What are your thoughts biblically speaking on a Christian woman having an abortion?

You might find that the same people killing Christians in the tribulation will be the same ones who killed Jesus and the apostles and Christ's followers.
King James Bible book of John 5:16 - And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 5:18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

John 7:1 - After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
  • Paul - In Reply on Matthew 24 - 4 years ago
In the time of Jacob's trouble which is the time that Jesus is talking about people will be having to honour the sabbath again, new dispensational period. To escape the antichrist and all of his followers who want to kill the Jews they will be wanting to take flights into places where they will hopefully be safe and during this time there will be no flights on the sabbath day. Its quite literal I believe.

Where the above relates to SALVATION through JESUS I say WOW! WOW! WOW! because I understand from the above, JESUS return could have have been yesterday, but JESUS did not return yesterday so I pinch myself to remember oh, oh, JESUS is merciful, long-suffering,... ensuring all who will enter in SALVATION enter in before JESUS return as stated above. Thank GOD for JOHN 3:16-21.

So am I to understand that God will make a new Earth and Heaven because Satan has contaminated this ones? I don't find that hard to believe because, our God can do anything since he is an awesome God, creator of Heaven and Earth and there's no other more powerful than He.

There is a lot I don't know or understand but I do understand these commands that Jesus give. What is important is be ready -- Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also READY: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Matthew 24 is about the signs we are to look for revealing Christ's imminent 2nd Coming to earth. We are already in those Times of Sorrow with the floods, fires, earthquakes, wars and rumours of wars... Christ and His disciples observed all of God's Laws from the Old Testament, so must we.. Only those who have repented and are baptised full immersion as Christ commanded, can be ready for those End time to come, with much worse in the Great Tribulation to follow... God commanded us to keep His 7th day Saturday Sabbath not Sunday His annual Feast Days and His Dietary Laws of Clean and Unclean forbidden meat if we don't observe those things we are not ready for the End Times to come....

Many say that the old Laws are not relevant today because of the Cross.... We must remember that Jesus taught His disciples from the Old Testament scriptures, He taught them to keep the 10 Commandments, His annual Holy Feast Days, His dietery Laws of Clean and Unclean meats... Especially the 4th Commandment, Remember My Sabbath to keep it Holy the 7th day Sabbath not the pagan Sunday 'Sabbath.'

Matthew 24 is about the signs of the End Times before Christ's 2nd Coming to earth. Jesus tells us what signs to look out for. We are seeing those signs already today, wars, rumours of wars, commotions, earthquakes, floods, fires this tells us that we are in the Times of Sorrow, before the beginning of the Great Tribulation, which will destroy most of mankind and the earth...Be prepared...

Hi, I found these scriptures. Are they referring to The Rapture? 1 Corinthians 15:52, Matthew 24:30, 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:13, Revelation 1:7. On a funny note: I remember singing the song "Ill see you in the rapture" as a kid and "Left Behind The rapture song - all which were very scary to me, I was afraid to go to sleep.

Gary. S I agree with you. The true gospel is about the coming Kingdom of God, which Jesus preached. Matthew 4:23 I have read Mr. Herbert Armstrong's published books and I have enjoyed all of them.
  • Gary Stowerwws on Matthew 24 - 5 years ago
Professing Christianity has been preaching their version of a gospel message throughout this world since Christ was here in the flesh 2000 years ago. The true gospel is of the coming Kingdom of God to which true Christians can be born into by a second birth, that is a Spiritual birth. This real gospel that Christ preached has been published to the world by Herbert W. Armstrong in this end age.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations and then shall the end come. Is it not preached in the all the world now? Yes it is. Its close.

A passage for out times. One of the most interesting versus is Matt 24:45. That servant is interpreting the book of truth - now open to us from Daniel 11. What's amazing is that we are at Dan 11:30 and waiting for the abomination of desolation - the 6th seal and our departure.

Kim, Can you direct me to a scripture that says we cannot lose our salvation? Judas lost his. Before his betrayal he was a disciple of Christ. Surely he thought his salvation was secure. Mark 13:13, Matthew 24:13, Rev 3:5, Ecc 12:13, Rev 22:14 There is no assurance of salvation. We believe and we live a certain way because of it. If one truly believes fear of the Lord should keep you from sin.

Hi my name is Joseph Tapia. I wanted to say that I'm struggling to trust in God, cause I kept on finding videos from YouTube by people talking about the end of the world. I kept seeing one that says about 2020 and 2050, and that made me stress. I'm trying to remember Matthew 24:36, but I'm afraid that it's stuck in my head and I'm having a hard time letting it go. Can you please pray for me?

Hear O man: for the world prepares not for Christ's end, but for it's last end. For the wicked counsels himself saying, be Ready.gov: Yet I tell ye to repent and put on Christ, even the WHOLE armor of GOD. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? But BE YE also ready: for in such an hour as YE think not the Son of man came.

A careless Christian will spend time attacking fellow Christian workers by speaking evil and backbiting and also having a compromising life with unbelievers, such a Christian will be caught unawares.
  • Riikka - In Reply - 5 years ago
You asked about the rapture. I don't know. In the bible it says that when Jesus comes, there's no time to do anything. After he has come, the non-believers are sent to eternal punishment and the believers to eternal life. See: Matthew 24:36, Matthew 25:46 and Revelation 20:15.
