Mishael I do read Israeli news and I have read their writings and that is why I know what they do.

They teach Jesus is the most evil antisemite who ever lived, not Hitler. what does that make his followers?

    Why do they teach this?

Jesus speaking to the Pharisee Jews - Jesus in the Bible book of John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

    48 Then answered the Jews

    Then answered the Jews

    Then answered the Jews

    Then answered the Jews

pretty obvious who Jesus called of their father the DEVIL.

Matthew 23:15 - Jesus speaks: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees (Jews) , hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

DO JEWS LOVE JESUS OR ARE THEY CURSED?

If you would preach the gospel like you do the state of The Jews in 2020; everybody sitting on the fence of indecision would get saved and born again.

It is not for Christians to judge and condemn the Jewish people. That is Almighty Gods job. Why are you trying to do Gods work?

The unsaved will know us by the LOVE we have for the brethern.

They're not going to get saved by the sight of a chihuahua on top of the doghouse barking it's head off.

Do you read daily news from Israel? There are plane loads of Jews who had been exiled in other countries, arriving in Israel, daily!!!

They have papers; relatives that live in Israel. See? That's Gods work to get them back home.

I've told you that we are Gentiles. We're waiting on fullness. We were told to follow Jesus. Go ye. Yes you are quoting scripture, but you spend too much time broadcasting Jewish sins with a bullhorn.

You're a force to be reckoned with. That's Good! If you preached on spiritual warfare.. you'd have demons splat all over the walls in prayer request room.

today is my birthday, yippee kiyay
  • Revelation 916-18 on Plagues from AsiaChina on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
These are the plagues that origins were in China or Asian countries. Look at the death totals. The scriptures describe 3 Pandemics or Pestilences. We need to be aware and be smart about avoiding infection until a vaccine can be developed. The Bible warned us prophetically thousands of years ago.

    FLU PANDEMIC (1968)

    Death Toll: 1 million

    Cause: Influenza

A category 2 Flu pandemic sometimes referred to as "the Hong Kong Flu," the 1968 flu pandemic was caused by the H3N2 strain of the Influenza A virus, a genetic offshoot of the H2N2 subtype. From the first reported case on July 13, 1968 in Hong Kong, it took only 17 days before outbreaks of the virus were reported in Singapore and Vietnam, and within three months had spread to The Philippines, India, Australia, Europe, and the United States. While the 1968 pandemic had a comparatively low mortality rate (.5%) it still resulted in the deaths of more than a million people, including 500,000 residents of Hong Kong, approximately 15% of its population at the time.

    ASIAN FLU (1956-1958)

    Death Toll: 2 million

    Cause: Influenza

ASIAN FLU was a pandemic outbreak of Influenza A of the H2N2 subtype, that originated in China in 1956 and lasted until 1958. In its two-year spree, Asian Flu traveled from the Chinese province of Guizhou to Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States. Estimates for the death toll of the Asian Flu vary depending on the source, but the World Health Organization places the final tally at approximately 2 million deaths, 69,800 of those in the US alone.

    FLU PANDEMIC (1918)

    Death Toll: 20 -50 million

    Cause: Influenza

Between 1918 and 1920 a disturbingly deadly outbreak of influenza tore across the globe, infecting INFECTING OVER 1/3 OF THE WORLDS POPULATION and ending the lives of 20 - 50 million people. Of the 500 million people infected in the 1918 pandemic, the mortality rate was estimated at 10% to 20%, with up to 25 million deaths in the first 25 weeks alone.

Bob, thank you for your comments: I have seen your other posts elsewhere sharing your understanding on this. Yes, I do agree that the NT does not show the Heb. Yeshua, simply because it was written in Common Greek as Yesus, though I seem to understand your position is not simply on that point, but on a much stronger stance against the Jewish nation, that they are now the rejected forever - the Accursed. Therefore, the matter of using the Name Yeshua, is but one point in forming the larger picture you share.

I have read of the Noahide movement & of those who abide by those Laws & shun the Christ of the Bible, & as disgusting as that might be, it is no wonder that Satan will do whatever is in his power to distort & defame the Glory & Truth of Jesus Christ. So too, not just amongst many Jews, but also evident in every religion, to some degree. For the Jews as God's chosen, it becomes particularly sad, as they had long ago believed a lie & under pressure from the religious elite, succumbed to the wiles of Satan & now cut out from the olive tree. Yet, according to Rom 11:26,27:

"And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins."

Yes, the Kingdom of God was taken away from the Jews. But that was for a time, awaiting the fullness of the Gentiles to come in: Rom 11:7-21. They are indeed under a curse, but I still see a day coming when there will be a healing & restoration of Israel. However, I remember your comments elsewhere about the 'dilution or mixing' of Jewish blood which negates their purity; but how can we understand their 'invalidity' in the light of Scripture?

