There was a news item in Israel this past week( of April 23 ,2020) that caught my eye, which stated that the Sea of Galilee was FULL!

    So what, I said

But also the Great Lakes of Canada/US are all above seasonal averages...

That's a lot of water....and the snow melt in Canada is not yet at its peak!

Re Jesus' return...." As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be prior to Jesus' return

Do you draw the same conclusion I'm drawing?

IN HIM, THE BEST PLACE TO BE, THE " Secret Place" OF PS91?

    Re Matt24:5

"For many will come in my name saying they are Christ; and will deceive many" is the current interpretation

but the above is NOTwhat Jesus said!

"Many will come in my name saying I ( Jesus.....my insert ) am Christ, and will deceive many"

Are there any denominational leaders who claim Jesus is the Messiah, and who deceive many of their followers by their theology ?

I can name two possibilities ( my opinion)

    What say you?

Matthew 24 is a good start as is Mark 13 they record what Christ said of the end times.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (diseases), and earthquakes, in divers places.

    Deuteronomy Chapter 11 is another

Vicki, praise God for your salvation through His Son & for your continual search through Holy Scriptures & your longing for the Saviour's return. We, who look for His Coming, have a tendency to wonder if the time is now. Yes, the signs are there: Israel is a nation & the Jews are returning to their homeland (see Ezek 37. They are spiritually dry (dry bones) & without God but He will put His Spirit in them (future) & place them in their own land - happening now (vv14,21,25). They will be one nation (v22) - from May 1948, there has been a steady return of the Jews back to Israel & that "the heathen may know that I sanctify Israel" (v28). The world continues to degenerate into godlessness, selfishness, immorality, idolatry, etc. Yet, the end is not yet as there are yet more to be saved ( 2 Pet 3:9). We don't know when Jesus will come; we cannot & should not set any dates. He have to be patient. We have to be alert & watching. We can watch Israel for signs & a time frame, but: Mt 24:36.

I've been a Christian (born again) since 11/1/1992. I'm 79 years old. Upon studying the Scriptures, I know Jesus could return anytime. Upon further study, I've kind of looked for Him as possibly during the fall since the other prophecies have been fulfilled by Jesus Christ. (Blessed to have been in Israel in 1994 during the fall high holy days) I've been accused of setting date of Jesus return. It's been 28 years of watching. I don't know when He's coming. I've really suffered with this. Am I guilty of date setting? Thank you.

The Roman Catholic church is the whore that sits in the beast . Being the little horn amongst the ten horns . Having blasphemy written on her head . Blasphemy calling the Pope father and man saying the Pope has authority to forgive sins. Jesus says call no man Father for there is only one Father to all and he is in Heaven. Shady dealings throughout history amassing great wealth in the name of God as well as the massacre of the Saints that followed Christ yet refused to join the idolitors and blasphemous Catholic Church. She is whore.

Matthew 24:7 speaks of pestilence in divers ( of different kinds) places. Luke 21:11 also speaks about the same. However, according to Luke 21:12 says that before the pestilence comes the Disciples of Christ will be persecuted. Matthew 24:9 also says this but after 24:7 (). I don't see this as a sign of end times Could be wrong.

Hello Abubakar, that's a good question. While Jesus had his chosen people of Israel he spent most of his time with, Jesus came to Earth and died on the cross to save all people. Jesus said to teach 'all nations' Matthew 28:19, to 'all the world' Matthew 24:14, and was given first to the Jews then to Greeks (meaning others): Romans 1:16. Jesus couldn't be everywhere at once so he chose a certain place and people to focus his ministry on, but it's for everyone in the world. He has a heart for everyone- remember Jesus's story of the good Samaritan about being a good neighbor to everyone: Luke 10:25-37

Great observation for them closing churches. the way most churches are nowadays with heresies and lies they may as well close them. Most use the modern perversion Bibles. They accept things God calls abominations. Persecution shall wake up the true remnant church.

But these TARES, having God's power-but NOT FROM God, directly-but INSTEAD by-way-of devils, DO great works ( Matthew 24:24-25; Exodus 7:8-12; Exodus 7:15-22; Exodus 8:5-7; BUT God may limit them as in Exodus 8:16-19; Exodus 9:8-11), and fool men into becoming ensnared by Satan (which is MY assumption, not direct witnessing). AND these, as now BONDED to the Devil, DO the Devil's desire-destroying ALL which is in the eye of their scope. Destroying both air, land, AND sea. Both insect, plant, man AND beast. As they LIE as they worship said VERY THINGS! Praying to the heavens-moon, sun, AND trees! And they HATE with an CRUEL hate, with a fiery INTENSITY, all those, whose right-ways, shine the

Tried to post this a few minutes after I'd posted the rest, but the system wouldn't let me. Here's the rest though (p.s., the poem is not very good, at all, but it was from the heart. I only am attempting to post it now, because it shows, like some of the Psalmists (according to some preachers I've heard in the past), the change from despair to hope, or well, more like the change of despair, to showing the acknowledgement of God's gloriousness. I wanted folk to know that I was just sad. Nothing's changed, well, maybe a little (internally, some hope returned, with a better perspective). So anyway, if allowed, I'll post the original part 5-whatever, now:

Matthew 24:36 is all red letter so that means Jesus is speaking. Listen. Mark it in your Bible.
"But of that day and hour knows NO man, no, not the angels of Heaven, BUT my FATHER ONLY."

Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, making intercession FOR THE SAINTS.

Don't wait till the last minute to be born again, tell people you love, about salvation, to talk to those who are ready to hear it. Put Chick tracts on windshields. Don't harden your hearts. Everyone spends time on Facebook and Twitter. We're all experts on talking. Make it count for a someone. It is time. Anybody remember Billy Graham? One of the greatest soul winners! He taught us on prophesy! It's not hard

Pam, it's not too difficult. God presented several curses when Adam and Eve sinned. 1.The serpent, it will eat dust and move about on it's belly(prior to sin, it was able to fly) 2. To Satan - Jesus Christ will come as the redeemer of man and bear our sins and die for us(More on this below). 3. To Eve, child bearing will be painful. 4.Finally to Adam, he will have to toil and sweat and work hard to support his family.
To provide more details: As Christ lived and died for us Satan tried to kill/destroy his name(that is Satan bruising the heel). Christ will bruise Satan's head by dying on the cross for our sins and in the end place all sins on Satan in the lake of fire to be forever destroyed

I read the Bible record again of Jesus's brothers. Mark 6:13 and Matthew 55-56. James (wrote the book of James). Jude wrote the book of Jude. Joseph and Simon. He had at least 2 sister.
Lies that Jesus & Mary Magdalene we're married is just a desperate attempt to sell a book or movie. False doctrine!!

The gospel of Jesus Christ (that everyone through time has preached to the unsaved and unlearned) is easy to remember: The BIRTH, LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus. Our Messiah.
He's not dead. He is seated at the right hand of God, making intercession for the
Saints. Remember he told Peter "I have prayed for you". He prays for us every day 24/7. Remember to praise Him :)
