I completely agree with Jennifer 's comment 3 22 2011. You are absolutely correct. These were some of the same thoughts I had. It 's amazing how the Holy Ghost will confirm God 's word I will add that with God, it is ALL or nothing. There is no in between or half hearted, half minded serving and loving Him.

To love the Lord our God with all my heart my inner most being , who I really am . With my soul my intellect , my mind what I meditate on always with all my strength The joy of the Lord is my strength. To have a working relationship fellowship communion with Him on a daily basis. Praise God !!!

God 's nature is love and since we are born again we have been adopted into the family of God. As a result we can meet the requirements of this Scripture because the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts.

There are three major things to be considered before we can finally say we love God according to today verse HEART organ that pumps blood from the blood vessels to various parts of the body. MIND man consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially in thought, perception,emotion, will, memory and imagination. Heart, Soul and mind must cooperate together in order to love him genuinely. if we love him according to John 14v15 we will keep his commandments, not sin against him, serve him with everything within us. Please God, help me to love you with the whole of my heart,soul and spirit.

It is a wise and good thing to come to God to seek Him and live righteously than to come and question Him.

There is a certain solid veil 'twixt the flesh and the spirit of God that the carnal cannot concieve.Spiritual truth is revealed of God as was to Peter when he said you are the Messiah but herewith it was not revealed to them except their carnal discernment.When we claim to know all things, like the pharisees and sadducees,it is when we know not.Seeking His knowledge must come first.

We are meant to be equally yoked, be then we were meant to be in a controlled social environment however in this side of creation we are to be tested with trial and tribulations. with Lucifer throwing a wench into the gear to upset the wheel of progress. It is hard to be equally yoked when your young and dumb, and still do not understand which way is up or which is down. and your going get happily ever after, have kids, and get married to one of the dads. for all these reasons was divorce allowed, because man did not listed unto God and did not protect the childrens enviorment they grew up into

In God's eyes, you were married until death. If no adultry form either partner is apparent, then in the eyes of God you are still married. Re-marrying will only be looked upon as adultry in the eyes of the Lord.

Every heaven bound believer must examine him self or her self and ensure the wedding garment is on and not spotted and ready for the Master.

does this verse have anything to do with divorce of the christian if there has been no adultry?if so are you still married in Gods eyes if when you got divorced through the courts you didnt know better? and are you free to remarry?

To love Jehovah God wholeheartedly refers to your innermost self, your motivations, your attitudes, and your deep emotions, along with your thinking faculties. Thus to love Jehovah God with your whole heart means that you love him dearly and that above everything else in life it is your considered choice to make his heart glad.

I f Jesus mention he is God of abraham,jacob and Isaac therefore Jesus is God, God of the dead and the living became human died and resurrected as God of the living created and who passed away in this life.

Im very inspired by this verse,it has given new hope to believe the ones chosen is different to the world.

This verces tells us. That you should obey his comendments, and love one GOD with all heart, and mind. And dont worship falsegods

God bless you. If we love the Lord with all our heart and all our mind, then we will DO what He commands. Solomon said the most important thing we can do on this earth is to fear God and obey his commands. It is the whole duty of man. Ecc 12:13. So WHAT exactly ARE those commands?
According to the bible is is the 10 commandments. 1John 2:3-7 says we have come to know him if we obey his commands and if he does NOT DO what he commands then he is a liar. That we are to walk as Jesus did. So Jesus kept the Sabbath day as was his custom, he kept the Passover with his disciples. He kept all the appointed Feasts of God. John writes that this is not a new command but an old one that we have had since the beginning. The 10 commandments~! Now we don't keep the old covenant 10 commandments with all its regulations and sacrifices. Now we keep the new covenant 10 commandments that Jesus kept as well as the disciples who were taught by Jesus. Jesus is the final sacrifice for all the daily, weekly, yearly sacrifices. So we keep the new covenant as Jesus taught us . If you are not keeping Sabbath the 7th day and if your church does not keep the feasts of God ,then you are not in Zion, the Church of God. So that means then you are worshiping God in vain. The bible clearly tells us the salvation comes out of Zion and that God dwells in Zion. Zion is the place where God's holy and appointed Feasts are kept....Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy.

The chosen ones are not the ones who try to qualify to be chosen. Nothing a person can do can change that he is chosen in spite of himself. Someone else made the choice. God has chosen certain people from before the beginning of times. He chose his prophets before they were born. Before they even had a chance to advertise themselves in his eyes. The chosen ones inherit the kingdom of God. The other ones just sit outside and watch.

one of the things that i'm learning and practicing, is to keep it simple. Jesus is teaching that he commands believers to love Him with our whole heart, soul and mind. This means that we believe he is God, that we trust Him and that we will obey. We also understand that we're in a process (santification).

To love the Lord thy God, is to obey and do what he desires of you, because if you love someone you do everything the person says or everything the person ask you to, so we should read the bible and do what the bible says. Thank you

the chosen ones are those who thirst for righteousness and strike to maintan holiness,God chose David because he was always asking for forgivness of his sins, but God hardened pharoa's heart because he was stubborn,so he was not chosen,u can decide to be a chosen or not,but God do not want any soul to perish!

There are several occasions when people seeking Jesus would call out to Him and call him Son of David. Many remembered the prophesy given to David a descendant of his would always sit on the throne. Jesus fulfills that completely. However, the point Jesus Christ makes here establishes his Lordship over David. David referred to God as his Lord, thus, Jesus Christ being God in flesh would be the one to whom David referred in song, prayers, and conversation.

The verse is simply requiring us to abstain from sin s with all our hearts, all our souls and all our minds.
