Primary themes and practical applications of the Bible (part 4)
It should be fairly obvious that we only can follow what the Lord says in scripture. As previously mentioned Satan accurately quoted scriptures to Christ but it was to suit his twisted logic in order to make another failed attempt to bring down Christ to get the glory for himself. The previous example of Moses as well as any other Bible characters; almost all whose flaws were painstakingly detailed in the Bible show that even accurate biographies of these individuals doesn't mean we should emulate them in all things. Certainly we can learn from their mistakes; even with circumstances from thousands of years ago when men would covet a neighbor's donkey and other things that are hard to relate to.
"Substance over form"
In 1 Samuel 7:9 Samuel only offered ONE lamb which would be for; as far as I can tell all of Israel at that time. There were other instances when men were allowed to take the Passover one month later when unclean; when David ate the shewbread only by law for the priests; etc. Even in the old Testament times; a true sacrifice was with a broken and contrite spirit ( Psalm 51:17). It became clear later on in passages such as Isaiah 1:14 that God was tired of rituals without being heartfelt and he actually used the word HATE to describe it. That word is rare; the only other time I am aware of it is used with the passage "I hate divorce" ( Malachi 2:16). Eventually the New Covenant would render the old obsolete; but we can't say there aren't relatable themes here; once again pointing to a man's heart condition such as was seen with the parable given in Luke 18:13.
Justifying our religious pride certainly hasn't died out with the law and the Old Testament regulations; it has merely found different ways to control and manipulate people under the "authority" of the church and offices of administration that are excuses for "lording it over" parishioners; and often fleecing money.
When attempting to bring attention to man's deplorable state of heart Wh( Jeremiah 17:9) I have found in my own self examination that it is best to evaluate all that we consider what Phillipians 4:8 states and then look at our own heart and soul carefully.
When we seek all that men may say is kind; benevolent; compassionate; etc. and try to find pleasure in life apart from God of course we look to other religions and usually end up in a humanistic mentality. We ascribe to others as well who seem to portray such attributes as somehow "enlightened". I can only speak for myself as a man here; but how much of the flesh is appealed to in today's "Christian" music industry? If someone is young; thin and attractive does it move us as much as someone who is a bit overweight and unattractive who performs on stage? Do we favor those in our own social circles or families above others? What are our motives when we serve others?
Such logic of course often results in men not appreciating what God does provide such as a wife mentioned in Proverbs 18:22.
To find the "grass greener on the other side of the field" people think it worthwhile to get a new model and get rid of the spouse that they have been granted by covenant; something Malachi 2:15 says we should not do (also see Proverbs 15:18-20). Interestingly Proverbs 15:8 just before that talks about the sacrifice of the wicked being detestable as contrasted to prayers of the righteous.
Of course many hate God outright; at least being honest about their intentions; accusing God often of being a "killjoy" and sometimes being an admitted Satanist "do as thou wilt" mentality. Of course we have to look at men's obvious evil acts; so we have laws God has set forth to keep order. With all the self professed benefits of "freedom" we see the end result in the fruits of violence and discord in society that many possess or develop as the cultish mentality comes out. Mark 7:21 is the end result.
God made Jesus Lord, Acts 2:36, made is thee Greek word ginomai that means to come into being, to happen, to become. This was foreordained before the foundation of the world and this Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, 1 Peter 1:19-20Revelation 13:8, foreordained the Greek word proginosko means to know beforehand to appoint or decree beforehand.
I see too many Scriptures that do not agree with the doctrine. I hope this makes sense. This is Scripture without man's knowledge or wisdom 1 Corinthians 1:22Jeremiah 10:10 10 Malachi 2:10Mark 12:32
Paul wrote these; Romans 3:30Romans 15:61 Corinthians 8:62 Corinthians 1:32 Corinthians 11:31Ephesians 1:3Ephesians 1:17Ephesians 3:14Ephesians 4:6Colossians 1:31 Timothy 2:5
Peter wrote this; 1 Peter 1:3
These are Jesus's words Himself; Matthew 27:46 Same in Mark 15:34John 14:28John 17:3John 20:17Revelation 3:12
What this says to me, there is only one true God who is the God and Father of Jesus,
These Scriptures are clear without our wisdom or knowledge do not agree with the doctrine of the Trinity. I do thank you and again I hope you do not consider me a Gnostic that would be sad, they are more of a philosophical like the immortal soul came from Greek philosophy, I am believer and follower of Jesus our Lord and savior.
