Somebody told me that this was a "failed prophecy." Could someone please explain the context of these verses to me more? I noticed that the verses talked about what will happen before the rapture right? I would really appreciate better insight on this. Just been trying to research more into the Bible.

It is when we accept temptation that he might be ready. If we keep ourselves from falling through repentance we will stay in his grace. May the lord have mercy on us all.
