"Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." I think it refers: - Matthew 16:23- ..."Get away from me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my way, because these thoughts of yours don't come from God, but from man." - From above verse it is clear that Satan also were there. -Hence "Some here" refers not Man, it refers "Satan" and who will not die until they have seen the Son of Man as King.

Simply put when Peter "declared" that Jesus was the Christ...the Son of the living God,Christ confirmed that Peter had received revelation "directly from God Himself" and "that" which come's directly from The Father Himself "is"the ROCK", immovable and the gate's of hell or no other entity can "EVER" prevail against what the Father...the Creator institute's...end of debate !!!

This verse is a continuation of thoughts from vs.69. In this verse David describe the heart of the wicked as being fat. He acknowledges them as prosperous without discernment. Many times when one lives in pleasure with all this world has to offer, they become dull to the things of God to the point rebellion. They simply have everything they could wish for. One thing that escapes them is the end of it all. Jesus asked the question in Matthew 16: "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul. " My mind goes to Psalms 73 where Asaph wrote concerning the wicked. In verses 1-12 his eyes were on the wicked and their prosperity. In verses 13-16 he had his eyes on self and his problems, however in verses 17-20 His eyes were fixed on God and His truth. He said I verse 17, " until I went into the sanctuary of God then understood I their end. It 's that understanding that drove David to God when the wicked prospered around him and he experienced trials. The law comforted David.

The Church will be taken out before the tribulation happens. Those fascinated with these signs will be deceived. The Christian is to walk by the Bible 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight: Look at what the Bible says, Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven for the heathen are dismayed at them. The Christian is not looking for signs like the Jews 1 Corinthians 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: The church will see tribulations which are hard times but not the wrath of the tribulation Revelation 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand? Look here 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Antichrist prevails against saints in the tribulation Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them but not the church Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Look for Jesus Christ to come for His church any minute not the signs for the Jews. Have a nice day.

Hi Annie verse 10 Jesus was letting Simon know that he was going to use him to catch men by showing them the way to truth that their souls may be saved. In Matthew 16: 18-19 Jesus told Peter which is Simon Peter that he was giving him the keys to the kingdom of heaven and as you read following Peter he told in Acts 2:36-47 what must we do to be saved and this is the key Jesus gave him which is true for all of us today until the end. Just keep reading, praying and seeking God for understanding . God Bless

Its very obvious that a true christian has nothing in common to do with the worldly people or materials because we are strangers on earth waiting and hoping for a new heaven and city which is to come. We are always expecting to be pure

A few things to take note of in this passage: first, if you 're living for God and doing His work don 't stress and worry about the worldly things of life food, clothing, shelter, MONEY! He 's got His hands on you and will provide these things for you. Second, He is once again claiming His authority as being "The Son of The Most High God "! Third, He prophesied His own death, burial and resurrection from the grave. Fourth, He makes mention of the days that you and I are living in now. The fields are ripe for the picking! People are eagerly looking for answers in this chaotic world. "The gates of Hell shall not prevail ". People you don 't attack with gates you defend with them! Lets get out there and share His gospel message and knock down those gates of Hell! Rebuke the devil in Jesus name and he shall flee from thee! We ARE in the last days and I 'm personally excited and eagerly looking for His glorious appearance to which I WILL NOT TASTE DEATH, as He described at the end of this passage. Amen

Hi Everyone, Do it for your own soul cause if you do not obey the scriptures as the command comes from JESUS himself in Matthew 16:17-19 giving the commission to Peter you will loose your soul and the day of Pentecost Peter spoke and told what must everyone do to be saved in Acts 2. It 's real it 's real and you will never regret that you took the time to yourself and prayed to God above on your Knees asking him to search your heart and cleanse you from all of your sins and of course ask for the Holy Ghost I dare any sincere hearted person to do just what I said, you will begin to fill his presence come upon you but don 't be afraid just keep praying until he fill your soul with this Precious Holy Ghost just try it for your own soul, how could you go wrong talking to the only God above ? God bless everyone!!

This rock in Matthew 16:18 is a reference to Jesus Christ just as in John 2:19 this temple was a reference to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the rock Psalms 62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation Many today have the wrong rock like Deuteronomy 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. The Bible says that Peter is a stone John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. And he is one among many 1 Peter 2:5. Peter preached a kingdom message with those keys which opens doors for opportunities to preach. See 1 Cor 16:9, and 2 Cor 2:12 for example. Today we listen to Paul our apostle Rom 11:13, Acts 9:15, 1 Tim 2:7, etc. who preaches Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Hello everyone to know the truth of God word, Jesus gave the keys to Peter in Matthew 16:18-19 and on the day of Pentecost Peter used those keys when he was asked a question What must we do ? In Acts 2:36-47 read these scriptures and with a sincere heart get to a private place to pray and ask God if this Holy Ghost is real today ? Repent for all of yours sins first then ask him if it 's real to allow you to be filled with his spirit which is the Holy Ghost. I promise you will not regret it, whats wrong with trying it for yourself or how can you go wrong talking to the one upon the throne ? Do it for your own soul. Stay in prayer asking for God presence and don 't be afraid. God Bless everyone!

Peter and rock don 't pun in Aramaic and Peter didn 't speak Greek. This is a fabrication, the Nazarene was a Jewish rabbi and very happy with his faith! This would be anathema to Joshua, ne the Christ.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ 's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Manybe this will help explain verse 24 for you.