"Ye have wearied the LORD/Yehvh with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD/Yehvh, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God/lhym of judgment?
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before ME: AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD/Yehvh of hosts.
Isaiah 40:1-5
"Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God/lhym.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's/Yehvh hand double for all her sins.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD Yehvh, make straight in the desert a highway for our God/lhym.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the LORD/Yehvh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD/Yehvh hath spoken it.
It's interesting that you have Yehvh, lhym, and dn 'dn being represented as the same individual in these passages and if you add Mark 1:1-4Matthew 3:3 and John 1:14-29.
I have; after a suggestion by a sister in Christ on this site, endeavored to start a series on the attributes of God. I thought I could go from "a to z"; although I don't have anything in the "X" or "Z" letters; unless someone else can come up with something.
The first thing I came up with was anger which is not normally something people begin with in studying God; but perhaps a topic that needs discussion. God is clearly angry with the wicked every day ( Psalm 7:11). That verse also says that He judges the righteous.
In discussing God's reaction toward a saved individual as "chastisement" and the wicked as anger; we see a different outcome ultimately with believers not being damned every time they sin to hell. Nonetheless even with chastisement we can't say that God isn't angry. A father can be angry with a child with righteous indignation; and God as our Father certainly is upset when we grieve the Spirit ( Ephesians 4:30). Sin is sin; we clearly can't use grace as an excuse to sin more ( Romans 6:1-2). The REASON for His anger is different to some respect IF we are His children. We are as believers TRULY dead to our old nature; and if Satan attempts to renew our sinful behaviors it is foreign to our new nature; thus the Spirit contends against the flesh. ( Gal. 5:17). It is contrary to who we are in Christ DEAD TO SIN ( Galatians 2:20) if we sin as believers. If we really deceive ourselves then the truth is not in us ( 1 John 1:8). Thus without the Lord we are still dead in sins and trespasses ( Eph. 2:1); and if we do believe there is still potential for the old man to rise up but no NEED for it to happen if we continue to walk in the Spirit we will not satisfy the desires of the flesh ( Gal. 5:16). Clearly Galatians 5 in particular is a good read for that subject.
There are some things which God particularly hates ( Proverbs 6:16-19) and one he loathes (same idea). God also hates divorce ( Malachi 2:16). Anger and hatred are justified for God
It seems that these two were engaging in sexual immorality either in his own tent or within the tent of meeting. The text is unclear concerning this. It says that Phinehas having observed this from among the congregation makes me think it was an open act before where Moses and Phineas (the high priest) were seated. Phinehas is said t have rose up from his place. This action by Phinehas caused YHWH to stop the plague that was taking the lives of so many men in the camp.
YHWH commended Phinehas to Moses for his zeal for the honor of YHWH and for putting and end to these two flagrant idolaters. Phineas was given a covenant of peace and everlasting priesthood because by slaying the man and the woman he made atonement for the people. This was a shadow of Jesus, our High Priest, only the way of atonement is reversed; instead of slaying the guilty party as Phinehas did, Jesus, the sinless one was slain to make atonement and take away the wrath of God on sinners. This covenant with Phineas (and the house of Levi) was rescinded as Malachi 2:1-9 because of the corruption of the priesthood by the Levites. Jesus is the only SINLESS one who was zealous for God and made atonement. (vs. 13)
Both the name of the Israelite and the Midianite woman were named in this chapter. Perhaps they are so pointed out because maybe the Israelite thought that He could worship YHWH in the same manner as the Moabites worshipped Baal. God hated this severely. The Israelite was the prince (son) of the chief of the tribe of Simeon. The Midianite woman was the daughter of the head over the people of Midian, of a chief house of the Midianites. Both were people of prominence. They may have been involved at the first of this adultery/idolatry and led others to follow. They were bold and brazen in their outward display of such debauchery. So, God made a them an example before the people by stirring Phinehas to slay them both at once.
Proverbs 18:22 states that he who finds a wife finds a good thing; a blessing from the Lord. This; as with any other scripture should be in context; in this case it is to a covenant for a lifetime partner (see Malachi 2:14). Time and space won't be sufficient to explore the relevant passages in Deuteronomy and how they apply today to a family being blessed; but nonetheless the principles apply as in Ephesians 5 and elsewhere are relevant today. Surely Billy Graham was right in stating that the "family that prays together stays together."
