And to Mark:
Jesus was said to be the Son of David because he was of the lineage of David, in other words in David's family. Sort of like Scottish people who trace their family lines through names of the various clans, like Stewart, Shaw, Douglas, etc. Today we use last names to give indication of one's family tree. He was also a son of Abraham, meaning of the lineage of Abraham as well. The ancient Hebrew people traced their families by who their forbears were, by giving the name of a patriarch to whose branch of family they belonged. When reading Matthew's account of the lineage of Jesus, you see both Abraham and King David are prominently mentioned. By the way, "begat" means essentially, "had a child named".
I hope this clears it up a bit, and I hope you enjoy further reading the Bible, and that you gain even greater understanding of the times of Jesus and the history of the Jewish people.
The name Iesus is Latin, where as Jesus is English.
Back in 1611, the English language used more Latin words. The language has developed quite a bit from then to today. For more info, go to the home page and click on the 400th anniversary link. It gives more info on the language.
I was happened to see one video in youtube, ware I found one gentlemen was talking about king James 1611 Holly bible, that there is a manipulation done with the name iesus to Jesus. I want to know about this matter can you pls help me with salving my doubts with this.

e scripture to point out a fact. Is. 28:9-10,"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? [them that are] weaned from the milk, [and] drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little:
Jesus IS the Father in creation,(John1:1-14), Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration.
