    Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are going through. I am so sorry for your loss. Trust in Christ to get you through this dark time in your life.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God has a purpose in all that happens. We may not see it now, or ever for that matter. But He WILL use it for His Glory. Let your light shine through the darkness that He may be glorified. I'm praying for you.

People could demonstrate proof of God...

All Christians need to heed the bible when it comes to proving to an unbeliever of GOD/Jesus Christ existence in this universal.

Let this be your warning.. (It is not your problem, Jesus didn't do it so why should you step into those shoes) Stop trying to fill a void that is not possible to fill. Everyone is not GOD's children.

    Jesus requires Faith to Do/Move/Be/Humble/Surrender,etc.

Here are bible verses to back that up.

    Matthew 4: 2-4

And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Satan is asking for proof)

    Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

    Matthew 9:27-29

crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

28And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

    Matthew 11:3-6

And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

4Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:

5The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

6And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

So you see.. Jesus only needs you to do the job, that he asked all of us to do.

    1. Follow the 10 Commandments

    2. Believe in Jesus Christ

    2. Have Faith

    3. Do the work

Your Job to an unbeliever is only to tell them about Christ and be prepared to explain in detail why you believe.

    All else is vanity.

Ludie Smith Mathew 11 verse 12 Before John the baptist there is a 4-500 year gap where there was

no men of God taking a stand. The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence or is always under attack, the

adversary Is always accusing Gods people who take stand on His Word.

The enemies primary purpose is to eventually shut up or stop Gods

Word from being held forth, which is why he thought eliminating Jesus Christ was all he had to do.

Jesus held a great regard for Johns ministry. They were cousins. Mary and Elizabeth were related.

    Luke 7:28

For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

    Matthew 11:11

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

    John 13:16

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

    Luke 7:34

The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

    Matthew 11:19

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

    Wesley's Notes for LUKE 7:34

7:34 But wisdom is justified by all her children - The children of wisdom are those who are truly wise unto salvation. The wisdom of God in all these dispensations, these various methods of calling sinners to repentance, is owned and heartily approved by all these.

    Wesley's Notes for MATTHEW 11:19

11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking - Conversing in a free, familiar way. Wisdom is justified by her children - That is, my wisdom herein is acknowledged by those who are truly wise.

People's Bible Notes for MATTHEW 11:19The Son of man came eating. Like other men. He was at the wedding feast of Cana (Joh 2:2); at Matthew's feast, ( Mt 9:10), etc. A winebibber. There was nothing singular about his social habits. Like all the people, he drank the light, harmless wine of Palestine, either free from, or with a very slight percentage of, alcohol. Our modern wines are very different. A friend of tax collectors and sinners. See notes on Mt 9:12,13. Wisdom is justified of her children. Those who are wise will approve both the course of John and his Lord.

Good morning Jennifer, I'm so very sorry for your loss. 2 Timothy 1:12 b this load is to heavy for you, commit it to Christ, and He will carry your load. I have proved it true. Isaiah 53:4,5 and Matthew 11:25-28. Give yourself time to mourn, but when thoughts crowd in with "if only, would've ,should've, say no! That's God's business, He will carry you and give you strength for your small children. He will carry you close to His heart like a shepherd does a lamb, leave it with Him He is able. You are in my prayers.

    Dear Sister Jennifer,

So sorry for the loss of your daughter. Please trust in God, read your bible and He will strengthen you, and your faith will grow, and He will give you rest during this time of heavy burden. Here's some bible scripture that you may find comforting:

    Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

    Psalms 147:3

"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."

    Psalms 73:26

"My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."

    Psalms 34:22

"The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate."

    God Bless.

There is a difference between the SUN and the Light. Genesis 1:3, 1:14-17. Revelation 21:23, Revelation 12:1-2. MINISTRY OF THE TWO ELIJAS

Many have stumbled over the Ministry of John the Baptist and Malachi 4:5-6. For some reasons:

    They do not know their ministries;

    John the Baptist Ministry:

1:17And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

    Malachi 4:5-6 Ministry:

Malachi 4:6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

    Similarities in these ministries

John The Baptist Foreran the First Coming of Jesus Christ.