God is on display when a family is worshipping together in fellowship and harmony. I have seen functionally this tends to be a strength in the Reformed churches; but with the underlying risk of "religiousity" when children especially are simply living out a role and behavior that they are used to; rather than having any real meaning to them. In any case; it seems to stand out when this is a reality; when you see a whole family truly worshipping God it is an awesome and humbling sight; in my opinion.
Psalm 37:25 states that David never saw the righteous or their children begging for bread. As a dogmatic promise; I can't say that is a promise when you evaluate how many have starved especially in our world in recent years. However the OPPOSITE is certainly true; those weighed down by idolotry; and false religion certainly are more prone to calamity. The case of the cows roaming around in India in the midst of starvation has been a stark reminder of this situation.
When Jesus was on earth; it doesn't really say whether or not the work of some contributed to His ministry; it does mention some women supporting Him. Certainly Paul worked and we are all called to do the same. Too often it seems that the "mundane" everyday tasks of work and chores are somehow "less spiritual" than time in church fellowship. His blessings are material; and spiritual and it is hard to separate them.
Self control vs controlling circumstances (part 2)
There are few circumstances more applicable to this idea of self control than the domestic relations; particularly among husband and wife. Assuming the marriage is legitimate in God's eyes; we have to look beyond our partner's behavior but more especially toward anticipating patterns of bad behavior and holding grudges. This also means we shouldn't plan to respond with corrective rebuke as our first action. Those who are under the blood are "taught by God" ( John 6:45). This is true in any relationship; conviction must start with the Spirit of God; we are but messengers used when necessary to rebuke as "iron sharpens iron." ( Prov. 27:17).
In a marriage in particular; there is a tendency to want to grate against someone-often utilizing that scripture to justify our angry or sarcastic response. It is better to look at the cause; which is seldom what a person is vehemently protesting against-in order to come to a resolution of an issue. Men try to "solve the problem"; while women are often looking for emotional support. Our trust and confidence must begin with the source; namely the Lord Jesus who oftentimes we are amiss in recognizing His continuing role play with the covenant we have made with the wife of our youth (see Malachi 2:14).
Husband and wife interaction; needless to say needs to be dealt with to have any hope for controlling and disciplining our children. If we act as hypocrites; kids are the first to see it and lash out accordingly. We should also avoid slipping away from regular church fellowship; except when necessary. Such interactions allow for wise counsel; and our overall well being as part of the Body of Believers. There are times as laypersons when it is appropriate to offer prayer; or set up a time to talk with a struggling member in these situations. Our foundation needs to be based on the fear of the Lord; not an attempt to be dictatorial or too permissive with kids.
King David was called a man after GOD's heart, GOD loved & honored King David even after his adultery & muderous cover-up, attempt. 2Samuel 11, 1Kings 11:4, Acts 13:22,
Psalms 38, Psalms 40, Psalms 51, David sought after GOD
However, David didn't get away with anything, without consequences: 2Samuel 12, because of the severity of his sin as stated by Nathan in 2Samuel 12, the "sword did not depart" from his house._._
The punishment for adultery Old Testament was death 2Samuel 12:13, but GOD spared David's life
GOD doesn't take delight in death but that everyone should turn from unrighteousness! Ezekiel 33:11, Ezekiel 18:32, 1John 1:9,
Scripture about an Angels carrying ._. Not "spirit" Luke 16:22, 'your question spirit seeing loved ones on earth', more importantly GOD ALMIGHTY sees us Psalms 139, Psalms 27:10, & Jesus intercedes for us Romans 8,
It's important to understand the Biblical laws of marriage were given to Moses for Israel & "the Children of GOD" John 1:12, also Romans 8, relevant.
These laws are for GOD fearing, believers, a guideline for what's best.
Mark 10:2-12, Matthew 19:3-12, Matthew 5:31-37, notice it was to test, Jesus. Deuteronomy 24:1-4
1Corinthians 7,
Malachi 2:10-15, John 3:16, Matthew 25:31-46, Jude 1,
I'm taking the word "cursed" directly from the Bible not other witchcraft things of this world because GOD said no undue curse shall stand. Proverbs 26:2, That stuff has no power over Believers that stay in GOD's ways.
