Discuss Luke 6 Page 10

This is vintage Jesus. This chapter is laden with steps to be a TRUE Christian straight from the mouth of The Master Himself. The central message is love for God and love for others.

Also in 1John 3:14 Jesus says We know that we have pass from death to life, because we love the brethren.
He that love not his brother abide in death.
And in 1 John3:3 says every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Luke 6:46 says, Why call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say?

we are to love all, even thy enemy as he says in matthew 5:43-48 and in luke 6:27 -36 if our Lord did then so should we and pray for them, those that walk in sinful ways pray for them, you cant be consumed with hatred and live in the light of the Lord, you cant live praising yourself as well for good things you do, you must be humble, walk in faith, except Christ as your savior , repent your sins

I LOVE the LORD....He is allways faithfull to all of us even non Christian...

If we do what He commands us to do,then we're His friends,we i' walk,worrk,fellowship,learn from Him

This can be very hard counsel to follow. We imitate God and Jesus when we follow this though and his helps us to have their favor.

I had a big fight with my best friend and the Lord used Matthew 5:44 to speak to me about praying for him. I felt used and it really showed me his need, and mine, to pray for him. I hope one day we will no longer be enemies, but that he can be restored to my life. It's been 3 and half years and I have gotten right with the Lord. Just hoping the Lord will save him.

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The flesh profit NOTHING!! It's the spirit that counts!! We received the Holy Spirit after Jesus left us in body flesh , His Spirit was sent to us to teach us things ....... With this wisdom we can understand His Words.....

If we are truly lowly in heart, our words will reflect humility.

Humility should restrains us from overstepping our authority. If we recognize that we are not authorized to sit in judgment, we will not be quick to criticize others for their faults or question their motives.

Gloria you can only fulfill this covenant obligation Tithe by Divine Grace. I once had such challenge and I truly desired to pay my tithe so I can receive more blessings from God, indeed God empowered me. When my father died devil spoke to me, now that your father is late,will you pay your tithe? If you pay your tithe how will you get more money for my father's funeral? I shun the devils voice and paid all my tithe, even the cash gift that were given to me, I paid tithe of all. God surprised me and we had more than enough after the funeral. God will engrace you to become a faithful tither. Remember that 10 cannot go a long way in meeting your needs but God can supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19

This bible verse is very encouraging for me and other as well only through jesus we can be save from evil and evildoers.we will pray for them that curse me and dispitefully use other.Amen.Jesus is our victor crown.

Verse 22... SAKE-for the purpose of; in the interest of; in order to achieve or preserve.
Christians will be called evil by the followers of the Antichrist, Son of Man, because that is in order to achieve war and take what belongs to Christians, their lives, beliefs and land, like a thief in the night.

God is faithful he will do

This chapter of Luke is quite deep. How come that I want to do as the Lord says, but fail to do? Pray for me.I want to obey my Lord at all times.