Malachi 3:1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Matthew 11:9-10

Malachi 4:5-6 Foreruns the Second coming of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 17: 11And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Revelation 10:7

    Differences

John the Baptist was he voice of one crying in the wilderness.

    Mark 1:3

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John 10:41

    Malachi 4:4-6

His ministry was to carry the Gift of Divine healing and Revealing the mysteries hid in the bible before the second coming.

Malachi 4:2But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. JOEL 2:31, MALACHI 4:6, REV 10:7

NOW IF ANYBODY COMES TO TELL US ABOUT REPETANCE WE KNOW THAT, THAT WAS THE MINISTRY OF JOHN THE BAPIST.IF SOMEONE COMES AND CLAIM TO BE ELIJAH OF MALACHI 4:5-6 WITHOUT THE MINISTRY OF DIVINE HEALING BUT SUBSTITUTES

Solomon's up bringing by his father David gave him a love for the Lord. The next generation can only learn to love the Lord through the deliberate reading, teaching and learning who God is from Scripture. To learn to love Him, and learning to trust and pray to the Lord. We must also teach the next generation how to wait on the Lord.

The first thing Solomon did was to worship the Lord at the altar and offered up 1,000 sacrifices to the Lord. The Lord God appears before Solomon and blesses him with wisdom, wealth, and peace at the borders.

Solomon used the wisdom he received from God to build up the country to the majesty befitting a country whose God is the Lord. Matthew 11:28-30; Matt 6:33

If you follow Jesus you will listen to what he says in scripture:

    Matthew 11:29

"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

If we want God's Grace (Reward) we must become humble as the apostle relates below:

    1 Peter 5:5

"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."

    1 Peter 5:6

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

Humility is better than gold. We can't buy humility, but we can pray REAL REAL REAL HARD for it, and hope the Holy Sprit blesses us with it!

    Dear Brother IMKane,

You stated: " The problem I've encountered with most self-identified Christians on this site is they may read the Scripture, but they do not study it, and the few who do study it, don't rightly divide it."

Aren't you making a broad brush stroke of judgment on some people here that you really don't even know? You don't know who studies, how they study, and how long they have studied the Bible etc. etc.

    A very important scripture:

    Matthew 7:1

"Judge not, that ye be not judged."

You seem to me, to fancy yourself as a biblical Expert and Teacher. If so, I will share a few additional scripture that may help you along the way. Jesus and Moses were two of the greatest people who ever lived. Both were chosen by God to be distributors/teachers of His law.

Surely we should seek to be like these men.

    Numbers 12:3

"(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)"

    Matthew 11:29

"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Lastly, I've only been on this site for a short time, but as far as I know, this is a Bible discussion site available to all people wishing to discuss Bible topics and to communicate and pray along with fellow Christians. There will be many disagreements regarding Bible interpretation, but most people here, including myself hope to increase our knowledge, and grow closer to God.

I pray that the scripture that I've shared with you will be helpful in some way to you.

    God Bless.

Pedophilia people, zoophilia people, furries gays, and clothing optonal people are not Sodomites. They are wanting one person to be a condeming judge.

    Proverbs 3:32-34

    King James Version

32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous. Genesis 19:9 9And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. 2 Peter 2:7

"And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:"

King James Version. Proverbs 3:32: For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous." People are froward - forceful with their words and actions to spesific people. Matthew 11:12

"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." People are forceful toward the people I mentioned. Islamic People don't like what I teach. The catholic church does not say what I teach. Pedophilia people are not like either one of them. Whatever you do unto the least of these my brethren, you are doing it unto me. Romans 12:2

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." People s think God's will is: You are associated with that name: die, or you are a pedophile or a sex offender, when a young person just so happens to see parts, that made their life to be a reality.,

Winford, I know how you feel. Just don't give up. God does listen to all of our prayers. We can pray for others to be saved. Stir yourself up. Jesus came to seek and to save. This is for you, and all those with unsaved loved ones and friends.