Malachi 2:2, Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 18:8, Leviticus 20:11, the laws GOD had given Moses included the things forbidden that he was actually asking for Solomon to give permission. Being the king, guilt would have cursed as Deuteronomy 28:15-68, promises. Israel agreed to that, in Deuteronomy 27,
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
I also like Malachi 2:17- Malachi 3:1.
"Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?
BEHOLD, I WILL SEND MY MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
Now fast forward to where the prophecy was fulfilled.
Mark 1:1-3. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
As it is written in the prophets, BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER BEFORE THY FACE, WHICH SHALL PREPARE THY WAY BEFORE THEE.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Matthew 11:7-10. And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
John the baptist prepared the way for God to as prophesied.
Like many times, in our current world: when things go as it's supposed to, not much is mentioned but when it's going wrong, much more said. There was much wrong mentioned about wrongly leaving out Widows, Fatherless children, etc. Matthew 23:14, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47, Job 22:9, Acts 6:1, Isaiah 10:2 please read in context, by reading all verses around the verses given, so you have the "whole story". They also were judged because of that * Malachi 2:17, Malachi 3:5, Deuteronomy 27:19
1Timothy 5, 1Corinthians 7, Deuteronomy 24:17,
I believe the Rules/Laws GOD gave forth to Moses for the Israelites was the ideal plan. These rules weren't not for "the rebellious nations, surrounding" probably because they may just disregard anyway.
I believe it's good if we look into the Laws & consider sincerely what we can apply today. Deuteronomy 14:29, Deuteronomy 16, we should share in our increase ( abundance ) Deuteronomy 24:19,20,21, elimination of greed, in every area
Deuteronomy 10:18,
James 1:27 , Matthew 25:35-41, Deuteronomy 26:13,14,
Totally agree with you. Evil in this world is more prominent than ever. I was actually close to death twice: one I was drowning with my own water and my organs are shutting down; next my heart totally stops due to COVID. I can attest to you that there is indeed heaven and hell. I can't understand the urgency for me to re-read the Bible until I found this site. I noticed the mixture of frustrations and anger and love comments. I know in my heart these people seek truth. I also know that these people believe in Jesus Christ's Life, death and resurrection according to the scriptures. I do not understand is that we are reading the same Bible KJV and one says something and another person says different. Are we not one in God? The only explanation is that people listen to man. Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
Only listen to God. For example: Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Are we not understanding English? If I tell you, you are Richard and upon this rock I will build my church. Does it make sense to say you built the church? No. The rock is Jesus Christ. It tells you the story of Moses hitting the rock to flow waters for them to drink. It is a prophetic sign for Jesus Christ. That is why you read the whole chapter then a few verses down, there is reason why Jesus called Peter a Satan. We do not listen to man. Period. Now Jesus fulfilled ALL in ALL. We the believers of Jesus Christ's blood are even more powerful because we have the Holy Spirit. For 2,000 years we are led by man. We are at the end of grace whether you are old age close to death, with terminal illness, unavoidable or unfortunate accident to end our lives, or the so-called rapture. WE NEED ONLY LISTEN TO GOD
Hi, Anon, this is what the Bible says about divorce.
Malachi 2:16 "For I hate divorce!" says the LORD, the God of Israel. "To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife."
Jesus in Matthew 5:32 "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
The Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 7:10 "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:"
But there is nothing sinful about leaving a husband as you don't remarry. In that same chapter, Paul goes on in vs11, "But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife."
Billy Graham said that it is impossible to hate someone your pray for. So, so pray for your husband even if you choose to leave him. In doing so, you will wipe your hatred for him away.
WHY GOD CREATED HUMANS AS HE DID__WHY COLORS - In Reply on Genesis 1:26 - 2 years ago
Everybody has different answers for that. I turn to Genesis where God created man. What material was He using?
Genesis 1:26, Genesis 2:7
God FORMED (meaning molded) man from DUST. He made a clay with water. Scientists say our bodies are 50% water.
Then God breathed through Adams nose the breath of Gods life. Man became a living SOUL.
People get confused over Gen. 1:27 because here it says God created Adam "male & female". See Malachi 2:15 "ONE. A Pair.
Genesis 3:18 God purposes to make Adam a help, meet, for Adam.