There are 5,000 Greek manuscripts of the new testament and ZERO Hebrew ones. Show me from the Bible YESHUa anywhere in the new testament and I know it does not exist.

Greek was the common language of business in the days of Jesus. Even many Romans knew Greek.

Alexander the Greek conquered the entire area and insured this happened. Alexandria Egypt was named for him.

Rome only recently conquered Israel prior to the days of Christ. Do you really think Pilate spoke to Jesus at the trial in Latin or Hebrew? Mostly likely they spoke Greek.

In Matthew 27:46 and 47 Jesus spoke Hebrew and the Jews did not even understand what he was saying.

Paul said this about this YESHUa stuff

Bible book of Titus 1:14 - Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?

A: Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I (Jesus speaking to the Jews) unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (So what nation spread the news of Jesus?)

Certainly not the Jews, so it was Greeks.

Corinthians, Ephesians, Thessalonians were all Greek churches in Greece who spread the gospel, not the Jews.

King James Bible book of John 5:16 - And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 7:1 - After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

DO JEWS LOVE JESUS OR ARE THEY CURSED?

If you want to call Jesus by a Hebrew name use Emmanuel / Immanuel since that name is in both new and old testaments.

People google this " NOAHIDE YESHU" see how they feel about Jesus

Bob, I think the question we would ask is, what did Jesus' parents, his siblings, disciples & the people call Him? It certainly wouldn't have been Jesus (English) or Yesus (Yay-soos - Gk). It was very likely 'Yeshua'. And I agree, 'Yeshu', could certainly not have been applied to Jesus by those who knew & loved Him, which as you know, is an acronym for a curse on Him: 'yimakh shemo ve zikhro = may his name & memory be obliterated. One day, they will see the One Whom they cursed & rejected, now high & lifted up, coming again in judgement against them, as God's Messiah.

So the matter is, whether for us who speak English & read from an English Bible, should it be compulsory to use 'Jesus' as opposed to the Greek or Hebrew? Or, by using 'Yeshua', have we done any disservice to the normal meaning & understanding of the Scriptures? A further question: do those who consistently use 'Yeshua', ever revert to using 'Jesus' at other times? And, Why?

At least, we know that the 'Yeshua' used by Hebrew speakers has the same meaning to the Messianic Jews though seen & used according to fulfilment to prophecies of Him. Unlike the 'Allah' in Islam/Arabic, which is difficult to equate to God (English), or Khuda (Urdu, amongst Christians), since the Doctrine of God can be quite different in its details. As too with 'Isa' in Islam/Arabic to 'Yesu' (Urdu, with Christians): different meaning again.

And yes, have we forgotten the Name, Emmanuel, which is so important especially in establishing the incarnation?
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Mark 16:15 - 4 years ago
Why do people ignore the name Emmanuel / Immanuel? it is in both the old and new testaments.

Yeshua or Jesus? Heresy or Hebrew roots? Is Yeshua a denial of our English Bible that was new testament that was written in Greek, not Hebrew. No one can show us from the Bible alone that Jesus was ever called YESHUA.

Luke Chapter 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

(Angel Gabriel gave JESUS his name from the Lord)

so by what scriptural authority does anyone have to call him YESHUa?

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his

    father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

YESHU is a curse that means may his name be blotted out. This is commonly used by those who claim to be Noahides.

They claim Noah was given a set of laws, yet they exist only in the minds of Rabbis. I can not find Noah being given any laws in my King James.

For the person who was looking for the answer to Abigail being called Nabal's wife, Chapter 25 explains that she was widowed because the Most High smote Nabal for not showing David hospitality and helping him.

Because she was not a virgin bride and the genealogy would be confused by using a different title, she is called Nabal's widow, who later married David. Does that make sense?

    David's wives so far:

Michal, Saul's daughter and first wife of David

Abigail, Nabal's widow, and the second wife of David

Ahinoam the Jezreelites, and the third wife of David

One can assume the other two brides were virgins at the time of marriage.

When you enter this website, use the search box on top and type in TONGUES. The engine will pull up ALL scriptures pertaining to tongues. I would click on the New Testament only, for this word.

The Holy Spirit is your Teacher. He helps us understand Biblical truths.

The gift of speaking in tongues that continues throughout church history and is so widespread today is the Holy Spirit-prompted ability to pray and praise God in a heavenly dialect, possibly even an angelic language that is not related to anything spoken on earth such as German or Swahili or Mandarin or English. The Holy Spirit personally crafts or creates a special and unique language that enables a Christian to speak to God in prayer, praise, and thanksgiving. This gift is not a human language that one might encounter in some foreign country, but a Spirit-empowered capacity to speak meaningful words that are only understood by the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (unless, of course, God provides the interpretation through the one speaking or through another believer.

