prepare them before the Sabbath?

    We know it is the Blood of Christ alone that saves, otherwise He would have died in vain.

    Luke 23:43

    And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

    The thief didn't require water baptism to be saved, had he lived and come in contact with disciples he'd have heard same commandment, his action would have been same as Eunich.

    Acts 8:36

    And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

    If the same Spirit that wrote the Word, be in us then would not that Spirit obey His own Word. And would It not act the same way in us as it did in them?

    As for churches and people, I cannot say, but we all know that God is only obligated to His Word, for He is the Word, and heaven and earth shall pass away, but His words shall not pass away.

    Matthew 15:9

    But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

    Psalms 119:6

    Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

    2 Corinthians 10:5

    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

    And Christ is the Word.

    1 John 1:1

    "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

    2 John 1:6

    And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

    Ezekiel 36:27

    And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

    And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.

    John 16:13

    Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

    God bless

    Before the work of Jesus on the Cross and the resurrection the old testament saints went to paradise in the center of the earth. There are many scriptural references to this fact.

    Thief on the cross Luke 23:43

    Rich man and Lazarus Luke 16:20 through 24

    1 Peter 3:9

    Mathew 12:40

    Jesus is God, but he is praying to God the Father, his Father in heaven, to help him in his agonies

    Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the (Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.)

    Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through (faith in his blood), to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

    Jesus forgave sins before he shed his blood, The Son of man hath power to forgive sins.

    If we are washed or if we are forgiven its through the name of Jesus. We agree

    Hello, people who believe that often cite: Philippians 1:23, 2 Corinthians 5:8, and Luke 23:43. However, in my opinion these verses don't clearly state we go to heaven immediately, and there's actually far more verses saying we don't. For example, it says there will be a day of judgment Matthew 12:36, so clearly, people aren't going to skip that. It wouldn't make sense for people to go to heaven/hell before they're judged. Also, it clearly says we will be in 'sleep' before Jesus returns then the dead will rise to be judged. Daniel 12:2 So, it wouldn't make sense for people to go to heaven/hell, then return for a body, THEN be judged, etc. Also, no one judged before Jesus comes. 1 Cor 4:5

    The Bible is clear, the Sabbath is a day of rest for all people. Exodus 20: 8-11 Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Mark2:27,28- the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. Therefore the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath. Ex. 16:18-20, Christ a Sabbath keeper, Luke 4: 16. Luke 23:52-54-56. Throughout the new testament the Christians kept the Sabbath. Acts 13:14, Acts 13:42-44, Acts 16:11-13.

    In response to michelle: luke 23:43 gives us an indication. Jesus spoke to the thief on the cross and said "today you shall be with me in paradise" . It is my belief that when we die, if we are believers, we are immediately in the presence of our Lord. Side note: If I had been alive when Lazarus was raised from the dead, I certainly would have asked him about this. :

    Yes, this is a different Herod than the 1 who ordered the killing of all the infant boys in and around Bethlehem. Most likely, this Herod was a descendent of the earlier Herod.

    'Today you'll be with me in paradise' - suggest that Eccl 3:21 corruption do not belong in the oath of public office, let alone authority. However, Luke 23:43 is in the second death.

    How precious was the faith of the ex- malefactor who became a believer. By not fighting back when attacked we could lead someone to Christ by living a righteousness life.

    In reality, it was each one of us who put Jesus to death. Our sins killed Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21. Also, read Romans 5:8 Matthew 27:22-25 Matthew 27:27-37. The "they" are all of mankind from the beginning of time. We all were born sinners in God's eyes, so Jesus Christ is asking the Father to forgive them for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34.

    If there was no shedding of the blood of Jesus, there will be no remission of our sins. And because Jesus died, justification is granted to all who live by faith in Him. Ever living, gracious and merciful interceding for us before our heavenly father. May we remain faithful unto the end, serving Christ in holiness and righteouness all the days of our lives through the help of the Holy Spirit.

    The day Jesus was crucified, there was 2 thieves also crucified. ( Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.) But the one on the right said ( Luke 23:And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

    43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

    You all have good arguments..... But "time" is relevant on earth but not in eternity. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He said he that believeth though he were dead yet shall he live, and he that liveth and believeth in me shall never die. He that hath the Son hath life and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. We will see the great "I Am"
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 6 years ago
    "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." This man had eyes to see beyond the present realities, and the facts done, to the eternal realms that preside over time. He understood that whatever men do in this life it could not hinder Christ from His eternal glory and purpose for coming into the world. As long as we have breath we can be of the truth and repent.

    "..And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required." Thus it has continued to this day, and so the wicked are embolden to fill the world with their wicked ways, and pursue their fantasies and perverted imaginations of a world without God and without His Anointed. Psalm 2 describes this that has been in the world since Cain.
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 6 years ago
    "And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves." How does one become friends with someone so vile and unrepentant as Herod? And that, especially over the matter of the judgment of what to do about Jesus, and how is delivered up without cause by the who hate Him and want to ill Him without cause!

    "And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?" This is a 'death cross' confession, for before that utterance, both reviled Jesus, Matt 27:44 and Mark 15:32. Check it out...you'll see the man repented after reviling Jesus...

    "And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King." It has ever been the devil and his seed who have lied and accused and made war against the Lord Jesus Christ and always persecute the children of God. ( Genesis 3:15)

    Luke 23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. John 19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
  • A disciple on Luke 23 - 7 years ago
    "For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" When Jesus warned His enemies that their hatred and hostility that they were spreading among the people was blasphemy of the Spirit that would never be forgiven; or when they stirred up the crowds to violence and demanding Jesus' crucifixion; did any of them feel sorry or change their wicked minds in the centuries since?