Gen. 3:21 God opens Adam and takes a rib. God MADE a woman for Adam. They are "married" in verses 23-25
One=a man and a woman. But by the Books Leviticus and Deuteronomy, we see "perversions of the Plan of God". Which still persists in Romans chapter 1. Today it's different; people are having surgery. GOOD NEWS, They can still repent and be saved. God can't fix their bodies, but He will save their souls IF they repent.
Moses's writing of Genesis seems to skip around, but God told him how to write it down.
God planned that children would be born of one man and a woman. A pair. Married in covenant to each other.
Why different colors? God used dust because dust contains ALL colors. I'm an artist, and we use all mediums to make paint different colors and consistencies.
Eve came out of Adam, so her color was his color. Blending their DNA in a child, could produce a child of the color in that DNA. Colors, diseases, etc can happen if DNA is damaged somehow.
One color is not more precious to God. He wanted all colors, or he would've use just limestone or charcoal. He CHOSE DUST.
Satan was still around. He is the ACCUSER; creator of chaos. To hurt Gods creation, he preached Prejudice. We see in Nineveh when they built the Tower of Babel.
One day, Satan will be in the Lake of Fire, eternally.
DNA is not a curse. It has a purpose. Love yourself and love God. Grace is unmerited favor. Ask God for more.
David, In the Old testament we see numerous occasions of the appearance, as a man, of THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.
Christ is the ANGEL OF THE LORD. Above all angels, he is the archangel Michael.
This is a mystery because he can be inside you as the Holy Ghost, or walk in the flesh as a man. His ministry on earth was in sinful flesh, exactly like we have now; but he was resurrected with the same glorified body that he existed in, with the father, from NO BEGINNING.
Angels are God's messengers.
Malachi 2:7 ...for he is the messenger of the Lord ....
Malachi 3:1 ....even the messenger of THE COVENANT ...
John 17:21 ...that the WORLD MAY BELIEVE that thou hast SEND ME.
Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY ....
You are the body of Christ.
Moses was the body of Christ.
A mind of FLESH (Satan, lies, deceptions, falsehoods) rules our body (of Christ).
When Christ rebukes Satan (lies, deception, falsehoods) he is bring HIS BODY (us) into subjection to TRUTH.
Mosses, with his mind of flesh, didn't think he was up to the task to be a god ( Exodus 7:1) over pharaoh, Christ rebuked Mosses (Satan, lies, deception,,]falsehoods) and caused him to have knowledge of the TRUTH, Mosses was only the BODY that contained the Spirit of Christ, who would be the god over pharaoh.
Matthew 16:23 ...and he turned, and said unto Peter, get thee behind me, Satan ...
A mind that is OF THE FLESH is in direct opposition to the MIND OF CHRIST, therefore a MIND OF FLESH is ANTI-CHRIST, or a mind of Satan, lies, deceptions and falsehoods.
At the time Mosses and Peter were rebuked, there was a war for their BODY, Christ through the WORK of HIS SPIRIT, cast out the one (Satan, lies, deception, falsehoods) contending for their body, which is CHRIST BODY.
Christ rebukes Satan, our mind of Flesh, controlled by lies, deception, and falsehoods, and we become a new creation, with the mind of Christ, learning that we are the BODY that contains the Spirit of God, who WILL BE the god over this world.
13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
17 Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
I suppose we all may know someone who professes to be a Christian who falls down at the altar at the front of the church expressing humility and devotion to Christ but who in his private life has treated the wife of his youth abominably. Some have even divorced the wife of their youth to marry a younger girl who pleases him physically.
Luke 23:29, Isaiah 54:1, these scriptures exist too. When other women say._..
Luke 1:25, 1 Samuel 1:6, women have cruelly mocked other women many times over this issue & others.
Remember GOD justifies Romans 8:33, Psalms 22:24, be encouraged sis
Proverbs 16:9, Romans 5:1, James 2:22-25,
However the root argument sometimes stem from situational issues of choice which people may be referring to Genesis 38:6-10, then continued reading Tamar was considered "more righteous" Genesis 38:26, pursuing offspring of her dead husbands lineage, which was significant either in justification, reward or preplanned destiny. Matthew 1:3, Genesis 38:29, she is written in the documentation of Jesus lineage. Hebrews 11,

There is TWO RESURRECTIONS; the resurrection of the saints, both those of the old testament (at Christ resurrection) and those that are born again (that share in Christ resurrection, so they never see death).
