The next verse 22 says forgive 70x7 which is a metaphor for forgive others without limit. Forgive others as God has forgiven us. If we don't God may not forgive us. Colossians 3:13, Luke 6:37

I'm not one to argue because I believe we all seek out our own salvation but Luke 6:38 tells me to tithe... Luke 11:42 says you ought to have done. Now, if you don't see it the way I do, then don't do it but you should never tell someone that it's not in the Bible until you see the scripture how it is intended for every single person God created. I have a definite difference in my life since Jesus is the center of my universe and I would give all I have if he told me to. What I get back is between me and my savior because all good i receive, I get from him and obeying him has increased all that I have....and yes, it is deliberate tithing from the joy of my heart.

Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. - Matthew 12:1, Mark 2:23, Luke 6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

there are many poor who labor hard with very little in return. But Jesus did speak quite a bit on this, Luke 6: 21-22 Luke 12: 32-34, Hebrews 1:3. There are many weak in spirit as well, that need to hear the truth of the Love of God and he sees them right where they are he is with them, and they are not forgotten in his eyes, we too should be more like God he teaches us to be humble, feed them

If I leave my country for another randomly chosen by me then I should expect to have priority and rights over the existing citizens of that country? And if they resist me then they're immigrant-phobic and need to change, not me? I wonder if this is belief is a falsehood. The Bible says to respect others Luke 6:31 and not give favoritism, so I think this idea seems untrue.

THE END 3 Blessed ARE they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Behold your God!

THE END 2 I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him. To set up on high those that be low: that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off: but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Now will I rise, says the LORD: now will I be exalted: now will I lift up myself.

THE END 1 All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Be still, and know that I AM God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the LORD:

This is very hard counsel to apply but it is not impossible. Jesus left us a model in how to imitate him in showing love for our enemies.

Ask Him for your needs. HE WILL ANSWER IN HIS TIMING-- WHICH IS THE BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR SITUATION. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY TRIALS. HE HAS PULLED ME OUT EVERYTIME.SO WHAT I AM SAYING NOW IS COMPLETE TRUTH!!!

Who will first forgive those who trample your hedge, and lie i court to convict, saying "I have done nothing amiss! I can't yet for evil ensues unabated. Evil will reign on Earth, and there is none to forstall. The evil One is in high office and none can abate his evil doings. The antichrist will hold sway and no law can convict him. He is a joker and laughs at your misery. He will spit blood

Verse 12~Jesus spent the whole night in prayer to Jehovah God before he made a major decision. We too should pour out our hearts in prayer to God in order to get his thinking on matters and to have his guidance.

I believe that the Bible let us know that God is our only hope is in Jesus Christ, and we should not judge others because it's like we are judging God he is the one who created all of us in his image and his likeness. Please read Matt 7:1

Verse 26~Not everyone will speak well of us if we tell them the truth of the Bible. The false prophets told people what they wanted to hear so the people would praise them and love to listen to them.

my children do not forsake the bible nor the writters of it.It is and always will stand against any other translation.Do not contest the other translations for they who write any other have to answer to God.God is not the author of confusion. It is Holy. Now be Holy.Read it.It is God talking to you.Amen
  • A disciple on Luke 6 - 6 years ago
"But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst..." Most of us are passive and try everything to avoid confrontation. This is praise worthy when we are assaulted without cause, as it gives us a chance to die to self and grow like Jesus. But the Lord Himself is often assertive and proactive to confront evil thoughts and hypocrisy.