You can keep someone lifted up in front of Gods throne. I believe these verses show that Gods thoughts toward us, can turn us back.

    Jeremiah 29

11 For I know the thoughts that I THINK toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find Me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I believe in the prayers of mothers and grandparents! My grandmother sent me love letters with scriptures, saying Jesus loves me, and so did she. I would remember those letters.

An angel woke me from hangover every morning saying: if you don't stop, you will leave your child without one parent.

Yes I believe in Prodigal sons and daughters. The Bible says he CAME TO HIS SENSES. He was face down fixing to eat hog food. He had nothing left except need. Every step on that road screamed defeat, stupid, loser! (The Accuser).

He made it to Daddy. ABBA.

I'm praying hard for some people who are the hardest heads and hearts I know. We have to shake Heaven with our prayers! I know some day I am going to receive a good report. I know it! I know it I know it!

Those altars they have in Israel are solid. I can see it in scripture. Well we need to grab on it, lay on it, soak it in tears, sleep beside it; wake up and shake Heaven again.

Did John the Baptist pray? (Red letters)

Matthew 11:12 ...the Kingdom of Heaven suffers Violence, and the Violent TAKE IT BY FORCE.

Jesus said that. IF we want to shake out a blessing; get with it. Grab onto the horns of that altar and give birth to a miracle.

    Amen Brother Dan.

Here's a few that is over looked.

Hosea 5:14-15. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

Look below at verse 15, The same "I" in verse 14 is the same "I" in verse 15. and He in verse 15 is a prophesy of Christ after his ministry and his 2nd coming.

Verse 15: I WILL GO AND RETURN TO MY PLACE, TILL THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OFFENCE, AND SEEK MY FACE: IN THEIR AFFLICTION THEY WILL SEEK ME EARLY.

    Here's another.

Isaiah 40:3-5 . The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT IN THE DESERT A HIGHWAY FOR "OUR GOD".

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Malachi 2:17. YE HAVE WEARIED THE LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,

( WHERE IS THE GOD OF JUDGMENT?)

    Next verse-

Malachi 3:1. BEHOLD, ("I") WILL SEND "MY" MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: ( AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK,) shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. ( This is easily established that this is God speaking, )

God came as mentioned, "JESUS" and John the baptist prepared the way for him.

    ( EMMANUEL.) -God with us.

    Matthew 1:23.

See here In Matthew 11:10. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

    God bless.

Hello William. We're not given the answer to your question, but one can only surmise from the details already provided in Matthew chapter 3 & Matthew 11:2-6 specifically.

From those Scriptures, I believe that John the Baptist knew that Jesus was his cousin. They would have certainly known each other & probably played together as children. When John was led into his ministry by the Lord, he was found in the wilderness of Judaea & in the Jordan area baptizing. So it seems that both he & Jesus may have lost contact with each other for some years, until their coming together in Matthew 3:13. It appears John recognized his cousin at this point, but sadly in Matthew 11, we see an imprisoned John sending out two of his disciples to enquire whether this Worker of miracles was indeed the Christ or if there was another he should be expecting. Whether John was unsure that it was his cousin doing those miracles that he was hearing of, or whether John, in prison, started to weary in faith & hope to have asked such a question, we're not told. John may have questioned in himself, why he was still in prison when the Messiah who had the power to secure his release, was ministering elsewhere - didn't Jesus have some pity for him? We just don't know & I can only offer this for your thoughts & discernment. Though, yes, I believe that they were both fully aware of their family connections.

