I have encountered controversy over many of the verses in this chapter. I was raised to believe in a secret rapture since I was a child, but this entire chapter speaks to the contrary. My questions are this if anyone can help. If believers will be removed during a secret rapture before the tribulation, why would Jesus provide this detailed warning that we will see the antichrist seated in the church and give us instructions to flee? 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Satan will be given permission to wage war against the saints. If all have been raptured, then this would not be possible. A secret rapture would give discredit to the words of God. We all will face persecution from the antichrist. The world will be split between those deceived and the elect who see the truth as God reveals it. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Some believe that verse 40 and 41 prove a rapture. I see this as a symbolic verse of the split of the world. Those who follow the antichrist and those who refuse.

This chapter is about the end and the events that will unfold. The subject is deception and who comes to deceive the whole world and who is that first one taken who left deceived into the deception by the antichrist all them that left the field the mill and all that are deceived chasing after antichrist. Why do they fall into the strong delusion and believe that this is Christ because they believe mans lies and were not prepared with the truth. Preachers have told people that Satan comes chopping off heads because they never read the word and never found out the truth that Satan comes transformed meaning disguised and his fallen angels come as ministers of light. Yes the locust army are priest that want to take you to Jesus but it 's not our Jesus it 's death and when the elect are delivered up its to death the son of perdition.

Jesus is going to tell us just what the 7events that will take place at the end. Just before He gets here and His return.

A Bible believing christian doesn 't have to follow a teacher who doesn 't know for sure where she is going after she dies as far as I can kick this building I 'm sitting in 1 John 5:13. In the Chruch age we have a KNOW SO salvation and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. According to Colossians 2:11-12 there is an operation of God made without hands and the word of God Heb 4:12 cuts your soul away from your flesh and the sins of the flesh can 't touch the soul. You soul is SAVED but your body isn 't until you get your new one Rom 8:23. The christian can lose their testimony, and many other things, but salvation is not one of them. Now if those who want to believe in works and tongues and baptism to be saved a time is coming where they will have to endure till the end, Matthew 24:13, if they want to try it.

What Jesus was actually saying : Is that many will come in the name of Jesus and say here is the annointed one BELIEVE THEM NOT! Christ means the annointed one !! That prophecy has come TRUE a million times over! A good example of that is Benny Hinn claiming to have the anointing. BELIEVE THEM NOT

There are other post there as well concerning the rapture that I have addressed and correct. The rapture is very real and it will take place. God 's word does not lie. God cannot lie, Hebrews 6: 18.

Karen the rapture is teachings of traditions of men and there is no rapture. It was a women who created the lie to fly. Listen to God in Ezekiel chapter 13 and He says He hates them that teach His Children to fly to save their souls. It 's not the true Salvation of God and He will reward them in a bad way that teach it. As verse 2 says there will not be one stone left upon another. It 's more than that in the Manuscript it says to dust. On the return and the only return of Christ at the 7th trump ALL will see Him and ALL will be changed into spirit bodies. The seals are clear in Rev chapter 6 that we are to be sealed with and there is no rapture in the seals that the elect are sealed with in Revelation 6 and don 't be taken into that lie because it 's a fast way to die. Study and you will find the truth and don 't listen to ignorant teachers who preach other men 's words and false Salvation.

Hello Karen Miller: Yes, it does. In households, fields, buildings, etc., you have people all over the world that are saved. You have a husband that is not saved and the wife that is saved. They could be in the bed and the call of the Lord and the trump will sound. The wife will be taken and the man left. A daughter or son saved and the mother and father are not. They could be at the dinner table when the call and the trump sounds the daughter and son taken and the parents are left sitting at the dinner table. The rapture is very real. In order to be a part of it a person has to follow Acts 2: 38. The power of the Holy Ghost, which is the resurrection power, is what will change a person and give them flight.

I like how Matthew describe the events and articulate what to look for and the severity of what is to come.

