V.8; All these things are the beginning of sorrows. The theme of v.24 is when he will be coming; a time that no one knows, and what people will see, and natural things that will happen, earthquakes, famine, wars, people leaving their homes with nothing. V.28 is simply what is says, the context is not that the carcase is symbolic of Christ's body. The chapter does not guide us to think it is

An answer to Billspiro's question concerning v.28 "For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." The carcase has to be Jesus Christ because Jesus said we are to eat of His body and drink of His blood. This must be a symbolic figure of the burnt offering that Christ makes for us on the Cross. Rev 1:5 . We are caught up to meet Him the clouds before the Wrath of God is released upon the earth. In other words, this passage is marking the coming of our Lord. "...Immediately After the Tribulation...the sun shall be darkened... v29 ..."And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds...And HE shall gather HIS Elect..." So the Lord is in the Clouds and we are gathered to meet Him there. See Acts 1:11, we are told the Christ will return in the clouds. The next time Christ is mentioned coming in the clouds is Rev. 1:7, which parallels Matthew 24:30. We will be with HIM there b c we are the ones to accepted HIS Carcase as a sacrifice.

Read Luke 12:4-5. This is Jesus warning, do you not believe him? He says he sends people to hell. Jeremiah 10:23 "O Lord I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his path." Does this tell us we do not have free will? There are many more verse for this.

God sends no one to hell they send themselves God gives us free will he doesn't

Correction; Matthew 25:41; hell prepared for the devil and his angels. Yet God sends man there too.

Hell was not meant for mankind but, those who reject Christ (who, by the way paid everyones sin debt for them) then they choose to go there to pay for their own sins which is totally foolish to do. Jesus was born to die on the cross for us.

Matthew 10:28. Some one wrote that"hell was made for devils". In this verse we are told "fear God" because he is able to cast into hell. Do a search for "hell" scripture does not teach it is for devils, it is for man. I hope this helps.

They are perilous times, horrifying! Jesus is warning people what to do and what not to do. But a mother and her child will be vulnerable.
Matt 24:19 is not a judgement against her. You should heed Proverbs30:6

Notice in Matthew 24:29-30, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days" Verse 30--"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven " Therefore Christ Jesus the Lord is not coming before the tribulation, but Immediately after the tribulation of those days.

Matthew 24:22"And except those days should be shorten,there should no flesh be saved,but for the elect's sake those days shall be shorten" Would it make any sense for the Lord to shorten the days of the tribulation for the elect,If He has already raptured the elect out before the tribulation?why shorten the tribulation if the elect are already taken before the tribulation?

Matthew 24:39"And knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.Verse 40"Then shall two be in the field;the one shall be taken,and the other left.Verse 41,Two women shall be grinding at the mill;the one shall be taken,and the other left.As you can see in Verse 39 those that were taken away by the flood,Will hold true one the field,one grinding.

Alot of people are being mislead by what Christ Jesus said in Matthew 24:19,"And Woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days" If people are with child and is nursing a child when Christ Jesus returns, by this shows that they were unfaithful to the Lord Christ Jesus that they have been worshipping the false Christ other than the true Christ Jesus.

Tina these are the events that will take place at the end. The big dogs are coming the locust disguised priest and when instead of CHRIST antichrist shows up all the churches will listen to the locust telling them to follow there Jesus. When Jesus stared to speak them in verse 3, telling them, ...There shall not be left here one stone upon another,... they may were scared and alarmed to heard it, and some how they were listening all that things that He spoke (until the verse 51) and understanding as a prophecy for times to come. Also a purpose for all the generations to come even this present generation.

4-28 It is reasonable why Jesus did not gave them the answer, when the disciples asked him "Tell us, when this things shall be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming..." It was not necessary to make know them the length of time and the signs because his coming is not "by and by", so the purpose to make know them all that things that have to happen and it still going on in this presents days.

This verse encouraging me what can a person live in christ jesus.

the phrase: "if it were possible" was said be Jesus....so there is something to it, yet in His situation it was not possible. by talking about the Elect....we need to define elect: then we need to see the purpose in adding that clause "if it were possible".....it is either possible or it is not possible. one thought track leads to God will not hinder one of the elect from being tric-ked. The other thought track would be it is impossible for the elect to be tric-ked. The implications lead either to there is no safety in being an elect, that even the most devout in Christ can fall. OR, that God has put a seal on the elect that they cannot fall.... which brings us right back to once truly saved, always saved, and chosen from BEFORE the world was formed Eph 1, or our faith depends on our works.... It is God's Word that says we are his, we are in his hands and no one or nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ....

Randy elect means set aside ones.Gods elect that are chosen by God and they are deliver up to the churches of the one world system after the false messiah takes over and the Holy Spirit speaks through the elect. They are led by two witnesses that will be in the first tribulation of antichrist and they go against antichrist because the false Christ says that he is Christ but he is a fake. And after the two witnesses are killed and lay in the street so all can see them dead, well, they rise up at the sound of the 7 th trump and THEN Our Lord Jesus Returns at that 7 th Trump and we are all changed into spiritual bodies and Our Lord sets up His Kingdom. The elect are Gods chosen to stand against Satan with the Holy Spirit.

The work "Christ" is defined as "The anointed one". Jesus said "Many will come in my name". This is the key to understanding this scripture. many focus on "I am Christ". When looking tat this scripture as many coming in the name of Jesus and the the word "Christ" as meaning the anointed one, then you will easily see it's meaning which is "Many will arise that will be preaching in the name of Jesus, and proclaiming that they are anointed, but be very careful of that because "many" will be deceitful and cause many believers to go after them and follow them. The root of this is the love of money. They proclaim that they are anointed and will actually produce a personal following. Many will be deceived simply because they have a desire to follow the one that is best anointed and seems to know the Lord and his ways, but wind up following one who is Christ within themselves. This is the reason "shepherding" became big in the 80's and the "anointing" became big in the 90's. They are not part of the five fold ministry because they are not doing what Ephesians said the 5 fold ministry should be doing. Be careful that you are not deceived. Be VERY carful.

Verse 28: The carcass are lost people. Note verse 39 sets the theme for verses 40 and 41 which a lot of people think is the rapture, it's not. The one's taken away are the lost. See Luke 17:24-37 where it is made more clear, the 12 ask the Lord where they are taken to. The cross reference for all this is Revelation 19:17-21. The ones left go into Christ's Earthly Kingdom, the 1,000 years.

I believe that because sin has increased iniquity the love of many shall wax turn cold. Why does a man or woman say to the other, "I don't love you any more, and walks off?" The person's love for their mate has gone cold because of sin. They quit serving God who is Love. Why do some women abandon a child in a dumpster, has their love turned cold because of sin? We are living in the last days. "Awaken Church, there is no one praying".