My humble comment pertains to the response to Jayden by Robert regarding Matthew 11:28 posted 11 months ago....... Thanks and Blessings! Robert, you have provided much insight, and it brings a particular question from my pea brain. Who was it to say, or how was it that it was determined that there should be the Old Testament and the New Testament? It's almost as if it is to keep a form of division or divisiveness or maybe just a simple form of visual separation between the teachings of Jews and the teachings of Christians showing where humankind was and where humankind is to be....... to be one with GOD, from the Beginning, through the HIS Gift of Life to us through JESUS CHRIST, The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The Ending as is written in The Book of Revelation 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." Personally, I have said to people that it appears to me that life before JESUS was so very, very complicated, and JESUS IS LIFE through a much less complicated WAY, and as it is written in John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." All I can say is JESUS I trust in YOU and only YOU....... Hallelujah! Oh yes, these words are inspired by The HOLY SPIRIT! Praise GOD Almighty! Thanks and Blessings!

    Mark,

It's hard to answer that in that we don't know what a person might be going through that would cause them to take their own life. I don't think God satisfaction in a person taking their own life. Most of it comes from going through some type of hardship that the individual cannot handle themselves. Even believers can be some of the most miserable people. I've been around believers who were miserable because of life's circumstances. I think it comes from not being able to fully trust the Lord when we are faced with a tough time in our life. The bible says in 1 Peter 5:5-8 that we are to cast all our cares on the Lord. Why? Because He's fully capable of handling our problems. But there are times when we in our own human effort try and resolve our own problems, and they often time become worse, even to the point to where the person gives up and is no longer trusting the Lord in their situation.

There's a word used throughout the New Testament. It's the word MERIMNA for care, anxiety, and worry. The verb form is MERIMNAO which means to be anxious, or to be troubled. It describes anything that occupies the attention of our mind. Peter presents this word as the only weapon Satan has against a believer in Christ. It's normal to go through life and be concerned, have anxiety, and even stress. That's just a normal part of life that we are all faced with. But we are taught to cast all our cares (MERIMNA) on the Lord, and not let those cares or anxieties overcome us. We're not to be so consumed by our hardships to where we are no longer trusting in the Lord.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:30, "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." People struggle because they try and fix things that are designed for only God to fix. But Jesus says to come to Him and He will give us rest. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. But we let life's difficulties (MERIMNA) stand in between us and Christ. We struggle because we are not ready to hand it over to Christ!

Brother Norman and others. Just wanted to share. This prophesy speaks of the arrival of John the Baptist, who was actually Elijah. Christ plainly states in Matthew 11:11-14 and reiterates in Matthew 17;10-13 that John the Baptist was Elijah. Notice the similarity in appearance. Elijah was distinguished as a "hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins" ( 2 Kgs. 1:8). John the Baptist was not a hairy man; however, he had "his raiment of camel's hair and a leathern girdle about his loins" ( Matt. 3:3).

This was not reincarnation, for "it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment" ( Heb. 9:27). However, Elijah never died; his spirit was quickened to be returned seven hundred years later to introduce and baptize the Messiah.

    May God bless!

    The 70 th Week

    Part 3

Jesus confirmed the last 3.5 years through His apostles ending when Stephen was killed, Paul was converted, Peter had his dream the conformation to Judah ended and the gospel was sent to the Gentiles. This fulfills the 70=weeks 490/483 years

We have been told to study, we are told to test the spirits, trust our teacher the Holy Spirit and pray. These are the six things that were determined on Judah and the holy city Jerusalem, a few verses that may help see if this has been fulfilled by Jesus.