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth (all those that died before Christ resurrection and those not chosen in the AGE of grace) shall awake, some to (age of the ages) life (those in the FIRST RESURRECTION), and some to shame and (age of the ages) contempt (SECOND RESURRECTION).
You can NEVER understand the prophecies without understanding there are TWO RESURRECTIONS.
...Instruct the tithing of money; AKA, monetary tithing.
...Address New Testament Believers.
...Authorize any New Testament minister to collect tithes in any form.
...Require a Gentile to tithe.
...Require any tithe to be surrendered off the Land of Israel.
...Assign any tithe given to anyone by God, including the tithe given to the Tribe of Levi, to any person under the New Testament.
...Promise great wealth to any individual.
...Address any individual, but rather the Nation of Israel.
...Provide curses against any Christian for not tithing.
Anyone referring to Malachi 3:10, or any other scripture speaking of tithing, as authorization to collect tithes from anyone under the New Testament, IS A LIAR.
>>> The Short Version; concerning the Book of Malachi.
MALACHI CANNOT BE USED TO INSTRUCT ANY CHRISTIAN TO TITHE...
> Malachi 1:1 - Malachi is speaking to the Nation of Israel, not the New Testament Church.
"The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi."
> Malachi 1:6 - Malachi is speaking to the Nation of Israel and the corrupt Priests of Aaron that despise God's name, not the New Testament Church.
"...saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name."
> Malachi 2:1 - The command to bring a portion of the Temple tithe to the Temple storehouses to support the porters and singers is to the corrupt Priests of Aaron, not the New Testament Church.
"And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you." (cross ref. Nehemiah 10:37-39).
> Malachi 3:9 - This verse makes is very clear that the God robbers were from the Nation of Israel, not the New Testament Church.
"Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation." Note: "THIS whole nation (the Nation of Israel who Malachi is addressing)," not the New Testament Church. The New Testament Church is NOT the Nation of Israel. Also, the Nation of Israel were called by God to return to Him, which for p
Brother Adam, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.
The Word says MOST will see DEATH, not HELL.
The WAGES of sin (unbelief) is DEATH, the sins of the flesh are COVERED by the DEATH of Christ.
The WAGES of go and sin no more (belief) are IMMORTALITY (never ending LIFE in Christ, I AM truth and life).
All that ARE NOT TRANSLATED (you are born again BY the word of God) into the Kingdom of God (messengers of Spirit, with never ending LIFE, never ending TRUTH) WILL be raised back into their bodies of FLESH and JUDGED.
Malachi 2:7 For the (kingdom) priest's lips shall keep knowledge, and they (kingdom priest)that seek the law at his (the WORD's) mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of host.
Isaiah 26:9 ....with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy JUDGEMENTS are in the EARTH, the inhabitants OF THE WORLD will LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
His judgements are not NOW in the EARTH; he is calling out of this world those CHOSEN to be kings and priest in his kingdom to RULE and JUDGE the world.
After this happens and judgement comes, every knee will bow and every tongue will CONFESS HE IS LORD.
Confession is made unto salvation.
Traditions of man limits God's plan.
God WILL NOT BE LIMITED, His WILL, WILL BE DONE.

Part 2
God made Jesus Lord, Acts 2:36, made is thee Greek word ginomai that means to come into being, to happen, to become. This was foreordained before the foundation of the world and this Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, 1 Peter 1:19-20 Revelation 13:8, foreordained the Greek word proginosko means to know beforehand to appoint or decree beforehand.
I see too many Scriptures that do not agree with the doctrine. I hope this makes sense. This is Scripture without man's knowledge or wisdom 1 Corinthians 1:22 Jeremiah 10:10 10 Malachi 2:10 Mark 12:32
Paul wrote these; Romans 3:30 Romans 15:6 1 Corinthians 8:6 2 Corinthians 1:3 2 Corinthians 11:31 Ephesians 1:3 Ephesians 1:17 Ephesians 3:14 Ephesians 4:6 Colossians 1:3 1 Timothy 2:5
Peter wrote this; 1 Peter 1:3
These are Jesus's words Himself; Matthew 27:46 Same in Mark 15:34 John 14:28 John 17:3 John 20:17 Revelation 3:12

It's interesting that you have Yehvh, lhym, and dn 'dn being represented as the same individual in these passages and if you add Mark 1:1-4 Matthew 3:3 and John 1:14-29.
Jesus showed up as a member of the Elohim.

Cont.