The more you learn about the Holy Spirit's ministry to you, the more you will desire all that He has purposed for you. 1 Corinthians 12, teaches about all the gifts

(for believers). He knows where you are in your walk with God, and He will wait until you understand and desire His gifts. You should talk to Him and ask Him any questions about what you are learning through scripture. He responds to us through OUR inner spirit, where He indwells. His is the still small voice.

If you ever hear something that frightens you; that's the devil trying to prevent you from following Jesus. Just say: I rebuke you, satan, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Get thee hence.

If you'll scroll under the Search Box you'll see the Commentary Box; of Bible Teachers commentaries on that verse. Use the back arrow to get back to the Search box area.

    Hope this helps.

Water baptism is definitely needed. Read Mark 16:16. 1 Peter 3:18-20. Romans 6:3-8. There's more. Even the parting of the Red sea was a type of baptism. Same as Noahs Ark. Read it for yourself. It's all in the Bible. The Bible says you must be born again to SEE the kingdom. But water & the Spirit are needed to enter into the kingdom of God. In the book of Corinthian 11, it speaks of the heavenly language. It is a language that only God knows but it's me talking to him from my heart. If I know not what to pray then this is where the Ho!y Spirit comes in to help. So many ppl think they have the Holy Ghost but do not. Study what the Bible says. Do not go to a commentary for answers.Do not Go to YouTube for answers. Go to God. Many churches out there do not teach all truth. Only partial. This is a matter of making it to heaven or not. Take no chances. You will receive power once the Holy Ghost has come upon you. I speak the truth & you were told what I wrote is truth. Pray & ask God for the a revelation. Open your heart for truth. Baptism has always been in Jesus name from the early church days. Research that truth.

Mark 16:15 KJV says "... Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.". That is an order from God and even though it's hard to talk to people right now, we have electronics, we can still spread the gospel. We don't know what will happen or when so we need to tell people about God's word and what he did for all ( John 3:16) it woul be our fault if we knew someone was not saved and we didn't do anything about it and they go to hell to spend eternity.

Regarding baptism. Matthews 28:19 & 20, Jesus said: ...teach ALL nations, baptizing them ...Also, Mark 16:15 & 16 say: preach the gospel...he that believe and is baptized shall be saved. Baptism come before you are saved. Baptism is essential to salvation. Acts 2:37 & 38. 1 Peter 3:21 ... Baptism saves us. 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 tells us that "ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness ... Be blessed!

    Hello Trevor,

I greet you in name Our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope you're well.

I am a new Christian, I gave my life to Our Lord nearly 2 years ago and it's been the best thing I have ever done. I've had joy and peace in my life since then.

I was baptised many years ago, but because of my immaturity I went back to sin.

The answer to your question " how to get closer to The Messiah " First of all the bible says " For whoever shall call in the name of the Lord shall be saved" Rom 10:13

Believe, that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Then you have to be baptised.

Acts 2:38 Peter said, Repent, and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

A few more scriptures for you to look at:

    Ephesians 2:8-9

    2 Timothy 2:15

    1 John 1:9

    Romans 6:23

    1 John 5:13

    Mark 16:16

    Romans 10:9-10

Hope these scriptures will help and give you a good start to getting closer to Jesus Christ our Saviour.

God Bless you, and I will pray Trevor that you will get the wisdom & knowledge for God's Words.

Hi Bob: Thanks for clearing up the questions, I can see now what your asking, Before i can get into a discussion about the rapture before the tribulation, 1st let me ask you this question, Is God speaking to us Gentiles today in the Gospels Example is Jesus saying to us today in

Mark 16:15-20 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

    17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

We don't need baptism to be saved, Stan?

That all a part of the works trip religion?

Don't stop reading the Bible, Stan, for Peter says if you rest the scriptures you rest them to your own condemnation.

The more you read, the clearer it becomes. The more you don't read, the less clear it becomes.

Let's look at what the Spirit tells us about baptism in the scriptures:

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

"... even baptism doth now save us." I can't see how much clearer that could be said.

    But let's keep going:

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

In Mark 16-18, the Lord completed his work, life, here on earth, and is now sending his disciples to teach the Gospel to all human beings. Those that receive Christ the Lord, as their savior will receive the comforter and through him they will perform miracles here on earth. They are the chosen ones, whereby are inheritors with him of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The chosen, live their lives pleasing to God, they know what awaits them after this earthly life. Therefore, they want others to know about this heavenly kingdom which, surpasses all imagination according to the holy scriptures. In order to enter into the kingdom, it's like a spiritual passport given, in it there is faith, repentance, baptism, love and obedience to the word of God.

It is written, "If you love me, keep my commandments." In this spiritual passport, there is a connection of our spirit with the Lord's spirit, this is an overwhelming blessing. There's also, knowledge and virtue added to this wonderful gift. Amen.
