Verse 15~God wants us to not only see and hear his Word, but to obey his Word.

As the earth brings forth fruit of herself, so is man to his reflection. We must not only prepare our hearts for the planting of the good seed, but must labor to maintain it until the harvest; for the enemy will always come behind us to sow his evil seeds and cause his weeds to come up everywhere; and neglect will ruin the ground. He that is of God will hear God's words and receive and do them.

Such a man only fears the eyes of men, and knows not that the eyes of the Lord are ten thousand times brighter than the sun, beholding all the ways of men, and considering the most secret parts. Behold, the Lord knows all the works of men, their imaginations, their thoughts, and their hearts: there is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves: no disciple.

Servant; "Discretion is the better part of valor!" When you are on the internet you have to be very careful not only for yourself and your family, but also for all others you might put in danger by certain kinds of talk. I have tried myself to be direct in naming different kinds; but this is not the format, nor is it in love, nor at all right to volunteer the folks here to unnecessary persecution.

I know. St John's Revelation lays it out pretty good. The signs being clear that one shall come into power speaking in glowing terms but deceiving the people, for he is a liar and the father of it. I see it and reveal him on this site but they won't publish it. It is because the born again were the first to be swayed for he promised to enact their polictical designs. Still, despite his threat

The sower and his seed is the greatest of the parables as Jesus said know ye not this parable how then shall ye know all parables, its his seed that is gonna be sown in us resulting in a birth of Christ in us which is the Child/Babe that is gonna lead us into all truth. These things are HID from the wise and prudent but REVEALED UNTO BABES, its his seed that is gonna form christ IN US,THE BABES

Vs.19 says that they could not understand the word sewn by Jesus. The next 2 received it but fell aside. Only the 4th brought forth fruit. This chapter is about predestination Rom.8:29-30) It is God who gives the ability to receive and understand the word randomly established before He created the earth. Jesus told the Jewish leaders that they can't understand as they were not of God - destined

Disciple your wrong! 2 of EVERY FLESH on boat. Matthew 13:36-44 has Satan sending his children to earth, his followers that trailed after him in the first earth age and he sends his tares which are kenites. Cains descendants got on the boat because not only dose the word of God says it but God has all his children going through this test of the age of flesh to give everyone of them a chance.

the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven are 1 and the same....jesus uses the kingdom of heaven in matt's. parable of the sower, but kingdom of God in mark and luke's parable of the sower, so they are 1 and the same, there is only 1 bridegroom and 1 bride and 1 God ....thus there can be only 1 kingdom

All the parables go together to make the whole message. The various aspects of how a man hears, and what he hears, and what determines his being either good or bad; is not at all something left to chance; (as if we should just accept everyone for what they are, or what they are confused about); but is entirely because of our own willingness and obedience to the Glad Tidings. We are accountable!

It basically means you can't change yourself or another person till they have matured. In unconsciousness we have accidentally gotten bad seeds within ourselves. When we ripen and gain maturity, only then may the bad be separated and only the good kept. So accept yourself and others unconditionally until you and them are matured and ready.

Hi Grace; You asked, "What is the difference between kingdom of God and kingdom of heaven?" I think the difference is simply in the words themselves, and not different things. What I mean is, that the kingdom of God; let's say, as opposed to the kingdoms of men; and the kingdom of heaven, as that which is high above all that we know just now as of the earth and this world: it is the world to come!

V13, Jesus did not teach that God would be appearing with him when he returns to earth.
Yes, Jesus will return and with angels to help him. Matthew 13:4 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, ."
They are collecting people not hurting people. Separating the good. No one can see God at any time and live, His energy is intense.
  • Insight777 on Matthew 13 - 7 years ago
V52 is important. Jesus tells us the Bible, written by scribes is impartial, telling us both what has been believed in the past and what will be revealed in the future. That is why Jesus asked his followers if they understood him. Follow only Jesus as he walked the earth, that is true understanding of salvation. Everything else is letting someone else have control of your life.

An essential chapter of Jesus' ministry, with the wheat(children who seek after truth) and tares(children who seek worldly fortune). Only 1/4 of the seed comes to fruition, but it is not predetermined necessarily, otherwise why would God sent us his messengers. The key verse is 15/32 which tells us to read the whole bible for context(brings forth old and new. Notice Jesus refers to Issiah

Matthew 13:27 "He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man." Son of man is Jesus. Some versions capitalize "Man"=God. Anyone else agree it should be cap. M just for the sake of clarity? In case anyone was wondering; when it reads "son of man" it is not Christ.

Disciple our Lord Jesus explained the parable Himself from Matt. 13:27-42 where God sends His seed, children to earth and the wicked one Satan sends his tares, children to earth. It has nothing to do with our hearts receiving the word. No need to explain it. Christ spoke to these same ones in John 8:44-47 where He said you are of your father the devil.

"But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." We have to understand this in the same context as the Parable of the Sower: it is about OUR hearts receiving the word of God in the Glad Tidings; otherwise then; not only being hardened, with no depth, and choked out by the cares of this world; but being instead sown by the devil, to become his planting!

@ Word, I see that your eyes are wide open. As our Lord said, "Blessed are your eyes". Cain is the son of the devil ( Gen. 3 and 1 John ch. 3 v. 12), and Cain's children, the Kenites, are the tares. Their true identity is revealed in John ch. 8 (v. 44, specifically); Rev. ch. 2 v. 9 and Rev. ch. 3 v. 9. Any of them that refuse to accept The Savior Jesus Christ will be cast into the fire with Satan.

Anyone who studies scripture and concludes that the Son of man and antichrist are the same is very disturbed or under demonic deception. I pray to my heavenly Father, in Christ Jesus, asking God to have mercy on your soul and to heal you and save YOU according to His will. Amen Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Matthew 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Matthew 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

I love this chapter but the part that speaks loudest to me is the wheat and the tares, I believe this scripture speaks loud and clear to the church today. I believe that there are so many people in the church today that fit this scripture, and it is almost scary to think how many people in church today believe that they are a christian when in all actuality they are headed wide open to an eternity

Supernatural over-rides the Natural. Miracles are inevitable in a "Miracle-Ready Miracle-Receptive" environment. What stops a lot is: unbelief. Matthew 13:58