Psalms 38, Psalms 40, Psalms 51, David sought after GOD
However, David didn't get away with anything, without consequences: 2Samuel 12, because of the severity of his sin as stated by Nathan in 2Samuel 12, the "sword did not depart" from his house._._

As you read in Malachi 3:6 GOD is true to his promises, & left a remnant
It's important to understand the Biblical laws of marriage were given to Moses for Israel & "the Children of GOD" John 1:12, also Romans 8, relevant.
These laws are for GOD fearing, believers, a guideline for what's best.

Israel agreed to that, in Deuteronomy 27,
Look also at Ezekiel 21,

I would like to add Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
I also like Malachi 2:17- Malachi 3:1.
"Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?

Now fast forward to where the prophecy was fulfilled.
Mark 1:1-3. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

God bless, you, and keep you!

I love you
Christ is the ANGEL OF THE LORD.
Hebrews 11,

John 8:31, Matthew 27:11, John 18:33, Revelation 7:5
Daniel 12:1 And at that time: (prophecy) the coming ministry of Christ, in the FLESH for forty two months; afterwards the ministry of CHRIST THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT; which has been going on now for two thousand years.
Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael: Michael is the MESSENGER (angel) of GOD; CHRIST is the MESSENGER (angel) of GOD. Michael is Christ and Christ is Michael.
Malachi 2:7 For the priest's (Christ is our high priest) lips shall keep knowledge, and they (priest's lips) shall seek the law at his mouth (Christ mouth): for he (Christ) is the MESSENGER (angel) of the Lord.
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel (messenger of the Lord).....
Revelation 12:7 ....Michael (CHRIST, messenger of the Lord) and his angels (ministering Spirits, messengers)......
Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael (Christ) stand up, the great prince (Christ) which standeth for the children of thy (God's) people: and there shall be a time of trouble (has been going on now for two thousand years), such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time (when you can enter into the kingdom of God) thy people shall be delivered (saved from death and the grave), every one (chosen to be a priest) that shall be written (IN CHRIST) in the book (IN the WORD, IN CHRIST).
You can NEVER understand the prophecies without understanding there are TWO RESURRECTIONS.
...Instruct any Christian to tithe.
...Instruct the tithing of money; AKA, monetary tithing.
...Address New Testament Believers.
...Authorize any New Testament minister to collect tithes in any form.
...Require a Gentile to tithe.
...Require any tithe to be surrendered off the Land of Israel.
...Assign any tithe given to anyone by God, including the tithe given to the Tribe of Levi, to any person under the New Testament.
...Promise great wealth to any individual.
...Address any individual, but rather the Nation of Israel.
...Provide curses against any Christian for not tithing.
I John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father SENT the SON (THE WORD) to be saviour of the world.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my WORD (the SON) be that goeth out of my (the Father's) mouth: it (my WORD, my SON) shall not return unto me VOID (incomplete or unfinished WORK), but it (my WORD, my SON) shall ACCOMPLISH that which I PLEASE, and it (my WORD, my SON) shall prosper in the thing whereto I SENT IT.
1 Corinthians 15:28 When ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN SUBDUED unto him, then shall the Son himself be subject to him who put ALL THINGS under him, that God (SPIRIT, LIFE, TRUTH) may be ALL IN ALL.
You can't RULE and REIGN with CHRIST if you don't BELIEVE Christ is going TO BE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.
Here's a few that is over looked.
Hosea 5:14-15. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
Look below at verse 15, The same "I" in verse 14 is the same "I" in verse 15. and He in verse 15 is a prophesy of Christ after his ministry and his 2nd coming.
Verse 15: I WILL GO AND RETURN TO MY PLACE, TILL THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OFFENCE, AND SEEK MY FACE: IN THEIR AFFLICTION THEY WILL SEEK ME EARLY.
Here's another.
Isaiah 40:3-5 . The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT IN THE DESERT A HIGHWAY FOR "OUR GOD".
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Malachi 2:17. YE HAVE WEARIED THE LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,
( WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?)
Next verse-
Malachi 3:1. BEHOLD, ("I") WILL SEND "MY" MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: ( AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK,) shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. ( This is easily established that this is God speaking, )
God came as mentioned, "JESUS" and John the baptist prepared the way for him.
( EMMANUEL.) -God with us.
Matthew 1:23.
See here In Matthew 11:10. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
God bless.