Hello Divyanshu Sen: 1 Thessalonians 4: 12 thru 18 is talking about the saints of God. It is talking about the people who have put on the name of Jesus Christ by following Acts 2: 38. This is talking about the Rapture of his church, his bride, and his people. The description is in the Bible, but no man knows the day or the hour when the son of man will come, Matthew 24: 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only . This is the part that is hidden like a thief in the night. A thief does not let you know when he is coming to take something, however you do know the description of a thief.

Kennedy akuno we are to watch and as verse 23 tells us if they say Christ is here or there we are not to go. When the fake Christ comes antichrist them in Jerusalem are to flee and them on the housetops stay as watchmen not to chase after the one they are calling Christ. They are not to leave the fields working but to wait for the true Christ. As long as your in the flesh you know the 7th trump has not sounded so Wait. The hour is 5 months and half of that Satan will pretend to be Christ so just stay out of the system.

It does not say "nations " or "kingdoms ". It says nation singular against nation and kingdom against kingdom. Could the 2 nations be Jacob and Esau and the 2 kingdoms be darkness and Light?

Hello Karen, Doyle, and Kennedy akuno 1 Thessalonians 1 10 "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come ". The true saints of God, those who have put on his name by following Acts 2 38 will not go through the wrath that is to come.

The signs Jesus is giving to His disciples to watch for His coming, are exactly the events in the seals opened by the slain Lamb of God in Revelation 6. Be watching, brothers sisters, we fly very soon!

Hello Insight777 Despite all the weaponry mankind may have it does not compare to what is coming from the Lord in Revelation. Nuclear weapons is child plays. There are terrible things coming upon the Earth. This is why it is so important to get saved by following Acts 2 38 now why there is still grace and mercy.

Hello Insight777 In regarding Luke 23 30 this scripture is part of what is going to be happening during the tribulation. If I can say it like this, Jesus is telling the women of Israel not to weep for gun. People will be running to the mountain and the hills asking them to hide them, because during that time it is going to be more terrible than what anyone can imagine. Mankind will not be able to change the law to help them get out of trouble. Mankind will not be able to buy their way out of this trouble that is coming. Mankind will not be able to be exclusive living separate from they consider lower class people . During the time of tribulation everyone will be on equal footing, those who will take that mark of 666.

Verse 19..can mean that an adult can withstand a larger amount of radiation before cellular damage occurs. A fetus and young babies can receive damage to their DNA that is not repairable given the same dose of radiation.

Verse 16 could have a double meaning. If the abomination of desolation is a nuclear missile and the holy place is Jerusalem then people of Judea are allowed to go to other nations for military help. There will be a major tragic event to happen before Israel will gain military allies for its defense. Mountain is a word used in the Bible symbolically for a kingdom or country. In Luke 23..30 to ask mountains to fall on one means requesting airstrikes on homeland to help defend it. When an ally nation covers another nation they are protecting it.

Hello Dennis W. People have to first understand that the Bible is written to those who have put on the name of Jesus Christ. It is written to the saved people. The only thing that the Bible is telling those who are not saved is to get saved according to Acts 2 38. There is an old saying, You cannot clean a fish before you catch him . See you can tell a person endure, live a clean life, do well unto others, respect your neighbor all of this is good and you should strive to do these things, however if a person is not saved according to Acts 2 38 in the end when death comes to them or the rapture takes place they are lost or left behind to go through the tribulation. This is what Jesus Christ true mission was to seek and to save that which was lost.

My understanding is he who holds fast to Christ "s testimony of himself shall be saved. He who has the son has life, he who has not the son, has not life.

Hello Jonas Jesus Christ came to complete fulfillment of the Prophesies. His mission however was to seek and save that which was lost. Luke 19 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost . Matthew 18 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Ezekiel 34 16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick but I will destroy the fat and the strong I will feed them with judgment. This is the true mission of Jesus Christ, who is both LORD and Christ.