    1. To finish the transgression ( Isaiah 53:5, 8) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Hebrews 9:15-18)

    2. To make an end of sins ( Matthew 1:21) ( Hebrews 10:8-11) ( John 1:29) ( 1 Corinthians 15:3)

    ( 1 John 3:5) ( Psalm 32) ( Romans 8:3)

    3. To make reconciliation for iniquity ( Colossians 1:20-22) ( Isaiah 53:6) ( Isaiah 53:11) ( Ephesians 2:16) ( Titus 2:14) ( 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

    4. To bring in everlasting righteousness ( Romans 5:17-21) ( Romans 3:21-26) ( 1Peter 2:24)

    ( 2 Corinthians 5:21) ( Isaiah 61:10-11)

    5. To seal up vision and prophecy ( Daniel 9:23) ( John 6:27) ( Mark 1:14-15) ( Acts 3:18)

    ( John 5:36-40) ( Matthew 11:11-15)

    6. To anoint the most holy ( Hebrews 8:1-12) ( Hebrews 9:6-14)

The 70 th week has been used along with other Bible verses to paint a fantastic picture of end times. The pre, mid, or post rapture of the Church, an antichrist, 7-year tribulation, 3.5-year covenant with Israel, a third temple, abomination of desolation, 3.5 years great tribulation after breaking covenant, and more. Many of these teachings started in the late 1600s. I hope this helps, if this prophecy has been fulfilled, it will show the falsehoods of these teachings because without using part of the 70 weeks prophecy given to Daniel, these teachings will fall apart.

Acts.3:18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

    Hi GIGI.

I believe a way to put us are WE covered by the blood of Christ as the children of Israel was covered by the Lambs blood on the door post in Egypt. WE CAN'T COME INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD IN THIS FALLEN STATE WE'RE IN. ( A Sinner).

There may be different sin that brings different results, like fornication ( sin against the body) ect. but all sinners that don't come to Christ will suffer the same fate.

A unbeliever is already dead under the penalty of sin, Christ came to pay the ransom and take that charge off us by way of the cross.

NOTICE THE SINGLE PENALTY AND CHARGE THAT IS MENTIONED BELOW.

Romans 5:11-12. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Wherefore, as by ONE MAN SIN ENTERED into the world, AND DEATH BY SIN; ( and so death passed upon all men, ) for that all have sinned:

John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the "SIN" of the world.

NOW CONTINUING TO REJECT TRUTH OR REBEL AGAINST TRUTH OR CORRECTION BY MEANS OF THE LIGHT OF SCRIPTURE CAN BE DANGEROUS.

I think God Judge the heart of every individual and his tolerance may vary but he will not pardon the guilty.

Here's a couple of examples in regards to a few countries.

Matthew 11:21-24. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

ALL SIN IS DEALT WITH BY CHRIST OR YOU.

    GOD BLESS.

    Hi Marine Wife

You said: "They are three in one, not three different persons."

See, what prevails is the Word of GOD. The Word is GOD.

1 John 5:v. 7 - There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father (GOD, the Father), the Word (the Word made flesh-JESUS), and the Holy Spirit (who is not a ghost as is written in English language), but a Person - the Comforter): and these three are One.

JESUS said: I and my Father are One- John 10:v.30. Two distincts Persons, but both are One.

Concerning the Person of the Holy Spirit (he is not a ghost as is written in English language), JESUS said: John 16:v.12-15: - 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for He shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Matthew 11:v.27 - No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son,

and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

in Matthew 11:11 Jesus says, referencing John the Baptist, "Notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." Was John not in the kingdom of heaven? When was the kingdom come? Before Jesus' death on the Cross, was the kingdom of heaven not here? Thank you.

For any who are looking at theories on how it ends. There is a fantastic picture that has been painted and taught since the early 1800s and is taken from Daniel 9:27 to create the last week (7 years). The entire theory and all that is taught that will happen hinges on taking the last week/7 years from this 70-week prophecy.

This prophecy was determined on Daniel's people (house of Israel) and the holy city (Jerusalem).

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

If Jesus fulfilled what was determined in this prophecy, does that make this entire theory and all that is taught in this theory untrue?

How will it change the picture if the 70th week in the book of Daniel has been fulfilled?

    What is our blessed hope?

We have been told to study, trust our teacher the Holy Spirit and pray.

These are the six things that were determined, and a few verses that may help your study.
